Some people began to leave and the scenery was still luminous like city lights in the darkness. All this time Kristoph had his arm around Maya to keep her warm during the somewhat cool night. The cool breeze must have been from the rain. The moonlight was making the dew on the grass sparkle. More couples began to arrive making the social event all the more popular. He had planted a soft kiss on Maya's head and stroked her hair softly, her black locks felt like velvet and he had tried to make sure to make gentle movements in case Wright was watching.

The flowers, Heaven's Mirror, combined with the fireflies and the stars and the moon took Maya's breath away. Beautiful didn't do the scene justice. She blushed as Kristoph kissed her head and stroked her hair, and she leaned against him. When she looked out at the scene, she just felt so...Relaxed. She felt her eyes begin to close.

He noticed Maya's eyes slowly droop and he had allowed her so lean onto him. He too had began to feel his eyelids droop. "Guten nacht Maya." he whispered while lying back against a tree and sleeping. He had felt comfortable since he had felt the warmth of his lover. The day had gone so smoothly and it was going to end smoothly. He didn't know exactly how long he'd still walk among the free yet he was proud enough to say that he had made it a single day. For the first night in months he had had sweet dreams instead of the nightmares he had in prison. He now was able to be with someone he loved instead of being trapped in a lonely jail cell.

He had thought he had heard someone shout in the distance. As he slowly opened his eyes he looked over and heard what Wright's friend Larry had shouted. Just as I thought. I have some people with me and now I might have more against me. He only adjusted slightly so he didn't wake up Maya who was sleeping soundfully against him. He then rested his eyes and only did so that way he could listen in on Wright's conversation.

Larry said, even though he knew the we was all He (phoenix) he still felt obliged to say he helped seeing as he was usually either involved, part of the problem or a mixture of the two seeing as he got in the way allot, but they were friends and he was USUALLY just trying to trying help and his actions USUALLY had good intentions, "And also, don't ya think Maya's old enough to take care of herself? I mean, she musta know him for at least a weak or a month to get to know him this well, I mean she couldn't have just been sold that he's a good person and be making out with him in public with her shyness and his reputation, heheh. . . Apollo smiled, and quietly said he was fine, but he accepted the umbrella, "So..." he swallowed hard, blushing like a school boy infront of his crush, "I was... Wondering... If you don't have anything booked for tomorrow... Why don't you come with me to the star gazing festival?..." he asked, his heart almost felt like it was in his throught, so, he felt a bit cold, and things, made... Enough sence.... He wasn't dreaming?... He saw the luminus full moon(I ♥ moon :3 ) and smiled a bit more, it was beautiful, if only he could take a picture of how Ema looked right now... But... He's just have to store it away in his memory.
Seemed like things had mostly calmed down, and Kristoph and Maya had taken a seat, the rain was merely a light mist.
Mr.Eldoon seemed pleased that his barrel he'd placed atop his cart had collected some water from the rainfall... How... Thrifty.....
Spark took note of Mr.Eldoon's hydro-wise sucsess.
Spark's heart filled with joy at the mentioning of a festival, and he was all over it!! He'd cover it! Journalist first on the case of star gazing festaval..... No... Headline speaking..... "Star gazing festival ends a romantic day at the people park" ... A little long.... Maybe... If I could look into my thesaurus my mom gave me.... Spark tapped his tooth brush on his head, occasionally brushing the fog off his lenses, reminiscing about the day he got his thesaurus, he was soooooooo happy, he went to bed hugging it tightly in his arms. (Yes, I went there! }:D Wocky+Shi, Trucy+Spaghetti and now Spark+Thesaurus)

Kristoph had gotten up carefully so he wouldn't wake up Maya. He had gone out into the middle of the field trying to pick a Heaven's Mirror when, suddenly he heard a shot. He felt something lodged into his shoulder and he felt a burning sensation. "Arg!" she hissed. The pain was intence and he had realized what had happened. He had gotten shot in the shoulder. He didn't know who exactly shot him but he had a suspicion. Wright. As he lay on the ground he couldn't speak due to the immence pain.

After hearing Larry talk to him he had heard a loud BANG! "What was that?" he asked Larry. "Trucy where's Kristoph and Maya? They could be hurt." he said. He hoped that Maya was safe and maybe Kristoph.

Apollo yelped and turned around, a sound, all to familliar to Ema and him, a gun shot, or... Fire works?.... But the festival was about star gazing, it wouldn't be wise to set of fire crakers when the attraction was already in the skye.
Spark was about to weasel his nosey way into the sound, when his pager whent off, a fire downtown he was on it in a flash, he got into his tacky car and sped down the street.
Apollo swallowed hard, Who was shot...? he wondered, looking around for everyone.
((Switching to Klavier...))
Klavier was just about to re-enter the stand for the festival, he really enjoyed the stars, they sparkled like him; he was dismounting his hog humming his hit seller "guilty love", when he heard a sound, his eyes shot open, "Huh?..." he observed the clear sky for the fire works; he blinked, confused, and cautiusly walked into the park, and saw the faint image of his brother crumle to the ground, and he felt his heart skip the beat, Kris?..... he tore off as fast as he could to Kristoph's side, he remembered how it had been when he was younger, Kristoph was always there, to help him. Klavier feared the worst.
Apollo was distracted by Klavier dashing past him, his vision of what happened was obscured slightly, but seeing the urgence of Klavier he descided to follow him.

"Hold on, I'll check it out!" and what better way than to try out my new moter bike I got with my savings!? Larry thought to himself as he sped off into the night to check on Maya and Kristoph.

"Hey wait up!" Phoenix called. "Well I guess we should go ahead and check out the festival." he said dashing over. He had thought the worst. The sound of a gun going off was all too familiar and he hoped that nobody had gotten killed or seriously injured. The whole idea just made him mentally cringe. I hope she's alright. He then saw Klavier and Apollo dash past him while he ran toward the noice. He was afraid of what he was going to see either an injured person or a corpse.

The sound of a gunshot woke Maya.
"Did you hear that, Kris?" she asked, only to realize Kristoph wasn't there. She had a sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach as she took off in a random direction.
Please don't be hurt. Please don't be hurt... she thought as she ran. Then, she tripped over something. No, not something...Someone. Maya turned and, by the light of the stars, realized that she had tripped over Kristoph.
"K-Kris!" she shouted. She had no clue what else to do as she hastily got up and grabbed Kristoph's hand.

The judge was about to say something to Thalassa. Always the faintest glimmer of hope... But then, he heard a loud, "BANG!" He looked up at the sky, and realized that there were no fireworks. It could only mean one thing.
"Looks like it's time to leave," he said. Then, he ran off toward the park as fast as his feet could carry him.

"Please don't. It hurts." he murmered while feeling the immence burning of the bullet. He had then noticed his shoulder was bleeding. The pullet was at least a 43 caliber bullet. In the distance he could see his brother Klavier, his rival Wright, and his former apprentice Apollo. Oh sure they hated me before and now they come and worry. The pain was getting more intence.

Ema was about to answer Apollo when a gunshot cut her off. As Apollo tore off alongside Klavier and Phoenix, she watched anxiously and decided to walk over to Trucy to comfort her. After all, it must be frightening to have heard that...

Trucy recalled the time she, Apollo and Ema were at the Gavinners concert and Apollo and Ema were witnesses to a murder. Would she be one this time too? As She covered her mouth in fear anwondered who was shot, Ema approached her and hugged her to calm her down...It was working a little bit, but she wished her mommy would come and comfort her too.

"You can't. Wright...remember I had escaped, if I had gotten admitted to a hospital t-they'd put me back in prison." he murmered. He was about to loose conciousness yet he fought to stay awake. I'd rather die than live life alone in that cell. He wondered who was the person who had shot him. He now saw it hadn't been Wright or else he would have fled the scene. Kristoph knew about murder...in fact he was a murderer.

"To tell you the truth Maya I'm not sure." he said. Kristoph did in fact have a point and he doubted that it was wise to take that risk. If they hauled him off to jail then he would be afraid that Maya would hate him for doing so. But was it nessicary to let someone die over a promice?

"B-but Kris...I...You can't..." She struggled to find the right words and sighed when she couldn't. "How can we help you if...Jail's a better alternative to..." What was she getting at? She knelt down to Kristoph. "Look, I support you in whatever decision you make. But you got to understand. None of us have any medical experience. We can't...We can't help you..."

The judge followed the crowd to Kristoph, panting.
"Everybody...Stay calm," he said between pants. "Give the man some air." He walked up to Kristoph and tore off some of his robe. "They always make these too long. At least this way, it won't get infected. And..." He saw how depressed Maya looked.
"Would you hold him up for me, please, Ms. Fey? This will hurt, Mr. Gavin. Brace yourself."

Maya carefully lifted Kristoph into a sitting position.

The judge wrapped what he tore off around Kristoph's shoulder. "I wish I could do more, but I can't right now. Mr. Wright, Mr. Justice, Ms. Skye, Ms. Fey, I hope you can find the person responsible for all this." He turned to walk away.

As he was set up he had clentched his teeth in pain as the burning senation had tripled in pain. He senced something and had looked into a nearby tree and saw some shadowy figure in the trees along with something shiny. He was all too aware of the danger. The gunman was aiming for another target and he saw it was aimed for Apollo. He pushed him out of the way as another ear splitting shot was heard. This time the killer had missed and there was a bullet hole in the ground right where Apollo was standing.

After the next shot was fired he knew it was time to get out of there. "Come on everyone we have to move." he ordered. He had ro get everyone to safety seeing as another person could have gotten gunned down.

"Y-yes! We have to get away from this...er...Who will carry Kris?" Maya asked. "Your Honor, could you...?" But the judge was gone. What's he doing? Where'd he go? She looked around, but didn't see the judge anywhere. "Someone help me, please." She grabbed Kristoph and tried to lift him up, but to no avail.

The judge knew he had to move when the second gunshot went off. He had to think of what was best for everyone, not just for himself. He had a gun with him under his robes, but, if the gunman saw him, it would mean they'd be firing at each other, and someone else could get injured...So, the judge went with plan B. He tore across the park, toward his house.

Klavier heard the second shot, "ACHTUNG!" he yelled out of impulse, he felt a little silly, realizing that he used german, he didn't repeat it after the event, it's effectiveness would be void, so he looked about aprehensively, "Herr Forehead, are you alright?"
Apollo swallowed, feeling his stomache sinking and his throught go dry, "I'm f-fine!" he said, while he was still unharmed, he was rattled greatly.
Klavier started to worry for everyone's safety, "I suggest that we get the Frauleins out of here quick... And then get to safety ourselves..." he was a bit tied for figuring how to take care of his brother.... Considering that if he was to go to the hospital, he'd immediately be put back in prison after his recovery. Klavier's hands startled to tremble a bit.
Apollo picked up, on it, Klavier's habbit, when he's in a tight situation, and Apollo knew right off the bat, that Klavier was worried about calling the police for any reason, dodgy, they'd ask a lot of questions, and Kristoph would be found.

"You take Maya and the others out of here I'll catch up." he said. You could tell by his expresson that he was serious. He heard another shot and pushed Klavier out of the way of the speeding bullet. "Go!" he commanded. As he then slipped away into the shadows. He had gone to the tree by some bushes and desided to lay low until he could get a desent vantage point. A struggle could be heard from the distance and the shrubbery didn't allow any viewing of the intence action. The sound of two gunshots could be heard. "AAAAAAHHHH!" Kristoph screamed as he saw the gun discharge when it hit the ground. And then...dead silence.

He heard the struggle but couldn't see it due to the large bushes blocking the view of the scene. Two gunshots... he then nearly jumped out of his skin after that ear pearcing scream. He waited until he could hear something...nothing. "I-is he alright? Or is he...?" he stopped before he could say any more. Or is he dead?

Klavier would have critisized Apollo for his freezing up, but now wasn't the time.
He started toward Ema and Trucy, when he heard his brother yell out, he froze, feeling dizzy, he wanted justice over his brother in court, but Kristoph was still his brother, it would take allot more for his affections for him to go, Klavier faught the urge to even look back, let alone go tearing back to help his brother.
Apollo ducked down far away from the gun shots, the yell that he heard made him duck even further, he held his arms over his head and started crying, "I'm Apollo Justice, and I'm fine..." he repeated to himself, trying to tune his fears out.
Klavier's hands were still shaking immensely, he continued to run toward the two of them, and withought consent hoisted them both up under his arms. Times like this I'm glad I helped carry the heavy weight equipment in my shows... Things wouldn't get done proporly, and I wouldn't be prepared to do this... he thought to himself, his adrenalen pushing him to run as fast as he could with them.

The gunshots that had discharged from the gun were the last. The shooter had knocked him out cold by hitting him in the head with the gun. The wound from his arm then leaked towards his chest making it look like he was dead. it was also due to the loss of blood he already had it made his pulse unnoticeable. He looked dead and was laying on the grass face down. For all everyone knew it could have been a murder scene. The shooter then fled the scene and ran out into the unknown.

He helped get the other girls out of harm's way and he then noticed that it was completely silent after that. He then slowly went over to the scene of the struggle. "Oh...my...god." he said. He then ran over to Klavier and Apollo with his eyes wide in shock after what he just saw. He then reverted back to a more serious mood with a tinge of sympathy for what he was about to tell Klavier. "Klavier...your brother has been murdered." he said while trying to brace for what Klavier would do.

Klavier didn't face Phoenix, and he didn't move, his hands had stopped shaking, and he seemed to be like a statue, almost startling them when he abruptly stared up at the sky, "...Herr Wright?..." he asked, still not facing him, "I need to... Go see him..." he finally said, his voice sounding a bit choked at the end, and he walked, without facing them, towards the scene, making a B line.
Apollo was speachless, he felt a lump in his throught, before this day, he'd felt like it would have beenmuch better if Kristoph were dead, but now, he couldn't help feeling a wave of depression.
Klavier found his brother, face down in his own gore, and he let go of his strait face and collapsed to his knees, "K-Kristoph...." he sniffled.
Klavier curled down onto the grass next to Kristoph and cried into his own sleeves.
((Eeeeppp.... I get so emotional with my RP characters.... ;3; ))

He nodded and let Klavier have time with his deseased brother. He then turned his attention to Apollo. "You might want to help him though this. He's going through a tough time." he hinted. He then went over to Maya to break the news to her. "Maya I hate to say this but Kristoph...was murdered." he said. He braced for her reaction and hoped that she would pull through this.

He thought he had heard someone crying when he was stuck in that darkness. The voice sounded familiar and the thought then came to him. Klavier. W-why are you crying? Is it because I did something or is it just because you thought I had gotten hurt? He was still unconcious and he could only listen to his brother's weeping when he desperately wanted to know how he could confort him.

Klavier felt something, he hoped it was his brother's Aura, but, he turned to look up at Apollo.
Apollo felt terrible seeing Klavier in such a mess, his hair was ruffled almost completely out of it's drill, tears in his reddened eyes, and due to the rain earlier he had caked mud on his sleeves and on his knees.
"Herr Justice..." he was not in a joking mood, he knew Apollo could relate to his dispair, or at least understand, and he felt a bit comforted just having him close by helped.
Apollo didn't say anything, he didn't know what to say, What does Klavier have now?... Darian's in jail, his band disbanded, and now.... His brother died......... It was heavy enough for him to find out that his brother was a murderer, but.... Apollo crouched down feeling tears well in his own eyes; Mr.Gavin had been his mentor for years, and even if he was a murderer, he had left that out of it when tutoring him, he was very kind, and having turned on him on that fateful first case, "Et tu Justice?" a famouse line from shakespeare, relating to a man's best friend betraying him, meaning "And you, Justice?" it just drove knives into his consciusness.
Klavier didn't join Apollo in sobbing more, instead he just stared blankly, at Kristoph, tears rolling down his cheeks still, but he didn't make a sound.

The sobbing ceased and he wondered what happened. Maybe this was all some sort of dream. He felt the warm, red liquid on his chest. With his thinking he knew what they were crying about....They think I'm dead don't they? Well I'm still stuck in this darkness so until I do wake up...if I wake up then everything will be alright. He had thought he had heard Apollo sob a bit. Well I see that they show sympathy for me now. Unless those are tears of joy which I doubt. Wait...is Maya okay?

"K-Kris? M-murdered?" Maya asked, not registering it right away. It just seemed so unreal. Then again, the whole day felt like a dream. Maybe it was turning into a nightmare. Maya pinched herself, expecting any second to wake up in a cold sweat, but nothing happened. "H-hold on! There's no way he could be..." She ran over to Kristoph's body, where Klavier and Apollo were sobbing. He...There was no way he could be alive. He was a bloody mess. Maya didn't register...She couldn't let herself believe it. She dropped to her knees.
"It can't be..." She checked his pulse, but didn't feel anything. She sobbed. "W-wait...There is one thing I can try..." She sniffed loudly and stood up. "So you guys can have the chance to say, 'goodbye'..." She sat down and attempted to channel Kristoph's spirit.

The judge ran back to the park as fast as he could with the things he needed. He didn't have much time. Someone might have already died. Once he made it back, he saw a bunch of people gathered around Kristoph's body, and he sighed. He got the things to save the man, but he was too late.

He felt like he was getting pulled away from the darkness. W-what's happening? Oh no...that's right Maya can channel spirits and if I get pulled out of my body then that means... It was too late he was getting drawn to Maya's channeling. As much as he tried to resist he was stuck between life and death and his spirit would be able to pull away but it'd come back to him after the channeling. He then found himself in the all too familiar channeling robes. "Ach I pass out for one second and then..." he said before looking at his corpse. "Well, I can see why you thought I was murdered." he said. Knowing them they might just think I'm in some sort of spiritual denial. Well I'm stuck in my lover's body and I need to get back to my own body.

The judge looked at Kristoph in Maya's robes.
"Well, I can see why you thought I was murdered," he said.
"What?! You mean...You aren't dead?" the judge asked. "But then...Why are you in those robes? And why is your er...body on the ground still?" He was very confused as he knelt down to Kristoph's body. "Well, if you aren't dead, I can get out these bullets and stitch up your wounds..."

Gumshoe came with the sirens blaring, "What's going on here pal!? I heard gunshots. Whoever has the weapon now!!! This is an order, you are under arrest for possession of illegal firearms, misuse of a lethal weapon, shooting a civilian casualty and attempted murder, this is at least a life sentence, you have the right to remain silent, everything you say can and will be used against you in court!" Gumshoe said finally doing his job like a professional, If I play my cards right and keep up this kinda work maybe Mr.Edgeworth'll give me a raise! heheh! Gumshoe thought to himself, proud of his work.

He grew skittish after seeing Detective Gumshoe had showed up with the police. "Well to tell you the truth I have no idea if I'm still alive or not. For all I know I could be dead, seeing as how I had gotten channeled by Maya." he said. "And even if I were alive I doubt this would be the right time for me to rise from the dead seeing as there are officers everywhere now." he said. He was more afraid of the police arresting him than embarassed of being in channeling robes. And that was saying a lot. "Well either way I'm not an expert with this or anything but I only have so long to stay tied here." he said.

He had seen the police cars and had gone over to Kristoph. Or the corpse of Kristoph when he had then noticed that Maya was channeling him. "So you really are dead?" he asked sadly.

"I have no clue. All I remember is hearing gunshots and then nothing. It was like I was half alive yet half dead." he responded. He was hoping that Gumshoe would arrest him. Then again he was in Maya's body so he doubted he'd get arrested as her.

The judge pursed his lips.
"I'll wait if you want me to," he said. "But, if you're half-way between alive and dead, I can't wait very long, can I?" He looked down at Kristoph's corpse. "I believe there is a reason Ms. Fey channeled you. We'll worry about your body later. Get to doing what you need to do, Mr. Gavin."

"Thank you your honor." he said before going off to say his possible final words he had gotten some paper and then wrote something to Maya and putting it in a pocket in her robe. He then headed towards Wright. "Wright...er I mean Phoenix I'd like to apologize for getting you dissbarred as well as getting rid of Trucy's father. I realize it was indeed selfish of me." he then went over to Apollo. "Apollo you were the hardest working apprentice I have ever had. We had our share of working together and I apologize for misleading you about everything." he finally went over to his brother. "Klavier...as a brother I really should have known better than to use you like that. I...brought you down a path that I would have never wanted you to go down. I hope that after all this you'll all forgive me. I don't really expect you all to. Now listen to me Klavier I will always be looking out for you no matter what happens, no matter the cicumstances. I'll always be your brother and...Ind lible dich." he said. "Maybe this was the thing I needed to finally make amends...was this the fate the one I was destend to fall under? Well...either way I accept it. I was growing tired of everything the facades,the lies, and everything I had done. And now I think it's about time for me to rest." he said. He looked towards the sky, slowly shutting his eyes and he then slowly he left from Maya's body. You could see a few glowing lights as Kristoph's soul faded away. He still had the usual smile on his face but it was real and not artifical like it usually was.

He saw that Kristoph had given him his old attorney's badge. As he saw Kristoph fade away he said "Thank you."
The anger he had felt slowly went away. The amends were finally made and he hoped that Kristoph would be able to rest in peace. This was the thing that assued him that Kristoph Gavin, was finally back to his original self. That attorney who was calm and collected , who was always happy and loved his brother. This was the true Kristoph Gavin, not the psychopath that everyone had thought. This was him before this had all happened.

The judge watched as Kristoph's soul left Maya's body and as he made amends.
"Well, looks like I'd better get him patched up before it's too late. Let's see..." he said, checking the area around him. "This is a good spot, though not the most sterile place in the world." He knelt down and pulled out some tweezers and a bowl. "I went back to my house to get everything I need for this. I'll remove the bullets, sew him up, and hope that I can get it done before he dies. He clearly isn't dead quite yet. His chest is still rising and falling. Barely, but it is." He sighed as he unwrapped Kristoph's shoulder. "I'll start with this one." He dug into the wound with the tweezers and pulled out the bullet, which he put into the bowl beside him. Then, he pulled a needle and thread out of his robe and sewed up the wound on Kristoph's shoulder.

Maya got up, leaning against a tree for support.
"What happened?" she asked.
"His chest is still rising and falling. Barely, but it is," she heard the judge say. W-what?! Did that mean...Kris was alive? But then...That couldn't be. She was gone, which meant she channeled him, didn't it? She reached into her robe and pulled out a piece of paper. A note from Kristoph. She read it over. ((I'll let J say what it said. xD))

To Maya,
I maybe gone or not. Yet the precious time I had with you was enough to open my eyes. I had been blinded by my own eyes yet you had let me see the true errors of my ways. Remember, when you gave me that second chance? When you said that you'd forgive me as long as I forgave myself? Well during this entire time I had made sure I had lived up to that promice. I may not be here physically to dry your tears yet I will be watching over you and my brother.
Every second we have spent together I will cherish even in the afterlife. Before I never belived in having anyone help me though this but you were that one angel who set me free. It still bewilders me on how I ended up with someone as precious as you and there will never be any words to describe how much I love you. Yet if you ever do feel lost I'll try to be the one to help you move along.

At that time he suddenly stopped breathing. Yet he could still feel that he was alive. Maybe this was how his soul was readjusting itself into place. He only saw darkness yet he couldn't get out of it. As much as he tried to get back into his body he could yet he couldn't breathe. Yet at the same time it felt like he was. Arg this is harder than I thought. Maybe if I just stay here in the darkness for awhile I might return to life. Maybe my soul is just stuck between life and death.
