"H-help me!" She cried out, reliving the memories of THAT day.
Her usually calm demenor had been broken by nothing more than a flash of gunpowder igniting. Yet in those few precious seconds she had given these unknown men a glimpse into what she feared most. She cowered from the man with the gun, even as she heard his apology escape his lips.
It was then she noticed 2 more men had joined the 'party'.

Yuri took a step back as the shot was fired. "Whoa now, careful with that. We don't want any more frightened people, do we?"
He noticed many people around him, but his trained eye caught the sight of two individuals who needed him. He crouched down beside Alicia and stretched out his hand, saying: "Are you okay?" He immediately knew that something was wrong. "I think it's a psychological reaction, I'll need some help over here!"
Yuri didn't have time to make the proper introductions to the two newcomers, he had to ensure that Alicia was safe first.

Akilla's eyes caught sight of two more people, but as the shot rang out, he jumped. Covering his ears in fear, he fell to his knees. All he could see was another who had fallen over. However, as much as they wanted to, his legs wouldn't move.

"I-i'm ok..." She stuttered before taking her cane and the hand that had been offered to her.
She climbed to her feet before thanking Yuri for his help. She turned to Alex.
"You should be more careful where you point that thing."
She held out her free hand, hoping that the simple gesture of shaking hands would not be enough to inflict that torturous burning sensation.
"Let me try one more time. I'm Alicia Brookes and i have no idea how the hell i got here."
She looked between the men. Each of them looked as clueless as she did. She sighed. Alicia had hoped she would find some answers, but nobody looked to be any more clued in than she did. Her eyes lingered on the 2 new men that had arrived.
Am i the only woman in this place?

She rapped her cane on the floor, mapping a mental image of the corridor surrounding them.
"Its not very bright in here. And if, as you say, danger is coming our way, we will indeed need to work together. Count me in."
Alicia offered her hand to Akilla and Alex. Now was a good time for introductions, after all, she sumised, we could all be relying on each other in the near future. She turned to the 2 new arrivals.
As Alicia went to speak she heard the piercing scream again.
"This way." She called. Using her cane to indicate a direction.
"Something tells me we should move away from that scream."

"Oh my... I'm sorry, I was just thinking. My name is Joseph Sullivan... so you're Alex, Yuki, Akilla Abel and Alicia, right?" He said as he looked at each one of them.
"I'm sorry for that really, it's not that I'm afraid... just worried about what does this mean" He walked a few steps and spoke again.
"Think about it, let's say we were kidnapped. As for me I don't remember anything after work. But it's all to weird, for starters the pain, the watches and the tattoos. If I'm not mistaken it's intended to be some sort of weapon. However I'm just guessing..."
He realised he was talking to much so he stood silent and looked at his "partners" waiting for a reply.

Yuri looked at Alicia and agreed. "Yes, it seems primary functions are okay, what a relief. I have to say though, those glasses of yours along with that cane fascinates me. I'd love to hear more about them later."
"Since we're working together, I highly suggest none of us underestimate each other. We all have our fears and our problems from the past; doesn't mean any of us are useless." Yuri said, still worried about the screaming and the safety of his newfound allies.
He turned to Joseph and said: "It's good to meet you, Joseph. It's Yuri, actually. Hard to remember, I know. I don't believe we were kidnapped, we seem to still hold all of our weapons along with these new powers. I think something bigger is in play, but right now we need to worry about our safety."
Yuri didn't want to disagree with Alicia's plan but he thought he'd make the suggestion anyways. "If we keep running, it'll keep chasing us. Considering that we all have fears residing in this place, it'd only obstruct our progress. I say we stand up against it, who's in?"

Akilla knew that these people were not out to hurt him. However, his natural instinct still caused him to be nervous. "T-thanks, Alex." he said, relieved that his gun was not intended to be aimed at him. He decided to greet everyone there as best as he could.

Were the screams getting louder? She gripped her cane tightly. She felt uneasy about this whole situation. Something however tugged at her memory.
"I remember whilst i made my way here. Someone was talking about fire?"
She shuddered at the thought of a blazing fire surrounding them. But her sense prevailed over her fear and she realised that maybe this fire they were talking about would provide and extra means of light for them. After all it was no mean feat making introductions in near darkness.

"Stand up to this, huh? That's a new idea. However I have nothing against it, this suggestion should not be ruled out. There's a problem though, we have no idea what we are standing against. Then again, we also have no idea how to escape this place."
Abel stopped talking, and waited to hear what the rest of the group says.
"Hmmm, I'm not sure if we should run. It is quite an obvious idea, but we have no clues of a way out."
After a couple of seconds, an idea came into Abel's mind.
"Well, to avoid any arguments, perhaps we should stand up to these fears, while looking for a way to get out of here. What are your thoughts on this?"

"I guess now's a good time to inform everyone of what I know about the wristwatches. It seems like it records any of the spells we use so we can use it later. Snapping the fingers of your dominant hand seems to activate the spell, but what I don't know is how to learn new attacks. I can say that I was thinking about fire when I first acquired the fire spell."
Yuri looked at his companions. "Now who here wants to stand, and fight? My strengths are close combat and planning tactics. If I'm surrounded I'll have a hard time defending myself. We'll have to assess our strengths and weaknesses before charging in."

"Well, looking at the fact that this sword was specially made for me, I guess I'm considered skilled at this weapon. I like to think things through before I act, and I'm not the type that goes to the gym every single day of my life. If I had two fears, it would definitely be snakes and fire," described Abel, of what he could think of at the moment.
"You do make a point, Alex. Even though we are limited to our fighting capabilities, running away isn't any better. And also, even if we do get out of here, what if our dangers follow us? Running for now isn't a bad idea, but it won't last forever."

The watch on her wrist beeped. "Ice. Skill recorded."

"We were obviously given these skills for a reason and I don't think we're going to be able to avoid a fight forever. My weaknesses are bright lights, particularly if they flash, and being physically restrained or held captive. In other words being tied up and things of that nature. However, I am able to wield my cane efficiently, well maybe not so efficently with this hand..." She looked down at her left hand, noting how strange it felt to be grasping her cane with it. "Also over the years i have honed a keen sense of hearing and have trained myself with basic sonar skills, and my watch just told me i have ice as a skill. Not quite sure what that means."
Alicia, awkwardly attempted to twirl her cane around her left hand. She failed. The cane went crashing to the floor. She went to pick it up only to stop mid way.
"There's someone else here." She said looking up.
She picked up her cane and struck it against the floor again. Thats when she heard it. Another person calling.
"Hello!" She heard the voice say.
"Hello! Are you ok?" She called back, remembering the comfort she felt at hearing she wasn't alone, surely whoever this was would feel the same way. She turned back to the rest of the group.
"Akilla, i think you may be right. If we stay and fight now, without knowing anything about what we're facing, i don't think we have a good chance. Yuri i get the feeling we are definately going to need to fight our way out of this situation. But maybe we should figure out what the hell is going on first. I mean, i don't know about any of you but, its going to take some practise for me to get used to fighting left handed."
As she looked around the men in the group before her, it struck her just how young they all were. She must have been at least 10-15 years older than most of them. It was at that realisation Alicia felt suddenly protective over the young men. It was stupid, yes, they clearly didn't need protecting, but none the less she made a slient promise to herself.
I'll make sure they all make it out of here alive.

He didn't know what to think... right about every second, another person walked into the party... he couldn't avoid to think this was way too weird. The screams were starting to get unnerving now. As much as Alicia wished she could believe the shrieks were just another overly frightened captive, she couldn't shake the feeling of impending danger. She struck the floor with her cane again. More for reassurance than anything else. For the short distance she could hear, no-one else was approaching. So they were safe, for now. She turned to Alex.
"Considering none of us have the slightest clue where we are, i think supplies are going to be a major issue."
Alicia checked the pockets of skirt suit she was wearing. She had been abducted on the way home from work. She had to admit it wasn't the most sensible attire considering the circumstances, but it would have to do.
She sighed.
"By the looks of it they've taken everything except our clothes and weapons. I really think we should move. The longer we stand here the longer something unpleasant has to find us. We're going to need to find food and ammuntion for Alex anyway. Might as well get ourselves as prepared as possible before tacking the unknown."

The repetitive scream kept yelling, and it had been echoing around the halls.
"We should go now, there's nothing that can stop us from talking while walking. Going away from the scream will be the best choice, we don't even know if that scream concerns us."

Akilla knew one thing for sure, he wasn't ready to face whatever was causing the screaming. "I-I agree, let's run for now." he said nervously, and began to follow Yuri closely. Being a fast sprinter, he was able to easily keep up.

Alicia took the first few tentative steps down the unexplored corridor following Yuri and Akilla, feeling it was best to start moving before answering Alex's question.
"My story? I served as a submariner for 20 years, working the sonar. I left when I had my son. 5 years ago on my son's 11th birthday, my family was involved in an....incident. I've been forced to wear these glasses ever since. Now i work for a communications developer. As for my cane, it was a gift from my father when i was young. What about your story? Or anyone elses for that matter?"
Alicia rythmically struck her cane on the floor as she walked creating a mental image of the path ahead of her. She didn't think it was possible, but she could have sworn it was getting darker.

She turned her head so she could see Frank.
"Welcome to the group Frank. Its a shame we had to meet in these circumstances."
Alicia looked at the young necromancer, he looked uneasy with the rest of the group.
"I know you're unsure of us right now, but you can trust us. We're all in this together, and we'll all get through it together." Her tone was reassuring yet confident.
She called out ahead.
"Yuri! Akilla!" She'd always been good with names. Like Alex she hoped the 2 men hadn't gone off ahead too far. Reliving her story, no matter how briefly, had brought back terrifying memories. Her own family had been brutally slaughtered in the incident 5 years ago. She decided it was better to leave that detail out, thus refering to is as 'that incident'. Alicia had no idea how she'd managed to escape the bloodbath, but now, here she was. She'd failed to protect her son and her husband, but she wouldn't fail these young men. No matter what the cost.
Again she called ahead to the 2 men that had run off. She was worried, though she didn't show it. She'd never been good at showing emotions. she hoped they would anwser soon.
