Aaand... Justin hasn't even read my PM in two weeks, which means Justin Laws has been reset. Let's make it that he never entered the house to begin with to avoid complications. Since he switched clothes with someone, I'll go ahead and say Dawn has her own clothes back on. He's also supposedly the defense attorney for a case Klavier is working on, but since he's out of the picture now I guess the slot is open again for anyone interested. As for that scene with Ema... Nad, let's see if we can make our way around that somehow.))
"Everything alright, Fräulein?" Klavier asked. Why Ema suddenly marched off into an empty corridor, he didn't know. But if she left her Snackoos behind while doing so then there had to be something wrong. He was probably the last person she'd want to see but he couldn't help but feel concerned.

"Well then," Taking the girl's hand, the prosecutor shook it firmly. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Ms. Nadine." He retracted his hand after a short while, his arms crossing yet again. He had done his duty as a gentlemen, and he had done it well. The girl's spirits appears to have been lifted; if not because of him then most likely because of that boy from earlier on. His eyes soon drifted towards the handkerchief he had lent her. "You may keep that." Miles said. "Knowing the nature of this game you might have use for it later on." And besides, he always carried a spare with him should instances like this arise.

But a dreadful series of events had resulted to him being stripped of his badge." he answered, shaking his head ever so slightly in thought. He had read the report on that case, naturally, as he was part of the re-investigation of Kristoph Gavin's charges. "It would be unprofessional of me to divulge the details so I'm afraid that is all I can tell you. If you wish to know more you may approach the involved parties directly."
The prosecutor peered into the kitchen for a brief moment. It wasn't too difficult to notice the air of tension building up inside. Sighing, he turned to her again. "Would you care for some tea? Or would you rather rejoin your friends?"

"I understand," Nadine nodded, acknowledging that Phoenix's fall from his job could hardly be an easy subject. Looking quickly to the game, she regretted it as she saw Connie still glued to the object of her affections. "Sure, I love tea," Nadine said, turning back to Miles with a faint smile. Damn. I bet he saw my reaction to the kissing. Smooth, Nadine.

He wasn't at the very least bit surprised upon hearing her response. Nadine most likely had feelings for that boy; it was only natural that she would choose to steer away from the group for now. That, or she was simply being courteous. "Very well, I'll fetch us both a healthy serving." he said, gesturing to a nearby couch. It had a coffee table situated in front of it, a perfect gathering place for afternoon tea. "I may not be at liberty to say this, but please, make yourself at home. I will be with you shortly." With that the prosecutor gave the girl a brief bow and made his way back into the kitchen, letting out a deep sigh. He only hoped he wouldn't get caught in whatever it was that was transpiring inside.
((If Blade doesn't make a post soon I'll just have Miles come in and out of the kitchen without a word. There's little fun in RPing when you're doing it by yourself.))

Klavier had muster all his willpower at this point to keep himself from breaking into chuckles. But he wanted to see just how far he could go with this. "You know what I'm talking about..." he whispered. The rockstar's gaze shifted to his free hand, tucking a lock of Ema's hair to the back of her ear, and eventually making its way to stroke her flushed cheek gently. "If you want one... all you have to do is ask... ja?" he purred, leaning his face close to hers enough to feel the heat of her breath.

The rockstar slammed his hands against the wall forcefully, trapping Ema in between. There was no way he was going to let things end like this. He advanced slowly towards her, creeping closer and closer, his breathing unnaturally heavy, only stopping with barely an inch separating them. "I know... this is what you want." he muttered. Yes... this was how things should be. A devious smirk crept up his lips. And then...
A plastic bag?
"Here." he said, planting the battered bag of snackoos onto the detective's hand. "I saved it from the wrath of Herr Freckles. I thought you might want to have it back." Taking a step back Klavier smiled, rubbing his cheek thoughtfully as gazed upon his Fraulein Detektiv. His eyes softened. "Well then... I'll be in the circle if you need me." he said, finally tearing his eyes away. "...I'm sorry." And with that he started to walk away, running his fingers through his hair. He was fine. He was... fine.

His words echoed through Ema's mind again. But...I don't.. she thought, utterly confused. However...upon first seeing the rockstar on a poster, she had noted that he had indeed been graced with extreme attractiveness perfect for his career. It was only upon meeting him at work and taking note of his cocky flirtatious demeanor that Ema had found him annoying. And there was that moment of intimate closeness earlier...
As Klavier stepped back, she caught a glimpse of a softness she'd never seen in him before. It was almost tinged with...pain. Concern and guilt immediately plagued Ema's mind. She hadn't meant to hurt him...well she had physically with the slap, but the hurt seemed to have run deep. Glancing down at her hand which was stinging slightly, Ema looked up to see Klavier turning to walk away. Staggering forwards a step, she caught his arm, using the other hand to stow the snackoos in her pocket.

Ema faltered, letting her arm drop from Klaviers. She never was good at apologies, and Klavier treating her almost as if she was about to leap at him didn't help her guilt. "No, not the snackoos...I wanted to..." Pausing again, Ema crossed her arms uncomfortably. "I'm...sorry Klavier." She avoided the rockstar's gaze. He didn't seem to have noticed her uncommon use of his first name earlier, so she hoped it would maybe add sincerity to her apology.

Widening his eyes instantly as Connie's tongue slipped into his mouth, Darren knew for certain that she had figured it out. And she was now doing suu.....
Feeling a wave of emotion zap through him, taking him by surprise, Darren paused his kiss as he began to feel light headed. So violent, yet... Holding his position on her lips as he caught himself back up to his surroundings again, he could tell that she was putting extra effort in his kiss. He had never felt light headed before now kissing her. He was actually beginning to enjoy her dominant actions, leaning him over as if to say that she was boss. That moment even that felt kinda alright...
"No more than 15 seconds per kiss, right Ginger?"
Darren froze on the spot, nearly slipping under Connie's spell before Zeth butt in impatiently. Feeling rather disappointed that i was now over, Darren turned to Zeth.
"So... how long was I?"
"Ten seconds," Zeth grumbled with a bright red face, "It was the longest ten seconds in existence. Oh, and I hope that counts for BOTH kisses, cause otherwise I'm gonna call that you get a ROOM."
"Bu..." Turning bright red also, Darren spotted Nadine sitting on a couch nearby. She seemed upsetWh.... did she see my expression?! W...what is she thinking? I hope I haven't upset her! DARN CONNIE! Why did she have to do that to me?
"No, 10 seconds is more than enough..." Darren replied, covering his face, "I'm just going to pop off to the bathroom for a bit. I don't feel so good..." Leaping up to his feet, Darren dashed off to the toilet, and locked the door behind him. Slamming his back into the door, Darren's face cringed as he slid down the door to the floor and grabbed his hair.
"That witch," Darren hissed angrily, "What does he have against me now? How long is she going to torture me like this? I haven't held onto a girlfriend for over a year now because of her!"

Looking at the bottle with a curious look, Phoenix picked up the bottle and gave it a quick sniff.
"Oh... nasty," Phoenix murmured, "still smells of cheep wine. Now it's cheep stale wine..." Placing it back down into the middle of the circle, Phoenix gave them all a lopsided smile, "I hope you all don't mind. Trucy has asked me to do a spin also."
Giving the bottle a firm flick, he watched the bottle spin quickly, thinking of the days when he too use to play this game. He never use to play it with adults though. He hoped the people he spun weren't too concerned by the age gap.
"Trucy," Zeth chuckled from beside Phoenix as the bottle stopped on his daughter, "You rigged that one, didn't you, you little cheater?"
"Rigged it?" Phoenix smiled, "I play the game of odds just like you do, Zeth." Giving the bottle another flick, he watched the bottle spin a few turns before rolling to a stop, pointing to Zeth. Widening their eyes in shock, both Phoenix and Zeth were stunned.
"Uh, I guess that means that this is the last round that the adults will be here..." Phoenix sweat dropped, chuckling uneasily. Zeth nodded firmly.
((Who is playing Trucy btw? Phoenix will kiss her first.))

Klavier's smile dropped as her words slowly registered into his head. She was serious, he could tell. It was rare for him to receive an apology from Ema outside of work. He would normally crack a joke at this point, but chose not to. He needed to be... professional. Especially after what he had done. "There's no need for you to apologize, Fräulein. You had every reason to slap me." he said, casting a sidewards glance. "I was at fault. I was being too forward."

Hearing a male voice call for the end of Darren and Connie's kiss, Nadine breathed a sigh of relief, relaxing into the couch. I thought that would never end... Seeing a redheaded blur rush past the door in the direction of the bathroom, she sat up slightly in surprise. "Darren?" she called out, confused. Standing, Nadine paused, looking in the direction Miles had headed off in. She sat back down with a sigh, deciding it would be rude to just leave. What's that monster done?

Klavier halted in his tracks. This was the second time she'd stopped him. Why? Was she going to apologize again? He sighed heavily. "Fräulein, it's not your--"
"Fop, listen to me!" she started. "I meant that I should have expected you to... flirt with me! I meant that is was wrong for me to slap you! I meant that I should have just given it a chance!"
His eyes widened in surprise. He didn't hear that wrong, did he? The rockstar slowly turned to face her, staring as if waiting for her to take back what she said. Nothing. But he wasn't entirely convinced. Klavier advanced towards Ema, pinning her back against the wall, recreating the same scene he had placed themselves in just a few minutes ago. He dipped his head, his eyes in level with hers, their faces in very close proximity. "Then let me ask you again." he whispered. "Do you want this?"

Sean quirked her brow. He was just about ready to tear the bastard's head off a few minutes ago, and now he says that? Just what was this guy on? "Uhh... truth or dare starts once someone spins for Zeth in the other room." Which wasn't for a while, she hoped. Following Miles with her eyes as he entered and went on to brew a pot of tea at the far end of the room, she turned to Kristoph with an indifferent expression. "You heard him. 'you joining or not?"
Lowering his cup to the table, Kristoph smiled. "Truth or dare, was it?" he asked, crossing his arms over his chest. "I don't see why not." The fallen defense attorney watched Apollo from the corner of his eye. It was apparent that he was plotting something. What did he have up those rolled sleeves of his this time?

He stood up and went up to the kettle.

Ema realised that it was becoming difficult to concentrate with the prosecutor in such a close position. She unwittingly found herself taking note of things she wouldn't otherwise notice in a normal day to day situation with him. She could feel his blonde hair tickling her forehead. She noticed his smell, which was very faint, but she could smell something musky and spicy about him. Feeling the heat rise to her cheeks again, Ema fought not to avert her eyes from Klavier's. "I don't know," she whispered again, her hands pressed flat against the wall behind her.

Klavier took a minute to take in the sight before him. He always found it endearing to see women blush, more so his Fräulein Detektiv. Truth be told, he wasn't entirely sure of his feelings for her either. But he knew that he felt... attracted to her for some reason. Was it because she constantly rejected his advances? Probably. Or it could be something else entirely. One thing was for sure, he needed to hit the brakes and give it some more thought before he does anything drastic. Everything that has been going on in his life lately, both personal and professional, had taken a toll on his better judgment. This was not a good time to be making decisions.
"In any case, I can see that you're not too keen with the idea of kissing other people. You don't have to force yourself into playing if you don't want to." he said, placing his hands casually over his belt buckle. "Herr Wright mentioned something about truth or dare in the next room. I believe you'd feel more comfortable there."

"My, I see your imagination is as active as always, Justice." Kristoph remarked, a pleasant yet bitter hint in his tone. "But I must decline. I've had my fill of tea. Thank you for the kind offer, regardless."
Sean rolled her eyes and shifted her attention back to Apollo. "Yeah sure, coffee'll do." She'd ask for some booze if she could, but she had a feeling the man of the house wouldn't be too happy with the idea. "How about you, sir? You want anything?" she asked with a raised voice, tilting her head to see what the prosecutor was up to.
Miles was just about done brewing tea at this point. "Some peace and quiet would be lovely..." he grumbled. Clearing his throat the prosecutor raised his voice loud enough for the others to hear. "No thank you," he answered, rummaging through the cupboard for anything closely resembling a teacup. "I have a prior appointment. A young lady in the living room is expecting her afternoon tea."
"Young lady?" Sean echoed, her face twisting slightly in disgust. "Aren't you a little too old to be hitting on those kids?"
Miles scoffed at the remark but did nothing more, a now fully-furnished tea set on hand. It was the right decision to keep away from the kitchen. He lifted the tray from the counter and made his way to the door. "Enjoy yourselves, gentlemen." he said, narrowing his eyes at Sean before leaving the room.
An ominous aura started to emanate from the trigger-happy detective. "Scratch the coffee, Pointy. Hit me up with something strong." she said through gritted teeth, staring daggers through the door.

((I already did the alternate spin for you which included everyone involved in the game regardless of whether they're in the circle or not (14-sided dice). And this is what honestly came out. xD On another note... that sounds like some really serious stuff. Do tell Minuki I wish she gets better soon. And that's not because of the RP. :C

Looking at the bottle with a curious look, Phoenix picked up the bottle and gave it a quick sniff.
"Oh... nasty," Phoenix murmured, "no longer smells of cheep wine. Now it's cheep vinegar..." Placing it back down into the middle of the circle, Phoenix gave them all a lopsided smile, "I hope you all don't mind. Trucy has asked me to do a spin also."
Giving the bottle a firm flick, he watched the bottle spin quickly, thinking of the days when he too use to play this game. He never use to play it with adults though. He hoped the people he spun weren't too concerned by the age gap.
"Well, this is an interesting surprise," Watching it stop upon Connie, Phoenix glanced up at the boisterous female who's kiss made one of the kids have to leave the room in a rush. He didn't know who she was, but she reminded him a bit about a girl in his own journeys... about 7 years ago. The woman was dead now, but what she did to those that he loved... to himself... he'd never forgive her. Yet, he still looked towards her with a smile.
Dahlia Phoenix thought to himself, She reminds me of Dahlia. Pretty, but with the claws of a lion. Something she said or did upset one of Trucy's friends. I don't doubt for one second that she'd take advantage of me somehow too. His smile turning into a stiff grimace, Phoenix turned back to the bottle, not noticing Zeth's chuckle from beside him at his expense.
"Well, time for the second spin!" Phoenix smiled, tapping the bottle a few times, "Here's to good luck!"
"That doesn't work unless I do it, Wright," Zeth smirked, teasing Phoenix with the waving of his finger cheekily, "If I'm not the one taping it, you may as well say it's cursed. It's now likely to roll on me."
"This is my lawyer finger tap," Phoenix replied, holding up his pointing finger, "It's never done me wrong untill now."
"Have you ever been lucky with it since you were a lawyer though?" Zeth retort as the bottle bounce around to a stop. Pointing at Zeth. Zeth looked at the bottle with a dull expression for a moment before turning to Phoenix, "Now SEE? Your finger is cursed! You should've gotten me to tap it a few times!"
"Uh, I guess that means that this is the last round that the adults will be here atleast..." Phoenix sweat dropped, chuckling uneasily. Zeth paused for a moment, thinking about what Phoenix had said. It was true. Then, he could find out Sean's true feeling for him. Zeth's eyes glazed over for a moment, star struck at the thought. What will she say?
Getting up off the ground, Phoenix readjusted his robes, and walked over to Connie. Offering his hand down to her, Phoenix gave her a pleasant smile, wondering if maybe she want going to give him a quick kiss since he was alot older than her. Who knew?
((OK, 4kids, Phoenix is wearing bedroom robes, and boxers, no shirt. If you feel like being fresh, Phoenix could POSSIBLY be talked into it considering how much of a pervert he is XD It'd need to be hot though- not like Darrens. :) Have fun! ))

"It's nothing of importance." the prosecutor answered, setting the tray carefully onto the table. The teapot bore markings suggesting it was being used frequently. Two cups rested upon saucers sat at one end of the tray, along with a small container filled with sugar. "Be careful, the kettle is considerably hot." he warned as he sat himself on the couch. "I prefer my tea unaccompanied, though I've heard this blend goes particularly well with honey. Regrettably I could not find any amongst Wright's belongings. Sugar would be a suitable alternative."

Nadine smiled slightly, barely managing not to sprint to the bathroom to see Darren. "Seems you're quite the tea expert," she said, glancing in the direction of the bathroom. She pulled her sleeve down over her hand so that she could grab the teapot without being burned and poured herself a small amount. Heaping one teaspoon with sugar, Nadine added it to the tea and stirred it slowly. "So..." I never was good at starting conversation. Particularly in front of hot guys. At this thought, her eyes wandered to the bathroom again of their own accord.
