Klavier's eyes followed the teenager as he walked over to the circle before directing his attention back to Ema. Accident or not, it needn't be said that Alex made a bad first impression on him. Brushing the thought aside, the rockstar placed his hands on his sides and leaned forward, a cheeky smile up his lips. "Oh?" she cooed, "Would you rather I try to steal a kiss then?"

Finally seeing a sense of normality return to the situation Sean turned her heel only to see Zeth engaged in conversation with a woman in a pink frilly dress. Her eyes narrowed towards her. She was pretty sure she hadn't come across this chick before, but it appeared like she was a good friend of Zeth's.

Friend?

"Tch." was all she managed to say as she strolled back over to the kitchen door. Leaving it open she leaned her back against it, crossing her arms over her chest, taking a quick glance inside the kitchen before shifting her eyes back to the group. Another troublemaker had joined the ranks, and Sean figured this was the only way she could keep an eye on both.

Ema frowned at Klavier, crossing her own arms over her chest. This was extremely forward, even for him. He'd usually stick to the light flirting and teasing, so directly saying a provocative word like 'kiss' was extremely out of character. "Erm," she said, raising an eyebrow at the prosecutor. "I think that quesion answers itself." Somehow, she didn't have the heart to give him an outright no. After all, he'd just been tackled to the groun by a teenager and there was a fangirl present.

"Ffff..." Coughing for a moment, as her confession took him by surprise, Darren didn't know how to handle hearing that a girl like HER had liked him that long and he hadn't seen it. Turning back to her, Darren's eyes were wide, "Five years? So you liked me even when I had braces, before I joined the hockey team?" Thinking about it some more, Darren turned red, "Damn it... I picked on your friends alot when I was younger. Darn it, they were so annoying. I'm glad you're not friends with them now..."

"I think the term 'mortal enemies' popped up at one point," Alex said endearingly, "It was love at first fight obviously."

"Uh..." Darren started, "Actually, I think that was during a spin the bottle game at school, and I rolled her." Glancing back to Nadine, he smiled. "I never did give you that kiss, did I?"

"I guess I'm a bachelor till then though."

Noticing Sean storm past him just after he said this, Zeth's eyes widened in fright, not knowing if she heard what he said and read him wrong. Putting his hands together and twiddling his thumbs together, he looked thoughtful for a moment.

"Screw this," Zeth suddenly stated, "I'm going to the kitchen." Storming over to Phoenix then, Zeth gave Phoenix's leg a boot. "Wright you slow poke, I'm getting sick of waiting."

"I've only just spun..." Phoenix retort thoughtfully, turning to Zeth, "Why, are you wanting to go to the kitchen? I thought you said that you weren't going to influence Sean?"

"I'm not," Zeth replied, "I want a cigarette though, and I can't do that if I'm in the middle of a spin, so pucker up." Twitching uneasily, Zeth pointed to his face, "And don't make this any more awkward for us than it already is, OK?"

"You wearing my old sweatshirt makes it already already pretty awkward as it is, don't you think?" Phoenix smiled, getting to his feet. Phoenix then stepped up to Zeth, placing a hand on each of his cheeks, "You know that you're gone from the game after this, right? I'll be starting up the adults game in the kitchen next."

"Yeah, yeah," Zeth retort, feeling flustered as the warmth of his hands on his face was surprisingly comforting. Just pretend that they're Sean's hands, Zeth thought, It's not as if you know what she feels like. Maybe this will be as good as it gets...

Noticing Zeth's attitude plummet suddenly, Phoenix frowned. It was obvious that he needed to smoke to calm down his feelings for her. Hadn't he had at least 2 opportunities to smoke before now though? Bringing his mouth to Zeth's ear, Phoenix hushed his voice.

"Don't panic, Zeth," Phoenix whispered, "She'll say yes. I'm sure of it." Glancing towards the side of Phoenix's head, Zeth's expression relaxed slightly, as a slightly hopeful look appeared on his face.

"Sure of it?" Zeth breathed, "How much would you bet on it?" Chuckling, Phoenix moved his head back to in front of Zeth.

"You fool." Tilting his head to the side slightly, Phoenix carefully removed Zeth's glasses, "Not everything can be gambled with, Skunk." Phoenix then closed the gap between their lips then, giving Zeth a kiss. Phoenix wasn't sure how long he kissed him before he pulled away, Zeth looking at him with a more assertive expression. Putting Zeth's glasses back on his face, Phoenix gave the man in his early 20s a smile, "Now, put a smile on your face and be positive. See, she's looking at you now." Waving at Sean by the kitchen door, Phoenix tried to distract Zeth's train of thought. "How about you go talk to her. I think Trucy's friend tackling Klavier worked her up abit." Zeth tried to mumble something, trying not to look at Phoenix. It felt nice to be kissed. He just wish it was atleast by a girl, and not Phoenix.

"Alright then." He whispered scooting off towards Sean.

Grinning at the nostalgia, Nadine turned to the two boys, trying to remember the spin the bottle game. "Wasn't that when we were like, fourteen?" she said, an enndearing image of Darren at that age coming to mind.

Tascha listened to Darren's anecdote about the game of Spin The Bottle that had brought him and Nadine together and smiled, glancing over at Alex. He's pretty cute... The only problem is that isn't all that interested in girls. Maybe I should talk to him about something he is? As an experienced fangirl, she knew of many, many ways to get attention, but since most of them would be considered somewhat...inappropriate in polite company, she decided to settle for less extreme methods. "So you guys are both on the hockey team, huh? I used to figure skate until I shattered my kneecap on the ice- now I just do swimming and a bit of athletics. And Nadine, you're a cheerleader aren't you? I always wanted to try out, but I figured pompoms weren't really my thing!" she laughed.

((Note: That wasn't intended to sound as though Tascha is belittling Nadine XD))

Theresa chewed her lip, a slightly worried expression on her face as Zeth went off to confront Sean. Oh God, I hope she doesn't turn him down.... Turning to Phoenix, she gave a weak smile. "So Zeth's off to get his happy ending. What about you? Do you have a special someone?" she asked. And strangely enough, Theresa didn't feel embarrassed at all about asking this- instead she felt as though she should have asked him this much earlier. Phoenix was a sweet guy after all and he knew she hadn't done it. He'd stood up in court and defended her, the woman who always insisted on fighting her own battles. And it was hard to find someone like that.

Turning to Tascha in surprise, Nadine felt a certain resentment towards the girl for ruining the three close friends' moment. Nadine had seen her around school before, but they didn't really talk. So why is she talking to us..? Face splitting into a wicked grin, Nadine looked from Tascha to Alex. Riight. Much as she resented her for butting in on their moment, she did honestly want Alex to have someone. She nudged Darren and nodded her head towards them both.

((Yeah, Tascha does do things like that a lot... She doesn't mean to upset people, she just doesn't think before doing stuff i.e. totally wrecking their little special moment XD))

Darren thought for a moment, trying to think of where they were when that game happened.

"Could've been!" He suddenly laughed, giving Alex an elbow, "That was school camp, eh? Where you had to kiss Gertrude the devourer of souls."

"DON'T REMIND ME." Covering his face in horror, Alex leaned away slightly, "Why on EARTH did you guys let her play? You KNEW she kissed like that! Did you think it was funny or something?"

"Hardly," Darren grinned, giving Alex a nudge on the shoulder, "You knew I had to let her join in if I was going to get her twin sister to play. Carl would've KILLED me if I let Samantha in and not Lucy! I just... warned you AFTER your kiss... that's all!" Scowling at Darren irritably, Alex didn't know how to reply. He would've done it to Darren for the laughs. It must've been inCREDIBLY funny to watch him getting his face devoured off by Gertrude's mouth.

"So you guys are both on the hockey team, huh?" Someone suddenly asked. Alex turned around to see the girl that asked him about his rake before, "I used to figure skate until I shattered my kneecap on the ice- now I just do swimming and a bit of athletics. And Nadine, you're a cheerleader aren't you? I always wanted to try out, but I figured pompoms weren't really my thing!"

"Oh," Alex started, giving her a sympathetic look, "That's a real shame. I injured my knee once. It's not a great feeling..."

"Didn't you do figure skating once, Alex?" Darren asked, "It was a few years ago. You were pretty good at it, but they told you to quit cause you were too rough on the skates."

"Oh, yeah!" Alex laughed, recalling his figure skating days, "My coach said I was like watching a rhinoceros on skates, and that I should go back to bashing people with sticks. That was just before I was invited into the nationals with you." Laughing, Alex hadn't noticed Nadine's cheesed off expression, but Darren could feel it behind him.

"Hey, babe," Darren smiled, "You joined as a cheerleader when I went national, didn't y..." Noticing her expression change again as she realised what the girls was doing, Nadine nudged Darren towards the to of them. Turning around, Darren looked at Alex chuckling, with Tascha beside him eager to get his attention. Widening his eyes, he realised what was going on.Tha... She likes Alex... doesn't she? I wonder if I looked as cluely as e does right now? I wonder how much she likes him? Looking at Tascha, she looked like she was mostly trying him out for now, but that's where most dating starts, right?

Leaning over to Alex, Darren went up to his ear, "Yo, Alex. You'll want to pay some more attention to her. She's hitting on you."

"What?" Alex replied, trying to keep his voice down. "What are you talking about?"

"She's approached and tried to start conversation with a guy she doesn't know." Darren rolled his eyes, "Gesh, man. You're so clueless."

"And since when did YOU become Captain expert on dating?" Alex grinned, "Nads has liked you for 5 years and you never realised."

"That's DIFFERENT." Darren growled, giving him a look, "Now invite the girl to sit down beside you and you'll see for yourself." Alex rolled his eyes,

"What ever, Jones. She's just making conversation..." Looking up to Tascha, Alex offered a spot beside him, "You want to sit down?"

Watching Zeth walk off, Phoenix smiled to himself. Trucy had been bugging him for years to do the same thing, but he had lost his confidence over the years. What did he have left to give back to a woman? A dodgy job, an adopted daughter that wasn't theirs that brings in most of the money they live off. Oh, and he couldn't even play the piano. Atleast when he had a badge, he had hope. Now though?

Glancing away, Phoenix went to sit down as a voice crept up on him

"So Zeth's off to get his happy ending. What about you? Do you have a special someone?" Glancing back to the voice, Theresa approached him with an interested smile. Chuckling shyly, Phoenix took a quick glance around, noticing he was in a full room of teenagers, all with ears. IT was ok if they talked about this kind of stuff, but people hiS age talking about love?

Biting his lip slightly, Phoenix paused before going up to Theresa. Stopping in front of her, Phoenix seemed a little uneasy about the conversation.

"Now isn't really the place to talk about this, sorry," Phoenix smiled, tilting his head to the side slightly, "but no, I don't have a special someone at the moment." Unsure why his hand went up to her arm as he said this, he unconsciously gave her a reassuring stroke, holding his eyes there for a moment longer, before he turned around to return to Trucy. Bending down to Trucy's hight, Phoenix's eyes froze, realising what his hand just did.

Wh.... what was that all about... I... Glancing at his hand, he didn't even realise that he had done what he did till then. He could still feel the texture of her uniform on his finger tips. Closing his eyes for a moment then, Phoenix smiled, You're crazy, you old man. Are you still even CAPABLE of feelings after what Dahlia did to you?

Nadine grinned as Darren's cluelessness seemed to not be present as he realised that Alex was being hit on. She snuggled up to his side and rest her head on his shoulder. So much matchmaking tonight.. she noted lazily, an arm sneaking around Darren's torso.

Tascha smiled- it looked like Darren and Nadine had picked up on her attempts to hit on Alex. Sure, he didn't look massively interested now, but she was only just getting started... "You want to sit down?" Alex asked and she nodded with a smile, sitting down in the spot next to him, curling her legs underneath her. Tascha glanced into the circle at the empty bottle waiting for the game to begin. Maybe luck will be on my side? Or maybe it needs a little helping along... she thought. She needed a backup plan if that was the case.

"Now isn't really the place to talk about this, sorry," Phoenix said, "but no, I don't have a special someone at the moment." Well, at least it's not an outright rejection. I can wait...now that I know there's something to wait for. Theresa could still feel the imprint of his hand on her arm and felt a deep blush of colour spread over her face, remembering the way he'd looked at her the moment before he'd turned away. Agh, what's wrong with you? Bad things happen to people you love... Wait, did I just say love? She gave a slight sigh and knocked her hand against her forehead. Finally, there was something she couldn't rationalise.

Staring at the sassy detective for a few more moments, Klavier shuffled in his spot, gliding his fingers through his hair. There wasn't much point in bringing it up now. "In any case," he said, "Let's head back to the group."

Sean had been watching everyone in the living room with jaded eyes. It almost felt like being on duty for a Gavinners concert but without the raging fangirls. A whole lot less action, but a whole lot less headaches. She hadn't decided yet whether it was a good thing or not.

The trigger-happy detective has been paying particularly close attention to her two-toned friend. Not that she'd openly admit it, mind you. She watched as he strolled over to Phoenix and was taken by great surprise when their lips locked. Oh hell no. But she managed to compose herself again by the time Zeth began to head towards her direction. Sporting an indifferent look she stared at him a while, her eyes shifting back to the group. "...Never knew you were into dudes."

Being caught slightly off guard at Sean’s sudden statement, Zeth covered his mouth in defense for a moment, realizing that she wasn’t there for the spin. That, and she probably realized that it was to do with the game. Removing his hand to show a bashful smile, Zeth casually strolled up to the door, leaning on the other side of the door frame beside her. Looking at her expression, the statement sounded less cheeky, and more insecure. Poor Sean. I guess I sent her on more of a spin than I thought I did.

“Oh, you mean Wright?" Zeth asked light heatedly, hoping to lighten her mood a little, "Yeah, I keep him hanging every now and then. He keeps thinking he can have me- why destroy his poor little world by saying that I'm not interested?"

Hoping his sarcasm wasn't too thick for Sean to notice, Zeth chuckled to himself, turning to her, hoping her mood had lightened.

"So," Zeth started, all of a sudden feeling rather awkward. He felt like he was talking to a girl he had had a crush on for years and he didn't want her to know it. Like a teenager. He thought he has gone past the need for beating around the bush, "do you want to chat around the back? I promise to keep the conversation light."

Watching Tascha sit down, Alex glanced at Darren and Nadine expectingly, not sure if they were going to force more advice at him. Prepared to refuse ANY advice thrown at him till he even liked her slightly, Alex glanced back to the bottle at the center of the room. Normally, Alex was game for dare type games, but Spin the bottle was one he always avoided for this simple reason. Girls. Maybe if it weren't for Gertrude he'd be fine with it? Who knows? They never turned out good for him though...

Feeling an arm sneak around his back, Darren noticed that Nadine seemed alot more comfortable now that he seemed more clued up than before and realised just how much he did mean to her. Feeling pretty proud of himself, Darren's face hammed up to a grin as he slung his arm around her proudly as well.

No Connie around, Nadine was in his arms, and his best friend had finally made it to the game. Darren was extremely happy.

Sean dismissed the suggestion with a scoff. "Where I can't keep an eye on that little punk? Don't be ridiculous." she answered, glaring at Alex from afar. An awkward silence filled the air yet again. She glanced over to Zeth for a moment before looking back over to the busy group, shifting slightly on her spot. "We can talk here."

Charisa sightend. She looked around. Her eyes passed Darren and Nadine. Uh? was that.. Charisa looked back and examined Darren. 'It really is him..' She said. She froze. Why is he here? And.. who is that girl? It isn't Connie right? She glanced at Joey for a moment. 'I have to ..' She started, but she couldn't finish her sentence.

Sarah looked at Miles, and decided to take a seat. She looked at Miles. He sure is quiet. Why did Phoenix send me here anyway? .. He had to handle something at Trucy's party right? She stood up and looked around, looking for something to drink.

Ema nodded, stuffing her hands in her pockets and wandering back over to the circle for the second time. Looking at Phoenix, she cranes her head back over her shoulder to Klavier. "Hey. Is the game splitting now?"

Peeking up at Darren to see his undoubtedly happy expression, Nadine's face matched his grin. Bless him. With a contented sigh, she looked around the room, squeezing Darren's waist as he slung an arm around her. Seeing a familiar face she hadn't seen arrive, Nadine's expression froze in place.

...Charisa? She had been friends with her before, but then she'd gone out with Darren, even knowing full well how much Nadine liked him. By doing this, Charisa and Nadine unsurprisingly lost heir friendship.

Turning her face away, Nadine's arm tightened possesively around her boyfriend. She can't ruin this.

Charisa stared at Darren and the girl. Wait.. wait.. That's Nadine! Charisa remembered their friendship before. It wasn't my fault that he liked me more.. Charisa looked at Darren. Wait a second.. Charisa tought of Connie for a second. Why.. Nadine should know about her right? 'I..' Charisa looked at Joey. 'I don't feel good..' She whispered. Nadine always was a good friend.. Why would she.. Is she trying to.. Charisa closed her eyes. Calm down, just calm down now.

“He…Hey!” Darren yelped as Nadine’s grip on his arm tightened like a tourniquet on his arm with her fingernails. Looking at her with a slight wince in one of his eyes, Darren realized that she was looking darkly at something. Turning to where she was looking, Darren face flushed pale as he spotted Charisa looking straight at them. GAH! Charisa! What is she do…. of corse…. she’s friends with Trucy. Oh man… this is awkward. Connies here, now Charisa… IS today going to be an ex girlfriend collection day, specially now that… Glancing back to Nadine, Darren’s mindset paused for a moment. Weren’t those two best friends at some point? Pausing to think about when they stopped being friends, he couldn’t quite remember the instance… One day they were friends the next… they weren’t.

((Darren isn’t just being clueless here. I’m assuming that since he doesn’t know that Nadine liked him that the two of them broken in a different place than he was in at the time. Question though- why did they break up? Cause of Connie? Or something else?))

Grumbling under his breath as the impatience twitch of being denied a cigarette was now the second thing he had to deal with while he waited for that damn game to finish. Looking at Phoenix with an anxious look, he wished that the old man would hurry up and kiss his daughter. He just HAD to know what Sean's feeling were for him.

"We can talk here."

Glancing over to Sean, she had already looked back at the group when he laid eyes on her. Zeth frowned, She wont even look at me now. I feel like a monster. It's so difficult to only ask for her presence as company when we're like this...

"Ok," Zeth replied softly, following Sean's eyes to the kid that bowled over Klavier just 5 minutes earlier. Watching him sky lark off with Darren and that shy girl he seemed to have hooked up with, Zeth got the impression that he wasn't a bad kid- maybe his lifestyle made him the type to do first and think later. A sport mayb... Noticing Phoenix touch the arm of one of the older women in the room, and lock eyes for a second longer, Zeth spotted a familiar expression in his eyes.

Loneliness.

Watching him turn away from the woman, Zeth frowned in interest, tapping Sean's arm, "Did you see that?" Zeth asked softly, "Wright and that woman..." Pausing his finger in mid tap, he wondered if that was actually apparent to anyone else. He knew he could tell certain emotions when he saw them, even micro emotions, and that Trucy could tell your mood somehow, but it wasn't a common gift. Glancing towards Sean, Zeth smiled, shaking his head. She didn't need to be burdened by everyone else's love lives too, "No, don't worry about it. It's probably nothing." Chuckling to himself, he was pleased that Wright FINALLY seemed to be letting go a little, enough to at least inadvertently attempt to be with another woman. He had had a hard life. The old man deserved better.

"Oh, sorry." Nadine loosened her grip to a more comfortable one, looking away from Charisa to smile apologetically at her new boyfriend. That's right. He's mine now. Charisa can't do anything, her mind babbled on. She leaned her head back onto his shoulder, trying to stop her thoughts from straying to darker territory.

Charisa became confused. She knows i'm looking at her. She's just trying to upset me. But.. She knows about Connie right? I mean.. Since she loved Darren, she would follow our relation, right? Charisa just sat there, not really doing anything but look at the two. Darren seemed shocked. He didn't expect me to show up here i guess. Charisa stood up and walked to Darren and Nadine. She just realized what she was doing when she was right in front of them.

"Ca.... Charisa!" Darren blurted out, as if her name wasn't already known between the group of friends, "It's good to see you again!" Stopping himself straight after saying that, he realized how unusual it was for him to say that. Why did I say that? She's my ex girlfriend. I should be saying something meaner! I mean, we're over with, so why do the whole friends thing? Feeling slightly flush, Darren figured he could nod his lapse of better word judgment down to him just being friendly. That what he was doing after all. Just cause Nads and her were enemies now didn't mean he had to be. Feeling more relaxed now he worked it out in his head, Darren managed a smile again. After all, she wasn't that bad of a girlfriend. She certainly knew how to kiss too...

Glancing away from the two girls as he remembered his break up kiss, Darren started to feel slightly light headed. IT was a REALLY good kiss. This might be harder than he thought it'd be...

Laughing to hide his temperament, Darren cradled the back of his head, "Wow- this game is brining in all sorts of people- isn't it?"

Nadine's arm fell from around Darren's waist as she folded her arms across her chest. "Yeah," she said calmly, looking straight at Charisa. "...all sorts." Backstabbing stealer of boys... she thought coldly.

'Um, good to see you to..' She whispered.
"Wow- this game is brining in all sorts of people- isn't it?" Darren said.
"Yeah," Nadine said calmly, looking straight at Charisa. "...all sorts."
Charisa felt uneasy being here with Darren and Nadine, and looked away.
I.. This brings back some memories.. Darren, Nadine. We were so close together, Nadine and i. Charisa looked at Darren. I really felt sorry for you Nadine, that day. But.. you knew i loved him, didn't you? I didn't mean to hurt you.. Darren.. You're so sweet, why did Connie.. Won't Connie try to do the same with Nadine? It really hurted..
'Um..' Charisa was full of toughts, but she couldn't say them, and smiled a fake smile. She hoped she was good enough and that they wouldn't notice it was fake.

Lacing his fingers behind his head casually as he watched the threesome bicker, Alex adopted an unimpressed expression.

"You see, Darren?" Alex started rolling his eyes, "This is why I don't hit on chicks like you do. They're such baggage."

"No they're not!" Darren retort defensively, pausing for a moment. Glancing between Nadine and Charisa, Darren looked a little flushed. Leaning closer to Alex , Darren glanced to the side, "OK, I admit that this isn't the most comfortable situation ever, but it's still fine."

"She hasn't gotten over you yet," Alex pointed out pointing his thumb discreetly to Charisa, "You can see that, right? I hope you're not going to play the two off eachother?"

"Of corse not!" Darren retort, trying to get his voice down, "We split up cause Charisa couldn't handle the pressure from Connie. If I'm not worth fighting for then I'd rather not have it. It's just..." Glancing aside again, Darren blushed slightly, "I DID like her alot. I can't hide that. I certainly can't ignore my memories of her either."

"Oh, really?" Alex grinned giving Darren a nudge with his knuckles, "No emotional baggage there!"

"It was good emotional baggage, k?" Darren said at conversation volume, not realizing he had inadvertently said that louder than he intended. Freezing on the spot, Darren and looked at Alex with wide eyes. Hushing his voice again, Darren asked, "I just said that too loud, didn't I?"

Putting together the hushed snatches of conversation she'd heard as well as the last, rather loud, statement, Nadine's arms tightened around herself as she fought to keep her face void of emotion. Of course. They were together for about a month, so of course Darren liked Charisa. Her eyes moving onto the girl's face Nadine's stomach sank. Who wouldn't? She's beautiful. Much prettier than I'll ever be.

Feeling one of her frequent waves of depression approaching, Nadine stood abruptly, almost overbalancing in her haste. She wasn't exactly bipolar, but she tended to overthink people's statements far too much, eventually giving it a negative connotation. There were only a few things that could stop her from bursting into tears when this happened. One of these was Darren, but obviously that wasn't exactly an option. The other was a hug.

Looking around, Nadine's gaze fell on the door to the kitchen. Remembering who had comforted her before, who could let her be without question, she walked quickly to the kitchen door pausing only when she saw him. He doesn't exactly seem the huggy type, but...

"...Miles," she said pathetically, looking at the floor. Well, I've just proved that he was right earlier about all of the emotion in this game. Why did I come to him anyway? Nadine's mind continued whirring out negative reactions to her decisions.

Seeing her daddy's smiling face in front of her, Trucy's own grin rivaled his as she literally jumped into the offered hug, squeezing as tightly as she could, her legs wrapping around him as best they could while Phoenix was crouching. She leaned back slightly so she could look at her Daddy's face. "You spun mee~" she chirped happily.

"I certainly did!" Phoenix grinned, as he topple backwards from the force of his daughter's dive bomb hug. Giving his daughter a tight cuddle for a moment, Phoenix felt a little better about the game. IT wasn't so bad if this was his only kiss. The one with Zeth wasn't too traumatizing. He was more nervous than he was. That always makes it easier.

Pushing himself back to and up right, Phoenix gave her a cuddle a moment longer before pulling away. Looking at his daughter, Phoenix nodded to the teens bickering behind him. "Make sure your friends don't go into all out war while we're in the kitchen, ok sunshine?" Phoenix motioned, gently cradling her cheeks, "Klavier will take good care of you."

"Nads!" Darren called out as Nadine stormed off. Leaping off the ground to follow her, Alex latched onto his ankle, stopping him from dashing off. Alex gave him a stern look.

"Darren, she's really upset," Alex reminded him, "Don't be a jerk when you talk to her, k? Nadine's a nice girl."

Nodding back at Alex, Darren jogged over to the kitchen to talk to Nadine.

Glancing up at Charisa, Alex got up off the floor and crossed his arms at her, "You're not going to go after Darren again, are you? I never had anything against you at all when you two were dating, but I'd be VERY upset if you make Nadine cry."

((OH! You got Alex's attention.. Brilliant! If you want to go after him, this is actually a good start ^^ ))

Charisa followed Nadine and Darren with her eyes.
"You're not going to go after Darren again, are you? I never had anything against you at all when you two were dating, but I'd be VERY upset if you make Nadine cry." Charisa looked at Alex. Hey, i didn't say that..
'Well..' She looked straight at Alex. 'I won't let her cry..' At purpose.. If Darren is goind to say things about me, then it's not my fault right? She looked in the direction of the kitchen. I wonder what they're dicussing..

Sarah looked at the girl coming in.
'Miles.' She said.

Narrowing his eyes at Charisa, Alex tried to figure out if what she said was the honest truth, or a statement to fool him. All he knew was that Nadine was 100% genuine about Darren, and he didn't want Charisa to ruin that. No matter what it took.

"Just don't get fancy with Jones," Alex huffed, turning around to sit down, "He already gets a hard enough time from Connie." Sitting down beside Tascha, Alex's face was still a scowl. Muttering to himself, he didn't know what was up with the girls at his school. Since when did every one of them want to go after Darren all of a sudden? When did Mr Desperato become so popular with the ladies? Shaking his head, he turned to Trucy and Phoenix, waiting for them to finish their kiss. I wonder who that guy is that Trucy is going to kiss? Can't be her father. He looks nothing like her...

((Sorry for the out of character post, but since Nii is busy, I thought I'd be productive and help out by doing the new set of rolls after Phoenix's kiss is over since we have a heap of new players that want to smooch someone. The idea is that people can take their turn when ever they want, and they get to chose one pair of people as their result. If the one they chose is the same person twice, then a third random spin is done, and that person gets to dare your character. This can add a nice twist if you chose it :) ))

Charisa felt pretty uneasy, but didn't want to show that.

Charisa looked away. 'I know..' She mumbled. And he's not the only one.
Glancing at the kitchen for a moment, Charisa looked at Alex. Why is he thinking i would do anything to Nadine anyway? She looked away. 'Just like it's all my fault.' She said almost unhearable.

Noticing the other person in the kitchen as well, Nadine started to panic. She couldn't be comforted with someone watching, that was just weird. Her hysteria rising, she turned back around, realising that she was now face to face with Darren.

Does he know about the depression? The almost-bipolar diagnosis I had given to me? Would he like me less if he knew? Nadine's sense of depression grew. She had gone past the 'need a hug' stage straight into the state of mind where she would do anything to stop the emotional pain caused by her own runaway thoughts. The scars on her left forearm bore witness to that certain state of mind.

Running straight past her boyfriend, she hurtled outside via the broken door, stopping as the rain hit her. Something sharp...

Trucy clung on to Phoenix stubbornly, laughing. "They're MY friends daddy. They'll behave." She finally let go of him to stand on her own two feet. Rising onto her toes, she puckered her lips dramaticaly. "Daaaaddy~" she said, her voice muffled due to her mouth's position.

Sarah saw the girl running away. I think there's really a problem.. Sarah looked at the boy. I hope it wasn't my fault, she seemd shocked when she noticed me. Sarah decided to follow the girl. If it is my fault, i can't let anything happen. Who knows? She smiled at the boy for a moment, then followed the girl.

Tascha peered at Alex with a concerned expression on her face, never being one to hide her emotions. She didn't know the other teens all that well apart from Trucy, but she'd managed to glean that Charisa and Darren had a history together and Nadine was SERIOUSLY upset by the fact that maybe Darren still had a thing for his ex. Which, Tascha considered, was more than understandable. But, Alex? She couldn't seem to figure out why he was annoyed, apart from wanting to protect Nadine.
"You know you're much cuter when you smile. And right about now, you look like you could use a good seratonin boost." she said teasingly, sensing that although the situation at the moment looked pretty bad, if she didn't do something to diffuse the tension, it wouldn't get any better. OK, so maybe that wasn't the best line.... But something is better than nothing, right? And if you could just start a conversation, maybe he might be pretty fun to talk to?

That means that you can pick Klavier again, get a dare, and kiss him twice as long ^^ Be careful though, you don't get to chose who GIVES you the dare. Phoenix

Chuckling as Trucy puckered her lips up for her Daddy, Phoenix grinned giving her nose a tap. "Close your eyes, my little sunshine." When Trucy closed her eyes, Phoenix leaned forward and gave her a kiss, not too dis-similar to Zeth's one, but with a more loving feel to it.

Pulling away after a moment, Phoenix gave his daughter a tight hug then, "I hope you all have fun." Standing up then, Phoenix glanced around. The group was already pretty chaotic with upset girls all over the place. Phoenix's face felt sympathetic to Klavier then. It would be HIS job to crowd control this group after all.

"We're going to start a new game in the kitchen for the adults only,” Phoenix announced to everyone, pointing his thumb to the kitchen, “Klavier is going to be staying with your group though so… Try not to all leap at him at once.” Chuckling to himself, Phoenix suddenly got an image in his head of all the girls glomping Klavier at once as soon as he left the room, “Have fun!”
Heading off to the kitchen, Phoenix walked past Sean and Zeth’s watchfull eyes, and to the kitchen where he looked around.

Now- what to use as the spinner for this game. Dice maybe?

'Just like it's all my fault.' Alex barely heard Charisa mumble. Slapping his hand on his face, Alex groaned.

“I didn’t say that,” Alex replied waringly, “You read too much into what I’m say... oh, BAH.” Waving his hand at Charisa, Alex couldn’t be bothered responding to her anymore. She was starting to give him a head ache, “Whatever. Just don’t get in their way.” Nursing away his headache with his thumb and middle finger to his temples, he used what knowledge he had picked up from various masseurs he had been to to get rid of that darn headache.

"You know,” Tascha suddenly started, "you're much cuter when you smile. And right about now, you look like you could use a good seratonin boost."

"Huh?" Alex replied, his headache flaring up some more, "What are you talking about? My diet is fine. I play professional ice hockey- it has to be. I've just got a damn headache, That's all."

((Awe- you could offer a massage? Would she know how?))

"What the hell?" Darren yelped as Nadine suddenly turned around, and bolted past him. "What's up with that chick all of a sudden?" Dashing off after her again, he spotted her go through the front door and into the rain. Crazy girl... Looking around for her, he spotted her in the middle of the front lawn looking around.

"Nads!" Darren called out, "What's up girl? Is it about Charisa?" Of corse it is idiot. Looking aside guiltily, Darren tried to think of his words more, "I.. I thought I asked you to trust me Nads. Don't you trust me?" Glancing back at her, Darren frowned, "Charisa and I have unresolved issues, Nads, but that's not going to make me go back on my promise with you. You hear me?"

Turning, Nadine lurched forwards into Darren's arms, burying her face in his shoulder. Oddly, she wasn't crying for once. Not wanting to lift her face to present Darren with such an unattractive view, she spoke into his shoulder. "It's not you or Charisa." Realising that he must be extremely confused, she sighed. Looks like all my secrets are out today... "I...I've got a condition," she said, hoping that she could skirt around the details. Already, she could feel that the human contact was calming her down. Way to put off your boyfriend, she thought to herself sarcastically. Though I do have to deal with Connie.

Trucy nodded and skipped back to the circle, dumping herself back in her spot and crossing her legs.

((Oh, yes she would ;) And I reckon she'll go for the double spin- anything that means she gets to kiss Klavier would send her over the moon.))

Tascha

Tascha shrugged. "Seratonin's not something you eat- it's one of the hormones that makes you feel happy and it gets secreted when you smile." She noted him rubbing his temples and guessed that was Alex's way of trying to alleviate his headache. For almost as long as she could remember, Tascha had suffered headaches maybe two or three times a week (all the Diamants had had this odd predisposition) and as such, was pretty expert in calming them. "I've spent about a third of my life with blinding head pain and I can tell you that if you want to get rid of that headache, you have to do your whole head. Would you mind?" she asked, not waiting for a reply, as she began to move her fingers in slow circles above his ears, then gradually moving on to the base of the skull. "It's best if you close your eyes- that blocks out some of the light." Tascha said, smiling slightly. I know this isn't normal, but anything's worth it when you have a really bad headache...

So the game's moving to the kitchen, is it? Theresa thought, looking up to see Phoenix moving into the kitchen and guessed they were splitting from the teens to play their own game. She followed him without thinking about what she was doing, like it was a reflex. Time for a little more grown-up game, is it now?

Charisa suddenly felt really bad. Why did he hear me again? 'I didn't mean..'
'Whatever just don't get in their way.' Alex said.
Charisa looked down and heared someone else talking to him. As she looked at them, Alex was given a massage by some girl.

Sarah saw the boy also running after the girl. She saw the girl hugging the boy. At least, it looked like a hug, but sadder. 'Time to go' She mumbled while heading off to the kitchen again.
