Hearing Austin's reply, Zoey smiled before answering her captor. "...Yes. I love him, Cairus." Cairus dropped to his knees so that he was face to face with the other vampire. "But Zoey," he said, his uncommon use of her first name drawing more attention to his speech. "Do you not remember? All those years ago...?"

Zoey's face would have flushed if not for her vampirism as she recalled their days together. She'd been so genuinely happy - Cairus had taught her that life here forever mightn't actually be too bad. Especially if she was with him...

Zoey lay on her side in their secluded area of the forest, happily just watching Cairus as he slept, his long hair rising and falling with his chest. It had been another long day of training - for about two months now he had been teaching her to be powerful like him both physically and magically. There was always something calming about being taught by the one you love...she would never grow fed up because Zoey would strive to be as strong, fast, powerful and...mesmerising as Cairus.

His eyes gently fluttered open and, sensing her gaze, he turned his head to face Zoey. His lips turned up in a small smile. "Good morning, my Blackbird." She had always loved how posessive he was - it made her feel loved....

"...Of course I remember. But that was before you..." Zoey turned her head to the side. Cairus reached up and cradled her face in his hands delicately, turning her back to face him. "My dearest Blackbird...that hurt you deeply?" His eyes that were looking straight into her own were so deeply concerned that Zoey actually began to rethink her current feelings towards him.

As the group walked onwards, Mika put his head to one side.

"It's almost Christmas Day... Our parents and relatives are probably aren't having a merry one..." he said, a slight waver in his voice. "I still don't get how we were trapped in this world the first place! It's just virtual reality... what company made this anyway?"

((Post something then, dammit! I guess I shouldn't be talking, though.))

"That's an interesting question," Jay commented as the group continued walking. In fact, the question had been plaguing the brothers this whole time. "Not to mention, if this sort of thing started to happen to everyone who bought the game, don't you think it would have been... recalled by now?"
"Yes, it is a little puzzling that, even though we ourselves had learned about the strange happenings through the media, we were still able to acquire the game to investigate," Jeremy replied. They didn't mind if the others heard what they were talking about. Maybe the rest of the group could contribute their own ideas.
"It's very perplexing indeed... and wait, it's already Christmas eve? Just how slow does time run in this place?" Jay asked, confused. They were sure they'd joined the game in one of the summer months. 'Heh, it does feel like it's taken us six months to move through three days, though,' he said in his mind.
"I guess time could move differently here," Jeremy pondered aloud, "Or maybe we just don't remember the exact day we got ourselves trapped."
"Time could even be totally broken here, especially since we've had more than one occasion of us reacting to things that seemed to happen before our last action, even though we didn't actually see them happen," Jay suggested.
"Whatever the case, if it really is Christmas eve, or even later now..." Jeremy began as his demeanor seemed to get a lot less cheery, "I can't even imagine what the families of these players must be feeling like. There has to be a lot of panic and confusion."
"It's hard to go on when you stop to think about something like that, and I'd love to be able to say that that should be the drive that inspires us to find a way out of here as quickly as we can," Jay added, also beginning to feel the effects of the realization, "But it's very hard to be so optimistic. What if we never do find a way out? Worse yet, what will happen if time suddenly just stops?" The brothers didn't even want to think about it, but with time seeming to be as wacky as it is, it could just happen.

((And it WILL happen if people don't start keeping this topic going.))

Austin sighed, thinking about his family. How they were so great to him. How they would either be crushed or be having the time of their lives. He always felt like he was a burden, and maybe he was right. Maybe they were enjoying not having to look after their paraplegic relative. He could feel tears in his eyes, but he managed to blink them back.
"We can't concentrate on that now," he said, as much to himself as everyone else. "We have to save Zoey." He turned the corner to the restaurant. "Okay, here's the plan: I will cause a distraction while you guys see if there is an alternative way in," he whispered as quietly as he could manage with them still being able to hear him. "If there isn't, then make one." He then jumped through the door.

"...Yes, it hurt." Thinking back on that particular memory pained Zoey, so she stopped her explanation there. Looking away from Cairus, she bit her lip. What does he want from me? Cairus turned her head back to meet his gaze that appeared to be concerned.

"If that hurt you so, my Blackbird...I apologise. I love you. That was a mistake that drew you away from me and consequently from your training. You still have much to -" His grip on her jaw tightened suddenly as they heard voices from outside. Cairus' expression hardened and he rose with a stiff jaw, making his way to the window. "...We have company, my love. I won't be long." Zoey had time to see a glimpse of an insane smile before Cairus vanished, reappearing resting against the restaurant's front doors.

Austin howled his angry song again, forcing his enemies into a blind rage. And then he could swear he smelled a familiar scent. He turned to see the vampire leaning against the doors. Austin felt his nostrils flare up. He had to find Zoey, and only Cairus knew where she was. A roll away from an attack snapped him out of his reverie. He would have to question Cairus later. There were too many others in there right then. I'll focus on them first. As long as Cairus is here, he's not harming Zoey.

Cairus turned to watch the werewolf dive into the fray. He smiled, knowing that there were many higher level vampires and werewolves in the building. Plus, even if the wolf managed to survive somehow, Zoey wasn't in the building. She was further into the town, in an abandoned hotel.

Zoey strained, reaching down to her feet where they were bound to the heavy wooden chair. She inspected her nails. Cairus had always made her make sure that her nails were short at all times so they didn't catch on anything, but since running away from him they had grown longer. She began to saw furiously at the diamond binds, gritting her teeth as she knew it was pointless trying.

As Austin departed to make the distraction, Mika turned to the brothers. "A resturant, huh? Resturant brawl. Right. You two, with me, spitspot!" he shout-whispered.

He quickly ran to the side of the resturant. "My father was a demolitions expert. Showed me tools of his trade, in a sense. 'Find a loose brick, and that's the one that'll go first.' he said." whispered Mika.

"Now we have three options. A) Look for a weak brick, then take the wall apart, B) Look for an alternative way in, or C)... we nuke the wall. Albeit risking a random encounter." stated Mika. His eyes were postively glowing. "So... what shall we do?"

Austin felt his anger flare up even more as Cairus looked at him with his smug smile.
Well, what did you expect? That he'd be scared of you? You're outnumbered. There's no way you...
Maybe there is. If I make them regret everything enough, then...
It won't work.
Better than curling up and dying.
Austin growled, then sighed, leaping over a vampire before howling a song of regret and shame, with a depressing, hopeless undertone. He saw that some of the ambushers stopped short, but not all of them as he dodged and howled, knowing going on a killing spree wouldn't help anything.

The brothers thought about it for a minute, then decided that the three of them needed to be stealthy, but quick.
Jay whispered, "I think we need to make haste with the wall, but we should be as quiet as possible about it." He started surveying the wall for a brick that looked out-of-place.
"Agreed. If you know anything about walls, Mika, then you should know how to bring one down without much of a crash," Jeremy added. Just then, the brothers heard a faint howling. "Austin!" Jeremy whispered, "Oh no, he's trying a regretful song. Anyone here know a temporary deafness spell or have some sort of earplugs so we aren't affected by it?" Obviously, Jeremy began to regret asking that.
"I think I found a loose brick... but what if we have to pay for the damages?" Jay announced, feeling a bit of shame for possibly demolishing a perfectly good wall. "Then again, what if this restaurant's been truly abandoned? Hm..." He knelt down and began inspecting the brick, preparing to give it a good tug.

"Regrettful... song... hoo boy. Days like like this, I wish I wasn't a level one!" Mika shouted. He searched inside his trouser pockets, then his suit jacket pockets. "Nope, no earplugs. Ok, I'll try a spell. Brace yourselves. And someone else will pay the damages." He shut his eyes, and imagined a word. A strand of silver energy flew out of his hands and flew into the trios' ears.

"Right, the brick." Mika saw the brick that Jay was about to pull. Mika pulled it, and it slid out from it's cement stronghold. Good. Now the rest should come like a game of Tetris. Sure enough, the bricks were coming down, until there was enough room for all three of them to fit in, one at a time.

"Right. Now let's go save Zoey! Allons-y!" Mika shouted, and ran, hoping the two behind him could catch up.

Zoey had worn all of her fingernails down to what Cairus would deem 'appeopriate' simply by tryig to saw through the diamond bindings. Gritting her teeth in frustration, she banged on the ground. "Help!"

The brothers could hear the world around them fading away, save for what Mika was saying.
"Say, that's an interesting trick! Man, I wish we were so lucky with our initial spells," Jay commented as Mika began pulling down the wall.
"Right, onward!" Jeremy said enthusiastically, casting a DEF-up spell on the group, followed by another quick healing spell on the two brothers, as Mika jumped through the hole. Then, the brothers began charging area-of-effect elemental spells as they themselves jumped into the restaurant to start off the attack with a bang.
"Mika, wait!" Jay whisper-shouted. "We need to stick together. If you're a level 1 as you say, then just running right into the fray might end your game before it starts. Hey, wait a minute..." The way Jay had said that, 'end your game before it starts', sparked a theory in the brothers' minds. What if that could actually be a way out of this world? It could be like those dreams where you are about to die and you wake up with a start. Then again, just as what comes after real-life death is a mystery, the brothers knew the same could be said for what comes after "virtual" death. They wouldn't want to put that theory into practice, so they put it in the back of their minds as they lurked from a dark corner of the restaurant. Just then, the brothers had another thought.
'Wait, what if Zoey isn't here at all? Why would he just take her back to the place of the ambush? ...Dammit, we can't just leave Austin here to defend himself in any case,' Jay wondered.
'Right, that's the unfortunate thing abous snap-judgments like these: you have to go through with them, even if a different, probably better option presents itself,' Jeremy mused.

((Nah, the theory of being thrown out of the grasp of the "game" would make it too easy to escape, unless something so counter-intuitive would serve as a good reason to exit the world. Then again, another theory is that you are just forced to re-create your character, losing all memory of the previous adventure. Haha, these are basically metaphors for different theories on death itself, right? Like "waking up" into the "true" real world (heaven, hell, a meta-reality, or whatever else), or reincarnating into the same world as someone or something different.))

"Help!"
She's right. I can't waste my time like this. Austin then reached his mind out. "I'm coming for you, Zoey. I promise you you will be safe." Aside, to himself, he added, Even if it kills me. He turned to Cairus, growled and lurched forward, leaping over or killing anyone or anything that got his his way. When he finally made it over there, he was panting slightly, but ferocity burned in his eyes as he stared at Cairus.
"Where's Zoey?" he asked, deciding not to dance around the issue. At that moment, it seemed nothing else in that room existed.

Cairus folded his slender arms across his chest, having already decided not to use his usual charm on this wolf. "Not here," he said truthfully. A fact that was unknown to many was that Cairus never lied. He could dance around the truth, use ambiguity or twist his words into an intricate metaphor, but he never lied. Of course, this situation was easy enough to control.

Austin's brow furrowed. He couldn't have just come back into the heat of battle for nothing, could he? But it would be pointless to ask where she was again, wouldn't it? He would just give him the same answer.
"Then...Is she within a block's distance of here?" Austin asked, leaping over a demon who was charging at him from the right, causing it to crash into a vampire.

"That depends on what category of 'block' you are using. The size of a 'block' is negotiable depending on which country's average block distance you are going by. " Cairus grinned sadistically. It was fun to stall the wolf. A vampire should attack him soon and bring an end to this nuisance anyway.

Austin frowned deeply, then smiled. If Cairus wanted to play mind games, he picked the wrong person. Just when he opened his mouth to ask, he tasted blood...His blood. He looked down to see a sword tip poking through his stomach. Nice. Stabbed in the back. Literally. Austin groaned.
"Zoey..." he croaked.
Continue?
Yes/No

Austin selected "yes," and found himself lying at Cairus's feet.
"Is she...In a hotel?" Austin asked meekly as he tried to get back up.

The brothers' bracelets had already extinguished, knowing what the two were attempting to do. Jay and Jeremy were now completely hidden in the shadows as they listened to the sounds around them. They had heard Zoey's distant cry for help but couldn't just leave Austin behind, could they? Then they listened in to Austin asking if Zoey was within a block's distance, followed by a long-winded explanation. 'Man, someone's "getting to the point" setting is awfully low today...' Jay thought to himself, shortly after hearing the sound of a sword tearing through fur and flesh. They thought they could see a vampire behind Austin, backstabbing him while he was off-guard. 'Dammit, no!' Jay screamed in his mind. The two were now pretty angry and focused their energy on their charged spells, beginning to overcharge them. They held their hand out like they were about to throw a ball and made a tossing motion, sending a couple glowing "elemental grenades" into the crowd of ambushers. The "grenades" promptly exploded, sending thousands of sparks of hot electricity and shards of freezing ice everywhere around the room, knocking quite a few of the random vampires, werewolves, humans, and demons to the ground, some of the shrapnel barely missing Austin and his attacker. The brothers felt their experience jump up a sizeable amount, but their energy was significantly down. Overcharging a spell is almost never a good idea. Confusion erupted in the room as the brothers attempted to remain concealed, preparing to make a jump over the crowd and attack Austin's assailant (not Cairus, but the one who stabbed him) head on.

You have reached level 6! Congratulations.
'Yes!' the brothers thought to themselves, smiling inwardly. They were hoping that, even though Mika did not contribute to the attack, he would gain some of the residual experience because he was technically "in the party". 'That should give him a level or two, at least,' Jeremy thought, looking over to Mika to see what would happen.

Cairus scoffed, looking at the werewolf at his feet. "No." That didn't exactly narrow it down - there was only one or two hotels in Tepple anyway. He threw a poisoned needle into the fray, casually aiming for the two brothers.

-----

Zoey sat up straight, an idea striking her. Whenever a character dies, they disappear for a split second before regenerating with one less level. She stood up, still bound to the chair, and dragged it across the plain room to the window. Looking down, she saw that she was about three storeys up. Perfect. Hauling herself and the chair onto the large window sill, she prepared to launch herself off.

((Yup. My little tribute to the Late 10th. ^^))

Mika's body glowed a slight yellow as he absorbed the residual experience.

You have reached level 3! Congratulations.

As the glow faded, Mika, wide-eyed and surprised, stumbled back. "Th-thanks." he said, almost emptily. He had seen Austin stabbed a few moments ago. "Noo..." There has to be a form of regeneration in this game. If you end up dead, there must be something to bring you back.

Filled with rage and anger towards Austin's killer, he turned to him. "You... COWAAAARD!!!" He screamed, as he ran at top speed towards the vampire firing a long sustained beam of lightning at it. He shut his eyes so he didn't know whether he hit or not, so eventually, when he did open his eyes, he grabbed the creature by the throat and held it upwards. Choking it. His hand tightening by the second.

Through the confusion, the brothers could see Cairus turn to their general direction and throw something. They quickly dodged away from the projectile as it cleanly pierced the wall. Jay quickly grabbed the needle, tugging at it to extract it from the wall. He finally succeeded and quickly placed the poisoned needle in his inventory. They could do some "detective work" on it later. 'This cat doesn't play around,' Jay thought to himself. Of course, the movements they made to dodge the needle certainly gave away their position. They then saw Mika run towards Austin's attacker full force. From there they had a few choices: make a break for it through the "back door" Mika had made, jump straight into the fray and finish off some of the still-alive enemies risking a better-placed attack from Cairus, jump over the crowd straight to where Cairus and Austin were and help Mika out, or attempt to stay hidden and think over it a bit more. As they thought it over and waited for Cairus to possibly make another move, their guard was up. Way up.

Austin growled fiercely at Ciarus as he threw the projectile at the brothers, getting back up and barely refraining from pouncing at him.
"You'll pay for that," he spat, then returned to a casual expression. "Is she further in town?"

Cairus shrugged. "Pay for what? I did not hit them." digging some more needles from his pocket, he splayed them out between his fingers casually. "Well, obviously. I have already told you that she is not here, and this restaurant is on the outskirts." He rolled his eyes before flicking a needle in Mika's direction, this time with more speed behind it.

Mika tightened his grip further... but suddenly felt a sharp pain in his arm. He let go of the vampire, which just lay on the floor gasping for breath. Mika saw a sharp needle IN his arm. He looked at the direction it came from. It was Cairus, the kidnapper. No, I can't die yet, not now. he thought to himself. He thrust his unpoisoned arm forward, firing six electric beams, all aimed at Cairus.

Instinctivly, Mika pulled the needle out, but too late. The damage was done and he was losing health rapidly. I should just keep fighting... and pray someone has an antidote

Then he turned to the gasping vampire. He fired one beam in its face. It died, letting out a terrible scream, and several points of experiance for the party. Just keep going. Mika thought, trying to resist the poison.

Cairus grinned, eyes glinting manically as he warped so that a wall was between him and the beams fired. "Excellent."

------

Taking a single deep breath, Zoey pushed as hard as she could with her legs, launching herself off the high window sill. She experienced a rush of adrenaline as she whooshed downwards, shutting her eyes as the ground rushed upwards. A sudden, overwhelming pain caused Zoey to cry out as she hit the ground before she faced the yes/no screen.

Austin growled fiercely. Mika was poisoned. He never wanted to kill anything so bad in his life, but he knew he couldn't do it. He instead leapt at Mika, forcing any demons, vamps, werewolves, or humans out of his way.
"Give me your arm," he said gruffly before grabbing it and putting it to his mouth, sucking out the venom in the wound. Suddenly, a yes/no screen appeared before his eyes. ZOEY!!! He shifted his eyes so he was glaring ominously at Cairus, but he kept sucking until all of the poison was out of Mika. That's about when he toppled, losing his health rapidly, but not as fast as Mika had.
"Z-Zoey..." he croaked.

Zoey groaned, pushing herself to an upright sitting position and blinking her way back to consciousness. Her body still ached all over, but she noticed immediately that she was free of her bindings. Getting to her feet, she swayed slightly at a wave of dizziness before starting to walk towards the restaurant before regaining her balance and breaking into a sprint.

Cairus felt a laugh bubble out of him as he saw Austin save Mika from the poison, thus poisoning himself. "Fool! What is the point? He is weaker than you, he should be the one to die!" Still laughing, he took a step forwards to give Austin a powerful kick in his side. "Fool! You are so foolish in so many ways!" He continued to laugh almost hysterically, shaking his head as he kicked the wolf again. "Thinking you could love a vampire! Saving people who do not need saving! All this gallant rubbish!"

Suddenly, Mika fired a long beam of electricity, aimed straight at Cairus before he had a chance to warp, however this time, he kept it going. He kept advancing. "YOU. WILL. LEAVE. HIM. ALONE!" shouted Mika, his eyes glowing a luminant yellow as he fired. He was growing weaker by the second, as his attack was already draining his MP rapidly. He had to repay Austin for taking the poison. But if either of were to die, he didn't know what would happen. Death? Regeneration? Reincarnation? Which one? Mika quickly pushed the thought to the back of his mind and concentrated on the matter at hand...

A last laugh rang out before Cairus swung both arms into the air, the ground rumbling slightly before following his movement over him to form a dome of dirt, causing the electricity to crash into contact with the earth instead of him. In the darkness of his made dome, Cairus gritted his teeth, seeing that the sheer power of Mika's attack was already beginning to erode the front of his hasty shelter. Decisions running through his mind quickly, he shouted out once with frustration as he made his choice, teleporting from his dome of earth with the bitter feeling of not having technically 'won' the fight. As soon as he had disappeared, the dome collapsed back onto the ground in a heap.

Zoey knew that there had been trouble as soon as she approached the restaurant - it was quite a sight to behold. The restaurant itself was still crawling with demons, vampires and wolves; there was a gaping hole in the wall, a large pile of earth was situated in front of the entrance, Mika was standing in the entrance of the restaurant, a stream of lightning streaming from his hands as his eyes were tinged yellow. And Austin was -

"Austin!" Zoey was by his side in a flash, careful not to run into the path of Mika's fury. She knelt at his side, noting all that was currently wrong with the way he looked.

((Is Austin still in wolf form?))

((And it's about time I created a character sheet for the lovely Cairus. Lol. Of course, this won't reveal much you don't already know. :)
Spoiler: Cairus
Name: Cairus DeTemple
Age: 20
Job&Species: Vampire, Mage
Appearance: Tall, with shoulder length, deadly straight black hair. His eyes are a very vivid red. He wears no shirt, just a pair of loose black trousers.
Powers: Vampiric speed and senses, his magic is of the Earth element. Currently a level 57.
Bio: Somewhat well known and feared in the game world. Has many menacing names. He doesn't see his inferiors as anything to bother with. Nothing is known of his life before the game. He seems to have some sort of romantic history with Zoey as well as her being his past pupil.

The beams emitting from Mika dissolved into mere sparks, then into nothing. His eyes returned to their normal chestnut brown, the glow disappearing. Exhausted, he dragged himself to Austin, and knelt beside him. "Oh, Austin..." He didn't look good. Mika was thankful that Austin had badly weakened himself for his sake. But he couldn't help but wonder... why?

He turned to Zoey. "Ah... You must be Zoey. I'm sorry we had to met in these circumstances..."

"Oh. What is your name?" she said stiffly, still worried about Austin. Though, upon seeing the human's exhausted state, she sent him a trickle of spiritual energy, averting her eyes as she tried not to breathe too deeply. Human. "Could you...move away?" she said, voice strained. She was worried enough about Austin without having to worry about eating the human.

With a feeling of energy entering him, if only a little amount, Mika used it to back away and straighten his tie.

"Sure, I understand... my name's Mika Cadenza, by the way." he told her. "But please answer me just one thing." His eyes turned to Austin then back to Zoey. "Can you help him?"

"I..."

Turning away from the human, Zoey looked down at Austin sadly, stroking his cheek with a cold hand. "No. I am no healer." Sending a steady trickle of energy to him, Zoey looked back at Mika, thinking about whether she actually wanted the next question answered. "...What happened?"

"Very well... I'll tell you." Mika stroked his scarlet hair back, anxiously.

"Well, Cairus attacked us to start with... why he's so injured... I saw him stabbed, by a vampire... then Cairus, fired a poison needle at me, while I was killing a creature. It hit, and was rapidly losing health. Suddenly, Austin grabbed my arm and sucked all the venom from it. Then Cairus attacked him again in his weakened state, but I managed to scare him off."

Mika turned his head to one side, guiltily.

"Oh... if only he let me die..."

Then he thought something. "Hang on, what's after death in this world? Regeneration in a new area? Loss of life? Restart of the game?"

"Fool! What is the point? He is weaker than you, he should be the one to die!" Austin felt Cairus's kick, and merely groaned. "Fool! You are so foolish in so many ways!" Another kick, and Austin groaned again. He felt like he was too weak to do much else. "Thinking you could love a vampire! Saving people who do not need saving! All this gallant rubbish!" Austin felt himself turn back into a human. A result of the poison, he guessed.
"YOU. WILL. LEAVE. HIM. ALONE!" Mika shouted.
"Austin!" he heard Zoey yell. He felt coldness sweep across his cheek, and Austin coughed, feeling some energy return to him. He let out a long sigh, then looked up and met Zoey's gaze.
"Whew. That poison is wicked stuff," he quipped. He then glared at Cairus, only to see he was no longer there. Austin laughed, then coughed. He reached up to grab Mika's hand. "Don't worry about me, okay?" He looked around. "I can't see much from down here. Are Jay and Jeremy alright?"

"Thank God, you're alive." Mika sighed. A sigh of relief. "As for the brothers, last time I saw them, they were hiding behind a table somewhere."

((Wow, so much happened in so little time, it makes my characters look like they didn't lift a hand to help. They wouldn't normally be like that, you understand.))

Jay and Jeremy's bracelets began to glow again as the brothers stepped forward, out of the shadows. They quickly jumped over a table, whacking a demon on the head who was still trying to attack the two of them. They had seen everything, but it all went by too fast for them to react. Or at least, it had seemed to.
"Damn that Cairus..." the brothers both muttered at the same time, approaching Mika, Austin, and Zoey.
"How's everyone doing?" they both asked as they cast a party-wide healing spell, enveloping everyone in a faint blue glow, before stumbling slightly but still keeping their balance. Their MP was tapped, barely running on empty.
"We... we're okay," Jay stated a little weakly, "Just a bit drained." He then explained, "We charged a few area-of-effect offensive spells a bit too much, gained a couple levels, had a poisoned needle thrown at us, which we were able to dodge and collect for later inspection, normal 'everyday' stuff. Overcharging elemental spells is cool, but really taxing." He sat down on a chair beside him that was somehow still intact.
"Definitely... The explosions they let off were rather neat, though," Jeremy admitted. The brothers stayed back a bit so as to not tempt Zoey's thirst.
"Hey, Zoey, we're glad you're okay, but how'd you escape from... him anyway?" Jay asked, his gaze fixated on the raindrops pattering against the window rather than Zoey for some reason.

"I..." Looking into the middle distance to avoid eye contact with anyone, she felt a sudden, instense wave of guilt. This was all her fault. It would be a miracle if Austin ever trusted her again, and the brothers were already averting their eyes. "He...bound my legs to a chair with diamond ropes, which are unbreakable. So I...jumped out of the window. There is always a split second at character death where the body will disappear, so it freed me from the bindings."
