Within his mind,a picture of his mother.She smiled at him.Allen smiled back,walking towards her,but he couldn't move.Every muscle in his body felt like it was locked by metal restraints.
Suddenly,a shadow appeared behind his Mother.She didn't even notice,just kept smiling at him.A flash,a splatter of red......
Her smile turned to a look of shock.Her body dissapeared.
A cry escaped Allen.He could move now,but what use was it?His mother was gone.A shadow appeared in front of him.But,no menace seemed to emit off of this one.It wore a tatterted cloak,and amongst the black,white eyes,and a white bat symbol was visible.
((Eh,Purple Angel did it,so Allen's backstory :D))

The Phantom seemed to let out a sigh.Suddenly,the scenery changed.They were in a desolated city,buildings crumbled over into ruins,skeletons littered the streets,and the sky was filled with a red fog."What happened here....."Allen gasped with despair.I don't know.Sometimes dreams are a mirror to the future.
"This.....is the future?!"
The Phantom Knight dissapeared.Out of nowhere,hundreds upon thousands of figures surrounded Allen.They chanted until it drilled into Allen's mind.
"We are the Next.......We are the Next....Superior to Humans......they shall become extinct."

Dream exits the dream of Ceclia and wanders the void of the dreamless nightmares.
He looks beyond the shadows and watches as a child runs from a giant belt.
Dream manifested his physical self in the room of the sleeping child.
Must rest..
He looked at the child his face strained from nightmares of how his father beats him.
Dream reaches into a pouch and pulls out a grip of sand and spreads it on the child.
His face goes blank and then he smiles as dreams of his mother, long since gone, hugs him.
In the next room over there is yelling as the drunken father goes to sleep, his anger having risen by the fact that he was alone.
