Blake walked into the room that was slowly filling itself with people. He clutched the brown paper sack in the hand at his side and waited patiently for someone to notice his presence. When Mr. Gavin's eyes rolled over to him he greeted them with a smile.
"I got that information you wanted." He said as he tossed the bag over, then flashed that million dollar smile to the other two. He even tipped his hat to Lin.

Klavier looked at the flask and shook his head. "Kein Danke. I make it a habit not to drink before a trial." He pulled the golden hair resting on his forehead forward thoughtfully, and let it drop gracefully back in postion before responding to the question posed to him.

"You see, mein Fraülein was feeling jämmerlich because of her sister. So, I thought a case might cheer her up, ja? She's sehr nervous, though..."

Klavier shrugged and let out a quiet chuckle. "Has to learn to walk on her own two feet, nein?"

Edan ruffled his sister's hair. "Aha ha, don't worry petit pois. ...anyone, around that I can annoy? Aha!" He proceeded to bound towards the confused looking baliff to talk about how quickly he could drive a train while eating a Mars bar.

"You know, doing so much work for you is starting to teach me German..." He said briefly before making his real statement. "If you taught her then she'll be fine I'm sure." He smiled brightly. "And that information I dug up is a real whopper too. If she breaks it out at the right time, he'll break quicker than a corkboard table with a fat chick sitting on it."

"It's a good experience for all, ja? Ha, thought so. Let's join unsere Freunde back out in die lobby." Klavier opened the door and allowed his guest to leave first. He stayed for a few seconds, fixing his hair and followed Blake. His smile faded at the sight of the distraught Linali.

"Ohhh, Fraülein needs a piggy back ride!" He sped over before she could scamper away in terror and threw her up on his back. "So tell me, Lin. What's wrong?"

Linali yelped as the ground disappeared from beneath her feet, and kicked about for a few seconds in surprise. For a moment, she'd thought she'd fallen over yet again, but didn't feel any better when she realised she hadn't. (After all, she might have hit her head or something, causing a concussion, excusing her from this godforsaken trial.) Now knowing that there was no escape, she reluctantly attempted to sound as calm as possible without throwing up half her guts.
"Mr. Gavin, I do not think that this is appropriate behaviour. Please put me down."
Her own eyebrows raised at the sound of her voice. It was several octaves higher than usual.
Apparently, she wasn't any good at being calm. Oh snap.

Blake was a bit of a trial addict, so he always hung around to watch the cases. Mr. Gavin's fraülein was sure to be entertaining. He could already hear her feeble attempts at objecting in the back of his dusky mind. The large smile on his face turned somewhat genuine as the mental picture of her got a bit clearer. She'd lift her hand halfway into the air like a nervous schoolgirl and give the judge a sheepish smile. He'd never actually seen Lin perform in the courtroom, but he was rarely ever wrong about people. This was part of the reason he was always so willing to help the playful prosecutor Klavier Gavin despite his deep hatred for others in the profession. His smile faded if for only a few seconds while his thoughts traveled back in time to places he didn't wish it to go. He closed his eyes, shook his head, and took out his canteen for another swig.

Klavier laughed and slid her off his back. "Ja, probably not. But still Linali, you've got to loosen up. You're all tense! Stretched over daz huft!" He smiled as he saw her wobble to the nearest sofa and sit down.

Edan was finished tormenting the bailiff, who'd angrily waved him away after Edan kicked him in the shin. Rolling his eyes, he'd been wondering to himself when she was going to burst in. With a heavy sigh at being resigned to sitting on his ass without ANYTHING to do, he flopped down on the sofa Linali had plonked down on, resting his head on her thigh.

Linali could almost sense Edan's boredom in the air, and was glad of it. It made her feel a bit more calm at least. Instead of dwellng on the trial at hand, her mind wandered to how the sofa was really stiff and rather uncomfortable, and she patted Edan's head mindlessly. She jumped when the double doors to the room slammed open once again, and the poor bailiff got knocked rudely to one side.
Scarlet pattered in, boucing along with more energy than anyone else on the premises, and swerved almost immediatly to face in Linali and Edan's direction, as if she had an inbuilt radar. Upon seeing them pawled on the sofa at the side of the room, a grin slowly sreteched across her face. Ignoring the bailiff's protests (It was questionable as to whether she even noticed anyone else was there excluding her targets), she charged over and leant forward, her hands on her hips, mahogany hair strewn across her shoulders.
"Hell~o my siblings!"

Edan fucking shit himself when Scarlet "nonchalantly" burst into the room, and sat poker upright. Seeing her again brought mixed emotions. She was Scarlet, his sister after all. But still, she was Scarlet. She could be a proper demon when she wanted, last thing Lin need on her big day.

"What is with the mood in here?! You'd think it was a morgue!" Scarlet fanned herself, bottom lip sticking out, as if it were stifling. "And why the long faces?! You're obviously going to win, sister of mine, and if you don't..." Her expression darkened for a moment. "... Well, I'll get them." She beamed.
Linali seemed rather unfazed on the whole by Scarlet's behaviour- she was used to it, but still cautious. Her lip quivered in response, and she could feel her eyes water slightly; she'd been reminded once more. Not to mention that her twin's presence wasn't exactly... Comforting. It would be horrendously embarassing to have her watching in court.
"Uhhm, well, I umm..."
Scarlet's face dropped again, but this time, she didn't grin, just remained deadpan.
"... Stop mumbling. Don't be silly, it'll be quite alright, I'm sure..." She muttered offhandedly, one eye tightening.

Blake watched the sweet scene from his dark little corner while listening to Klavier ramble. He'd learned some time ago how to observe without being noticed, but the appearance of Scarlet caused him to squirm against his wall. She was as pretty and sunny as a daisy in spring, but something about her bothered him. Of course, in his experiance, pretty girls were always something to fear.

Scarlet's head turned mechanically to the side to look at Klavier. Her face smoothed out for a brief moment as she straightened her back, processing the german.
"Are you blind?! We are twins, Mr..."
Her nose wrinkled and she scowled in slight disapproval.
"Blonde. And wipe that ridiculous smile off your face. And don't call my sister 'Fraülein'. She's not five years old."
She looked him up and down in distaste, before turning back to Edan and Linali, the latter of which had buried her face in her hands.
"Linny, who is this chump?!"
"... Mrfl." Linali moaned, and Scarlet let out a sharp breath of annoyance.

Scarlet looked from Klavier, to Edan, then finally to Linali, who was looking at her brother with confusion. Then in one, swift, and what would have been a highly impressive move in a different situation, Scarlet had swiped the thickest, heaviest file from Linali's side and clouted her across the head with it, nearly knocking her off the sofa. She then span around to Klavier, hopped a step back, and threw said file with as much force as she could at his crotch.

Klavier barely had to time to react and before he realised it, he'd been smacked in der Bockmist and collapsed to the ground in a tirade of pain. "FICH! FICH! SCHIEß!" Holding ...himself... he limped to the nearest sofa and sat down gently, breathing deeply.

Edan was laughing at the clearly suffering German. Annoying people really was fun. Still, he'd want to watch his step now. Scarlet could castrate him with a fucking spoon.

Scarlet sucked in a deep breath through her nostrils, looking furious and quite terrifying.
"Don't think you're getting off, brother dearest. That terminology was vulgar. I'll talk to you later."
Linali wobbled precariously, seeing black spots before her eyes, and slowly began to register what her extremely lovely twin had just done, and rose to her feet. She was still rather out of it, and now had a thumping headache. She'd forgotten quite how strong Scarlet was.
"Sorry bou' 'er, Mr Gav'n..." She slurred, teetering, and Scarlet snorted.
"I'm not. AHA HA HA!"

Linali was now shockingly pale, but seemed a little brighter after soiling the plants. Scarlet was staring blankly at Klavier with a silly smile on her face, plotting something. Linali knew that look all too well, and with her mind now a little clearer, she crossed over to Scarlet and swiftly guided her to the doors.
"You're going to be late for work, Carly!"
"Hey, you're right. These trial things certainly take a while, don't they?!" The older twin grinned once more. "I suppose I'll see you all later..." She added, eyes flitting to Klavier. 'I'll get him.'

Blake slipped about in the back of the group for most of the action. He was a bit too good at not being noticed until he wanted to be, and in the case of women like Scarlet that was exactly his intent. He had no intention of speaking until she was out of the building completely, but once she was his bright smile returned and it was like turning on a lamp that shattered the darkness he'd been hiding in.
"I think you did rather well, Ms. Blake." He said kindly and tipped his hat to her again. "Prosecutors don't mind their manners enough these days if you ask me." He pulled a silver canteen from his coat, but frowned for a second when he realized it was empty. He didn't usually empty the whole thing before the day was through. Of course it had been a particularly tough one. "You know what might help your nerves some?" He put the canteen back. "Whenever the defense starts acting intimidating just picture them in a very silly hat. When you start giggling they'll get flustered, think you have something up those pretty sleeves of yours. It's always good to make them think you have an ace in the hole." Blake could hardly believe he was giving advice to a prosecutor of all people. Perhaps it was because he'd just finished his bottle of scotch. Or maybe she was just too cute for him to think of her as evil. Whatever the reason when he looked her in the eyes he felt the need to try and comfort her...maybe she was more dangerous than her sister after all.

Linali looked to Blake thoughtfully, and one could immediatly assuming that she was testing his theory.

She announced with great seriousness, nodding to herself in agreement to her own statement. Apparently, she hadn't thought of a silly hat at all, but had just imagined an extention of his fedora...
"... Thanks for the advice, but wouldn't giggling in court be rude? I mean... If someone laughed at me I'd be pretty annoyed..."

"Ah, if it isn't the forgetful detective. And how are you this fine eve?" He tipped his hat to Valerie and smiled brightly.

Linali finally managed to crack out a calm smile as the rest of her remaining anxiety ebbed away. Okay, so maybe it hadn't been that bad... Her thoughts drifted idly to other things as she hesistated on the spot, as if she wasn't quite sure what to do with herself. Her saving grace arrived when 'love love guilty' erupted from inside her bag at full volume, and she flushed madly whilst digging around for the offendingly noisy phone. She'd forgotten to change that ringtone...
She cleared her throat and shakily held the purple mobile to her ear, voice quiet.
"H-Hello, marm?"

Blake chuckled softly and took out his own cellphone. Her mild embarrassment at her ring reminded him of a potential one of his own. He currently had his cellphone set to the boss battle fight from episode six of Samurai of Izanami. Having that go off while standing in front of the star would have been bothersome. He sifted through some other ringtones before settling on the opening theme from Blue Starlight, a medical center j-dorama that he was fairly certain no one there would recognize.

Linali scrunched up her nose slightly and held the phone away from her ear, looking vexed. A high pitched woman's voice could be clearly heard, even from a few feet away, screaming things such as 'GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE LOVE' and 'NO EXCUSES'. Linali looked pleadingly up at the ceiling, as if she wanted something to burst through and take her far, far away.
Still holding the phone away from her ear, she gave in brokenly.
"... Okay...."

"Need a ride, love?" Blake added the word love in a half joking manner. "I have some other...errands to take care of and with two people in the car it wont feel like such a waste of gas." Blake's smile had been bright enough to light a small room, but he somehow managed to make it just a little brighter. If the idea wasn't entirely absurd you might think he had a florescent bulb where his tongue should be.

Linali hung up on her still ranting manager and looked at Blake in surprise.
"OH! No, no, I don't want to be any trouble, I mean, the studios are on the other side of town, and, well, I'll just run there like I did here I mean..." She babbled, trailing off as she realised how terribly feeble her protesting sounded. Tugging on one of her curls, she looked up at him with what could have been classified as a 'fierce' expression. About as fierce as an angry butterfly.
"O-Objection. Please. I really don't want to be any trouble."
