Jay jumped off the ceiling, flipping and hitting the floor. 'Okay, we should slow down now. We only used about half the power's potential, so it'd be good to save it.' Jay thought as he slowly began to decrease his forward velocity. It was a lot better to come down smoothly than to nosedive straight down, he knew. And before long, he was running at normal pace, and then stopping.
The brothers saw Tyrey and the others coming their way as they were standing there, regaining their breath.

((NUUU! Forum crash = Lana and Ema going offline... I just want to scream in their ear, "HEY! The forums are back up!" but they're probably in bed now... or are they? Are they as patient as I am? Can they wait...? I could, I'll tell you that much now.

I'm gonna have to do something about this... Maybe there's something subtly different about these bracelets, but the brothers are IN NO WAY affiliated or associated with any 'killing squad' or whatever... These were custom-made BY themselves FOR themselves.))

Valarie stared at the enormous house, her legs ached from all of the walking she did, she needed to learn how to drive. Valarie needed to take a break from all the detective work she was doing, time to relax and have fun.
Wonder who'll I'll meet in this place... She thought to herself.
As she took a deep breathe of the fresh air, she grabbed her suitcase and started to walk to the door. She slowly opened the door and said a shy, " Hello? Anyone here...?"
Ugh, I hope I'm not the first person here and the cold atmosphere really isn't helping Valarie's mood slightly went down and started to look for a room.

Ron watched silently as more people came in, only half interested, not wanting to introduce himself. For the moment, he was content on finding a room and unpacking his things. It seemed most of the rooms were already taken, but he managed to find an empty one, unpacking his things before venturing back out, slinking around the house and taking a good look at everything.

I suppose Max/Franziska and Ron/Dessie. You should too.

Tyrey pushed open the nearest door, with the guys...and Ema...behind him. It creaked slightly but opened. It was a bit old, with obvious cobwebs and dust. The interesting thing was that everything in it was made completely of glass. Glass bed, glass table...everything. It was enchanting, and charming, but was very strage.

"Huh." Ty uttered.

In the meantime, now that Lana was awake, and not happy about it, she decided to go to the kitchen and get a glass of water, when she saw the girl. "Hi." she offered.

Valarie turned her head to a familiar voice, and her memory gradually got better, she remembered the brunette haired woman.
"Oh, Ms. Skye! Pleasure meeting you here....you seem a bit annoyed, what happened?" Valarie didn't notice that she was getting ahead of herself in the conversation.
I wonder if she knows me....being a detective and all....Wow, talking and meeting the Chief prosecutor here is quite the surprise....

So I'm not the only one here.... Valarie grinned a little, but shook her head to not let it show.
"Oh, they're probably excited. Being stuck here for 3 months and you have to adapt to new people...." Valarie then shrugged with a smile.
She then responded to the second question,"Me? Well, I'm not sure. I'm Valarie, one of the homicide detectives."
She scratched her neck with her free hand before noticing she was still hold her suitcase.
She placed it on the creaky floor.

Jay and Jeremy looked into the room with the glass furniture and instantly began sketching it down for reference. They were putting everything in its correct place, in the exact shape it was in. The brothers loved to sketch; it was one of their favorite pasttimes.
Jay heard someone new come in and instantly took a detour away from the explorers, Jeremy close behind, and made it back to the front room. They never cared what they were doing; they always wanted to try to get to know most of the people they were around. Especially here, as they would be there for the next three months.
"Hello, miss!" Jay greeted as he came closer, "Detective Jay Slezak. The guy behind me is my brother Jeremy, also a detective... We've come to call ourselves Partners in Anti-Crime. Heheh..."
The brothers took out and flashed their badges at the exact same time as eachother (like always) and put them back away.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Ms...?" Jeremy asked, hinting for her name.

Jeremy and Jay alternated the next few sentences, explaining basic facts about each person.

"And those, other than us, are all the people that are going to be staying here for the next three months," Jay finished.
"That is," Jeremy added, "Unless more people decide to come over the next few days. And I wouldn't doubt the possibility."

Valarie smiled at the word ladies man, she can get a bit flirty at times. But she honestly tries not to do it.
"Mask*DeMasque?" She asked and didn't bother doing the jazz hands that went along with the name, " Wonder why he would be here, there's not much to steal...." She then looked around the corridor they were standing in, it was very old fashioned. About 100 years old, from Valarie's deduction.
Once again, Valarie turned her head to the voice of the newcomer, " Hello, my name is Valarie. Pleasure to meet you!" She held out her hand, she then started to get curious about the mask the person was wearing.

Seeing Valarie going towards her room, the brothers decided to do the same. They each ran to their respective rooms, opened, shut, and locked their doors at the same time (even the clicks of the locks were synchronized), and sat down on their beds, wondering what to do now.

Valarie finally found a room and started to unpack, placing her clothes in her wardrobe and various bits and pieces where she wanted.
She then threw herself onto her soft bed, smiling at the ceiling, she started to think what would happen in this place for 3 loooong months. Murder? A mystery? Robbery?
Valarie shook her head,once again, to the thought.
Must be my inner detective kicking in again....Hmm, I'm hungry, I should go see what type of food is in this place
She stood up, put on her trainers and tried to find the kitchen.

Ron sighed heavily. He was beginning to dislike this place more and more. Compared to his apartment, it was much bigger. And much more clean. Not to mention, he couldn't find anything valuable during his little search, so he had nothing but the prize money to look forward to. After much more walking, he began to wonder where everyone was. He hadn't seen many people yet. He slinked off to what he hoped was the kitchen, deciding to get a glass of water. While doing so, a rather nasty thought occurred to him. If anything at all went missing, everyone would immediately go to blame him, because everyone knew who he was. He shuddered at the thought, becoming even more nervous.

I suppose Max/Franziska and Ron/Dessie. You should too.

The strangest by far was a room of cheese, but after his experience in there, he will never talk about it. So, don't ask.

'That woman...' Jay began to think, sitting on his bed, 'Kitalea... I need to settle this score. These bracelets are a problem in her eyes... Apparently they're a... symbol of something, that's what I'm getting. However, I can bet for sure that these bracelets are in no way part of any organization. I need to calm her, ask her about the bracelets, and point out the subtle difference... How, though?' He continued to think, tapping out a rhythm with his foot, beginning to accompany it with his hand; slapping it on his thigh. He then imagined a melody to go with the rhythm. His head filled with a soft tune as he continued to think it all over.
Jeremy was also sitting in his room, trying to piece it all together himself. He was examining the bracelet for all its features, both obvious and subtle alike, so he would have a better chance of pointing out the difference in the bracelets they wore compared to the bracelets Kitalea apparently has hate for. 'Some of our friends are here... I wish more would show up... I think Vi would like this little "game"... haha...' Jeremy began to hear the tune Jay was hearing and began to tap along with it, adding his own bits to the song; counter-melodies, harmonies, and whatever else he could find to help the song grow.

'Psyche-Locks? What ABOUT Psyche-Locks?' Jay asked in his mind, thinking over how to go about asking Kitalea about the bracelets, 'Oh, right... If she hates them so much and doesn't want a stranger, who happens to be WEARING something similar to them, to know... of COURSE she's gonna have Psyche-Locks! And I have absolutely NO WAY to break them.'
'I guess we'll have to go about it a different way, then,' Jeremy replied, 'But you never know... If we can convince her these bracelets aren't what she thinks they are, we can get answers a lot easier. I hope nobody ends up having to die here...'
'...Great, Jeremy! Thanks for getting me worried again... But you're right. I hope nobody has to see an untimely demise before the three months are up... Sadistic little buggers, those contest promoters, eh?' Jay got up and roamed around his room for a few minutes, looking at the blank walls and the still-empty closet. He had everything he needed in his little black case, and he knew Jeremy did as well.
Jeremy pushed up the rim of his glasses as he thought, 'Hah, I guess so.' He also stood up and examined the walls. He then looked out the window. It was sundown already. 'Take a good look, Jeremy, because you won't be out in that for three months... Oh god...'
'Eh...?' Jay had heard Jeremy's sudden thought and looked out his own window. 'Ugh... Now I wonder if signing up for this was such a good idea...' He ran his fingers backward through his hair, sitting back down on the bed.

Ron silently watched Valarie for a while before slowly moving over to get something to eat for himself. Although he wondered what there actually was. He grabbed a glass from one of the cupboards, silently wandering to the sink and pouring himself a glass of water, figuring that would do him for now. He wasn't planning on getting involved in too many conversations unless someone talked to him first.

The sound of the water running from the sink's tap made Valarie jump, she turned around who or what was there.
"O-oh, Mr. Delite?" Valarie asked the cinnamon bun haired man.
He might be on the job to steal something, I better keep an eye on him....

"Hm...?" Ron turned around as someone said his name, giving Valarie a weak smile. "Oh. Hello there," he said with a small nod in her direction. "It's still sort of strange that everyone knows who I am... I don't think... I'll ever get used to it..." he mumbled, trailing off as usual. It was annoying, yet at the same time, it made him feel sort of... special.

I suppose Max/Franziska and Ron/Dessie. You should too.
