Karoline sighed she pulled her headband down and began Spraying. Blood appeed arounf the victim as usal but there was a diffrence.
There was a small handprint by the body.
"It doesnt seem to fit! The hand print is the wrong way around!" She checked the over side and there was one more oddly placed print,
"My guess is either the Victim or the Murderer moved the body, but thats just stating the obivous. What about turning the body over anyone?"

Howl laughed a bit. "Good. And no, I had to cut all retrivency of all cameras to review every single one. This place is too cheap to acquire individually minded cameras." He spun in his chair, to face Sheila. "And by the way, before accusations and what not are thrown about in regard to the murderer, I never left this chair, and have no loaded weapons on me as we speak." He spun back to the monitors. "Lemme' see if by some off chance that I didn't cut every camera. What sector of the was the dude killed in?"

"The logical conclstion is that the Killer moved the body since by the looks of thing it would have been an instantous death. And in all my Years in England a moved body gernally means the killer did it. Did we fin any ID on him? I think that is what the killer might eb after or Revenge whitch brings me to the next oint JD , From what i'v read and studied wouldn't have uch of a motive let alone to build a case on. I know about this guy is the killer so unless somone ordered an Assain i'm almost 70% sure it could be one of us."

"As for turning the victim's body over, maybe he was trying to get something out from under the body? Could be that he had something in his hands or in his coat..." He put his gun back in it's holster. "Once we can get an ID we can find out what he was doing here..."

Portia looked down at the wallet she'd found in the dead man's jacket. "There's a credit card and an organ donor card.... but the names have been scratched off. Which strikes me as odd, because after all, isn't it a prerequisite of using a credit card that it has your name on? Speaking of motives, we need to figure out if anybody here had any connection to this man."

He scanned through multiple screens and landed on Sector 'S'. He piled through the video and found the time matching his watch. He rewound it back about 5 minutes and pressed play. Howl gave the obviously play-by-play of the video. "So a guy walks in, and is about to pull something from his pocket, and is shot. Way too simple, but that's all I can tell from this video. A shot was fired that we all heard. Since there is no person within the camera's view, we have to assume he was shot from outside the sector, which would be the ones near 'S', which would be the lobby, the 3rd Hallway where everyone is currently at, and this room. Obviously, I didn't kill him, and there was nobody in the lobby last time I checked, so he had to of been shot from the Hallway, No?"

The only question is, what was in his pocket that someone would shoot him before he had a chance to get it out? "We've only checked his inside jacket pockets, why not search the rest?" Portia considered. "Hmmm... I have an idea. Blue ink and black ink use different pigments- if there was some way to separate the two inks out, we might be able to read what was written underneath, if indeed there was anything there to begin with." There was something about the dead man that looked slightly familiar, but she pushed those thoughts to one side.

"I don't know what the oringal writing was in. I think it was black aswell. I can't see no colour alterations. Whoever this guy was was Careful as hell. I place my money on that he wanted to burn the note! We have to find put what it had on it. Black mail ? The victim was blackmailed? The chances of that may be slim but are rising.

"Or maybe he was killed because he was becoming a liability. Sheila recognised him as the man who tried to kill her- perhaps he was seen once too many times. It's a long shot, but maybe it's possible we're not just looking for one Prosecutor Killer here." Portia said, turning over the hypothesis in her mind for any flaws. Although it was a possible motive, it still didn't bring them any closer to guessing who had killed the man lying dead on the floor before them.

Mordichai looked at the bullet hole, "I'm going to guess it's a .22 derringer. It's a small pistol, easy to hide, while still enough to do some damage. That being said .22 is mostly used to kill small animals. A man could probably stand up to it." He muttered, "Of course Jack Diamond did kill a werewolf with one so..."

Howl sighed, and stood from his chair. Their questioning was redundant, and he wanted to end the pointless circle. He stepped into the group and blatantly stated, "So far, none of you have come up with a feasible motive or process of the murder. All you've done is talk each other into freaking circles. First, check the angle of the bullet wound plus the insert residue, and at what elevation it's at to his feet, assuming he was not levitating like I'm sure any of you would have eventually hypothesized. After doing so, check the shape and angle of fall in according to his height, then recreate the scene. At least that way we can determined the exact point he was shot, the minimal height of the killer, and possibly gives us a clue of which way the murderer was traveling."

The victim comes in here with some items that idicate a blackmail,
The Killer who's taller and Knows he was here shoots at him, The bullet is presicly aimed therefore the Killer was a perfessional. He was also taller.

Portia half-smiled, she'd forgotten how abrasive Howl could be. "Fine then, let's talk this through logically." she said. She slid her arms beneath the body and rolled it over to examine the point of bullet entry.
"The bullet entered the body just below the shoulder. From the rapidity of death, we can assume a major artery was severed or similar, causing internal bleeding. The initial entry doesn't really tell us much though, it's the path the bullet took inside the body that can tell us the angle it came from." She broke off and bent closer to better examine the wound.
"And Karoline, if the killer shot from the hallway, it's nigh on impossible for the bullet to have entered downwards. It looks as though it entered at roughly a 45-degree angle. The poor guy didn't have a chance"

"Nope. The angle of the gun. Tell me that, and I can tell you in what relation he was to the victim. Sounds crazy, no? If it's flat to the entrance, the gun held level, he had time, and was aiming. If it was at a negative degree to the door, he was doing it out of speed, and he didn't converse with said target. If it's at a positive degree, then the gun was held at an awkward angle, meaning there was a slight struggle. And yeah, I do think I can come in here and boss people around. Maybe not ideal, but I get the job done."

That man...Maybe he deserved to die. Some people do. But I can't even...I can barely concentrate when I'm in there. Maybe it's best if I can notice something on the tapes. Something that connects these cases...That can point us to who did this.

"There's no physical evidence of a struggle, so it looks as though the positive angle is ruled out. The bullet seems a little too well-placed for it to have been poorly aimed though, seeing as it managed to target his vitals so effectively. Or that could just be down to practice."

Howl rubbed his chin. "What if the assailant's assailant held the gun upward at the victim's chest? He couldn't struggle for the fear of him getting shot, which he was killed anyways. How would that work out with the bullet wound? Any contradictions?"

However, if we were to reverse it, so that the assailant was pressing the gun into the victim's back, that might be a possibility."

(I left a few hours and you write a novel, God!)

Too much information in few minutes, he was a prosecutor, who was been blackmailed by the killer and the the real murderer escaped in front of our eyes. There was something that dind't fit in here, and he was sure that the clue wasn't in the room anymore.

"Is something missing in the office? files? cards? tapes?" he asked crossing his arms watching the victim's prosecutor badge in his hand, somehow... he doesn't want that anybody sees that thing so he put it in his pants pocket.

"We can easily rule out the fact that the killer had time to clean up the mess, since someone immediately ran here to see the victim, so it would be foolish to use luminol. Was there any visible blood stains or even the smallest trace of blood?"

"There wasn't all that much bleeding, it was mainly internal." Portia explained. "Therefore, the killer wouldn't really have needed to clear up much blood, since by flipping over the body, most of the blood would be hidden from sight."

Howl's eye lit up. "J.D. has a point. What if no one was truly shot here? Blanks sound just as real as a true bulle-- but why stage a shooting here? Maybe to attract one of our attentions, like, he knew we were here to look for the victim..." Howl paced. "I've got an idea. Portia, stand about a foot beside the corpse."

"Yeah, thanks for the attention buddy" He rolled up his eyes and watch the corpse again. He grinned then, again and oddly this was being transformed in a funny riddle. He smiled at Portia and then looks the body "He was already dead, it's the only fact that makes sense."
