¨you idiot...¨ The dark aura became even bigger than Hubris´s and hunter became a dark angel ¨so I´m finally free?¨ the angel saw Hubris ¨Hi hubris long time no see, if you don´t remember who am I´ll re-introduce myself, my name is Uriel, a fallen angel who have some pity with a baby that died and gave his soul to him... but that baby was defeated right now, I guess I´ll take his place¨ Uriel took the katana and smiled ¨Shall we start our little charade?¨

Hubris paused for a moment, not quite sure how to respond... and then he scoffed.
"Just you? That was his 'disgusting demon'?" He said with mock boredom. "I was expecting fangs and claws, blood and guts flying in some form of horrendous transformation."

His left arm regrew, a glass offshoot that burst from the stump, and then returned to it's original shape and color of Hunter's left sleeve and arm. He reached down and grabbed the dropped blade, then jumped into the portal completely, disappearing with only his voice to remain. "If you wanna fight, then you do it on my terms-- where all of the demon hunters see you as the enemy and me as the real Hunter! Catch up if you can, the door back is WIDE OPEN!!"

Back in Dracula's castle, Hubris as Hunter reemerged through the fallen mirror that they had originally passed through. He was a perfect copy of Hunter, in appearance, power, voice and minor knowledge, and now that the real Hunter was both possessed and not quite himself anymore, it would be all the easier to pass off with the others as the original.

He climbed up and out of the fallen mirror, landing upon his back, and up to see Evie and Maria still there. "Quick, take cover. It's coming after me." He said to them as Hunter would.

¨This shall be fun!¨ Uriel summoned million s of lances that aimed hubris, but that was just a distraction, he jumped over his head and stepped on it ¨I really like tap¨ some spikes rised from his feet and he started to dance over the fake hunter head, then he kicked his face and teared some of his skin ¨If you really want the other hunters to try to stop me, you should know that I care a shit about them, I´d kill them and then send their souls to hell¨ Uriel was rather happy to have a good fight after such a long time ¨But I´ll fullfill my promise with the baby and protect Master¨ Uriel took out the katana and threw Hubris to the wall, then he starred Maria and Evie, ¨Stay back...¨ Maria said, she was really scarred but Uriel smiled to her and went looking for the fake...

Hubris could feel nothing, in truth. The sense of touch was beyond him, it wasn't his dominion. He could tell that his body was taking damage, however, and knew how to make things work with it.

Every blow Uriel made upon Hubris/Hunter did not crack or shatter him like before, but genuinely damaged him, blood from cuts, bruises from blows. So far, he was a bit of a wreck, his physical injuries slowing the Hunter-body down a bit. Not a problem.

In Hunter's voice, he shouted from behind a pillar, and weaved his lies into the knowledge of those nearby. "Uriel, Hubris may have separated you from me, but by the name of my Master, you will go back with me-- EVEN IF I HAVE TO KILL MYSELF TO DO IT!!"

Flawless acting.

Drawing upon some of Hunter's tricks, Hubris summoned some of his energy, and started to chant and sign. "You will regret harming me, fallen one. Universal Law of Karma!"
Hubris had seen Hunter use this several times before, the damage done to the user of the trick turned back onto the one who caused the damage, at least a thousandfold. A great energy washed over Uriel, and the magic took effect.

Uriel laughed hard ¨Pitty sin, you forgot the aftermath effect of that technique¨ Uriel happily went and kicked Hubris ¨I know you do not feel pain yet the Law of Karma isn´t stupid...¨ Uriel smiled while Hubris power went dramatically down, Uriel then said ¨the half of your power is gone, will you be able you defeat me with that pitty power?¨ Uriel smiled and went rushing towards him...

Whispering so that only Uriel could hear, he said "There are ways past such things-- for example, that part of your host I stole has more than kept me at peak strength. I could keep using that same spell, and yet only that part would suffer."

Swinging one of the two swords to regain his footing, he made a dash at Uriel. Again, he whispered only to Uriel. "Forget not that it isn't I that you are fighting for-- and we do not know the outcome of Master and Dracula's duel. NOW!"

Rather than coming at Uriel head on, he jumped down and slid using his momentum, passing under the angelic-being and slashing at him from below as he passed.

Hubris/Fake Hunter didn't try to escape. He couldn't.
'Humility as a incarnate... from him?' He thought, before being blasted by the attack Inner sent.

His appearance cracked: clothing, skin, swords; lines ran through it all, until a blinding light erupted from Hubris's body, and pieces of Hunter-colored glass flew across the room. A thick cloud of dust covered the entire hallway where Hubris once stood. His looming aura could no longer be felt... and yet there was still an ominous presence looming within the cover of the dust...

"...you are fools... no, worse than fools..." Echoed a voice very familiar. It was slightly crystalline in sound now, but still was Hubris's voice. "...Pride... vanity... from the first, God's appointed one was tainted... and from those two, there sprung six more..." In a blur of motion, what looked like a stream of particularly shiny dust flew straight for Uriel and Inner. It passed around them, then condensed into long, thick arms made of a reflective mirror-like substance that branched into the shadows of the dust, each large hand grabbing their throats.

"Uriel... Hunter... it would be ironic and fatal of you to underestimate such things as 'Pride'... but I am not yet ready to reveal myself like this-- you can have your stolen part back for now, our contract has been fulfilled."
Traveling down the inside of the arm to Uriel was a faint purplish glow. It passed through the arm into Uriel's neck, and vanished, leaving a minute prick that bled only a single drop.

"My work here is almost done. I will fare thee well for now, until we meet again." The arms disintegrated back to the shiny powder and returned into the shadows of the dust clouds, which had hardly yet to disperse. When it finally did, nothing was left behind it, not even Hubris's large mirror which had been discarded there prior.

The small glass ball that held Venus's soul shattered, and the great energy that was held within rushed out, and finally releasing her spirit.

Uriel smiled to inner and inner said ¨I´ll seal you again if you don´t mind...¨ Uriel replied ¨Ok, I was sleepy anyway¨ Inner drew the seal and Uriel´s body was transforming into hunter´s ¨What the fuck happened?...¨ Inner just said ¨We should go now idot, go on!¨, Maria and Evie where at the exit with the strange box ¨Should we open it sis?¨ she asked timidly.

Master and Dracula declared a tie and Master went rushing for v, when he found him he felt like a millon of bullets where taken from him ¨Pupil everything´s ok now, the mission was accomplished¨ Hunter was really tired but he had to do the portal to go home ¨Let´s go inner...¨ he said and dissappeared...

Hubris was frustrated. Flustered. Downright upset and past his last nerve. Off away from where anybody could find him, he was thinking things through.

"It had been a cheap shot," he kept telling himself, "a cheap shot that they won by--"
"But I was the one that released the seal--" He said to himself, interrupting himself like another person would.
"Who cares!? There is no way they could make something like 'humility' into a physical weapon!! That defies the very fabric of nature--"
"More than I am?"
"I am not like that!! I have meaning, purpose, a grand design set up by my own two hands through personal evolution beyond--"
"Evolution? I hardly changed a bit since the day I was born. The only thing that changed in myself is--"

"H-hey, stay calm, the last thing I need to do is set myself off after that embarrassing..."

Across the valley and forest of Dracula's castle, the bloodthirsty roar of the word 'Flawless' echoed long and far.
The second tallest tower of the castle was all but destroyed by the sudden growth of an enormous crystalline obelisk, spires of the reflective gem branching blindly, violently, through what stonework remained. No one could be found within what remained of that tower.
