Looking down at the peons in the battle arena, Kaiba noticed a strange little man looking back up at him. Purely out of impulse, Kaiba decided to call this character Itchy. Itchy seemed to be trying to get Seto's attention, attempting to talk to him, in fact. But Seto was Xillions of feet above the arena, so no words were noted. This irked Kaiba, so, with a flip of his coat-tails, he was off.

Just as the rich teen was walking out, he saw some sort of awesome transformation sequence out the corner of his eye. Feeling pity, he decided to peek out the window to see a woman with purple hair.
'Eh.' Kaiba thought, 'Lot's of people showing up that I don't own. I should go do something, seeing as there are no card games going on.'

So, the elevator button beeped, the doors whirred open, the elevator booped as before activating and zoomed while it was activated, and lots of onomatopoeias were used in this sentence. Kaiba was off.

He then attached his broiler and got of a case of guns. This will come to a disadvantage since I can't kill anyone.... He ###### his pistol and loaded it with bullets as hard as a boxing glove, but it couldn't pierce metal or any kind of solid. It can just hit and bruise, Heero then opened the case, This can be fun....

The long elevator ride finally ended. Kaiba was about to jump in with a kick to the face, but that's not badass enough. With a grin, he strode forward, occasionally taking a glance to the side.
"Heh," he muttered to himself as he got close to the edge of the arena, "I knew there was a party going on, but I didn't think they brought clowns."

He finally turned, and set up his Duel Disk. But not before one last snarky, "Let's play."

well right now is in the middle of a match. when the winner of the match is decided i will go on to next match until the finals.

((Sweet! I get to fight Heero! XD These two are completely fair, due to the fact that they both don't have powers of some kind,(Unless I'm missing something... XD) And they both fight Hand-To-Hand, and weapons and such! XD So it all works out XD Sooo... this means we have to wait until your fight is done, correct Jayrock? Solid Snake, once a member of a secret organization known as 'FOX-HOUND', once formerly known as 'FOX'. Snake was out in the open, due to the fact he didn't need to sneak anymore, and he paid close attention to the fight that was taking place right now. It was Light Yagami VS Softon, of course he had to question how odd it was to see a man with a head made of ice cream, but then again, he has seen some other pretty weird stuff. He paid close attention to the fight, but the thing that got him especially curious was the fact that Softon looked like he was getting hit by nothing, due to the fact that Snake had not touched any part of the Death Note, he couldn't see Ryuk. And he made sure he did not forget that part. He pulled out his Thermal Goggles, and started to take a better look around, he noticed the fight was much better up close, and then he noticed Kaiba and a few other people as well, but the thing that caught Snake's interest the most was Yoruichi... mainly because she just transformed, and she looked EXTREMELY attractive, but just like Snake, he didn't let it phase him... except the transforming thing, that still left unanswered questions. There was a slight pause, just before something began to ring... it was his Codec! He then knelt down, and a man known as Colonel Campbell spoke on the other line.

"Ah, Snake... its been awhile." The Colonel said with a calm tone, then Snake just replied with a simple tone."Colonel? What do you want?" Campbell just smiled lightly, and responded.""I see you're checking up on the competition, have you learned anything yet?"There was a slight pause, then Snake shook his head."Not really. All I've got is that theres this kid who can attack with being next to his opponent... do you think it could be some Psychic abilities?"Campbell shook his head."No... I seriously doubt it, if that was the case, the fight should have been over already..."Snake sighed, and responded."Well, if thats not the case, then what is this?"Campbell shook his head, and sighed."I'm sorry to say, but he is just an ordinary kid, known as Light Yagami..."Snake had to interrupt there."... How the heck do you know that!? Just a second ago, you didn't even know who this kid was!"Campbell then responded."Calm down. We just looked him up. He seems to be a normal kid like every other one in the world. He's at the top of his class, and he is a kid who loves justice more then anything... this might have something to do with the fact he wants to join the same group his father is in."Snake nodded."Uh huh... well, he seems like he's a pretty normal guy, so why would he come to a place like this?"Campbell just shook his head."Unfortunately, I am not aware of this information, but if I find out, I'll let you know. My frequency is 141.85. Call if you need any information on how to defend yourself against any of your opponents, understood?"Snake nodded."Got it... but... wait... I would have thought you would be the one supporting me with information about my enemies..."Campbell chuckled lightly, and responded."I thought so as well, but then I remember someone who could help more then me."Snake seemed interested, and responded."Oh yeah? Well then, who is he?"There was a slight pause, probably a five or ten seconds, before another voice popped in."Snake...? S-S-S-Snake...?"There was some slight issues, but it eventually got through."Snake? Is that you?"Snakes eyes widened, as a slight smile came to his face, but he chuckled lightly, and spoke."Otocon!? What are you doing? I thought you were goin-"Snake got cut off by Otocon."Yeah, I know... but I decided that this was more important, wouldn't you agree?"Snake nodded slightly, and responded."Yeah, I guess. After all, this seems to be in your department Otocon, so I'll be needing all the help I can get."Otocon smiled lightly, and nodded."Yeah. Now, if you need to reach me, my frequency is 141.12. Just like always."Snake nodded."Yeah..." There was a slight pause, then Otocon spoke."Well anyway, I guess I'll talk with you later then Snake..."The screen switched from Otocon, to Campbell now, and Campbell spoke."Yes, it is about time we let you get back to what you were doing..."Snake nodded."Yeah... thanks Colonel."Campbell smiled lightly, and nodded."No problem."And with that, it cut out, and he stood back up. Now looking around with his Thermal Goggles, doing his best to avoid looking at Yoruichi again, and pay closer attention to what was really going on.

A PA rang out across the walls of the arena. All infinity walls, as the room was a circle.
"Hey crazies! Get off the stage! There are ICE CREAM MEN and PEOPLE waiting to HURT EACH OTHER."

Kaiba sighed in disappointment. "Bet the front seats aren't taken." he said to himself, and took the elevator back up to his seat. When the elevator was just about to stop, Kaiba heard a faint noise, like a 'BEEDLY BEEP' coming from inside. Pressing his ear against the door, he heard a husky, manly voice say something like, "BLAH! Rank kernels!"

Seto's hearing was suffering lately. Finally, the door opened to reveal a man in army camouflage with guns seated at the edge of the podium. 'He's in my seat.' Kaiba thought, but he didn't do anything. Instead, he inched closer, for some reconnaissance. Little did he know exactly what he was getting into...

Off in Japan, L was watching a live video of Light's fight. Light had went to this tournament on an undercover mission in case Kira or the 2nd Kira was there. Light said he'd try to find a way to manage against these guys before he left.

"Strange... Light seems to be attacking from a distance.... could this be his Kira powers at work? Even if it is, this doesn't prove it...yet. If he is using his power to control his opponent, then his opponent should die soon. But would Light be stupid enough to kill his opponents with his powers?" L thought.

Just then L thought of something.

"Have any of you seen Misa Amane lately?" he asked.

"Where is Misa?" Soichiro said.

Snake continued to look through the goggles, and continued to pay attention, until he noticed that a certain man had left, and that man was a rich man too, known as Seto Kaiba. Snake had only heard of him, but had never actually met him, nor does he care if he does, or does not. He continued to look, until he heard the slightest noise, which made his eyes immediately dart to his right side, and his reflexes kicked in. He immediately put the goggles away, and swiftly turned around,(Sorry for the auto hit, but I'm not going to hurt you or anything! Its just one of those little scenes =D) then he grabbed Kaiba's arm, and twisted it so it was behind him. He pinned Kaiba's right arm behind his back-with his left arm-, and pressed slightly against it so Kaiba couldn't move, then with his free hand(His right hand) he pulled out his Survival Dagger, and held it against Kaiba's neck. For normal people, this strategy would seem like Snake was wide open for attack, but in reality, Snake had the upper hand! You see, with Snake's left hand holding Kaiba's right arm, Kaiba's free arm wouldn't be able to grab it, and if he tried to do so, Snake could easily slit his throat, and on the other hand, if Kaiba were to be able to grab Snake's right hand with the Survival Dagger, and try to turn the tables, Snake could quickly grab Kaiba's wrist, and use Wrist Control. Which could basically manipulate the persons movement. But then again, this is Kaiba, he could probably get out of it, he's smart... the only thing was, when Snake took a closer look, he released his grip on Kaiba and turned away."You shouldn't sneak up on a person like that... you could end up getting yourself killed, especially in a place like this."Snake stated simply. Now, its not that he cares for Kaiba's well being or anything, but he just threw out the random bit of information, just so Kaiba could be more careful next time. There was a slight pause before Snake spoke again."And what the heck are you doing here? I thought you ran a business, and from what I know, you are defiantly not the fighting type. Mind explaining that to me? "Snake spoke calmly, and he still had his back turned to Kaiba. And as Snake spoke, he started checking out every one of his weapons, just to be safe that every one worked.

As soon as L asked where Misa was, Misa unexpectedly walked in front of the camera, covering the entire lens while talking on her tiny cell phone. "Misa knows that already, Nori-chan! Of course, Light-kun is too smart to let someone else cheat on him! He's probably so smart he senses others trying to cheat on him! Wh-what?! N-Nori-chan! What are you talking about? O-o-of course I'm not cheating on Light-kun!" She stood there, giving L a good view of her butt since she's so short.

Kaiba expected something like a small tussle from a guy dressed in full army gear covered in guns. It ended pretty quickly though. His manly grunt must've scared his assailant off. Seto extended his hand in a gentlemanly manner, slightly out of fear and mostly to give a false sense of security to the Solid man. With a grin, he dished out the formalities.

"Seto Kaiba."

Snake turned to face Kaiba, and he looked Kaiba dead in the eyes and spoke."I know who you are..."But as Snake should, he shook Kaiba's hand anyway."... But you still didn't answer my question..."There was a slight pause, as the Codec started beeping again,((And by the way, when the Codec beeps, no one but Snake can hear it, and when Snake talks through it, I'm pretty sure no one else can hear him either... but I'm not sure about that last one XD)) Snake looked at Kaiba, and signaled him to holed on. Snake walked a few steps back, and knelt down, and waited for whoever was calling to speak... and it was the Colonel.

"Snake!"Campbell said rather quickly, and Snake responded just as fast."What!?"Campbell just sighed, and spoke."Remember Snake, you're not on a mission this time, so theres no need to force any information out of anyone Snake, because something tells me, they won't have anything important to say. All you have to focus on, is winning this tournament..."Snake raised a brow, and responded."Huh? Whats that supposed to mean Colonel? You'd better not be hiding something again!"Campbell shook his head."Its nothing, Snake..."And just before either one could talk, Otocon piped in, and spoke."Snake! Do you realize who that man you're talking to is!?"Snake looked back at Kaiba, and nodded slightly."Seto Kaiba, right?"Otocon nodded."Exactly! You have just met one of the richest, smartest, and most powerful people in the anime world. And when I say powerful, I mean financially, and in the business world. In fact, it wouldn't be over exaggerating if he really was the most powerful man!"Snake just nodded, he didn't seem to believe them, but then again, this is Otocon, he does know everything about anime. Snake just sighed, and responded."So now what? It doesn't seem like I made a good first impression on the guy..."Otocon just shook his head."Nah, don't worry about it, he's not the type to hold grudges on people, and he's calm most of the time, so you should be fine."Snake sighed in relief."Well, I guess thats good news... so then, what abou- WHAT THE!?"Otocon raised a brow, and responded."What Snake!? Whats wrong!?"Snake just looked at Ichigo, and continued to talk to Otocon."Otocon! Who the heck is this guy!?"Otocon looked at Ichigo, and spoke."Hm? Oh, thats just Ichigo, don't worry about him, he won't hurt you..."Snake was about to say something, but Otocon interrupted him."... Unless you get him angry... if you get hit with that sword of his, its all over for you, so I'd be careful if I were you Snake..."Snake just sighed."Well... I've faced tougher things, right?"Otocon looked slightly nervous, and spoke in a nervous tone."U-uh... Snake, define, 'nervous'."Snake then blurted out."Whats that supposed to mean!?"Otocon just looked frantic, and then he spoke."U-u-u nothing! Don't worry about it! Uh... yeah, I've gotta go, see you in a bit, bye!"And with that, the transmission ended with Otocon..."Otocon....Otocon....OTOCON!..."There was a slight pause, until the Colonel came back."Whats the matter with him?"Snake just shrugged, and Campbell continued to speak."Anyway, Snake, remember, this is not a mission, so you don't have to be so high stressed, or have to get information out of people, understood?"Snake sighed contently, but he nodded."Yeah..."Campbell then nodded."Good. See you later then."And with that, the transmission ended.

Snake then stood up, but he stayed where he was, so he was in the middle of the two, but he directed his attention a little more towards Kaiba at this point."Snake... my name is Solid Snake."And thats all he said right there, now waiting to see what happens next...

"Question?" Kaiba said with a sigh. "You asked no question." But the response was in vain, as the man was busy having conversations with himself. Long conversations. After much pacing and deck shuffling, another man entered the room. Or maybe it was the Grim Reaper. Annoyed, Seto glared at the thing walking through the door. This glare was piercing and destructive, the kind that destroy the hearts of mortal kittens.

But then Kaiba got bored and so he turned to challenge the G.I. to an arm wrestle. At around that point, the army man got finished his conversation, and shook the rich boy's hand. "Snake, eh?" Kaiba replied, "What are you, some sort of wrestler?" Finishing the taunt, he stepped back to survey the two men, 'A dungeon master and a Heavy Weapons guy. This should be interesting.'
