Dr. Tap rushed at the piece of marble encased in those glowing black chains as he swung a gloved hand. Instantly, it burst into fire as he smashed a hole into the side of the marble. Instantly, he jumped back as seconds later, a glowing black...object suddenly started to come out of the hole. He smirked. It was time to capture it.
Pulling out a beaker, he quickly mixed a chemical compound and threw it at the black stuff. The liquid hissed on the black object's skin causing it to distort. An inhuman growl swept through the room.

Meenyman began to calmly roll on the sandy floor, although it was not satisfying. The fire eventually was extinguished, and he stood back up, wiping the sand off this clothes and face.
"Ah, Dragon! No worries, for some reason we detectives end up in a fire incident one way or another. Oh yeah, I was wondering.... When will I receive that sniper rifle from you? Or will I not need it at the moment?"

"Um... guys..." DeMat said. It was pitch dark inside. He might as well be far away from them. "Are you here?" He then looked back. He couldn't see the light coming from outside anymore. Was he far away from it, or had it closed suddenly?
Out of the blue, he heard something falling next to him. He looked up. "Did somebody throw something down just now?" he asked, still not sure if there was somebody there. Had he really descended that much...? He just hoped he was somewhere safe...

He couldn't make out who it was, though it sounded like a woman. But the last word clicked on him. The goggles the Dragon gave them, of course! He pulled them out, and wore them. He looked up. He could definitely see some small spots with the heat-vision. Three of them, to be exact.
"Guys, I think I can see the three of you...!" DeMat shouted. "Can you hear me!?"

((In case you're wondering, above this was the floor of the Aethas Room, which now crumbled down, and the bottom floor elevates so that you can eventually reach the tunnel at the end of the Aethas Room. Of course, if when the Aethas Room collapses somebody is still standing on its floor, the fall would kill them. Also, Tap, what exactly are you planning? Because I think we'll end up meeting soon, and then we would have to fight, or the undergrounds of the Pyramid should be destroyed in order for you to escape...))

"Hold on a second. HEEY! MEENY AND WANA, GET YOUR BUTTS DOWN HERE NOW!" Dragon shouted.
Hearing the voice of Dragon, Meenyman shot his piston and jumped across the gap, heading towards the tunnel where Dragon's voiced lurked around. As Meenyman made his jump, his heart started to pump, as his fear of heights haunted him once again. Meenyman successfully crossed the life-killing gap, and jumped for joy.

Suddenly, the sound of footsteps echoed throughout the room. Dr. Tap's eyes widened as he quickly rushed over to hide behind a statue. He knew only a group of people knew he was here. It must be his former allies. Grinning as a thought came to him, he rushed over to the wall next to him and removed his journal. There was a small indention that the journal described as a key to opening a passageway to a maze. He rubbed his chin as he considered that the beast might be located in here as after all, this sounded suspiciously like the Greek story of the Minotaur.
Pressing the indention, a passageway opened up. He smirked once again and walked through it, chuckling. As the footsteps grew closer, Dr. Tap bellowed out loud as the passageway door started to close.
"Hee hee...you'll never find me. Not this time!" he said, chuckling as the door closed and a maze started to appear in front of him.

"Come on!" She started running down the tunnel until she emerged in the very same chamber that Tap was in a few moments ago. "Hmmm, it's a dead end... but that's what they want us to think." Dragon started inspecting the chamber in detail.

Meenyman searched the dead end carefully, looking at any suspicious objects on the wall and floor. He tapped the walls, to find a secret entrance.
"So you heard Tap's voice, eh? Then he must of went through a secret entrance, there is no other way of him leaving this area anyway."
As Meenyman slowly took small steps around the floor, he felt the ground below him had some loose dirt. Meenyman wiped the dirt off with his hands, and discovered a stone hiding behind the dirt. Meenyman picked up the stone to inspect it, but suddenly he heard a noise, something like a secret wall opening up. And it was.
"Well would we look at that! I would have never thought I would be the one to find this? Shall we move on?" Meenyman said, confidently.
