Maya smiled as she noticed Larry coming back in. She couldn't help but pick up the rest of the cake and shove it down her throat. "Mn...That...Hits the spot~Mn, Can I get some more of this cake please? And if you sell hamburgers, I'd like a couple of those too~." She giggled some, looking to Larry. "Don't be so down on yourself..Look at me, I've been accused of killing my sister and some Doctor..I'm still happy...I keep a smile on my face..I may have lost my sister, and don't know where my mother is, but they are always here, in spirit~." She smiled and sipped on her coffee.

((Don't worry. There's a good reason as to how Jack knows Godot and Mia. And he shall explain... now. Jack's speech couple of T&T spoilers. And sorry Lida. I got confused.))
Jack expected a violent reaction from Godot when he said Mia's name. He cursed mildly when Godot grabbed his arms tight. He'd lost his cocky smile from earlier on and was now showing a serious expression. He turned to Maya. "I'm so sorry but I need to talk about her. I need to clear things up for your friend here." Jack then turned to Godot "You want to know how I know you? Fine sit tight." He tucked his chair in closer to the table. He stared deep into the red lights glaring at him. "As I told you I was a prosecutor and that I was good at it. So good in fact I won a trial against your old boss Mr. Grossberg." He turned his eyes away briefly from the mask and smiled for a little moment remembering his courtroom days.

"This intrigued Mia. It isn't easy to beat a veteran attorney such as him." He looked back at Godot. "She needed a prosecutor to help her charge a man who ruined her family. Redd White. I'm sure you've heard of him. He ran Bluecorp. A blackmailing company. Anyway after my recent victory she asked me if I would prosecute him." Jack pushed his hair behind his back. "I was attracted to her I admit so that's one of the reasons why I agreed to help. We watched the papers, the news anything to do with him. Over time Mia and I got close. As friends I mean." He quickly clarified to Godot. He got very sore arms when he mentioned Mia's name. He wouldn't have any arms if Godot thought he had done anything with her.

"And after about half a year she asked me if I would help charge another person as well as Mr. White. I asked who and she took me with her to the hospital. That's when I first saw you. Mia told me about the case, and what that bitch did to you. She also told me she visited every day, always hoping you would open your eyes." Jack paused a moment. "I told her I would help. I admired her for her determination to finish what we started, and I wasn't fond of a murderer walking the streets freely." Jack took a deep breath. This was a long story. "Anyway I lost my job. Tough break since if I wasn't a prosecutor, I couldn't prosecute White or the bitch. I still helped Mia with White though. My current job mean's I have to learn a lot about people and I learned a lot about Redd for Mia's files." Jack looked to his laptop. He needed to get back to work soon.

"Mia made sure Ms Hawthorne got what she deserved and she did it without me. I doubted how resourceful she was." Jack sat back on his chair. "So that's about all of it. Except after Mia died. I was devastated. Absolutely devastated. I thought nobody would bring White to justice, but once again I was wrong. Somebody did." Jack smiled as he though about that man. He thought it was I knew there was one last thing I could do for Mia when she died. I went to the hospital every day and waited for you to wake up for almost 3 years. Until one day you weren't there. You'd left and I never saw you again until I saw you wander in this coffee bar." Jack was silent after his speach. He didn't have much else to say.

"You sure you don't want that job kid?" Armand asked Larry almost desperate as he made Godot's coffee. "I'll take whatever help I can get!" He passed Godot his single coffee then heard Maya's chirpy voice. "Of course young lady." Armand smiled as he got that cake and passed it to her.
((Tell me what you think about Jack's backstory. I think it makes sense to the ace attorney plot but I'm not 100% sure.))

((Um... I'm a little confused by the back story- I hope you don't mind if I ask some questions to clear things up for me and some for Godot?))

((Why would she ask him to watch over Godot when she could? She doesn't sound close to him, more that she just respects him. I'm not sure she'd give him names and back story if that's the case. I'm not sure what his definition of a good prosecutor is, but I assume that Jack was a good prosecutor cause he found the truth in a testimony that was confusing or something? Cause Mia always came across as someone that valued the truth alot. That, and he sounds like he doubts how good he actually is like here- "Mia made sure Ms Hawthorne got what she deserved and she did it without me. I doubted how resourceful she was." Um... Redd White- what grounds was he being asked to prosecute on? Um... I assume you have a reason for him losing his job as a prosecutor? (Maybe it was cause of Redd >.> ). I donno- I think Jack is 90% there, there's just a few loose ends that seem to be dangling there *nods* If they'll be explained later then it's all good. ))

((Sorry if I appear anal T.T ))

((I don't mind the questions at all in fact I apreciate them. It helps me to think about what I've done wrong. I'll explain what I can about these loose ends.
Spoiler:
"Why would she ask him to watch over Godot when she could?" She didn't ask Jack to look after him. Jack knew that nobody else was going to be there for Godot when Mia died. He thought he could look over Godot as a final favour to her from beyond the grave.

"I'm not sure what his definition of a good prosecutor is, but I assume that Jack was a good prosecutor cause he found the truth in a testimony that was confusing or something? Cause Mia always came across as someone that valued the truth alot." Your more or less right. I'm not going to go into much detail as I'm hoping to use this case for something but Mia saw a flare in Jack, that wasn't in any other prosecutors she saw. Jack also saw something in that case that her boss, a veteran defence attorney didn't. There's another reason but I'm not going to go into that yet.

"He sounds like he doubts how good he actually is." Jack has a little doubt in himself as he did lose his job as a prosecutor. I mean being fired doesn't exactly boost your self confidence. But at the time this rp takes place he more or less believes he could step back into court. In the statement you mentioned he said he 'doubted how resourceful she was." He was talking about Mia. He didn't think Mia could get Ms. Hawthorne to pay for her crimes without his own help as she was a defence attorney not a prosecutor. Mia thought it would be easier to just prosecute her for murder so that's why she asked Jack to help her in the first place.

"Redd White- what grounds was he being asked to prosecute on?" Jack wasn't going to prosecute White straight away. He and Mia both knew that Redd White had his company run on blackmail but they needed more evidence. So they took any info related to him, and of people they both believed were being blackmailed by him. I imagined that the report about the suicide Phoenix finds in 1:2 is one of the bits of info that they took.

I think that's all I can explain. If you want to know anything about spoiler related stuff, Arkillian feel free to pm me.))

"You truly are an inspiration, Maya," Larry said with a smile. "I let things get to me too easily. But I'll try to be better about that, okay? Starting with getting this job. Okay, Armand, dude! What do you need to have done around here. No matter what it is, I can take it." He held up his thumbs at Armand. Then, he turned back to Maya. "You always know the right things to say."

Maya smiled as he told her how she was an inspiration. As the cake was brought, she used her fork to cut off a piece and offer it to him. "Say ahh~" She tried to ignore the conversation going on, but the words just kept repeating. "She needed a prosecutor to help her charge a man who ruined her family. Redd White. I'm sure you've heard of him. He ran Bluecorp. A blackmailing company." She remembered the man well, because he accused her of murder.

Her head turned, and she looked directly Godot, frowning some. "H-Hey, Larry, maybe we can go somewhere else..." She turned her head back to Larry. She was terribly unhappy, having to hear about her sister and the man that killed her. She had a thought, and got up, rushing over to Armand. "Where's that uniform?" She casually dug through some stuff and walked around to some other stuff, finally pulling one out and running off to the restroom. She figured it was a nice excuse to get away for a moment. "Hmph.. He doesn't even care...Maybe if he knew I was her sister...Why did I never meet him?" She shrugged and undressed herself.

[ I hope you don't mind..I'm going to put her in a cute little work outfit. What color should it be, Luke~? >>;; ]

((Don't mind at all Minuki. As for colour... well Armand's favourite colour is red. It reminds him of Liverpool! So that outfit should be red.))
Armand smiled as Maya ran into the bathroom. You just don't meet girls like her any more. He then looked over to Larry. "Come over here mate! I have your uniform here..." He said looking in the box. In the box was a few different looking outfits. But at the top of the pile was a picture of a young looking Armand outside a coffee shop kissing an attractive lady with long, luscious red hair. Armand froze a moment as he stared deep at the picture.

Maya wiped some of her tears away, getting dressed in the red dress that remained above her knees, but not too high up. Then, the apron, that had some frills around the edge. "I guess this is okay..Red isn't really my color, but, okay..." She sniffled some, and stepped out of the bathroom. She walked over to where she had been sitting and set her clothes down. She looked over to Godot again and shook her head. She wiped the rest of her tears, putting a smile on. "Do I look cute~?"

"Ooh. That lady's cute. What is she, your wife or something?" Larry asked as he grabbed his uniform. Before he could go get changed, Maya walked out in a red uniform. Larry blushed slightly.
"Do I look cute~?" Maya asked.
"Are you kidding, Maya?" Larry replied. "You always look cute." He gave her a thumbs up.

"Cute?" Godot echoed, examining the outfit curiously, not sure what colour it was, "I'd say you're more than cute, young kitten." adopting a pleasant smile, Godot leant back on the bar and smiled as he took another sip of coffee, "You look sweeter than the juicy red strawberry that sat on the top of your cake." Taking a sip of coffee, Godot didn't often get to use sugar metaphors- he had only ever used them on Mia years ago... till now.

Taking off his mask for a moment, hoping to see the actual colour of her outfit, Godot was reminded once more of his lack of vision as the world became a large blur of colour. squinting to make out some colour, Godot's eyebrows raised helplessly.

"It's a pretty white dress... Although I'd prefer to see red on you, Kitten. It's my favourite colour." Smiling to himself as he continued to look at the blur of white in front of him, he smiled. It had been a while since he saw a colour that wasn't red. It was true that he loved the colour, but he felt the red veil hid the truth from him.

((If only he knew how MUCH it did...))

Spoiler: What Godot sees

I'd assume Godot sees a blur, but much worse than I would, so this may be an optomist version of what he can see

She smiled as Larry told her she was cute, and she spun around. It made her happy, and she felt pretty. As Godot spoke, she froze. Her smile just grew as he continued speaking. He was such a kind person to her, but she wondered if he'd be the same if Mia wasn't her sister. That though popped real soon as he took off his mask. "You look much more like yoursel-" He began speaking again, and she started to laugh. "White? It's red, silly~" She tobbled over to him and have him a big hug. "Thanks, anyway~"

((Oh my gosh, I remember doing Coffee Shop RPs a long while ago here... They didn't last long, and I don't think Godot ever joined in, so... eh, but I'd like to join this one. Will give me a chance to flesh out my guys' backstory.
Spoiler: PROFILE! Spoiler'd to save space
Names: Jay and Jeremy Slezak
Ages: 21 and 26 respectively

Appearances: Jay is about average height and average weight, has medium-length black hair, has hazel-colored eyes, and likes to wear blue-colored outfits. He also wears black tennis shoes that at first glance look like dress shoes, a black case strapped to his belt that he carries all his items in (some of which include his detective equipment, his detective's badge, a magatama very similar to Maya's that Phoenix gave him as a gift from Maya for helping Nick on a case or two way back when, and other miscellaneous things.), and a silver bracelet dotted with tiny blue gems, which have a glowing luster to them, that he wears on his left wrist.
Jeremy is a bit taller and thinner than Jay, has nearly-glowing blonde hair down to his shoulders, green eyes, and likes to wear green outfits. He has tennis shoes, a black case, and a silver bracelet all the same as Jay's.

Personalities: Jay and Jeremy are detectives, so they naturally have a curious nature, espeically about things they can't understand, like paranormal activities for instance. They are both outgoing and love meeting new people. Jeremy is a bit more polite than Jay, but Jay is just a bit more outgoing than Jeremy. The brothers like to be humorous at times, but sometimes they can be very serious and deep-thinking. This aura of depth sometimes puts people off who do not wish to hear such "wisdom". As you can see, the brothers have a wide variety of personality. They like to refer to themselves as "realistic optimists"; they like to see the good side in things, but recognize that not everything is sunshine and rainbows... Oh do they know that all too well...

Notable backstory:
- Jay and Jeremy are brothers, but they don't remember much about their childhoods.
- Jay knows Phoenix from a couple minor cases a few years ago, but neither Jay nor Jeremy have met Maya, Larry, Mia, Godot, or any of the other AA characters in person... except for Gumshoe, whom Jay worked under for a brief period of time before breaking off into freelance.
- The brothers are so close, they have sometimes been called the "J-twins" even though they aren't actual twins. Because of this closeness, the brothers have developed a mental link in which they share thoughts with eachother and sometimes, usually accidentally, do or say things simultaneously, usually to the amusement and/or curiosity to those around them at the time.
- The brothers know about "what lies beyond their own world" but usually never speak about it because they know people don't want to hear it and probably wouldn't believe them anyway. (AKA crossing the fourth-wall boundry or talking about "true real life" is in their character, but they know not to do it very often because of the "rules" of the world.)
- Jay and Jeremy have been through a lot of adventures and met a bunch of people. They sometimes like to reminisce about "the old days" even though they are still so young and have so much life ahead of them.
Anything else you guys need me to elaborate on, just let me know! I guess I'll get them into the area now.))

Jay and Jeremy were out for yet another walk in Randomtownville. Where they were going, they didn't know, but they had to get into the story somehow.
"Man, could I go for some coffee," Jay said, feeling a half-craving for some nice warm--or cold--java.
"I dunno, could you?" Jeremy jokingly asked, feeling a similar craving. Just then, they were passing by a coffee shop they had never seen before.
"Armand's Blend, huh?" Jay commented, seeing the wooden sign above the door.
"Hah, seems pretty popular. I remember reading about it in the paper's 'Rising Stars' section detailing local businesses that have opened recently and hit it big or are projected to. Also, there are quite a few people in there," Jeremy explained.
"Yep, seems like a pretty neat place. Shall we go in?" Jay asked, turning towards the door.
"If I were to say 'no', we wouldn't be important characters here, so why don't we see what's up?" Jeremy joked. The brothers turned and headed towards the door. As they entered, they looked around at all the diverse customers the place had, including a black-haired man and a white-haired, mask-wearing man, as well as two people that looked like they just began working here.
As they walked up to the counter, Jay wondered softly, but audibly, "Hm... If I were a coffee blend, which would I be?"
"I want something sweet, kinda-strong, but not too much that it masks the bitterness of the coffee," Jeremy replied, also wondering to himself.
"How about a cake to go with it?" Jay asked, "They have an interesting selection below the counter there..."
"Hm... Yes, a nice cake does sound delicious... so, what to order?" Jeremy replied, figuring he'd let Jay state their order.
"'Scuse me, Mr. Armand I presume?" Jay politely shouted towards Armand, who looked like he was getting his new employees ready, "What sort of drink would you recommend that's... sweet, but not too sweet as to mask the bitterness of the coffee? We're no coffee experts, we just go by what we feel at the time. Anyway, we'd like two of whatever you'd suggest as well as two pieces of that yummy-looking chocolate cake. Thanks!"
"That was well-put... now I wonder if we should wait here or go sit down," Jeremy pondered. The brothers knew this was the start of what was shaping up to be an interesting day.
Thank you for reading. I hope you have a wonderful day.
100% pure Joy.

((Hmm.. Guess my explanation of Jack didn't help you much, eh Ark?))
Armand eventually looked up from his photo and reacted to Larry. "She's my fiancee." He sighed as thought of her. He opened the coffee shop because she liked it so much. He put the photo down and looked to Maya in her outfit. "Good it fits you nicely." He smiled as he got up as if he never saw the picture. He tossed Larry his uniform. "See how that fits you mate." Armand asked as he saw Jay and Jeremy enter and thought this was a good opertunity to let her try her new job. "Maya." Asuming that was her name since everyone called her that. "Would you like to serve these young gentlemen?" He asked. He then stood back so he could watch her and step in if things went horribly wrong.

"Cute? I'd say you're more than cute, young kitten. You look sweeter than the juicy red strawberry that sat on the top of your cake," Godot said. Larry felt a twinge of jealousy.
"Yeah?! Well, I think she looks sweeter than sweet! She looks sweeter than every cake in this place put together!" Larry blurted. And not as fattening. He clenched his fists as Maya hugged the man. He wanted any excuse to leave...
"She's my fiancee," Armand said. "Good. It fits you nicely." Larry felt clothes hit him in the face as he was too distracted to catch the uniform that came flying at him. He gathered it back up. "See how that fits you, mate."
"Yes, sir," Larry said through gritted teeth as he stormed to the bathroom, changing into his uniform furiously.

It's not even two pages long yet! ...Of course, I kid, but seriously nobody's posting? I guess I can understand Lida not wanting to double-post... She's the active one 'round this forum, it seems.))

"M-Maya...?" Jay said, surprised and amazed, "I never thought I'd see HER in person..."
"Hmm? Oh! You've told me about her," Jeremy said, remembering the stories Jay had told him.
"Oh, and Armand?" Jay began to ask, remembering something. "It's nice of you to let Maya serve us, but you haven't even given us your suggestion yet. We need to have that to know what to order so you know what to tell her to make," Jay explained.
"Or... I guess we could decide for ourselves," Jeremy thought aloud. The brothers then began considering drink choices. If Armand doesn't make a suggestion soon, the brothers will decide on one... which they should have probably done in the first place...

((And so it begins... It's been so long since I RP'd these guys in a situation like this that of course nobody would probably understand the backstory, but damn do Jay and Jeremy have quite a bit of it.))

((Sorry- I've tried about 5 times to post but I've been REALLY tired this week and it suddenly got ALOT of writing really fast which stunned me XD I've been slowly catching up on RPs...))

"R... red, is it?" Godot suddenly frowned thoughtfully, not noticing Maya suddenly leap up and give him a tight hug. Jolting in fright, he didn't see or hear her coming. Quickly getting over the initial shock however, Godot's face relaxed, as he was allowed time to settle into the hug.

When he was relaxed enough to start enjoying holding the young lady however, she was summoned to start working by the store owner. Godot held his slight smile as he put his visor back on. Women... it's been so long since this frail body has held a woman close to it... Adjusting the visor so it was sitting perfectly, Godot smirked cheerfully, turning back to his coffee, not before he noticed a pair of brothers sitting just down the bar from him chatting amongst themselves.

"Pardon me," Godot smiled, turning back to Jack, "Now, you said that you watched over me... I assume this was after Redd White..." Godot's smile turned into a forced smirk, as he gripped his cup tensely for a moment, before downing the whole cup of coffee in one sitting. Holding his head back for a moment longer after his cup left his lips, Godot closed his eyes, feeling the hum of the coffees make his body tingle. Taking in a deep breath, Godot opened his eyes once more, "Little does it matter though. White was brought to justice. Only one thing matters now." Swinging his head back forward, Godot's disposition cleared up, turning to Jack, "White wasn't the only guilty part of Wright's murder however. This whole tragedy could've been prevented!" Slamming his fist onto the table top, Godot suddenly regretted drinking his coffee so fast now he didn't have an ample supply following it in case.

((That’s all for now. I don’t think I’ve ignored anyone yet? O.O ))

Maya closed her eyes a moment, remembering his hugs like they use to be. After she was asked to serve the two brothers, she nodded some. She bowed to Godot, turning and walking over to the counter. She figured she'd at least to to sound professional, and remmebered what her drink was. "Oh, how about a nice warm caramel syrup cofee? Those are really delicious~! Uhm, we have iced coffees too, and I'm sure we have almost every coffee flavor, and of course Caffinated, decafe, and half cafe~. What will it be you two?" She smiled, her eye twitching. "Wait, I don't know how to make coffee~!"

(('Sokay, everyone. I was just wondering why this was (slowly) drifting down to the bottom. Dat's all))

"Bingo! DING!" Jay exclaimed, the "ding" like a lightbulb turning on above him, not too suddenly or loudly as to not surprise Maya or capture anyone else's attention, "You must be psychic, young lady, as that's what we were getting ready to suggest ourselves!"
"That settles it! We would like two caramel syrup coffees and two pieces of chocolate cake, please May--I mean, ma'am," Jeremy stated happily.
"Somehow, I figured you'd know what we were going to ask for," Jay said, then sighed and continued, "It's like magic... or something supernatural."
"And it's fine that you don't know how to make coffee," Jeremy said in an attempt to comfort her, "Because we don't know how to either..."
"Haha, I'm sure there are instructions on the coffee container," Jay explained, "And then you just add the syrup... I think..."

((No, really, that caramel syrup coffee was just was I was thinking of. Nice job.))

((Brilliant.))
Larry pouted as he walked out of the bathroom in his new uniform. He smiled when he saw Maya, though.
"How do I look, Maya?" he asked, noticing the brothers at the counter. He vaguely wondered if either of them would try moving on who he considered to be his woman while they were there. He then realized Maya didn't know how to make coffee. Larry stifled a laugh as he walked over.
"I'll handle this. What did they want? I'll bet they wanted some sort of super mega espresso or something like that," he said, nudging Maya playfully.

((Yeah, I was wondering why all these topics were dyin'... but whatevah))

Jay looked over at Larry when he mentioned that he'd handle the brothers' order. He responded, "Nah man, you were close, but we'd actually like two caramel syrup coffees and two pieces of chocolate cake, please."
"Oh, and those are nice uniforms," Jeremy added, "They fit you two quite well." He smiled and then pushed aside a strand of hair that was getting in front of his eye.
"So, what's going on?" Jay asked Larry, trying to start some small-talk, just to get to know the people in the shop.
Thank you for reading. I hope you have a wonderful day.

Time for my OC to make an entrance!

Spoiler: Profile
Name: Abigail Granger
Age: 27
Occupation: Homicide Detective
Appearance: Dirty brown hair, dark blue eyes, usually wears a pink trenchcoat

Abigail slowly walked into the coffee shop, tucking her files under arm. She had to work on a murder case and she decided that she would work better under the friendly setting of the cafe.

She walked up to Armand and placed her order. "Um, may I have a cup of black coffee and a piece of chocolate cake?" she asked in her usual, indifferent, bored, tone.

"Not much going on around here, dude," Larry said as he smiled widely, going over to the coffee maker. It was then he realized he had no clue what he was doing. He covered it up very well, though. At least, he thought he did, putting the coffee beans into the pot and turned it on. As the coffee started pouring into the pot, an angelic, dull voice said something.
"Um, may I have a cup of black coffee and a piece of chocolate cake?" Larry seized the opportunity.
"Of course you can," he said. "It's coming right up, ma'am, dude."

Abigail rolled her eyes to herself as Larry went to make the coffee. She had a bad feeling about having this guy take her order, but she shrugged it off. She needed caffine, and now. In the meantime, she wandered over to the couch, took a seat, and began working on some of her case files.

"And, while you're at it, some dark coffee with extra sugar, please," some random man that Larry didn't recognize said.
"Right away, dude," Larry said, doing his traditional thumbs-up sign. Naturally, he completely ignored Jay and Jeremy's order and, as soon as the coffee was made, brought the cup and chocolate cake over to Abigail.
"Here you go, Sweet cheeks," Larry said, placing her order on the table in front of the couch. "I'd love to chat, but I have a lot of work to do." He winked at Abigail and walked back behind the counter.

Maya nodded some, her smile wide since she was right. As Larry started making the coffee, she leant over the counter and looked at Jay. "So, you guys think I'm awesome now? Like, I read your mind...?" She turned over and watched Larry give Abigail her stuff, calling her sweet cheeks. "H-Hey!" As Larry walked around the counter, Maya grabbed him. "Hey, you can flirt with some chick, but I can't hug a guy? Hmph, I'll finish serving everyone, just make the coffee!" She huffed, going over to one of the coffee machines and making two cups, then put some caremal creamer in, then some caremal syrup, just guessing on what she was suppose to do. She brought the cups to the brothers and got two small plates out, then two forks, and places a piece of cake on each plate. "Here we are~"

Larry's smile faded for a fraction of a second. Then, he put on his characteristically huge smile.
"Now we're even," he said, giving her a thumbs-up. "I won't do anything like that again, okay, Maya? All I did was serve her coffee and compliment her. I swear I would have done that for any other customer." In a totally non-gay way. He finished making the last cup of coffee and waited for Maya to come back around to get it. He wondered if she even listened to him, considering her back was to him and she was facing Jay and Jeremy.

Abigail rolled her eyes to herself at Maya and Larry's discussion as she took a large sip of coffee and an equally large bite of cake. She quickly set to work on her case files since she had to get those papers to Prosecutor Edgeworth immediately.

"Thanks, miss!" The brothers said simultaneously, taking the cups and the plates. After realizing what they'd done, they smiled sheepishly.
"Haha. By the way, how much will that cost?" Jay asked inquisitively. The brothers lifted their cups and took a good whiff of the coffee, which smelled... good. Not perfect, but a welll-made cup of coffee. Then they took a small sip of the steaming substance. ((Unintentional alliteration for the win.)) The coffee was a bit weak, but overall had a solid taste. They figured they'd give their full report after each one had finished his cup. They smiled as they lowered their mugs, though, overall satisfied with the initial taste.

((Sorry- I'm a little behind RP wise cause I'm currently doing 5+ coffees a day to keep myself awake, so my concentration is SCREWED. Sadly, I don't have Godot's constitution T.T I'm gonna have to have some early nights befoer te coffee stops me sleeping all together. :( ))

Godot bolted his face to the direct to the mechanic as he took him by surprise. Atleast he didn't wear red like everyone else in the shop. He was still feeling flushed getting Maya's new work clothes wrong...
Spotting the mechanic, Godot gave a smirk, rolling his coffee mug around it's base rhythmically.

"The firey depths of hell gifted me with it," Godot replied darkly, picking up the mug, and thrusting it in Larry's direction, "Black coffee."

((Omg... I'm sorry. I can't think of an awesome mask metaphor to say here and I don't have anything else to work off ^^; Could you give him something to talk to him about? It's a little challenging to work up a reason for Godot to work in a conversation with someone at the moment. I havent' had enough sleep T.T Sorry))

Maya smiled some and bowed to Jay and Jeremy, but as they asked how much, she pointed to Larry. "He can tell you!" She stepped over to one of the coffee machines. "I'll make you that black coffee!" She got some of the coffee beans down and stuck them in the bean grinder, facinated with it. Afterwards, she poured it in the machine, then put water in it. By the time it finished, she gulped. "I put three times as many coffee beans than I'm suppose to..Uhh.." She kept that to herself and poured the coffee into the cup, taking it to Godot. "Here you are, I hope it's good!"

"Aw, come on, Maya. I swear, I would have done that to any of my customers. I'll even show you," Larry said. He walked over to Jay and Jeremy and gulped. I have to do this or Maya will think I was hitting on that girl. I was, but I can't stand her being mad at me...
"Hey, Sweet cheeks!" he said to Jay and Jeremy loud enough for Maya to hear. "That'll be $2.50 each. Or maybe I'll just make one of your orders on the house." He winked suggestively at Jeremy and gave him the thumbs-up sign.

"Ah, you don't have to do that," Jay commented, then leaned in a bit closer to whisper, "I doubt she's even watching anyway, dude, just move on."
"Yeah, she's busy serving the others. You don't have to embarrass yourself, man," Jeremy added, doing a small thumbs-up of his own.
Jay pulled out a five from his wallet, laid it on the counter, and said "Aquí, cinco dolores. Muchas gracias, mi amigo."

As Abigail gobbled up her chocolate cake (she had a very empty stomach), a few crumbs escaped and landed on the papers in her lap--the very important papers. She tried brushing them off the papers, but the crumbs left brown chocolatey streaks all over the paper!

"Crap!" she hissed aloud. Prosecutor Edgeworth was not going to like this at all when he got the papers.

She set down her plate and took another sip of coffee. But a bit of the coffee sloshed out of the cup and onto the papers, completely soaking them in coffee. Abigail groaned "NOOO!!!!" Prosecutor Edgeworth was going to kill her.

"What am I going to do now?" she lamented out loud, not caring if anyone heard.
