It was a good thing it was whatever ungodly hour of the night it was, lest her puffy eyes and damp cheeks been seen. But somehow, she saw him, as he fell on his knees, and embraced her. Caught off guard for a moment, she returned the gesture, sobbing onto his shoulder.
