"How can such a thing of beauty live in a place like this?"
Zues was happy to finally enter the actual town. He was amazed that the warehouse somehow got enveloped in the time stop, despite it being on the very outskirts.

Her plane was rather big but not commercial airline big.
at first glance there didn't seem to be anything wrong with the plane it'self but on closer inspection he could see some dents in the engine fuselage.

the same criteria for this engine applied to that of certain boats.

She sat cross-legged in the exact centre of her cell and began to flip through the accounts of the crimes. Until then, they'd seen no pattern in the disappearances, but Kimiko knew that couldn't be the case. Whoever's doing this is as clever as me. Maybe even more so. She studied the profiles of the first two victims. This all began when time stopped. Maybe.... Deciding to test her theory, Kimiko looked at the ages of the victims. 32 and 28. And what did they add up to? 60. And how many minutes were there in an hour? 60. Using the same method, she discovered, the killer had currently gotten down to number 49. Kimiko felt inordinately pleased with herself. I suppose it really does take one to know one.

Zues looked at Scarlet again. He knew that too much detail to people he just met could land him in a lot of trouble so he made it as vague as possible.
"Killed a few people, and that's it. A bit boring, but it was my hardest case. It was my whole team's hardest."
They finally got the station in sight.

"Ah yes," said the man who burst in. "My name is David Keene."
Then he went on about books h had written.
"Yeah, my daughter was a fan of your's. She disappeared, you know. That's why I'm still doing this shift. Because even being at reception helps slightly to the cause."

Just managing to refrain from rolling her eyes at the obvious vagueness of Zues’ explanation, Scarlet grinned up at him. “Oh I see, it’s top secret. That’s fine, wouldn’t want to get you in trouble. She squeezed on his arms reassuringly as they approached the station, letting go before they mounted the steps.

Lucas harrumphed in annoyance, sweeping his fringe to the side and peering over the top of his book at the phone. Groaning, he placed a bookmark meticulously in its place before reaching for the phone and answering irritably. "Hello?" The phone had interrupted his reading, so he didn't care if he sounded rude to whoever was on the other end. Not that it would be anyone other than Zues anyway.

It was the first time that Scarlet had been in anything law related since the time stop, so she looked around the small reception in interest. It was unremarkable, exactly what one would expect of a typical police station. Sighing through her nose, she raised an arm above her head to play with the red strands. No chance of information from here while Zues is still suspicious.

Kimiko put her hands on her hips and shot Zues her best wicked smile. "I don't think so. You want the case files, I have one condition. You let me out. Not let me go, let me out. Just until your shift ends- you can handcuff me or whatever you want to make sure I don't get away. But I've been stuck in this box for three months straight not including the time stoppage and I want to go outside before I die."
She didn't appreciate being called scum particularly but she supposed it was only fair. Even Mr Ace Detective hadn't managed to figure out her motive.
"And secondly, I'm perfectly aware how many people I've killed, who they were and how tiresome it was to dispose of the bodies. But that does not give you the right to look down on me. After all, once the Chief gets tired of keeping me here, it'll be my blood on your hands. You're just as much of a killer as I am."

He was starting to get the handcuffs when she said: "You're jsut as much of a killer as I am."
Zues paused. No, it's not true! That one time in the past was on accident, and she knows it! And I wouldn't be the one killing her! I just caught her! She's killed 13 people for apparently no reason, while I've killed no-one directly! What the crap?
"...I won't be your executioner and even if I as, I wouldn't be as bad as you. You killed 13 seemingly innocent people, while I've killed none. You shouldn't have killed those people, and if you hadn't, we'd be equal on every ground. I'll let you out, but I'm keeping even closer guard on you just for that, jerkwad. Remember, you have no rights in prison."
He opened the cell door and quickly handcuffed Kimiko, He then took out his gun, and put a coat over Kimiko.
"We can't let you be seen."
Finally, he unlocked the room's door and nudged Kimiko to walk out.
"Your last few moments of freedom. You won't get long, and it'll be under supervision, but it's the best I can do."

Kimiko sighed. "I promise I won't run away. And thanks. I know you don't think I'm capable of any human emotion but....this means a lot to me."
She felt the fresh air hit her full in the face and took a deep breath. It had been so very long since she'd been outside. So very long since she'd done anything really. The urge to immediately go back on her promise and run as fast as she could gripped Kimiko. Though she'd be shot for sure, surely that would be better than waiting to be hanged or lethally injected or whatever the hell they were planning to do to her.
Unexpectedly, Kimiko felt tears surfacing on her eyelashes and bit her lip to hold them back.
No. You don't cry. Kimiko Takahashi does not cry. Not ever.

She turned her back on him, albeit with some difficulty. "The world is a terrible place with or without me. People are going to hate each other no matter what anyone does-I might even hate you so much that I like you. But that would never do, would it? In fact anything that might possibly force you to question your precious justice would be totally unacceptable. Look at the world, Zues. There is no such thing as justice." she finished bitterly.
((It'll be hard for me to RP Kimiko if she's going to be stuck in her isolation cell all the time- maybe we could find a way for her to be allowed out? There's only so many monologues I can write before it gets tedious
