Travis walked up. "You have an urgent phone call. You need to go home." He said, and his face snapped into a serious expression, his eyes focused straight and his back straightening, looking as official as possible for a 16 year old.

"Tyrey, I'm-"
Cheryl looked around, but saw no sign of Tyrey. She thought to herself, "Has he really left me?" Cheryl then fell to the ground and sobbed. But then, she clenched her hand into a fist. Her tears stopped. She got up, and punched the air.
"No more...No more will I be left inside a shell!"
Cheryl then slowly moved over towards a wheelchair. She got in it, and suddenly, burst through the door. She zoomed down the hall and into an elevator.
"What the hell are you doing?!"
"Getting away from this empty nest."
The elevator door opened, and Cheryl sped over to what appeared to be a limo. She slowly helped herself to get in, and yelled at the sleeping driver.
"Skye's House, STAT!"
"Y...yes madam."
The limo driver was blind, so he didn't know it was Cheryl. He thought it was his niece, who was visiting her grandmother. The limo pulled out of the parking garage, and sped off towards the Skye Residence.

The hall was empty. He stuck his hands in his pockets and strode over to Arxane's room, and sat in the visitor's chair.

New York, Lewis's office

Lewis got up lazily. He moved both hands onto his desk and pushed up to pick his head up from an assortment of papers. When he was in a normal sitting position, he blinked the fatigue from his eyes, and looked down. After wiping a bit of drool off of one of the forms, it came back to him. He'd been studying this case for the past few days, shutting himself off from the world around him, only leaving the office wen necessary. He wasn't accepting calls, responding to e-mails, or checking the news; he was simply too upset with this case. The damn judge wasn't listening to a word he said. Lewis knew this kid didn't belong in foster care, especially not with these foster parents. He'd spent ages relentlessly explaining, over and over again, that these parents were great parents, but the judge was too obsessed with fraud charges on the father--charges that weren't even legitimate--to even be open to any other opinions. Or maybe it was just because the father was black. Day after day, Lewis would keep looking over every shred of evidence to see if there was anything that would make the judge listen, but there wasn't.
Lewis had lost. He'd have to give up, as this judge was too close-minded and racist to listen to any shred of logic. All that was to hope for now was that they'd be able to get an appeal.
Lewis reached for the remote and pointed it at the TV, turning it on to the news.
"...week's top story, Arxane Gilder III, the city's favorite teenaged detective, was assaulted late the other night, and the attacker still hasn't been found. The police department is doing their best to find a suspect, but Mr. Gilder hasn't been allowing anyone other than close friends in his room. Here with us tonight is..."
Lewis shut the TV off. He was pretty sure he remembered that kid. A teenaged detective? It had to be him. Lewis grabbed his coat and went out to start his car.

St. Joseph's Hospital, Lobby

Lewis went right up to receptionist on duty and looked her in the eye. "Ma'am, I have to see Mr. Gilder."
"Sorry sir, he's not accepting any vis-"
"It's a friend," Lewis growled crankily.
"I'm sorry, sir, but visiting hours are over. Go get some sleep."
Go get some sleep? I just woke up damnit! >_<

Ini got out, and fell on her ass. She got up, fixed her white beret, and strolled to the back. She opened the doors and everybody helped Cheryl get out.

Hearing a familiar voice, Tyrey turned his head, and the smile melted off his face quicker than lightning. It was...her. His breathing became shallow, his face pallid, his stomach doing Olympic-quality flips. He began to sweat profusely. This couldn't happen. Look away, Ty, look away.
He turned back to Lewis and Arxane and acted as if nothing happened.

As the nurse wheeled Cheryl down the hallway, she noticed Tyrey in one of the many rooms.
"TYREY! TYREY! Come with me!"
Cheryl wished for him to come with her.

Cheryl was lifted onto a bed. Tyrey was there, and then Dr. Hotti came in.
"My...what a pretty girl we have. She will be my bitch. I shall enjoy you tonight."
"Get OUT!"
Cheryl kicked Dr Hotti in his balls. He died. Mia Fey then came in.
"I shall be your doctor!"
"Yes! Oh god....oh god! AHHH! AYYYEEEEE!"
Cheryl screeched in pain. It was coming...the baby was arriving! Mia covered Cheryl with a blanket and lifted up her kimono.
"Okay....I need you to push a bit."
