Oooh. He'll be watching me. I'm so scared, Jasmine thought sarcastically. Another doctor barged in. "There's a patient in room two! She's having difficulty breathing! Come on, Newbie! Let's go!" that doctor said urgently as he almost literally dragged her away from the diagnostics department.

Stefan went over to the desk. "So, what just happened? Another novice doctor who couldn't prescribe her way out of a paper bag?" he asked.

Mira sighed. "The same one." Mira signed to Stefan. He wrote up a little something to the doctors at the hospital, then used the computer to into into Stefan's medical history. "What is your name?" Mira signed, remembering that he needed a name to access such data.

Mira typed Stefan's name in, but as he was about to tell him something, he noted that his skin was pale. "Hey, your skin is pale. Is everything alright?" Mira asked through sign language.

Then, as I panicked, I heard gunshots. That person was trying to shoot me. Th-then, I tried to drive home, but I have to pass through the mountains to go there. Mira recalled Stefan's reaction when he first saw the novice. He then remembered that he couldn't have heard her incompetence. "Was that woman from earlier involved in some way?" Mira signed to Stefan, trying to figure out what was going on.

"Umm...I can't be sure, but...S-she..." Stefan didn't want to finish. She was trying to get justice for something he did. If the cops were called, Stefan would have to confess his crime. Then, he'd spend the rest of his life in prison. However, if Mira decided to take matters into his own hands and kill her... there would be no way for Stefan to forgive himself for what he did.

Jasmine didn't acknowledge Mira at all as she was talking to a group of doctors. "Okay, everyone's clear on what they have to do, right?" she asked. The doctors all gulped and nodded. "Break!" All the doctors scurried off to do the tasks Jasmine gave them.

Stefan was behind Mira, and flinched when the doctors started scurrying. He really didn't want Mira to learn the truth, but he didn't want this lady to kill him, either.

Mira signaled Stefan to follow them. They were led to a car with no windows. Mira pointed them inside, then came in after them. Once they were all inside (and the door was closed), the car started moving.

"Before I saw you today," Mira began, "an agent told us to check the background of all employees. I already know all of their backgrounds, so why would he tell me to check again? You are the newest employee, so that puts a lot of suspicion on you. Care to explain why an agent would want us to check your background?"
