"It doesnt matter, not now, at least" Master said as they continued, most creatures where too familiar with both master and Maria, and escaped as soon they detected Jasmine`s aura, a few hours later they arrived to a little village, Maria suddenly said "You 2 get food, I`ll go to the elder and ask for the werefol`s bounty" Maria went away leaving Jasmine and Master alone

Hubris stepped out into the city streets. Things had gone well for him.

"Why of course. Why do you think I called you instead of another sibling-- do you see what you have over them? That importance that caused priority?"

"So, will you wait for me? Here, until you can truly be of greatness?"

For now, all Hubris could do was hunt-- look for the right people to set this up. If he knew any better, merely being on the radar would bring over the attention he wanted: Hunters, demons, and especially Forticius. It would all work out in the end, Hubris knew that much.

The group departed once again, for about a week until they arrived to a rather big town with an airport, Maria bought plane tickets to New york, 2 hours later they where flying, Maria was sleeping while Master was flirting with every female he could find near the seat...

Invidia's eyes snapped open, staring at Samael.

"...you... are late." It said to him slowly at first, it's voice clearing rather quickly. "My brother... Hubris, had been gone for... centuries. Many of us have been... *cough* *cough*! ...What makes you so ...special, as to have such authority?? A weapon??! ...I-I want it."

Invidia's aura started to go full throttle, releasing itself without hindrance. As Invidia stood, it held out it's hand beggingly.

Invidia paused, hand still outstretched meekly.

"Hee hee... haheehee... I should be the one... to pity you now. Even I know the truth..." Invidia said, previously unseen arrogance in its gravely voice. As it spoke, something started to change in its hand-- the skin-material seemed to stretch out and expand, oozing from the palm into a long drip that instantly took shape. Once the base finished, a thin blade grew from the top. It solidified and changed color, until an exact physical copy of Samael's scythe lay in Invidia's hand.

It eyed its new prize curiously, occasionally glancing back to the real one with one eye, but never taking attention away from the new copy. Invidia's only care seemed to be its new prize, and comparing the two fervently-- it almost seemed as if Invidia had forgotten that Samael even held the real weapon.

((Mind boggling, isn't it?))

Jasmine just stared out the window for the whole flight, painful memories resurfacing. The last time she flew was with her father, who she now couldn't remember clearly. Every time she tried to remember what he looked like, the image of him as a demon would interfere. And again, she would relive having to kill him.

Samael said "The 989th rule of hell does not allow me to fight you in the human world now" after saying this, samael dissappeared leaving Invidia with the copied scythe, the lights returned to the Hotel...

Master read a megazine the last hour of the flight, Maria woke up a half hour later "Are we there yet?" Maria said yawning, Master replied bored "A half hour more dear" suddenly a very strong aura could be felt outside the plane, "Ladies and gentlemen we inform you that we are having a-" the pilot was interrupted and only static could be heard, master took his blade "Jasmine, Maria, wait in here" he went to the cabin, both pilots where killed and their blood sucked "...Vampires...".
Maria heard screams behind and took out her gun, a bunch of vampires entered the room "Vampires able to fly do not attack humans...what is happening?" Maria said loaded her gun with a round of holy bullets...

Jasmine never wanted to feel the sensation of demons again or use her knives to defeat them, but it had to be done. As the vampires hissed at the door opening, Jasmine threw knife after knife, not stopping until they all disintegrated. Once they were all gone, she picked her knives back up.
"What's done is done," she mumbled to herself. Then, she turned to Maria. "There are more than in storage. I can sense that there are. Let's go." She walked out of the storage room.

The sight was grotesque as the heads and limbless bodies of the flight attendants where hung and the vampires licking the blood from the floor, Maria shot them with the holy bullets turning them to ashes "This is not like vampires work...something is wrong" Maria looked at the ashes "These where not vampires, these where humans..." Maria said and then stayed quiet

Okashii continued to drive,actually ignoring all the people who tried to get him to pull over.He wanted some alone time right now.He began to hum a little tune to himself,right before he ran over somebody.

He abruptly hit the brakes,the tires screeching.Jumping out of the cab,he went to examine the person he just ran over."Please be alive,please be alive...."He muttered to himself.Getting on his knee's,the person he ran over wasn't human at all....rather humanoid actually.

It had black skin,and it was easily seven,eight feet tall.It's skin seemed to ripple,as if something alive was living inside it.Before Okashii could do anything,the creature lunged at him,trying to bite his head off.

San Desire left the building and vanished. Landing back in the blackness of the Underworld, he used his power to locate the freelancer Inner had mentioned. He located him on a road, facing something. Time to have some fun!
He materialised in human form a short way away. He moved to the road and stuck out a hand. His axe materialised. He wielded it with two hands and leapt at the creature, striking it down. He turned to the surprised hunter.
"I'm certain that thing's going to get up any minute, so what say we leave?"

Jasmine walked down the aisle of the plane, helping people out of their seats and escorting them out of the plane. They can leave. They can go home and forget this ever happened. But I can't. She felt her stomach twist. Was she actually jealous of all the passengers?
"Are you okay, Miss?" a little girl asked. She looked so cute with her little pig-tails. But as she came nearer, Jasmine's senses tingled.
"I'm fine," she replied. But she could see the girl's innocent face...But she wasn't human. A little girl. How could she be a demon? She's just a little kid! Jasmine began to tear up and threw her knife into the little girl's chest. She disintegrated instantly.
"She was...Just a kid." Jasmine collapsed, her face in her hands.

Maria saw Jasmine and then said coldly "The mother is behind you" the demon woman was rushing towards jasmine as Maria shot her, killing her "Now we are completely clean" she said and the said to Jasmine "Are you sure you are able to continue fighting the creatures of the night? You are not a hunter, what are you seeking? revenge? redemption?" Maria finally said "if you worry about every single death, the next one will be yours".

Or did you forget that already?" She turned to Maria. "I know. There was a time I killed every demon without any hesitation, but now..." She shook her head to clear it. "Now I just don't find it as easy. We'd better move on." She turned and began to walk away.

"Very good. I will be prepared to pay you any sum of money you care to name once you've completed the mission. Anything you could want...you will have once Forticius is dead." San Desire smiled and turned to the driver. "Stop here."
He climbed from the cab, and turned to Okashii, handing him a slip of paper. "That's the number you can reach me on. Thank you for your help."
Then he turned a corner into an alley. Once he was certain he was out of sight, he vanished.
'Fwoo-oom'.
"Hubris, we've got to stop meeting in lifts like this. I's unhealthy. Are you in a rush?"

Hubris nearly jumped, missing the door handle momentarily before reaching for it successfully. He kept his hand on the knob, and turned around to face San.

"Oh, no rush. Just getting into my own apartment before the stove burns it down. I left some popcorn on for when I returned." Hubris said, forcing a smile through the deluge of sarcasm. He really didn't want Invidia and this guy in the same room together-- even if it was a metaphorical idea, envy incarnate and an embodiment of desire would not bode well in close proximity. "What do you want now?"

Forticius appeared behind Invidia smiling "Greetings Invidia, you are as beautiful as ever" He kissed ít´s hand "I came to you my dear, to do a deal" Forticius grinned "You see, I´m so very sad that a weakling like Hubris uses a superior entity like you, but I want you to have the place, you deserve, I want to quit my throne of king of demons, and there is only someone able to take the throne" Forticius embraced Invidia " That would be you, so what do you say, no soul exchange, nothing, just help me to get rid of that title I´ve been carrying for too much"

Hubris didn't wait for San's reply. He felt the intruder immediately, and spun around to throw the door open.

Invidia remained motionless through all of Forticius's words, its eyes occasionally moving. When he greeted it, only the top eye opened and looked, with mild interest. At the mention of Hubris, Invidia rolled that same open eye back in its socket-- an unreadable action, considering the lack of facial features and expression. When he spoke of handing over the title, both eyes snapped open, and wide. Invidia did not know what that meant, but instinctively yearned for it.
It sounded glorious, something only one entity could have, frankly. Something none else could have.

"...mine?" Invidia said with a slight rasp. "It is m-i-n-e..."

The door to the apartment slammed on the inside wall and Hubris rushed in.

"...YOU. What are you doing, intruding?" Hubris demanded of Forticius, the air in the room becoming thick with tension and spite.

Forticius laughed "Invidia if you accept it you wont have to either obbey Hubris or the one who created you, think of it, and once you make your choose call me, I will be always be avaible" Forticius smiled and vanished leaving a card to invidia...

2 more nights till fullmoon, Samael was getting prepared, but something beyond his control happened "the demon king throne, possible heir, Invidia" if Invidia accepted, he`d had to take action on both Hubris and Forticius, but Invidia would free to do his will, but if Invidia rejected the throne, the plan would be the same, 2 nights, if Invidia didn`t decide by then, Samael would have to take only Hubris, Samael ramained motionless waiting for the 2 nights to pass
