A hand was swiped through the air, producing a blast that sent the fists back. Another hand was swiped as well to whack the kid.
DOUBLE REPPUKEN! Was the announcer's response to that. The crowd cheered as the blind man unleashed but a sample for the other fighters. Once the recoil was confirmed, he ran to the rubber boy, grabbing him and throwing him in the direction of his teammate. Keeping silent during his attack, he made sure he used enough velocity to disable any sort of recovery. And if he did recover, this man had enough defense to make sure they'd have one hell of a fight.

Meaning once they landed a strike, they'd get something vicious in return. If they hit him, they'd have to pay the price, simply put. Still. These kids had potential, but right now, their power was lacking in most areas according to him. Regardless. If they saw what his power was derived from, they'd avoid combat altogether. Going near him would basically let him draw what he needed a mere drop of. Blood.

Hell, he hated that kind of thing. These two had spirit and that's probably the only thing that's fueling their tactics. Which was good, because without spirit, they'd be out the window.

Hands went back in pockets. Relieved sigh came from him as he watched them strategize.
"The offer to end this in an instant is still on the table." He then started to chuckle. Their strategy would have felled anyone who wasn't him. But since he had been through training whose requirements were fatal to those who failed, his body was hardened to the point that fatal to normal meant just slightly painful to him.

Pointing an index finger in the air, he turned all they could see to darkness, blinding them to even their immediate sightings.
"To show you my respect and to give you my wishes for a fight next year, I'll show you something I never show anyone. The bane of thousands of enemies."
Darkness was the only thing they could see. Holding back the extent of power the move he was about to do had, he then blinded them with light after executing strikes that hit their weakest points located outside of the ribs. He held back in order NOT to kill, but if they were serious about fighting to the death, he had no choice. He'd hit them harder.
