He looked aimlessly about the bunker for a bit, before saying "So, what's the deal with what we're going up against? Russian ultranationalists, wasn't it? Some odd stuff, that is." he said, pulling a cigarette from his pocket and lighting it.

Soap shook his head.

Soap got dressed in his gillie suit, perfect camouflage for the tall grass around. He checked for enemies and signaled all clear. "Move out." He pointed to a small shack outside a house and entered.

There was a house full of soldiers, about four. Soap signaled to be quiet and hit the deck, crawling towards the house. Zakhaev's in the city, so we'll need to travel a bit. Suddenly, two soldiers came out and starting walking towards them. "Don't make one move," Soap whispered to Lisa.

The soldiers came close, very close. Soap held his breath and they turned around, saying something in Russian. They went back inside and Soap got up quickly, staying low. "Move." They snuck past the house and into an open field. Soap saw a car drive by in the distance. He could also swear he heard a tank driving. "Lisa, I've got a really bad feeli-" Soap froze. Three tanks, twelve soldiers, zero cover. He slammed down, terrified.

Lisa looked around instinctively. She immediately spotted a small ditch; it would have to do. She grabbed Soap's arm and pulled him into the ditch as fast as she could, clamping his mouth shut with a vice-grip hand. They lay low in the ditch, perfectly still. "Follow my lead," she whispered so even Soap could barely hear, "And don't make a sound." She examined the enemy formation carefully, searching for a blind spot and a chance to escape.

Soap was known for crazy ideas, but they usually worked. He took Lisa's hand off his mouth. "I've got a plan," he whispered. "They've got a blind spot. Under the tanks!" Soap counted and when the tank rolled by, he rolled under it, gesturing quickly to Lisa.

Lisa rolled under the tank, following Soap. She was about to ask what the heck he was thinking, but stopped herself. At least Soap could think on his feet. There was a slight problem, though. What would they do when the tanks stopped? She glanced to the sides for an escape route. You better have a plan, she thought.

Soap panted. The tank rolled along and Soap crawled out from under it when it stopped to get through a gate. He crawled, under cover of the gillie suit. When the soldiers were out of sight, he got up and ran behind a destroyed car. He looked out. "Sniper tower. Take 'im out," Soap said, heart racing.

Lisa looked at the tower for a a split second, aiming her pistol. She fired once, with a silencer so the shot wasn't so loud, then aimed again. When she saw that that had been the only sniper, she lowered the gun. She whispered to Soap, "Think we could use that tower for the mission?"

He found a road leading into the city and followed it, finding a fire escape and climbing. When he got inside, he set up the sniper and waited, pulling binoculars out.

"Ok, I've got a shot!" Soap yelled, aiming, but a helicoptor got in the way; too late. The pilot died and the coptor spun out. Zakhaev yelled. "SHIT! Fire! FIRE!" Soap sprang up and ran, repelled down the building.

Lisa instinctively pulled the trigger. She fired once more just as she realized that Soap was in trouble. He'd be shot down any instant. Cursing under her breath again, she hurled her knives at the men about to fire at Soap. Then Lisa was suddenly aware of a chopper flying to the ground. Perfect. Just f*cking perfect, she thought. Without looking to see if the General was dead, she repelled down and ran to the chopper with amazing speed.

Thanks to the combined awesomeness of Ceres and the Vickinator, I shall TAKE OVER THE WORLD!

Lisa pulled the chopper off the ground with a sudden jerk. She'd pushed the pilot out of the way so she could take control. So much for helicopter lessons, she thought. Hurriedly, she pulled up and made her unsteady way toward the edge of the city. Just as they reached it, the chopper lurched forward before spinning out of control. "We've been hit!" she shouted. "It's gonna crash! We better jump!"
