"Um, sir. You forgot I was...canned about four years ago," Gumshoe muttered, but then shout. "But who cares! I don't need no badge to investigate! I'm on it, sir! Ooooh yeah. I'm raring to go. My hands are one fire!! YEEAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGG!!!" He cried as he followed the rest.

"Nick!" Maya shouted, trying to catch up. "Wait up, I'm coming to!" She halted for a moment though, glancing back at the magician girl. "Um...will you be alright, by yourself....Trucy was it?" She then remember that this girl called Nick 'Daddy'. He couldn't...nah!

Maya's face went completely red when he kissed her. For a moment, she felt like she would faint from the moment, though it was a moment she was waiting seven years to happen. When she found her voice again, she breathed "Nick...I...." she smiled and laughed nervously, her face as red as a tomato. "Um...this isn't really the time for such things, is it? I mean, a psychopathic murderer/detective/phoneydemasque is out here, wanting revenge on Mr. and Mrs. Delite...and you...and more than likely me. Perhaps we can get back to our discussion...after he's caught?" She really didn't want the moment to go away, but she had to keep Nick focussed.

"Gotcha, pal!" Gumshoe said grinning. "Ah, just like the old days." He chuckled, going over the prison. Once or twice, he stared hard into a corner of the prison. Once or twice, he would hit his head on the upper sleep bench, other times, he simply stood there, looking this way and that has he usually did.

"Um, Gumshoe?" Maya said after ten minutes. "Have you found out anything?"

"I have come to a conclusion, pal." Gumshoe said. Maya waited anctiously for the answer. "The prisoner has escaped!"

Maya nearly doubled over from the anti-climactic conclusion. "We already know that, Gumshoe!"

"Huh? Then how come you didn't tell me?!" He shouted.

"You should have already known that!" Maya said.

"Well....I didn't!" He shot back.

Diego sat in his prison cell, his mind racing from all the things he had been through. Like for example, when Mia pointed her finger at him and accused him, along with Phoenix, it all came back to him. The Terry Fawles trial, for instance-

When he died on the witness stand because of that evil woman, Dahlia Hawthorne, Mia felt like she couldn't be a lawyer anymore.

It was a truly upsetting way to end a trial, and Diego knew it. He fiddled with a photograph he happened to have in his pocket, that had Mia and him smiling and looking happy as ever. Why then, did this have to happen?

Why did he murder Maya's mother? Of course, Dahlia was in her body, but that was no reason to murder an innocent person, especially Maya's mother, of all people! He took away his girlfriend's mom-the one that had raised her from day one. Just thinking that brought tears to his eyes. Sure, she made up a false identity just to live her life without being looked at as a fool, the one who made the police bow their heads in shame during the DL-6 incident- but that didn't mean he should kill her because he saw the woman who murdered him, who killed him during questioning her. Slipping poison in my coffee, Diego thought. That's very classy. I knew I shouldn't have called her into questioning. After being asleep for all these years...the worst time of my life was when I woke up. I know, weird, huh? But since Mia's dead...I can't believe it!

He punched himself as he stared out his window, looking out at the guard that was standing only a few feet from his cell. And what's all this about Atmey escaping prision? He wondered as he stared out his window, looking at all the people passing by on their way to work, home, wherever. He sighed as he fell onto his bed, feeling like all he had to do was sleep. And that's just what he did.

Iris suddenly saw a rush of people at the scene and saw Phoenix. "Feenie is that you!?" Then she saw maya and gave a smallish frown. When Iris first looked at him he looked completly different. But then she saw through his appearance and knew that he was still the same warm hearted guy. The last thing she heard about him was that he lost his badge. Iris looked up from her work on analyzing the finger print on the bars and quickly compared it to Luke's it was a 100% match. "Well that's the only print. So i would guess no one helped him" Iris then walked over to where Phoenix was. "How's it going Feenie?"

Ron and Desiree had left the crime scene to return to their apartment.Besides,all that shock was getting Ron really worked up.When the went inside,Ron woud probably be more worked up than ever.The entire place was ransacked!Neary everything was stolen,except for a clothing drawer,and the bed.In the middle of the room,was a note.
