Edit: Figaro gave me the OK to capture him
Zarran narrowed his eyes as Dies emerged from the dust. What was he doing?! It was supposed to be Exo who would be caught. Ah well. This would suffice he supposed. He slipped past everyone, grabbed Dies, and disapeared. He reappeared in a cell. It was blank. No windows, and no door. A machine was standing near the celing. "Don't even think about ripping that off. It's the only thing providing you with oxygen. We found a metal that repell all waves. That includes brain waves, so don't bother." He teleported away.

Exo realized Steel wasn't saying anything. Perhaps he was reflecting again? She felt her energy come back quickly.
"Steel. My teleporter...It hasn't returned to me yet. I'm not sure what happened to it or if Dies still has it, but I have to go...To the Legion's Headquarters and save Ophelia. Don't come with me, please. I can't...Risk...Losing you. Cover for me, okay?" She smiled at Steel, pretending to be confident. But she knew that she might be captured. Might not return for a long time. With that, she jumped out the window ((after opening it, of course)) and rolled upon hitting the ground. Then, she got back up and walked, taking her time with examining everything, making sure it would all be fresh in her mind. She then took off, running toward the Legion H.Q. and hoping she would find and save Ophelia.

She blinked. Dies?
Realizing she had taken too long to answer, she quickly nodded and said, "Understood, sir."
She turned off the heel of her foot and went.

The further down Carmen went down the stairs, the more closed off her mind felt. It wasn't just that there weren't many people in that closed off sector of the HQ. It was the big blank spaces in her mental sight. Whenever someone blocked their mind to her she could still feel them but it was just a little wall in her reality as opposed to these rooms that were capable of cutting her off fully from the rest of the world.
While her past self may have cherished the existence of those rooms the Carmen now hated them. They were practical for dealing with psychics but if there was one thing she had had literally and figurative beaten into her was to never fully close your mental view. She still had scars from Killey's lessons of how vulnerable it left you and now she was about to willingly walk into what those lessons had taught her not to do.
She came to a door that blinked with a red light that showed it was occupied and punched in the combination. After hearing a click, she pushed it open and stepped inside, letting the door swing back into place as she went.
Instantly, she felt the oppressive barriers around all sides of her mental view. All that remained in her mental view was one mind.
She dropped the bag of tools onto the ground with a loud clatter of ominous sounds. She said, after a moment, "I didn't expect to see you anytime soon."

Carmen knelt for her bag and began slowly pulling out various tools that ranged from a simple candle to a serrated pair of handcuffs to an elaborate device she wasn't sure what it was for exactly but she used it for cracking bone. With each item she made sure Dies saw each one she pulled out, not bothering to explain what they were or what they were for. One of the old tricks in D.I.G. was to let the interrogated imagine for themselves.
