The castle grounds were anything but comfortable. Houske continually wished someone would pick up the lamp, so that he could at least move from the rocky terrain. He has seen several passerbys... but they were not paying any mind to his lamp.

"This is boring... it's been what... 5 years since my last master?" He complained to himself. He so wished for SOMEONE to come.

Ayame wandered the closet of the mayor's office. It was filled with odd knick knacks and showed no sign of use. "The mayor was an odd one, I'll give him that..." Ayame glanced at the golden door that seperated himself from the world. "I just hope I'm not stuck here for long..."

The sun was almost all but set, casting a beautiful glow to the sky of a deep orange. Unfortunately, that did even matter to the man running down the path like a madman, head down scanning the ground as he went. His name was William Palmisano, and at the very moment he was approaching the castle at high speeds, he was randomly talking to himself in panic.

"God, where did it get to!"
"Why did I drop it-- HOW did I drop it!?"
"Where is that darn pouch!! GAAAAH!!!"

He ran past many people during his search along the path, not once noticing them. He kept looking around the area, trying to retrace his steps for that day...

Darkness everywhere, filled with only bits of light, the light that slid through the weaving of the pouch's leather.
He was bored yet again. It had been a funny idea to "let" the string that held the pouch around William's neck snap while the guy was sleeping under a tree, and it probably was still funny.
If only he could see what was going on out there.

Housuke noticed a pouch around the tree area. Since there was only a limit of how far he could go without the lamp's use, he had to throw a thread of grass at it to pull it closer. Inside was a black mirror. One of quite excellent craftsmanship. Housuke noted the mirror and proceeded to put it back.

"Whoever dropped this may be back for it..." That gave him the perfect opportunity. He sat near the lamp, mirror in tow.

The darkness alleviated suddenly, and he hid himself from sight. Somebody was looking into the mirror, and he realized that he had been found by this person.
"The mirror has been found by another. Then I shall wait." He thought.
He was thrust back into the dark.

William was still remembering what he had done that day.
"I woke up I went to the library I went for a rest I slept I went back home for dinner-- WAIT!" He exclaimed to no one. "I may have left it where I napped!" With that he stopped running and looked up, and found he was already there, face-to-bark with a tree.

"Now where did I leave it..." he muttered looking around. The sun was getting lower, and there was less light to search by. If he lost it now, it would be trouble.

Housuke looked up and noticed someone was frantically looking around the tree, where the pouch was. He smiled, "Are you looking for this?" He held up the pouch. He quickly slid the mirror into it and proceeded to wait for a response.

William jumped at the voice, slipped, and almost hit the tree, just catching himself upon it before it caught him.
"You! Yes! Where did you find that!" He said, his heart finally stopping it's attempts to jump from his chest. "*sigh* You can't imagine how glad I am somebody found that. Thank you..." He said, walking over, albeit, with a little stumble every now and then, the result of running for so long.

Zath had no idea what was going on. Magic? Mind reading? Shadow pets? What was the world coming to, he thought. Zath started to walk away in a different direction, but was not sure where to go, for the place, very unfamiliar to him, was like one huge continent.

Housuke helped the young man about and gave him the mirror. "I guess it's important to you..." As he was about to leave Housuke tugged at his arm. "Would you kindly take my lamp to the castle? I need to get inside for a sort of errand..."

Housuke had no idea whether this young man could tell he was a genie, but at that point, it was obvious.

"Lamp...? OH! You must be a Djinn!" William said with surprise. "Yes, yes, I will help you. It's the least I could do to say thanks for finding--"
He held up the small bag, the long laces of which he had tied around his neck like a necklace. He gave it an extra tight knot this time.
"--this. Er, it really doesn't matter all that much if you didn't, but did you... look inside of it?"

"Only a mirror? Nothing odd about it or anything?" William could tell from this genie's reactions that He hadn't revealed himself to this time.
"Well, anyways, it doesn't matter that much. A precious family heirloom and all that, and I didn't want it lost or damaged. Anywaaaaaays..."

William glanced at the castle. "...I've never been inside before, but I assume that somebody lives in there. Where do you need the lamp to go?"

Even back in the hands of William, he couldn't help but laugh a bit. The fool was too trusting from first-impressions, and all good things take a little patience.

Zath glanced at the two people talking. He kind of wondered about them, but at the same time, didn't want to be rude and interupt their conversation, so he just ignored them while walking in the direction he was going.

Housuke glanced at the castle. "Well, assuming you don't mind. I need you to find a magician... any will do. And that castle should be full of them..." He knew Djinns had a reputation for being infamously untrustworthy, but he hoped that wouldn't deter William from helping him.

Race: Fairy
Bio: Jazz's full name is Jazziora but she hates anyone calling her that. She's got no siblings and her parents were killed not long ago by a demon. She has quite strong magic, in particular healing and the power to move objects without touching them. She dislikes anyone who does wrongdoing, especially demons (obviously). She is determined to stop anything bad coming about and will do whatever it takes to do so.
Personality: Sweet, friendly, determined and humourous. However if someone gets on the wrong side of her, her personality flips and she becomes cold and vengeful. Jazz will do anything for the ones she cares about in an instant, and sometimes puts herself in danger for it, which isn't always a good thing.
Appearance: Floaty blue dress with translucent wings. Black hair, white skin and green eyes.
