Don could hear the planing going on and thought he would see how things were going.
"That is the song that made me want to build this." He said as he started to hum the tune. "It's one of my favorite songs ever! And it showed me that Jazz is actually pretty cool! I'm working on an overall blueprint of the building to help you guys with designing. It should be done soon!"

Jay and Jeremy kept up their acoustic duet, swaying back and forth with the smooth, slow beat of the song. They could hear Don humming the tune, and Jay moved into a harmony melody that complemented the main melody. "Can't you hear it? It's so awesome," Jay remarked as he continued to play.
"Well, I can hear it. If people listened, they could hear it too," Jeremy replied, listening to the sound waves their supposed-to-be-imaginary instruments were actually making, bouncing against the currently-empty walls of the soon-to-be coffee shop.

Gerk was busy removing the final window out of the frame, when he saw Diamond Rey sitting down at the only table and chair in the establishment. He quickly finished what he was doing, and then walked up towards her.
"I'm sorry, but I'm afraid the shop's closed at the moment." he said to her nervously, "We're...um... renovating." He began to scratch his head awkwardly; he wasn't very good at talking to people he didn't know. He hoped her response would be kindly and that she wouldn't angry with him (Not that she had anything to be angry at him about, he just worried a lot about the subject)

Don heard someone come in the building. He decided to go see who was there. He had worked his way through the debris upstairs and now had to get back down again.
When he finally made it down he say a woman sitting at one of the cleared tables reading a newspaper. "Hello, I'm Don Serrot." Don introduced himself. "Did you come to help with the construction? Well, it couldn't have been for coffee." He said looking at the debris that was allover the place and the peeling wallpaper.

"Man, I wish we had a boombox. We could put on some music while we work... Maybe 'Gyakuten meets Jazz Soul' or something like that... Anyway, we'll need some recepticles to throw all this debris in," Jay commented, looking around the place looking for stuff to do. Just then he noticed Don had gone downstairs. "Hey, I wonder who's here?" Jay whispered.
Jeremy and he peeked down to the first floor and saw a woman, Gerkuman, and Don talking. Jeremy spoke softly, "I wonder who that lady is and if she is going to be helping out with the coffee shop."
The brothers walked down the makeshift stairs softly and, turning the corner, noticed the plans lying on the counter. They each quickly got out one of their sketchbooks and began transcribing the plans line-for-line onto a new page in them.
While copying down the second floor, Jay thought, 'Four bedrooms? Is Don planning on having some people LIVE here with him...? Maybe the employees? Or does he just want lots of room?'
Jeremy replied, 'Hmm... I'm not sure, but they're his plans, so he knows what he's doing... what he wants. They're neat plans anyway!'
'They sure are. I like them. Plenty of space, nothing seems "in the way" or too close to anything else,' Jay thought back.
'Indeed.' Jeremy nodded in agreement.

Don turned and saw Jay and Jeremy looking at the plans. He could hear them talking about the rooms. "So, you guys like the plans?" Don asked. He pointed at the three rooms at the bottom of the second floor. "I figure I'll put my three boys in one room and the two girls in another. And the third room is going to be a guest room. What do you think?" Don asked. "Hey! I'm going to be getting some supplies, do you two want me to get you anything?"
((I think the plans will make the RP move a bit more smoothly don't you?))

Lauren looked around. "I wonder who it was that needed those tools," she said. She then looked through her set of power tools and found a drill, sander, saw, and a variety of other things. Those would come in handy when they started putting some parts of the building together.

Don returned from getting supplies to find more people helping and allot of work done. 'This will be ready in no time!' Don thought happily to himself. He walked through a brand new unpainted door into a very clean 1st floor. He could see some of his friends taking down the tacky old wallpaper and getting the walls cleaned and ready for a fresh coat of paint. "I'm back!" Don called out. "I have some trash bags, cleaning supplies, and this..." He puled his mp3 player and some very large speakers out of a waggon he had been pulling along. He put a speaker in each corner. "I got some wireless speakers so we could have some music. I thought it would be good to have something to work to." Don started the music on his mp3 player.

"I hope this will help you get a feel for how I want this to turn out. If not then just enjoy the music." Don smiled and went upstairs to see how things were going up there.

Violet moved over to see these plans. When she saw them, she was absolutely delighted, and she started to sketch the first floor down, "This is perfect! Now I can really plan some awesome things!
Hmm... maybe this over here... no no!" Violet sketched a design, then quickly erased it, "This is nice, but it could be better..." She moved away from the plans, and into a corner where she mumbled and sketched with a smile on her face.

"Those ideas sound great! I can't wait to see what else you come up with!" Don said. He looked around, the walls were still bare and the floor still needed work. "Have you thought about what colors to do for the walls? I was thinking about having two colors swirling together. Like cream when you add it to coffee. But I'm not sure what shades to go with."

"Oh yeah! It looks really nice when you swirl colors together... Maybe a few shades of brown and some white for sugar! I once did a project like that, except the colors were orange yellow and red!" Violet wrote down, then sketched the swirls, "Tiled floors, swirled walls, maybe we should have marble tables! Really dark, almost black brown, and white. And maybe the chairs can be a light blueish white color, just to add something other than brown and white!"

"That sounds great! This place is going to look amazing!" Don took another look around to get a better picture in his mind. He let the music into his mind and pictured the 2nd floor finished. He started to zone out when he realized that Violet was still there staring at him. "Oh, sorry. I kinda zoned out there didn't I."

"Not as much as me," Violet said cheerfully, while finishing another sketch and flipping to another page, "I zone out all the time, but my way of zoning out, gets people worried and depressed them, teehee, it's amusing to see their reactions..." Violet showed Don another one of her sketches, "I was thinking the back of the chairs should have this metal design of the steam from coffee or hot chocolate... it looks kind of abstract, yet it's easy to understand if the shop is about... well... um coffee!"

"Nice! I like it! It will fit perfectly!" Don said looking at the design. "I like how it swirls like that. Your drawings look so real, I almost feel like I'm looking at the real thing!" Don handed the book back to Violet. "I'm going to see how things are going up stairs. If you need anything just let me know!"

Like a shark drawn to blood, he could sense the new coffee house from miles away. Perhaps this sort of thing was in his genes, considering his caffine-addict brother, or perhaps it was just a longing for a nice place to sort out his life over a cup of tea. Whatever made Ryan stroll through the building's doors thar day, he wasn't willing to fight it.

The smell of plaster and bare wood overpowering, he rubbed a bit of sleep from his eye. Life had been better without the visor, even with his impaired sight, and he only really wore the migrane-inducing thing when reading and watching television. Still, without a sheet of fiberglass to protect them, his eyes itched from the sharp forest scent, and he sniffled.

"Hello...? Are you open for buisiness...?"

The man ran his hand through his dirty-blonde spikes awkwardly. "I can tell you're under construction, but..." Almost total blindness had its downside, too.

The song playing on the speakers distracted him. "I like your taste in music." Ryan smirked, tapping one finger on the door handle.

Miss Mo peered through the doorway sceptically, antennae twitching with vague interest. She had never been a fan of coffee, but they might serve cookies at some point... Right?!

"Ha...! Well if it isn't Ryan," Jay said matter-of-factly, noticing him coming through the door. 'Strange. Something seems different about this guy... He doesn't have his "normal" evil aura about him.' Jay thought.
"W-wait, you KNOW this guy?" Jeremy asked, slightly confused.
"I certainly do. His name's Ryan... Armando," Jay whispered into his brother's ear.
"W-what?! L-like... Diego?" Jeremy asked back, trying to keep his voice from getting any louder than a whisper.

"Hey, Ryan! I kinda figured you of all people would be drawn to a coffee shop. But unfortunately, you're right. We're currently not open. However, I'm sure one of the people helping wouldn't mind getting us some coffee to drink while we work... to get us in the coffee mood," Jay explained.

Don walked out of the kitchen. "Well, I got the coffee pot set up! If anyone wants some I'll be ready in a little bit!" He looked over in the direction of Jay and Jeremy. There was someone he hadn't seen before talking with them. "Oh! Hello! I don't think I've seen you around here before. I'm Don, the owner of this coffee shop... well, soon to be coffee shop that is. Would you like some coffee? You can have the first cup!"

Just don't panic. Just. Don't. Panic. Maybe he's already forgotten about me.

A flash of nervousness appeared in his milky eyes for a moment, but he regained himself, praying that no one would bring up the last time they met. Of course, he expected Jay to; Ryan's little episode was a pivotal point in the lives of more than a few people (namely himself).

"Maybe I'm wrong, but I heard she got engaged...?"

Violet was near the stage, but she could hear. She turned around, her hair wisping behind her, "Did someone say my name?" She of course knew someone had said her name, but she really didn't know what else to say. She closed her book and hugged it to her chest while she came over to see what the matter was, "And I heard someone asked how I was, I'm a bit cheerier for some reason, though I shouldn't be at all, but I guess that's life..."

Daisy wandered over to the plans. Designing wasn't her thing. She enjoyed art, not creating it. A coffee house... she stole a soft smile to herself. Somebody would die, unless there was tea, and lots of tea. That was one reason to stay and help. There seemed to be a few people around, Daisy didn't have a case at the moment, and she really needed a social life. Nobody here knew her. She was just being... paranoid. That's what Somebody had always told her, and Somebody was normally right.
"Well, What needs done?" Daisy finally asked, strightening up.

Don walked up the stairs to see what work still needed to be done up there. It was mostly clean, bags full of debris stacked neatly in the corner. 'Jay and Jeremy did a good job up here.' Don thought to himself. He walked past the rooms and looked inside. Each room was very spacious. As he was walking back towards the stairs he heard a rustling noise from the bags. ((Uh oh... I think he's back!)) Suddenly a squirrel came rushing out of the bags, flew right between Don's legs, and down the stairs.
"Incoming!" Don shouted.
((The squirrel was at VioletBlu and PhoenixAshes wedding. Don't hurt him. He's like a pet.))

Soan saw the squirrel run down the stairs.

Soan often used this tactic to catch rats, and the principal was the same. He came into it's forward run pattern, and lied on his side. The squirrel ran into his hands, and Soan knocked it out by pressing against it's windpipe.

He carried it back up to Don. "What should I do with it?" he asked, looking at a window nearby with one eye.

"It's the squirrel from Vi's wedding!" Don said, rubbing his head remembering his last encounter with the little guy. "I'll take him outside. There is a tree out back I think he'll like." Don took the squirrel from Soan. The tree was old and very large. There was an old tree house in it. Don found a hole in the back of the tree and put the unconscious squirrel inside. "There you go little guy."
