I understand completely where you're coming from. Now, you can go ahead and say my name instead of saying "not everyone else". You know, that tree wasn't made one day because I simply felt like it. I realize that a second tree took things pretty far. And I also realize that a lot of you hate me or simply are angry because it "splits up your families". I can empathize with that, really. But as things stand in my eyes, I shouldn't get rid of something while people like Azzy, NL, and Phoenix Apollo support it. If nobody will support the tree, then I have no reason to keep it. True, there isn't even any gay marriages on there. I screwed up and let my stubborn nature get in the way of my better judgment. But where there was once one there is now two. I never forced anyone to move, anyway. Everyone who moved decided to do so on their own. Don't be angry if you think it's okay for them to decide to move. So don't blame me for creating a place that allows people to express those more open beliefs. I haven't done anything wrong, yet you blame me. They haven't either, for that matter. You're being foolish.

If it's causing such an issue, why not just say that all old pairings/adoptions/what-have-you from the original tree are still valid, this is just an extra space for same sex couples to declare their partnership? The trees don't HAVE to mutually exclude each other. It's just like...an expansion pack. Anyone not interested in same sex partnerships doesn't need to have anything to do with it.
At least, that seems like the most logical solution to me.

... this is what I said from the start.
The only reason I won't let people be in both trees (on my side of things) is because Fleg insisted on having this as a tree for everyone.
The first PM I sent him was this very suggestion.
Just have the same sex couples listed here, they would still be on the other tree, just not listed in their same sex pairing. Then on this tree they could be listed as their pair.
That way people don't have to chose one tree or the other.

Actually... technically there is one couple, and they decided to not be on either tree in any shape or form.
I agree, if there aren't any same sex couples in here there is no real point to this.
Only have it if there are some sex couples interested in it. Until then it's not really needed.
That's my 2 cents anyway. Now I'm out of here. I already broke my promise to myself to not post here.

From what I can tell, people are managing their families quite well on their own. If there wasn't trees, then couldn't people just do whatever they wanted about it? Why put rules and limitations onto things? I don't see any reason why we should have to map it out, either. Whatever, if you think this tree should just be locked, go on ahead. I just want to stop arguing for a while.
