"Back with the land of the living, Wrighto?" Zeth grinned, giving Phoenix a few friendly pats on the cheek, "Maya sure grew up to become a keeper, huh? Imagine what she's like at the village."
"She doesn't get as much freedom there, that's why she likes to have a bt of fun when she's outside of the village," Phoenix replied, finally opening his eyes. Turning to Zeth, the colour in his face was still very pale, as he narrowed his eyes at Zeth. "What on Earth happened just now? You open fired a government grade pistol in public right above my head in a moving vehicle. Have you gone mad?"
"The vehicle was under attack," Zeth replied with a cool voice, pausing his investigation of the car, "I believe it was a sniper of some sorts, cause I couldn't spot the assailant. Luckily their aim wasn't very good. Judging by the building density of the area though, I'd guess it was someone living on the previous street. Mr Trigger happy got the bonnet of the car, only by glance luckily. Maya wasn't too happy with the damage."
"Or your return fire support- I heard her," Phoenix narrowed his brows grabbing Zeth's jacket, and quickly opening it out enough to see Zeth's gun on a harness under his arm. Grabbing the gun from it's holster, Phoenix slapped out the magazine, and handed the gun back to Zeth, "Maya has been through alot in her time with death and violence. Don't add to it by stooping to the gunman's level of aggression. You are beyond the Mafia now, Gant."
Snatching the magazine from Phoenix cooly, Zeth narrowed his brows also, sheathing his gun back into its holster, and putting the bullets into a hidden pocket on the other side of his jacket. "I don't believe for one second that I'm completely beyond the Mafia, Wright. I might have diplomatic immunity, but I'm still blood related." Finally spotting his glasses on the seat beside Phoenix, Zeth carefully picked them up and put them back onto his face. "I take the price of my freedom with caution. I may be free, but I'm not guaranteed safety- specially now I'm parading my name out to the world once more." Slapping a grin back on his face though finally, he held his hand out to the ex lawyer, "Even so, for Maya, I'll make sure my gun is unloaded- for now. After all, she is my lift back to the stadium!"
Smirking back, Phoenix grabbed Zeth's hand, and swooped his legs around to an upright when Zeth helped him up off his seat a little. Shuffling around to leave the car, Zeth laughed slightly.
"I hope Maya has some great insurance on this car, or she might be getting you to pay for a new roof on her car!" Pausing his movement, Phoenix froze, as something poked him wrong in his rear end. Raising his brows in interest, he investigated his back pocket, fishing out the object sticking into him.
"It'd be unlikely to be me she asks for money from," Phoenix started, flashing the object from his pocket to Zeth coyly. Zeth's eyes ballooned as Phoenix showed him his snapped visa card, "Sounds like it's your shout today, Skunk."

Glancing up at the noodle stand, Zeth smirked, giving Phoenix's forehead a flick. "Looks like the ladies have you tied around their finger, Sugar Daddy," Giving Zeth a grim expression as he shoved past Phoenix and bounched up to the noodles stand with the girls to order a bowel on Phoenix's tab, Phoenix reluctantly shuffled to his feet and got out of the car.
"I didn't know that I had a tab here..."
Giving Maya a tap on her shoulder, Zeth popped a Moro bar into Maya's hand (Sorry- donno if Americans have them- chocolate bar with toffee essentially), pointing to Phoenix.
"Here, tell the old man to shove this down his throat. It'll give him a bit of a pick me up after his 'traumatizing ordeal'. Don't tell him it came off his tab though

"No wonder I never had any money..." Phoenix wept Getting a pat on the back by Zeth.
"The truth is a harsh thing, Wright." Zeth smirked, "Maybe next time you'll check the amounts before you sign your life away?"
