She trailed off and looked down. "Anyway, you have nothing to apologize for. Everyone's shy at some point in their lives."

Chase followed Bry into the kitchen, looking at everything as he passed through the apartment. "This really is a cool place you've got, babe," he said, feeling less groggy from his sleep.

Bry smiled over her shoulder at Chase, placing a few slices of bread into the toaster and pushing the lever down. "Thanks." She gestured at the small table in the kitchen. "Sit down, my toaster takes a while." She slid herself into a seat, sighing tiredly before smiling up at Chase.

Chase waddled over to a seat and plopped down into the chair. He ran a hand through his hair to get it out of his eyes and sneezed. He felt his stomach rumbling and stood up, looking at the whole room.

Satoshi blushed as Lida patted him on the back and pointed at her. Oh, and she called him a goose. He always thought he was more of a turkey or a chicken. He thanked her as he walked into the house and looked at how clean it was in comparison to his flat. Sure, rubbish tips were cleaner than his flat, but he didn't feel that was something he needed to tell her anytime soon. "So, uhm, ...do, you want to, uh, talk about what happened?"

"Y-yes, of course," Lida replied, closing the door once everyone had entered. "Would you like to sit down?" She indicated a couch, the only place to sit in the living room besides a beanbag chair. "Er...I would have more furniture, but I usually don't get visitors...Take whichever seat you want." She eyed Satoshi carefully. Didn't he say earlier he had something to tell her, maybe two? Did he want to tell first, or does he want me to start? I think he already knows just about all there is to know about what happened...
But not the circumstances leading up to it... Lida sighed.
"Um...Feel free to talk and ask questions...Would anyone care for any drinks? I have water, homemade lemonade, apple juice...I have a coffee maker so I could make coffee...And...uh...Well, whatever you'd like..."

Bry propped her head on her hands, elbows resting on the table, and watched Chase as the toast cooked. It was strange - usually, men wouldn't be so easy to stay the night. If they did, they'd well...try to go too far. Thinking back to his sedatives, her smile faded slightly. Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of toast springing back up, so she got up hurriedly to sort it out.

Chuckling slightly at his oddly affecting groan, Bry finished buttering the toast and thrust a laden plate into Chase's chest wihh a grin. "Go on then, before you die of hunger." Picking up her own plate, she slid back into her seat, taking a bite out of her food with a groan of her own. She hadn't realised how hungry she'd been until that bite.

Chase took the plate gratefully and gobbled it down greedily. His hunger was never really sated; he was always hungry. After he'd finished the toast, which only took about a minute, he looked up with a contented smile at Bry, like a puppy.

((I just spent an hour+ reading most of te story, and I think im going to post here, hopefully I can remain active and have some more active people, even though im in here late in the rp))

Falling forwards slightly as her kiss was met with empty air, Bry fell back and let go of Chase's hands. Clearly, her 'change of subject' had been unsuccessful. He'd noticed. Strangely perceptive for someone she'd just met, she noted.

Turning to flick through her clothes, Bry sighed, biting her lip. "I just...don't worry. It's silly. I..." She paused in her clothes shuffling. "...You like me, right?" The emphasis on the sentence, oddly, was on the word 'me'.

"Because yesterday...when you had to take the sedatives.." Bry blushed, remembering the circumstances. "It was because you might...go too far right? ..Physical stuff." Bry was torn, because her real issue was that yeah, Chase may have made it clear that he found her attractive, but she wasn't sure he knew who she WAS. It was weird being that intimate with someone who may not even know your personality.

Smiling in relief, Bry finally met Chase's gaze. "Oh, I see." Super human hyper? Despite that obviously being a bad thing, she couldn't help but be curious. However, she wouldn't purposely induce it on him for her own human curiousity. That would just be wrong. Clearing her throat, she gestured at her clothes. "See anything you like?"

Bry quickly undressed and pulled her new clothes on, inspecting her face in the mirror for any blemishes. Satisfied that she was looking decent, she re-emerged from the bathroom, a big smile on her face.
