I chose #E5CCFF. It's easy on the eyes, you can see it on a dark background, and is also distinct enough to tell apart from other shades of similar colors. The list I provide will look like what I just posted as my side plot.

Mayhaps a #90FEFB cool mint will work? Or perhaps just a #00FFAA sea green?
Also I'm wondering if coloring the entire block of text could be too much. I've another idea for a method in my head that could also work.
See, this block of text here is sea green since it was the last one on my paste for me to add. I'm typing it out to the fifty word limit that Gerk is enforcing so as to see how it would look that way. I might add another block of text with a color under or around it in order to test this a bit more thoroughly.
.:. Another method would be to simply tag the beginning and end of the text with the color like this. That way you only have to simply copy and paste a little code instead of typing it out or arranging the copy and paste accordingly. The solid color blocks are more noticeable, but this one might be easier to read. It also would no longer matter if you picked a color that was hard on the eyes, too dark or too bright, or if colors are similar since we could simply change the tag into something else. .:.
