After many long hours of explosions, screaming children, and basic torture. The group leader who was a young male in about his twenties walked out of the orphanage, willing to negotiate with the police. The SWAT had surrounded the building but were afraid to take action considering they were largely out manned and the terrorists had hostages. The man walked up right in front of the police, he was not afraid of them, if he were to die here then that means that his fellow followers would execute every soul in the building. The man stood mere feet away from the police chief and SWAT coordinator.
"My name is John Doe." He said mockingly.
" Were willing to negotiate with you, John Doe."
"That's all we want. Listen were not bad people, in fact were quite nice. We want Kira around to make sure bad people don't come back. They were all almost gone months ago, but when Kira vanished crime rose up once again. My mother was raped by Alex Tobies, soon after she committed suicide. That evil man was only going to get a few years in prison, but then Kira punished him and now he's burning in hell. Don't you see, he's on your side but he makes sure that the criminals don't commit crimes ever again."
"Yeah but he also kills for a senseless cause!!!" The SWAT Coordinator snapped.
"Shut up!" John cried "I will execute every one in that building if you speak like that again!"
"I apologize." The SWAT Coordinator replied reluctantly.
"Good now lets discuss our demands, first we want the police and every other force to stop chasing Kira. Second, we want-"
But then he stopped and grabbed his chest.
"SO tHiS is THE enD!!!" he screamed madly. "I neW sHe could'NT be trustED!!!"
The he fell on the floor and twitched for a second, then all life left his body. Next hundreds of kids came running out of the buildings. Kira had saved them all. The followers had all been killed by heart attacks. Ambulances were waiting outside for the hostages. The incident had come to its dramatic conclusion. The police chief then took out his megaphone to make a quick announcement.
"If anyone has any information about what went on in their, you are to go to the Police. We believe some information about Kira's identity could have been compromised in their. A new detail was just revealed to us and it would help if you told us anything new about the case. That is all." The chief then stepped down. The crisis was finally over.

Lukily for John, most residents of the wammy house weren't paying much attention to him, he might even be able to get out un-caught if he just slipped out subtly enough...
Well, maybe. One of them had been staring at him quite intently as he came in, dark haired, and looked too old to still live here. He looked like he recognised him, but how could he?
His thoughts were stopped quickly by the fact that the hostage takes appeared to have spontaneously burst into dance. Badly.
It took him a second to realize, what was happening.
Heart attacks.
He slowly stood up, most of the other hostages were still processing what just happened. Luckily for him, he was next to one of the more perceptive ones.
"He's got a gun!" The child next to him shouted in alarm, seeing his under-arm holster, but apparently not seeing the fact it was empty. Then came the screaming, and the running. The room erupted into panic, he wasn't going to be able to talk his way out of this one, but luckily the only muscle in the building was tied up. John started backing up slowly trying to make his way toward the bathroom door and his exit.
Hell half the room probably forgot why they were screaming, he was back into a ghost. Except to that one boy, the one who had been staring at him on his way in, he was looking right at him, and apparently pushing his way through the crowd toward him.
John turned around and simply began walking quickly toward the bathroom, hoping the kid was just heading for an exit or something.
'Don't look behind you don't look behind you don't look behind you' he repeated to himself as he made his way toward the bathroom at a medium pace.

Unless of course someone had successfully connected the Whammy House with L.
Then this place was no longer an orphanage but a breeding ground of threats to the so-called "God" dubbed Kira.
Which was why it came as something of a surprise when the terrorist died of a very obvious and violent heart attack. Why would Kira kill someone who was so useful to him...? Obviously the kids of Whammy House would be a threat to his existance so why protect them?
Then one of the kids started yelling about a gun and all hell broke loose.
One of the kids had actually backed up into him as everyone started to go crazy, causing him to turn around to see what the hell all the commotion was about. It didn't take him too long to figure out that everyone was going crazy about the mystery guy's gun holster. Honestly, he was starting to second-guess the whole "threat to Kira" thing. The most the guy could hold in that holster was a handgun, which wasn't much of a threat when it came to the friggin' rifles that some of the terrorists were waving around like toys.
Not only that but the sudden state of panic that the room was in made his mission of finding out who the hell this guy was a lot harder. Cursing audibly he pushed himself from his sitting position on the ground and started to chase after him. He didn't even stop to apologize to some of the kids he pushed out of the way, he knew they'd be fine anyways. Little chickens or not he knew from experience that a lot of them were pretty resilient. Mostly because of the daily soccer games that often turned into war zones.
"You! HEY!" He shouted as he finally emerged into the hallway. The guy was walking away pretty damn quickly and he realized that he'd have to run to catch up with him. Which really pissed him off. He really hated running.
"Damnit oldman, I said wait!" He took off at a light sprint, surprisingly fast considering the fact that he often avoided any type of exercise.

John heard someone shouting behind him, he tried to ignore it as he got to the bathroom door, he pushed in and went straight for the cubicle he had came in through, opened the door and lifted up the tile,
Then he grabbed the tazer.

The crowd of orphans outside was never ending. They were crowded along the sides of Ambulances and SWAT vans. The authorities were busy cleaning up the mess inside. Nobody knew exactly were these orphans would go. The Whammy house was clearly unsafe know that virtually every Kira follower knew about it. The police talked to one another about the issue, but no conclusions were made. Finally the Police chief came to the conclusion that L would be best to decide what to do with them since he was one of the founders apparently. They decided he would call soon since it was an almost international event. But L called way before anyone predict. Almost exactly after they discussed him the Chief's phone rang. It was L.
"Hello who is this-" the Chief said, as if he didn't know. L then responded.
"Understood." The Chief then hung up his phone with a grave look on his face. He then told the SWAT Coordinator to make sure that no one inside the orphanage left the police line. All the exits from the Police line had then been secured moments later. The chief then pulled up his megaphone once again.
"We have reason to believe that Kira is here at this very moment. We ask that no one panic and try to leave the scene. We will begin individually screening people shortly. Once you have been screened and registered you are free to leave the scene. L has arranged for a few buses to take trips to pick all of you up to bring you to a disclosed location, you will be safe their. Cots will be made on the street seeing as how some of you are tired. That is all, when we call your name please report to the screening van that will be marked with bright flashing yellow lights. That is all."
The crowd began to cry again, to them the incident was still underway. And the worst was yet to come.

"Shit!" He hissed as he reached the last cubicle only to see a pair of boots disappearing into the ceiling. It wouldn't do him much good to climb up after him. He wasn't exactly the strongest person, physically speaking, and chances were the older man would have the upper hand in such a tight space.
Instead he preferred to resort to more under handed tactics.
"Oi!" He shouted up at the vents with a smug smirk. "I know you, old man! I saw you on the surveilance cams at Sakura TV. You were harassing that news anchor, weren't you? I've got your face and everything right on my computer. I'm willing to talk about it and stuff if you want. Otherwise I'm just gonna assume that you didn't belong there and take the surveilance vids to the police. And something tells me that you ain't gonna like that."
If his suspicions were accurate, then... the surveilance videos would be more of a threat to the mysterious old man than he was. Especially since they showed his face.
"So, what about it? I might even erase the things. That all depends on you."

Sat in the vents, stopped just before his exit. This was the type of situation John hated, he had been caught out, and by some kid too. 'old man' He was 27! Thats not too old... Well, he was getting caught out by...
'O.k now is not the time for a mid-life crisis' he thought to himself as he tried to collect his thoughts. The Kid had him, with Kira returned, he couldn't afford to be plastered all over the T.V. And with how suspicious he looked being conveniently inside the wammy house when it's invaded, and then all the would-be allies of Kira dying, he knew it looked bad for him if he was handed over to the police...
The Kid didn't look unfit, and John was a terrible fighter, even with his size advantage. He couldn't risk fighting him, especially with him on home ground... He had the tazer though... No, he couldn't do that to a kid.
Sighing, he holstered the tazer and slid the folder down his back, underneath his shirt, and tucked the bottom of it into his pants waist. There, secure and unnoticeable he climbed down.
"Alright I'm coming down!" He shouted down to the kid.
'But I still have one ace of up my sleeve you smug punk' he thought to himself re-assuringly as he stepped down and surrendered.
"Now, you just said you wanted to talk right?"

Chill snuck past the police around Whammy's House and tip toed inside. walking into Whammy's House he thought. 'Hmm, If I'm going to get info on Kira this might be a good place to start.' He heard a voices coming from the bathroom. One of them said something about an old man. 'Hmm, wonder whats going on.' He peeked his head into the bathroom and saw a man looking up at the ceiling. 'It seems hes chasing after an old man... I'd suspect hes in the ventilation shafts judging from the vent cover lying on the ground.' He watched the two talk silently from behind the door.

"That's right. I just wanna talk... for now." He smirked, "You've got some balls, old man. Showing up here 'n everything. It doesn't take a genius to figure out why you're here, either. It's got something to do with Kira... doesn't it?" He shook his head, frowning. "Why else would you have any reason to sneak into Sakura TV's dressing rooms then drag your ass all the way out here? You must've connected us to L somehow."
A heavy sigh as he shifted his weight from one foot to the other, lifting a hand to shove the dark hair that had fallen into his face back in place. "Sorry to disappoint you, though. "L" is dead. Not even his legacy is still alive, as far as I'm concerned. Course, if you're as smart as I think you are you probably already knew that. So what was your reason for coming here, geezer? Or am I supposed to believe that you just coincidentally got lost and climbed through our vents?"

"Alright kid, first things first, yes, I do have something to do with Kira, as a matter of fact, I'm looking for him, and from how you know about my visit to the Sakura building I think you are too.
Secondly, I would appreciate it if you wiped that smirk off your face be for I do it for yer'! Because in case you hadn't noticed, my situation here isn't what you japanese folk call 'legal' and you are what is called a witness.
Stop me if I'm going to fast for you.
And to bring this grand speech to a conclusion, I am right now in a building that is surrounded by a tight police perimeter and you are going to decide what's going to happen next, either you can help me out of here, and I can give you a suitcase full of information on the Kira case and maybe we could get something done, or..."
John pulled out the tazer and aimed for the boy's chest. In the few seconds in doing that he thought he might be going too far, but he was too stressed right now to care.
"I could send a few hundred volts up you and then carry you out, and throw you in the boot of my car."
'John you devilish magnificent bastard' he thought to himself, trying to make up for the blow to his self esteem he just suffered. 'Now you're back in the game, and all it took was threatening someone smaller than you with a weapon!'.
After he'd finished with his little rant he realised he was out of breath and panting, either he had gotton carried away or he WAS getting old. He brought his attention back to the boy in front of him.

Instinctively he tensed, staring at the so-called "non-deadly" weapon that had been issued to police forces across the world for self defense. Course any person with enough money and some sort of license could purchase one now-a-days, but this thing looked like an old model from the days when tazers could only be wielded by law enforcers.
Did this guy used to be some sort of officer? Either that or he bought the thing off Ebay.
Not like either options mattered much at that moment. What really concerned him was the possibility of those two metal barbs shooting into his skin and distributing 50,000 jolts of electricity throughout his entire friggin body.
"H-hey, c'mon..." He said shakily. Damn, he hated himself for losing his cool but for some reason tazers just freaked him out. "You really don't need to resort to this... I never said I would report you for sure! Besides..." He finally took his eyes away from the gadget to look back up at the man. "The reason I bothered to chase after you in the first place... was cause I was interested in making you my partner." Another cocky smirk as he put emphasis on 'you' and 'partner'. He may have been at the older man's mercy but he was still convinced that he was the one pulling the strings in this operation.

"Well I do need a sidekick..." He said smiling at him.
"Alright" He said, calming down and holstering his weapon.
"But first things first, we need to get out of here, if the police catch me I'm done for, and they have quite a tight perimeter around here." He stepped back and looked up at the escape hole in the ceiling.
"They probably won't be watching the roof now that the hostages have been released, we can scout and go from there, come on I'll give you a boost" John said motioning to the boy.
Then the sound of a loud crash echoed through the halls. He pulled out the tazer again, but this time simply held it in front of him pointing it at the ground.

But at the moment they had bigger things to worry about. Namely, how to get out without the police noticing them... and notifying "L". Near was certainly the last person that he wanted to know what was going on.
"Right... the roof..." Zero murmured in acknowledgment, though he certainly didn't sound very enthusiastic. Climbing through vents took effort, after all. There didn't seem to be much else of an option, tho--
Oh, what the hell.
"Of course I heard that!" He said though not so much in a whisper. It was far too loud NOT to hear. What the hell was going on now!? All the kids should have been outside being inspected by the police and such. Unless...
Wordlessly he headed towards the exit and went into the hallway... to spot one of the younger kids trying (but failing) to sneak off.
Of course his legs were longer, thus it took him little-to-no effort to catch up with the kid and grab at his arm. "Oi! Chill! What the hell are you doing, eavesdropping!?"
((Of course Zero knows Chill's name and vice-versa. XD They live in the same house and Zero's kinda like a babysitter/teacher's assistant cause of his age.))

Chill didn't like working with other people but this was his only choice since he had no leads and these two guys seen to know something.

Zero scoffed as he crossed his arms over his chest indignantly. "Me? Team up with you? Please." He hated Chill. Not like the kid had done anything to him personally. He just reminded him far too much of Near. "We already have enough problems without having to drag along a kid like you."

"All right men" he began. "Their are some missing children and a strange man that have yet to be found, we believe that they are still inside the building since the whole orphanage has been surrounded. We have also shut down all rounds within a two mile radius. To top it all off we also have tree helicopters taking patrols with search lights around the area. Quite frankly it will be basically impossible to escape. Now we can not stress that fact that their is a good chance that this man is armed and might even be holding the missing children as hostages. Everyone please keep your helmets on, just in case this man really is Kira. We will try to solve this peacefully but if that is not possible you are permitted to open fire, but do not fire if their is a chance that you will hit the children. All right team lets move out."
The SWAT Coordinator then kicked open the door and stormed the building. Six other members followed.

"What?" He turned towards John, having almost forgotten about him until he said something about a name.
"... well, my 'name' is Zero. It should go without saying that there's no way in hell I'm giving you my real name. What, with Kira and all tha--"
Just then he was interrupted by the sound of the front doors literally slamming open and several pairs of heavy feet swarming the lower grounds. They came faster than he'd expected.
"Shit...!" He cursed, going to a nearby window and peering out to see the human barrier surrounding the building. And was that a helicopter over there...? These guys were really serious about their job.
"Tch... bastards. "L" probably ordered them to find me and Chill. Course, they aren't gonna do shit to me..." He turned towards John, "But you're a different story old man. I don't suppose your "idea" can solve this little mess?"

He punched a glass window next to him, smashing it, grimacing he picked up one of the shards and cut his arm with it, he then took some of the blood and turned to Zero.
"Alright, I'm gonna need you to act injured" He said throwing blood onto Zero's shirt. then I'll need to-" He was cut off by the sound of swat members entering the large room the hostages had been in. "Shit no-time!" He said, as he dashed out the room and quickly back into the bathroom, leaving a Zero behind.

When Chill peeked his head out Zero gave him a rather... rude hand gesture. "Screw you, Chill! I'm not about to let you wi--"
"There! I found one of them!"
... shit.
Luckily it was one guy, but... said guy was running right towards him. With a gun.
Like hell he was going to stay put and "act injured".
"ARRGH!" He yelled in frustration as he turned and went running after the old man for the second time that day. If they both lived through this he was seriously going to kick his sorry ass. That is if the police who followed him to the bathroom didn't kick his ass first.

'Damnit' He thought, Zero had just broke his last ditch escape effort, he couldn't get into the vents quick enough not to be caught, so he exited the cubicle and stood at the side of the bathroom door.
"You!" The swat member shouted, running for Zero, "I-" the swat member was cut off by the two needles stabbing into his back, alarmed he turned around gripping his weapon, but before he could raise it he was electrocuted by the high powered taser.
The tazer sadly works by sending shocks throughout the body causing muscles to contract as a side affect, this means the muscles in his trigger finger were also affected.
The walls and mirrors exploded in a hail of shattered glass and tile as the loud machine gun fired off randomly as the man fell, as soon as John was sure the man had passed out he released his finger on the trigger and quickly dragged the body into the cubicle.
It was a miracle none of the bullets had hit Zero or Chill.
"What the hell where you thinking!?" John shouted angrily at Zero.

Wordlessly he shoved past John and entered the cubicle. He was on a mission now, and he was confident that this plan of his would work. Swiftly he started to bereft the now unconcious police officer of his uniform, namely his jacket and his helmet.
"Here!" He said, chucking the items at John. "You look more the part." Without explaining what he meant by this he headed towards the shattered glass. Picking one of them up he slipped his jacket off and without warning slashed his pale arm with the glass. With a hiss he dropped the glass on the floor and inspected the cut. It wasn't deep enough to even so much as leave a scar, but it was bleeding enough to be convincing. He figured that if they were going to do this they might as well do it right.
"There's an ambulance out there." He explained curtly, expecting the old man to keep up and figure out the plan on his own. "We're going to jack that thing." He strode towards the bathrrom door and peeked his head out into the hallway.
"Oi, Chill! We're blowing this joint! If you wanna 'swallow your pride', you can come!" He smirked. What fun was escaping through the vents, anyways? If he was going to get out of here he wanted to do it with a bang.

Slinging the gun over his sholdier he ran through the plan in his head once more.
Pretend he came in and found an unknown assailant and he'd taken two hostages, say one was injured in the ensueing conflict and offer to take the hostages out and take the injured one to the medics, once they got to the ambulance... Well he'd have to wing it.
He could pull off the swat disguise, being a former policeman he knew just how to act. And he knew the swat would be coming soon because of the gunshots.
He walked up to Zero and glanced at Chill.
"We ready then?"

"Hello this is Haruhi Tanaka, back after a short vacation to sort somethings out (mainly my divorce because of that strange man) but now I am back and reporting at the closest area I could get to the Whammy house incident. The Police have closed all roads leading to the Whammy house within a two mile radius. Also above me are helicopters surveying the surrounding area, for what our sources say are two missing boys and a strange man-"
She was then cut off by here executive who was behind the Cameraman, he had just received a call from one of their sources. He then walked on screen and whispered something in her ear. Haruhi then continued with her report.
"We have just received an anonymous report, that gunshots have just been heard in the Whammy house. It is believed to be an SMG, the same kind of weapon the SWAT carries, that entered the building minutes ago. The police believe that the strange man mentioned earlier could even be Kira, please stay with Sakura TV while we cover this breaking story, now we must cut to commercial."

Zero glanced down at Chill with a frown. Now that he thought about it, he doubted they would let John take both of them out considering the boy wasn't "injured". Course he could just leave him. Which was very, very tempting.
"Hm..." He tilted his head before turning towards John, "What do you think? Should we knock the midget out?" If it appeared that Chill was unconscious than certainly they would let him be taken to the "hospital" as well. Of course, that all depended on John and Chill. Whether John would want to deal with the kid, and whether Chill would even allow them to knock him out.
((Sorry for the short and rather sucky-ass post. I'm kinda "meh" today.))
