Chase heard the rustling sound of Migoto rising from the bed and his eyes slowly opened, painfully adjusting to the light. After a few moments of staring at the ceiling blankly, he sat up and scratched his head groggily. "I'm gonna grab some cereal," he muttered, more to himself than anyone. Half-awake and unaware of his surroundings, he stood up and yawned.

Chase groaned. "You're a morning person?" he grumbled, sitting down at the table. This was the only time where Chase was not energetic and happy. The morning was a sleepy, drowsy time for him, but in a little while he would become his usual self.

Through his thick sleepiness, Chase smiled at Migoto. Seeing her so happy and making delicious treats made him happy, despite himself. Standing up, he yawned and stretched, walking over to the fridge and opening it. Inside were countless milk bottles, and he plucked one out and took a swig from it. Chase wiped the milk from his lip and sighed. "I love milk!" he said, feeling invigorated.

Migoto smiled and kissed Chase again. "Well, Pour yourself a glass and I'll get you some rice krispy treats~" She began to cut the slab of sugary-goodness into nice, even squares. Then, two of the squares were put on a plate and given to chase.

"Rest? I don't know the meaning of the word!" Chase shouted, but winced at the pain in his leg as he stomped his foot down. "Ugh. Maybe you're right. I dunno, time with you won't kill me, I guess." He smiled and pulled her into a hug. "But it has gotten me pretty close."

Chase shook his head. "No way am I perfect. I'm a crazy kleptomaniac who lives in a tree. Also, I got shot." He chuckled, still very happy because of what she told him. He had never heard those words told to him before in his life, but now he had. It felt great to him. "You've gotta be a little crazy too, to take me as I am."

Chase scratched his head. "I never really knew my family, other than my sister, Carly. I overheard a prison guard saying my dead was in some Turkish jail, but I never met my mom. Carly and I split up and now she's in Europe." He sighed. "My family's kinda messed up. But, uh, what about you?"

Chase answered as he looked out the window and over the village, seeing all the thieves walking about and beginning their days. "Lettuce, tomato, see if we got pickles. Love me some pickles," he muttered. The fresh air was the best part of having a hideout in the woods. Sometimes he actually did feel like Robin Hood.

"You're in luck~" Migoto said as she pulled out the pickles. She placed everything on the sandwich delicately, as if it were a work of art. one she deemed it was fit, she made another sandwich, identical to the first one. She placed them aside and began to make her sandwich; bread, mayo, lettuce, meat, cheese, mustard, bread. It was that exact order every single time. Then, each sandwich was cut diagonally, and placed into a container. "Do you have a basket or something?"

Chase couldn't recall having one on hand, but held up a hand to signal Migoto to wait. He went outside and shouted, "Someone gimme a basket!" One was thrown after a short delay by a thief below them and Chase handed it to Migoto. "There we go! Good ol' Hoods, getting you everything you need."

Chase offered his arm. "Let's!" He planned to go up north, where there was a clearing, away from the village and trees. In retrospect, maybe this was better than going out and stealing something. But he'd never been on a picnic before, so he reserved his judgement.

Migoto took his arm and smiled. Now that she thought about it, this would be their first actual date. She didn't count blowing up the thug hideout at all. She grabbed the basket and let Chase lead her on. "You know," she said, "This is gonna be our first date~"

Chase blinked and thought it through. "Huh. Well, yeah, I guess you're right. Seems kinda strange that we're already kissing and everything before this. I mean, I just assume it is. Is it?" They exited the village and went up north, through a sparsely lit trail through the tall trees and out into a large field, where the sun shone down on long grass. Chase couldn't help but smile when he saw this place. It was the only tranquil thing he knew that didn't bore him.

Chase did a crazy action roll and landed in place next to Migoto lying on his back. It was one thing to stop him from stealing; another thing entirely to stop him from acting like a maniac. He sighed and put his arms behind his head. "I love the forest," he said with a smile.
