"Okay, then," Richard said. He pushed a button on his desk, and suddenly the whole floor, save for what was under Richard, disappeared. "Bye, bye."

There was a roar Sandra heard. A loud one. A hungry one. Sandra gulped as she heard a stomping sound coming closer...Closer...Then, she heard a thud a long ways away, and she became more frightened as whatever the thing was came closer.

Mira took his chance to fire at Richard just as he began to fall. He looked in the direction of the door to determine whether or not the floor of this room was the only one that disappeared. If so, he used his free hand to try to grab onto the bottom portion of the doorway he had just recently entered (but he would be more occupied with his shot. If not, he simply prepared to take the fall.

Mira's bullets went right through Richard. Rather, Richard's hologram, which disappeared, having served its purpose. ((Which, by the way, was why Mira couldn't read his thoughts. XD))

"No!" Sandra shouted. "This wasn't his mansion at all...Everything was a trap from the start. The men are real. Whatever's down here is real. But, the mansion, in and of its self, is a giant hologram. The real one...Where is it? There is a real mansion somewhere nearby...Somewhere where he could give orders."
"Hahaha!" Richard's voice laughed. "You figured me out. Too bad it is too late. Now, you are trapped below the surface, you can't even stand, and, any second now, you will not even be able to see colors anymore."
"What do you mean?" Suddenly, fire was shot from all around her. She didn't know if she couldn't see anymore or if she just fainted, but everything went black.

Mira took out his cell phone and used the light from its LCD screen to try to illuminate the area around him. He waved his cell phone in all possible directions. "Sandra!?" He yelled. "Do you see my light?!" Mira asked.

"Sandra?! Do you see my light?!"
What light? ...I don't hear the ominous sound anymore. I'm...Hurting...Everywhere, and I'm hot. So hot. I smell smoke... Sandra tried to get up, but she couldn't even move. She had no clue where she was. She could only hear footsteps, and she wasn't even sure if they were anywhere near her. She groaned as she tried getting up again, but she failed. She tried to yell back at the voice she heard, but her voice came in barely a whisper.
"Who are you? Where are you?" Sandra asked. "For that matter, where am I?"

Mira heard Sandra's thoughts, but not her words. Based upon the thought, Mira tried to get to Sandra's location, using the light from his cell phone to safely get to her location (that is, if there's something there, and Mira saw it, he would get around it somehow). "Sandra! Are you ok?!" Mira asked as he made his way to what he believed was Sandra's location.

Sandra tried to get up again, but barely even sat before falling back down. Agh! ...I don't think so. My legs were injured when I fell down here, then I caught on fire...I wouldn't be surprised if I'm burned beyond recognition. I remember seeing fire around me no matter where I turned. I think I might have rolled and got rid of the fire before winding up like this...I just don't know...

Sandra cringed away from the finger as soon as it touched her, mentally screaming in pain.
I asked Mike to stay behind because he can read our thoughts, ensuring we have a way of communicating with the others at any given time. And...Well, the others...Judging by what he saw, they needed him more. He saw it was a trap, but he also saw Richard clearly in his vision, and there was really no way for him to know it was just a hologram. What he saw...He the others all having bullets rain down upon them. He also saw...Us. Both of us...Getting set on fire...Psychic visions are limited. He can't see everything. He saw Richard, which, if I'm not mistaken, is exactly who you heard in that room. You didn't know he was a hologram when you saw him, and apparently Mike didn't either...

Mira then shined the light from the phone on Sandra's forehead, as to diagnose and confirm his suspicions of a second-degree burn.

What do you see? Is it horrible? Sandra thought. They were really bad, her face barely even recognizable, her hair mostly singed off. Her clothes were practically melted, especially her top ((since the fire was mostly aimed at her upper body, especially her head)). Any skin that was exposed was burned.

Ha! That is the obvious place to call, and something I already tried. They're sending a search team and an ambulance, so my job is to stay here and make sure nobody attacks them whenever they get here. I probably only called five minutes ago, but it feels like it's been forever. Anyway, they should be here soon.

Well, yeah. It was the only calm in this onslaught of random military technology. Right after the helicopters and right before the tanks. But I can feel my powers fading and my concentration slipping...I hope I can hold out until they get here...

Mira nodded. "Sorry Sandra, but this is the best way to get you out humanely." With that, Mira struck Sandra in her neck to knock her out, a technique taught to him by the FBI. Once Sandra was unconscious, he picked her up and carried her on his back, then ran as fast and safely as possible, freeing up a hand to handle his cell phone in such a manner to emulate a flashlight.

Mira acknowledged Mike's thought. He continued running until he saw light coming from outside. And as Mike suggested, Mira came out cautiously. He didn't call for Mike, just on the offshot that something might happen if he did. From his position, he looked around for an ambulance.

And Mira was right not to try to contact Mike because he was trying to stop armored cars, tanks, and helicopters all at once. Some were just illusions, and Mike left those alone, but the scary part was that a lot of those were real.
How the hell did he get all this stuff? he thought. One of the many times I wish I had a bazooka!

Mira waited. He heard the sirens, but couldn't do anything else really at this point. He carefully set Sandra down, but that's about it. At this point, it's going to be the ambulance's problem. But what if those weaponized vehicles attacked the ambulance? Mira couldn't think of any way around that.

A little help here! Mike thought as he blew up a tank. I dunno how you would help, but I need to save some energy for when the ambulance and search team arrive. Especially when I make a shield so whatever they attack with will just bounce of right back at them. But doing that will require lots of concentration... A helicopter suddenly stopped flying.

Mira tried to think of a way to help Mike...

He considered calling a local FAA office, but he wondered if Richard might have somehow legally obtained those helicopters. Not only that, but he wondered what he should do about the tanks. Call SWAT? No, Mira didn't think they were the ones to call to deal with tanks, let alone aircraft. He called the FBI regarding the current situation, requesting advice on how to resolve it.

But of course! Once Mira got through, he asked the receptionist to contact the air force regarding the situation at hand. They are probably the most flexible force in the military, at this in this type of situation. Mira explained to the FBI receptionist about the situation, waiting for her to contact the air force about it.

If all went well, they should be here shortly (hopefully).

"Look out!" Mike screamed at Mira as he quickly put up a make-shift shield that held the missile in place. "I can't do everything, here." He quickly shot the missile at a helicopter that fired another one, causing an explosion near the copter, but not damaging it very much. Shit! Mira looked around for a place to hide Sandra. He also checked to see if the ambulance was here or not. He wondered what he could do about Mike. If the air force arrived, Mike would have an easier time running away. If a hiding place was available, Mira moved Sandra to the spot, then began to figure out a way to get Mike away from the current situation - unless the weaponry was going to attack the city, in which he needed to think of something else.
