Thomas was standing beside Phoenix listening to every word in case it brought up something in the case. "Hello, Martha, I'm Detective Thomas Blu, here to assist Phoenix." A young girl with long black hair that was tied up with a ribbon tugged on Thomas' shirt. "Agh! Violet, w-what are you doing here?"
Violet giggled and explained how when she was running to the field, she forgot to stop and ran all the way to the Detention Center. "Now you can't say no to me helping! Who's this lady?"

"What happened?" Violet asked sweetly, hoping to comfort her, "If your really innocent I'll make sure I push Mr.Wright to his hardest!" Violet jabbed her fist in the air for emphasis. "Right, Mr.Wright? Right Dad?"
Thomas had nothing to say and just nodded.
I might as well let her ask her. She seems to be doing quite well on her own...

"Well I thought he was taking a nap at first. A lot of people come into the diner from bars and just crash." Martha said while gnawing on her thumbnail. "So I went to wake him up, but when I shook him he just fell over. I thought that maybe he was just really out cold so I went out for a cigarette. Then when I came back in the police were there and some guy was just pointing at me yelling 'There she is! She did it!'. Then I was brought here." She pulled her thumb away. "But I didn't do anything! I never even met the guy before!"

"Hey kid! You can't go in there!" Yelled a guard as he chased a ten year old Larry into the room. He managed to catch the boy only to be promptly stomped on the shin. He ran up to the glass and pressed his dirty hands against it.
"MOMMY!" He wept.
"LARRY!" She wept back. "LARRY MY POOR SWEET BABY!"
"MR. NICK'S DAD WILL GET YOU OUT OF HERE! HE WILL!"
"I KNOW, BABY! YOU HANG IN THERE!"
"OH MOMMY!"
"OH LARRY!"
Then the two both slammed their heads onto the table an in unison started banging on it like Martha had only moments before.
"I SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE! I'M A TERRIBLE SON!"
"I SHOULD HAVE TAKEN THE DAY OFF! I'M A TERRIBLE MOM!"
Then they rang into a chorus of overly dramatic tears.

Thomas said, flashing his badge to the guard and turned around once more to see what Violet had up her sleeve. "It's okay, we're going to do all we can! Please don't worry!" Violet gave Larry

"Oh! Uh, well." Martha compulsively rubbed at the hand prints Larry had left, but being on the other side of the glass prevented her from being able to clean it. "You see. That's a bit of a problem." She took out a bottle of cleaner and sprayed the glass with it. "I don't really know the address. I just know how to get there." She rubbed the solution with her sleeve. Then bent down to get a better look at the dirty print.
"I can show you." Larry shuffled his feet a little at Violet's smile.
