Xero rose an eyebrow. "As you wish. She was following Norman around as he talked to Maya about the book. This happened in the dining area, before the conversation in the Winding Way. He was discussing to her about disclosing some information about the spirit mediums and their methods, and offered her some money in return. She said that she would agree, under the condition that he would give the Kurain Village the money, and not herself. He agreed to that condition, and he and Dahlia walked off. Norman sat in the kitchen, while Dahlia went to the Side Room. Not long after, Norman went to the Winding Way and looked around, amazed at the place. Maya had followed him and decided to talk to him about what he needed for his book. And that's when the rest happened."

"The bag was used to get various statues from the Manor," said Xero. "There were too many, and someone had gotten Maya to get them and put them in the bag, so to make room for more things. The glass shards came from a broken glass statue."

He then shrugged. "The bag had been lying in the Winding Way, it was going to be put into storage but Maya didn't have enough time to do so that night."

If you were able to see all of this you must of not been in the dining room. The only way you would have known about the murder is when Dahlia screamed!

Xero just smiled. "You cannot determine exactly where I was. I could have been near the door. If I said I saw the murder, then obviously I was near the door. You cannot disprove that; there's no evidence to back it up."

Xero interrupted. "Wouldn't putting Dahlia in jail for trying to frame you AND Maya do well enough? After all, it would be you who prosecuted her!" But then the Judge smacked his gavel, and Maya began her testimony.

:testimony:

-Before the Murder-

1. I ate dinner with everyone, and then went to meet with Mr. Bolts.

2. He said to me, "I need information about the Fey Manor and Kurain Village. If you can help me out, I'll let you have some of the profits I'll gain from this book."

3. I agreed, but then saw Dahlia come up behind Mr. Bolts, so I took the bag up...

4. I swung around Mr. Bolts, but missed. She quickly took her chance, swiping the bag from me and attempting to hit me back.

5. She missed me, but hit Mr. Bolts and smacked his head to the ground.

6. I fainted after that.
