Apollo suddenly heard a familiar voice and felt an arm on his shoulder.
"Yo, Justice," he heard Zeth say. "You look upset..."
Apollo looked up and then back down again. He didn't want to talk or listen, but he forced himself to.
"I can see you're bummed, and I know you've been single for a while. Just thought I'd let you know that I know how that feels, so if you need to chat..."
Apollo looked up again and mouthed "thank you" to Zeth. Then suddenly Trucy distracted him. Apollo stood up, wiped his tears and walked over to Sean.
"Hi, uh, I notice that you're a little tense. Is there anything I can do to help, Miss Nishon?"
He felt that if he was formal, it might attract her attention.

At this, Nadine's face visibly fell. He...thinks the spin was...lucky? As Darren leaned forwards again to give the bottle another flick, she felt her eyes stinging. Seeing the nose of the bottle point to Connie yet again was the last straw. Looking at Darren, the tears in Nadine's eyes didn't quite hide the obvious hurt in them, and she got to her feet, briskly walking from the circle in the direction of the first open door she spotted, barely able to see with her blurry vision. Feeling the first tear spill, Nadine closed her eyes and covered them with her hands before coming to a sudden stop as she walked straight into someone. Moving her hands away, she looked up, seeing an incredibly handsome man in a magenta suit. "...sorry," she apologised quietly, wiping her eyes.
((Oh I'm so mean to poor Darren, making Nadine misinterpret everything. XD))

"Is that so?" Klavier mused. Forehead was a good kisser? Just when he thought he had him all figured out. Looks like Apollo had more rolled up those sleeves of his than he had originally thought. Chuckling at the nickname, Klavier gave his hair a quick glide. There was little point in performing for a dead crowd. But the rockstar was pleased with the thought that this woman now had something else to associate him with apart from "noise".
Glancing over to where Ema had gone to, he wondered if they ever got to getting that kiss over with. He was hoping that striking that deal with Justin was motivation enough. His phone would be ringing non-stop if the media found out that he had dined with a man in a skirt. "I'll be checking on our lovebirds." Klavier said, letting out a small grunt as he rose to his feet. "Don't miss me too much, ja?"

Sean quirked her brow as Apollo burst into sobs. She had no idea what went on, but it must have happened while she was busy dealing with Wright's adorable little girl. She was taunting her, that much was obvious. A date with Zeth? How old was she again? Sean figured she was trying to get some sort of reaction out of her, but that wasn't going to happen. Not now that she knew what she was up to.
Shifting her gaze away from them as they left the room, Sean sighed. Alone time with Kristoph Gavin. Fan-fucking-tastic. She'd get her ass back in the circle, but... Zeth was going to be there, and she needed some time out. She'd just have to deal with sharing a table with this bastard. And quite possibly that other bastard in magenta.
She could hear footsteps heading her direction. Speak of the devil. Just before she could snap at him, she heard a voice she wasn't expecting to hear.
"Hi, uh, I notice that you're a little tense. Is there anything I can do to help, Miss Nishon?"
Sean turned her head slowly to the direction of the voice. Sure enough, there stood Pointy. She thought he had left the room with the rest of them. Giving Apollo a quick once-over, Sean shifted in her seat to face him. "If you're up for posing as a live shooting dummy, yeah sure, be my guest." She started slipping her arms into the sleeves of her jacket, only stopping midway to speak again. "And call me Sean. No need to get all prissy."

For a moment the prosecutor hesitated returning to his spot in the kitchen, what with the all the ruckus. Then again that would mean subjecting himself to watch the kissing game progress in the sitting room. Which was the lesser of the two evils? It didn't take long for him to reach a conclusion as the goings-on in the kitchen soon mellowed down. Wright was headed towards the door, where he was standing, Zeth and Trucy following suit. He was just about to step back inside when he felt someone bump against his back.
Miles turned to see that it was... a girl. It was apparent that she had been crying. Being the gentleman that he was, the prosecutor reached into one of the pockets in his jacket and pulled out a neatly-folded handkerchief. "Here," he started, extending it out for the girl to take. "To ease your tears."

Watching Apollo walk over to Sean to talk with her, a small part of him felt EXTREMELY jealous that he had the luxury of not being the reason she was upset and was in a position that he could make it all better. There was nothing more that he wanted to do that moment than to take her in his arms and talk to her till it was all better.
That could wait though. There would be plenty of time to spend with her if she said yes. All he could do now was wait for the game to progress. Hanging his head sadly as he followed Phoenix, it was upsetting having to wait so long for her answer, but she needed some room. IT was in important decision. He just hoped their relationship wouldn't always be like this. Him hanging, waiting for her to respond.... Bumping into Phoenix, Zeth didn't realize that he had stopped to talk to Miles.
Crashing into Phoenix, Zeth stumbled to not get Trucy in the way of his absentmindedness, as he grabbed Phoenix from behind for stability. Surprised from being grabbed from behind by something much larger than his daughter, Phoenix instinctively grabbed onto whatever was closest to him for balance- Miles. Crashing down towards Miles, Phoenix threw his foot out forward to stop them all falling to the floor.
((Donno how hard to want the domino effect to be. Miles might not be effected. If he is, he can deside if he tumbles over Nadine >.> ))

"Huh?" Noticing Nadine dash off as the bottle spun for the darer, Darren wasn't sure what made her humur change so suddenly to upset. Watching her dash off to a good looking man in front of the kitchen door, Darren watched in curiosity as she talked to him. "Nads?"
Not sure what to make of Nadine's helpless act to the man, Darren felt hurt that she had ditched him so suddenly. Sure, I wasn't the greatest company, but she seemed to be happy... right?dipping his eyes, Darren then wondered whether she was actually happy. Maybe she was playing me and thinks I saw through her. Darn it! I feel like such a fool. Why else would she want me? I was hoping for once for a girl NOT like Connie. Disheartened as the bottle stopped at Dawn, Darren looked up at the big breasted woman and sighed.
"Dare... You need to give me a dare, M'lady?" Trying to be as polite as he could she she wouldn't get him to do something horrible, his heart raced in anticipation. What would she make him do?

She twirled her dark hair patiently.
Nathan blinked at Julia for a moment. Here she was, in his lap. He was used to being cold from hockey and all, the rain hadn't fazed him. But he hadn't realized how cold he was until Julia curled up near him. He liked it.
"I could stay here for a long time happily..." She said.
Showing the faintest hint of a smile, he patted her head gently. "I'd like that." He mumbled.

"I'm sorry for bumping into you," she said with a smile. "What's your name?"
"It's quite alright, there is no need for you to apologize." he said reassuringly. Assuming a dignified expression the prosecutor placed a hand to his chest and lowered his head. "Chief Prosecutor Miles Edgeworth, at your service." he rose, "If it pleases you, you may call me Edge--GAAAH!!"
Slamming his hand onto the nearby wall in an attempt to keep his balance it soon balled into a fist. Miles, furious, turned to see who the perpetrator was. He narrowed his eyes. Oh why was he not surprised. "I appreciate your eagerness, Wright, but there are much more civilized ways to engage in conversation."

Klavier walked over to the nearby corridor. It didn't take too long for him to spot where they were standing. He had to admit, he was a little jealous of Justin; the rockstar always seemed to hit a nerve whenever he'd try to ease up on his Fraulein Detektiv. Strolling over to the couple, Klavier flashed his usual smile. "So... should I call for reservations?" he teased, setting his hands on his waist as he leaned forward slightly. "And before you get any ideas, Herr Laws, you should know that you won't get a word out of me about the case," his grin grew wider, "No matter how pretty you look."

"Horrible. After being betrayed and used the way I was, he's the person I would least like to see. If it weren't for the fact that someone who I'm quite fond of was at this party, I'd have left as soon as he arrived."
He growled at Kristoph as he turned back to him.
"How could you, Kristoph? How could you do all those good things for me and just ruin it at the last second! And then you come in to the party as if you're totally innocent when it's obvious you were guilty!"
Apollo stood up and wiped his eyes with his arm. He was upset and annoyed. Of all topics for Sean to bring up, it had to be him.
"I'd like to keep taking, but if I stay in the same room as him for much longer, then I'll be on trial."
He stared at Kristoph, waiting to see who would make the first move, or how Sean would react.

Setting his cup down slowly upon the table, Kristoph's eyes flickered up. "Oh, what's this?" he said, feinting surprise, "For some time I had been resigned to the thought that I had somehow turned invisible." The fallen defense attorney let out a soft chuckle, his expression slowly darkening. "I admire your enthusiasm, Justice, but I will not stand for these accusations." Folding his arms neatly as he always did, Kristoph went on. "Was it not your mentor that had specifically requested for your services during that trial? And is it not true that you had been working under his name since then, aiding him bring into fruition this ludicrous concept of our court system?" Raising his chin, his face assumed a conceited expression. "Enlighten me, Justice... Who had been using who?"

"Alright, both of you clam up before I bust a cap." Sean interjected. Letting out a deep sigh she brought her free hand to the back of her neck and kneaded. What was she thinking bringing up something like that? Then again she was never good at pulling a decent conversation out of her ass, particularly with people she hadn't known for very long. "Look, Pointy. Sorry if that struck a nerve, alright? Didn't think you'd take it that hard." she said, glancing aside with a furrowed brow. "And I'm not really good at playing mediator for this kinda stuff either since I'm usually the one being mediated upon. Sooo... take a breather or something, I dunno." Resting her hand back down, Sean took a quick glance at the conceited ex-defense attorney before turning back to Apollo. "Or you could just ignore the asstard. Not the easiest thing to do, but that's how I keep my rap sheet clean for the most part."

"Uh..." He didn't know why, but he had expected a MUCH worse dare than hugging a girl he already liked. Specially when it'd look like a dare to Connie and not the real thing. He wasn't complaining though. It was good timing actually, "She's not suspecting it now, so I'll do it now then."
Getting up, Darren snuck up behind Nadine with ninja like stealth, hiding his stalk from the silver haired prosecutor. The man was distracted by Trucy's father bumping into him anyways, so he wouldn't see his actions.
Stopping crouched behind Nadine, Darren motioned everyone to remain silent, just before he sprung his attack to glomp Nadine around the shoulders.
Phoenix
"I appreciate your eagerness, Wright, but there are much more civilized ways to engage in conversation."
"Oh, come on Miles," Phoenix grinned, retying up his disturbed robe, "We use to bump into eachother like this all the time when I was still in practice!"
Noticing the pair of rejecting glares from the pair, Phoenix's eyes dulled, wondering what he had just busted into. The girl specially looked offended. Phoenix wondered if she was another victim of Miles' undirected charms.
"I don't think that he butted in on purpose," the girl laughed, as she noticed Zeth behind him. Glancing behind himself, he spotted Zeth standing there with another 'Here we go again' look. Giving Zeth a chuckle also, Phoenix gave Miles a lopsided smirk.
"Seems it wasn't my fault this time. Also," Placing his hand on his waist, Phoenix's smile turned into a friendly one, "You wanted to speak to me? You concerned me that Trucy was in danger, but that's obviously not the case seeing that both her and Zeth seem to still be in one piece." Chuckling, his other hand went up to his head to slick back his disturbed hair, "Perhaps you were wanting to join in a round of Spin the bottle with us?"
Zeth glanced behind himself at Sean, Apollo and Klavier's conversation. Things didn't sound like they were going well there.
"Mr Gavin," Zeth called out to Kristoph, "I do hope you keep in mind our little... 'agreement' with you coming here." Lowering his brows, Zeth gave the ex lawyer a stern look, "You may be innocent of your crimes sir, but it isn't proven, and your comrades certainly will take alot of convincing when it does come to be proven. Placing doubt in their minds wont win them over." Shrugging then, Zeth continued, "Besides, the new justice system would be in your favour this time around. Based off the evidence that I have found so far, we wouldn't even make it into court under the old jurisdiction. The new system will benefit your case tremendously."

Nadine's thoughts were interrupted as she suddenly felt two strong arms grab her shoulders and wrap around her tightly. She just had time to gasp, inhaling a familiar scent before losing her balance, throwing her arms in front of her and tumbling into Miles' chest with an undignified squeal of surprise.

Minuki, I suggest reading through it again. Or someone else could help you out, but I prefer the former. Not a lot has happened so it shouldn't be too difficult to spot where Trucy is at the moment. Quite frankly... it's a bit rude having to ask for those kind of things considering the pace we're moving at and since you've been logging in fairly frequently. It's like a smack in the face.))
Upon hearing Zeth's interjection, Kristoph turned his head towards him and smiled pleasantly. "Of course, Gant, I am a man of my word. I would wish no harm upon anyone here," his expression grew dim, "Unless provoked." Lifting his hand to the bridge of his glasses, he pushed it upward. "Simply put, I will not stand idly by while I am being blatantly ridiculed."
By the door, Miles scoffed at the suggestion. "It's absurd to imply that a respectable man such as myself would join into such a childish game." he said, straightening his lapels as he did so. "And I'm afraid that talk will have to wait. It's not something I wish to discuss in publi--ICK!" Tumbling back in surprise the prosecutor had managed to keep himself from completely losing his footing by grabbing a fistful of Wright's clothing. Miles's expression darkened as he grumbled incoherent words of scorn, staring daggers into the freckled young man.

Trucy giggled as Zeth kissed her forehead, nodding several times. "Yes!"
As Zeth crashed into Phoenix, Trucy tightened her arms around his neck, probably almost suffocating the man. She giggled and wrapped her legs around his waist. "Weee~!" She smiled, rubbing her cheek against Zeth's. "Woohoo! Let's do it again, Mr. Zeth!!!" She hit her heels against Zeth's lower stomach, treating him like a horse almost, still clinging tightly. "Giddy Up!"

Darren glomped around Nadine, causing her to stumble forward and into Miles in surprise. A little embarrassed that his hug turned into something A LOT clumsier than he was accustomed to, he made sure she didn’t fall any further over as he let the other man take care of himself. Fresh. Who the hell does he think he is playing all cool with Nads? Mind you, I'm not exactly her boyfriend yet... Leaning closer to her ear as she held her, he tilted himself on an angle so Connie couldn't see quite what he was doing.
"Nadine, do you like me?" Darren asked quietly, "Cause if you do, spin me in the game, and I'll show you how much I like you back." Letting go of her slightly, Darren frowned, "Till then... I..." Not sure how to tell her that he was Connie's object of torment, Darren gritted his teeth, "Have faith in me for now, K?" Pulling away from Nadine, Darren held his eyes on her for a moment longer before rejoining the circle. Hoping that was enough for Nadine to get that he still liked her, he hoped she wouldn't take it the complete opposite and start clinging onto him even tighter than before. His expression tensed helplessly as the urge to do just that to her was almost unbearable, Darren had to look away. Otherwise, his interest in her would finally lead Connie into doing something he'd regret. Maybe for a long time...
Zeth
"Of corse not," Zeth grinned back at Kristoph, "I wouldn't expect you too..." Yelping then as Trucy wrapped her arms around his neck and started muzzling him firmly, Zeth forgot Trucy's sudden affection for a moment, being taken by surprise by it, "just sit there and take it..." Zeth finished, smiling as Trucy snuggled up to him. She was being a little cuddlier than usual that day. Not that he minded the attention. It took his mind off the big wait- the wait to if Sean liked him or not. It would be unbearable to think about if she let him have the chance. He only hoped that Sean would sometimes be half as cuddly as Trucy if she ever said yes to him.
Feeling her shift to a position that she could hold herself up in, Zeth moved his left arm up to her upper back to support her balance. Chuckling, Zeth tightened his hold on her, "I'm so clumsy today," He joked, backing away from Phoenix carefully, "Maybe I need to go back to pony school?"
"Woohoo! Let's do it again, Mr. Zeth!!!" Trucy giggled, clipping Zeth's waist like a horse,making him jolt slightly in surprise, "Giddy up!"
"Giddy up?" Zeth laughed, giving her a few tight squeezes jokingly, "What, like this?" 'Galloping' on a spot a few times, as a practise, Zeth got the feel for having a plus one finally, before 'giddying up' towards Phoenix once more. Hearing Trucy's giggles of happy, Phoenix turned to see what was so exciting for his daughter only to find Zeth and Trucy collide into him once more. This time however, Zeth was angled so he only ran into Phoenix, and not the wrath of the Demon Prosecutor. Grabbing Phoenix as he rammed him back into the door, the door scooted back a few inches to stop on the door stopper behind it.
"Gah..." Letting out a lung full of air as the double team glomp winded him, Phoenix grabbed Zeth for support, trying not to squish Trucy there in the middle. a moment later, Phoenix regained his composure, wrapping his arms around both of them, resting his head on Trucy's upper back, "Hey there, Princess. Are you and Zeth causing trouble again?"

Noticing Nadine's attitude to him pick up just before he turned away, he released his breath smoothly feeling alot less worried about the game now. Trying not to look TOO pleased in himself he tried to regain focus. Focus on...
Adopting a frown, Darren remembered why he was upset in the first place. He had to kiss Connie. This was bad. VERY bad. Not knowing how much Connie picked up on with what happened to Nadine, Darren walked over to Connie, pausing in front of her. Looking down at her cocky expression ((I assume she's looking at Darren at this point?)), Darren tilted his head to the side trying to bide his courage.
"Now," Darren started thoughtfully, "Are you ready for it?"
((4KidsCigaretteSayu- if you're still following, take this situation how you want. You can be cute and deceitful and stand up to kiss him, or bold and dominant and drag him down to her level and surprise him. Or something else ;) ))

A smirk curved up Kristoph's lips. "I'm glad we've come to an understanding. But be aware that I have no intention of taking back whatever it is that I may have said." Lifting the teacup to his lips, he took a sidewards glance towards his former student. "...It is the truth, after all." It was getting ridiculous, really, how badly Apollo's emotions had distorted his image of his mentor. Had it not occurred to him that Wright had indeed been using him?
Scoffing, Sean shifted in her seat as she slung her necklace back on. She was relieved that Zeth was still around to tame the douchebag down; not a lot of ideas came to mind on how to put him in his place without her having to pull her gun out. But maybe that's just her. There was no way she could forgive this man, not after what he's done to Klavier. He could rot in his cell for the rest of his life, for all she cared. Why did they bother on going over that case again anyway? Kristoph was guilty, clear as day! Sean cast a wary look at Zeth for a moment, only to turn away with a sour expression.
Miles's eyes followed the freckled young man, his grip on Wright's clothing slowly loosening as he regained his composure. He heard the young lady's question, but it did not faze his; he made an effort to look presentable at all times. "I'm fine, there is no cause for worry." he said, straightening his lapels as he did so. "That boy, however..." The prosecutor crossed his arms, his brows furrowed. "It would be best if you turn a wary eye to his overzealous nature towards this game. I know for a fact that most teenagers tend to be... socially proactive."

Eyes flashing wider in fright as Connie loomed over him slightly, Darren's heart raced in panic, not knowing what she was going to do. That face... She HAD to have spotted Darren and Nadine's exchange in interest. It was so obvious. So plain and simple. Exactly how he wanted it to be... and now not to be.
This is exactly what he didn't want.
Biting his lip slightly, he looked at her beautiful, wild eyes looking down at him hungrily. A week later, he could handle this. He would've been with Nadine for long enough that she'd know about Connie and that she was set on making his life misery, but now... There wasn't time. There was never time...
"I... I think you're ready..." Darren squeaked, raising his hand to her face, pausing just beside it, his fingers rejecting back. It was all too late though. The ball had started rolling. He had to see how much faith Nadine had in his feelings for her. Edging forward slightly to just in front of her mouth, Darren got cold feet. Nnnnn... no! This is all wrong! Don't do it! Don't... Gritting his teeth to silence the voices in his head, Darren blanked out his mind fully, before pressing his lips onto Connie's. Feeling his heart sink, he knew this wasn't going to be good.
((She gonna do something during the kiss? It's a double length one. Maybe she wants to French him for extra effect XD ))
Zeth / Phoenix
Chuckling at Trucy's enthusiasm, Phoenix glanced to Zeth, noticing him looking in Sean's direction when she wasn't looking. He looked like he was having fun before, but he seemed to be distracted but Sean, or atleast had his mind on Sean. He must've been hidign it well up until now for Trucy to have not noticed it. Or maybe she did, and this was her way of distracting Zeth off his thoughts?
"Come on Zeth," Phoenix smiled, tugging him towards the circle, "I'm sure you'll be spun soon, and we'll get to the Truth or dare game. Sean will rejoin us then."
Zeth turned to Phoenix suddenly at hearing Sean's name, frowning for a moment before relaxing to a smile, "Uh... Sorry. I don't mean to be a downer..." Zeth chukled, shifting Trucy's position to one more comfortable. "You're right though. Sooner I get spun the..." Glancing at Trucy, he realised that she probably really enjoyed having the adults around for the game. When Truth or Dare started, they'd have to leave her, "Hey, you'll get to snuggle up to Klavier again, right Trucy?" Chuckling, he wasn't too good at reassurance in his currently distracted state, "You have a good crowd of friends out..." Halting in his tracks as Phoenix and Zeth snuck past Miles and Nadine, Zeth spotted Darren and Connie getting down with a VERY heated looking kiss. Suddenly feeling very jealous, Zeth adopted a slightly lonely look.
Sean... He wondered if Sean would kiss him like that... Smiling to himself then, he hadn't even noticed that Darren was so upset by the kiss because of his worry...

Nadine hummed and placed her hands behind her back, rocking on the balls of her feet as she surveyed Miles thoughtfully. "Thanks for the warning," she began carefully, "But I think you ony have such a negative view of romance from those cases. Not ALL couples kill each other. And this is just a game...the point is to be...intimate." She smiled happily at her somewhat formal response.
