"Hm. And Aero? You wish to decide?" He turned around and looked at Aero, who seemed somewhat angry for some odd reason.
"Just remember that your lives are top priority. If you are in danger, leave immediately and make sure you are covered. Even if you are not, make sure you survive. I won't be held liable for anyone's stupidity." Looking at the two with a look that radiated both annoyance and the need to make sure they'd listen, Seigi took a cig out and lit it with his power.

Shrinesmaid would walk in to the group just then... looking as shy as usual... but looking, also, as though she wanted to help... though she honestly didn't know what they were all talking about, and what, in it's entirety, was going on. But... dang it... she just couldn't stand around anymore! She wanted to make a difference...!

"U-ummm..." Shrinesy eeped, walking over to Marvel and Aero... "I... I overheard your conversation. And... um... well, I don't fully understand everything." She paused for a moment before clinching her fists, one around her gohei, and tried to look determined, "But... if... there's anything I can do to help, please take me with you! Or... at least tell me what I could do.
I'm sorry if I don't get it... I just... I didn't wanna stand around and do nothing anymore. Plus, I think something weird was near me... I forget."

"Here?" Starlord looked at the dingy tavern. "Correct. In here, down the stairs. Follow the left fork." The voice told him. "...Why?" A slight grunt of irritation came from the orbs. "...why? This." Suddenly, an array of image appeared in front of Starlord. He had less then a second to not each one - they crumbled away like dust. However, when it was finished; a fear of the future overtook him - as if the images had inspired a feeling within him. "I.. see." He entered the tavern; it was entirely empty. He walked down the stairs and followed the left fork. He walked forward at an even pace to find himself in some form of cage - as he heard the gate close behind him, he knew it was trouble. Directly in front of him, his opponent was wearing some form of collar. "And that is... wait, get off!" The sudden clipping on of a similar collar surprised him. "What is this?" he said to the person who had clipped it on. "Oh, you don't know? This is what it is." he tapped a button on a small remote in front of him. Suddenly, a pulse of electricity shot through him. The pain was unbearable, then it faded to nothing. "...This collar does that?" he asked, shocked at the feeling.

The man simply pressed the remote again. Another pulse shot through Starlord and he fell to his knees. The man who had clipped it on opened a door in the cage and stepped outside, locking it instantly. "Crying already? Get up and fight!" Starlord slowly climbed to his feet and faced his opponent. His opponent simply laughed at him.

"Lightning Deathmatch? Sounds like someone can't take a loss. Well, I'll be at the base for a while, so call me or whatever if I'm not stuck in a bloodbath again. Later, people." Seigi just began to walk away as he started to smoke again. If anything, he'd probably head to the local coffee shop and grab a newspaper then read up on the latest motorsport news. He was bored and needed some caffeine.

"Something weird? Like what? A person?" 3 questions down, 17 more to go. Marvel smirked, then cried out as a shock of electricity went through her. "Damn! I went too far in aga-AUGH!" Marvel fell to her knees, tears coming to her eyes as she dug her fingers into the ground. The pain subsided and she stood back up, shaking. "Well, I think Starlord found the Lightning Deathmatch." She wiped her face with her hand. "I've got to be more careful," she muttered, as she broke off the connection she had with Starlord. "I should know better than to be so connected with someone's mind." She took a deep breath and let it out slowly. Sensei, are you still-
I've got him. Sensei was hidden in the shadows of the left fork hallway, watching the two men in the cage. Don't worry, I'll step in if something starts happening. She tightened her grip on her sai; she had a bad feeling about this fight.

((Note: Can I have permission to re-write some of Starlord's powers, seeing as they will be changing in the very near future anyway XP))

His opponent had little problem injuring Starlord; even when he was using the power from the Light Orb, he was finding it harder to fight in the confined location; the pulses didn't help either. His body would not stand much more of the punishment it was facing; if he did not get medical attention, the chances of him surviving for long afterwards did not seem high. Starlord set off a small ball of light and dark, only to have his opponent (who's powers seemed to consist solely of super strength and super durability) ignore it, pulling the scythe out of Starlord's hands as he used his other hand to shove Starlord away. It didn't take long for something to click in Starlord's mind. A small, slightly evil, smile appeared on his face as the blue flames began seeping from his mouth.

((While his 'opponent' is a superhero, I see no point in making a profile for a character who probably won't appear for very long after this.))

Xero quietly snuck out of the bed. "I'm sorry, Yuki... I've got to go," he whispered to her sleeping form. "I've got business to take care of..."

He got out of the area and ran. "I don't know what to say, but I'm tired of being an outcast to the world. Mephiles may be gone, but nothing has changed." He sighed. "And of course, that hero organization looks down at me like I'm their enemy and I'm their target... because of that other person who hunts me down."

His armor flashed as it formed back onto him. "If nothing will change on its own, I will do so for them!"

With the blue flames escaping form his mouth, Starlord levitated a few centimetres from the floor; the collar was still showing signs of attempting to shock him, without success. "...Die." was the only word that came from Starloud's mouth for the duration of the fight; melodramatic as it was, it certainly got the point of across. He moved suddenly; he was on the other side of the cage and had one hand around his opponent's neck. He lifted his foe up and then threw them at the wall of the cage; the sound of the metal breaking could be heard. The man fell through the cage, leaving a hole in the exterior. Starlord exited through this hole, quickly running past the shocked guests and up the stairs leading to the surface.

Xero dashed across the city. "It's time to settle the score. Once and for all." He stopped, and turned around. "I know you're there," came his voice again. "Come out, come out, wherever you are." He waited for seemingly nowhere; anyone who watched him would probably think he was crazy, but Xero knew who he was standing around for.

Sitting back at base and on the rooftop, Seigi was shuffling a deck of cards like a magician would. He kept a rather evil smile as he watched the events unfold.
"All according to the plan, I see... looks like I get to see something unfold." The shuffling continued as he watched the specks in the distance move. If this was what Seigi was planning, then that which is the Darkness must be wary. Which he wasn't because Eddie was sleeping.

Starlord felt the weight of the bottle hit his back; several pieces of glass went through his coat, while the rest of it hit the floor. He blocked out the dull feeling of pain on his back - he ignore the new-found voices in his head, urging him to crush the little worm standing behind him. He knew what he was looking for; for a moment, he had heard his voice. "Where are you?" Starlord called out in reply, his voice echoing over the city - he waited for Xero to reveal himself, while he kept himself as calm as possible, trying to locate Xero as soon as possible.

Xero turned, hearing the reply. "I am here, in the middle of the city. I've been waiting quite a while for this, but I think it's time we finish our skirmish once and for all." He turned to Aero, cutting her off before she could respond to what he said just a second ago: "It seems as if I cannot stand around; I have something to attend to." He ran off, knowing that he and his opponent would meet at the abandoned factory again...
