Without thinking, Anna hung up the phone. 'Enough of that.....' she thought disdainfully, flinging her phone, evidently not caring about where it landed. 'I guess I got some information, but I think I h-' "Anna!" Miles suddenly burst through the door. "You are not going there!" he said. "Go where?" she asked innocently, her gaze shifting to the floor. "To Wright's office!" he answered coldly. Anna could tell he meant it, but...

"H-How did you know that?" she asked. 'And please don't say, "You're the detective, you tell me!" or I will kill you....' she murmered. "Gumshoe called me. He told me you asked about Wright...And I'm not letting you go there!" he was very angry now, with his hands belled up into fists. 'That cravat of his looks like it'll combust any second....' she thought, and supressed her evil laughter at the thought. "He's changed. He's not who you think he is..-"

"Alright, I get it!" Anna shouted, and started pushing Miles towards the door. He, luckily, took the hint and left, but slowly and coldly. The look on his face when he yelled made in imprint on Anna. 'I'll never forget that look....' she thought sadly, turning back to her bed. Picking up the scrapbook, she shoved it back under her bed. She looked back up at her corkboard, but decided to keep the pciture up. She then grabbed the notes she had taken, and ripped them up into bits.

'Perhaps.....There's just some mysteries left unsolved....' she thought, and began to lock old memories deeply into her soul.

Iris sat they're on the chair right next to where the pink man died. She was stunned. "What happened, Mike?" She was so stunned. She couldn't even realize how stupid her question was as Mike just got here and she had been there the whole time. She just sat they're not knowing what to do.

"C'mon, pick up, dick!" Crystal murmmered. She decided to call up Daryan Crescend, he worked with her a few times before, so she knew his number by heart. An angry voice answered "What?!",she knew it was him. "Daryan! I've got a situation here! The pink marshmellow that owns Tres Bien is hurt! I nee-"

"Sorry babe, but that's not my field of expertise. Call someone else!" he hung up angrily.

"Dickhead!" Crystal shouted over the other line, even though she knew noone was there. It was dark out by the time she ended her phone conversation, she decided to call the next person to come to mind. Edgeworth. She dialed his number and waited.

Iris got up and walked outside and found Crystal. "I saw the whole thing, if you need me i'll beee at myyy housee." Iris walked to her house and tried to sleep but she couldn't the whole crime kept on repeating in her head.

Crystal saw Iris and smiled "Oh, it's you! Well, I'm not entirely sure what happened. I found him beaten up, my guess is, judging by the bruises, he was beaten up by Gangsters. Possibly lead pipes. Somebody that big getting beaten up by fists alone is pretty impossible." She said in a serious tone. She folded her arms and continued to wait for Miles to pick up.

Walking back down the stairs from Anna's room, Miles suddenly heard a sharp noise. 'Who could be calling me now...?' he thought, recognizing the noise as the phone ringing. He made his way to the end of the stairway, he paused momentarily, but shook off his train of thought. He then walked back to the living room, where the phone and laptop were. He then procedded to sit down, and back up the reciever. "Hello? Miles Edgeworth speaking." he said in a buisness-like tone. 'Perhaps, it might be a client....' he thought, waiting intently for a response.

Miles was caught off guard. "D-Detective Meekins!" he shouted, but then recomposed himself. "The owner of Tres Bien has been attacked? Alright, I'll call the necessary forces." without waiting for a reply, he hung up, and dialed the number for the police force.

"Hello? Who is this?" the voice commanded. 'Ugh, it must be the Chief....' Miles thought, but continued. "The owner of Tres Bien has been seriously injured in some sort of struggle...Please dispatch the necessary forces. As to who is speaking, it is Prosecutor Miles Edgeworth."

"Oh, Mr. Edgeworth, sir!" the Chief responded, his whole attitude changing. "Yes, right away." "Thank you. As far as I know, he's by the resturante he owns." "Alright." They both then hung up, and Miles, smiling to himself, returned to the laptop.

Crystal stood by waiting for the police to arrive. She sighed heavily and walked around for a bit. 'Guess I'd better call Mike. He must be worried sick.' Crystal thought. She dialed her cellphone and waited.

On the streets somewhere, Mike walked around until he heard the ring tone from Crystal's phone. "Hello......" he answered.

"Hey Mike....."
"Crystal, where on Earth are you?!" Mike asked.
"At Tres Bien, can you meet me here?" Crystal asked.
"Sure." Mike said happily. He hung up the phone and ran straight towards Tres Bien.

On the other side Crystal hung up the phone. She suddenly felt a hit on the back of her head. As she fell she caught a glipse of the attacker. His face was covered in scars. "Nothing against you personally but I must keep you quiet." said the man. Crystal closed her eyes to darkness. She laid cold on the ground.

Iris couldn't sleep so she went outside and saw a person dragging someone across the street. Right as they got under the street light. She saw that the person being dragged was Crystal. She was about to yell her name but made sure to keep quiet and followed the man dragging her.
(Let's just say that you were being dragged XD)

Mike reached Tres Bien but found no sight of Crystal. "Crystal?" he looked around everywhere, even inside the restaraunt itself, nothing. Mike looked down on the ground to notice Crystal's lucky cap. 'Crystal's cap......she never goes anywhere without it.' he thought 'Something happened to her. I know it!' he bit his lip angrily.

Suddenly, Anna's cell phone rang. "Hello? Detective Edgeworth speaking." There was a pause, as she listened to the other line. "Yes, sir. I'll be right there." She hastily hung up her phone and ran down the stairs. "Uncle!" she called, "I just got called. I'll be back later!" she ran out the door, and hopped onto her bike. 'What I wouldn't give for a police car. I hate biking around at night...' she thought, and headed to the scene.

A few minutes later, she noticed a woman who appeared to be in distress. "M-miss? Are you okay?" 'I'm early to the scene, anyways....I can afford a little banter."

"I-I think so." she said, "My ears ring and my head feels like an atomic bomb went off inside my skull, but I'll shake it off." she said smiling a bit.

Mike was running out of steam, "Huff......puff......where is Crystal?" he said aloud. 'How am I supposed to reach her?' he thought. He looked down at his megaphone. "OF COURSE!" he smacked his head. He pulled it out and screamed at the top of his lungs "CRYSTALLLLLLLLLLLL WHERE ARE YOUUUUUUUUU!!!!!"

"Ok" Crystal smiled. She went to his office and layed down on the couch. As she layed on the couch she stared at her locket again. "Come home soon Mike....." she said, slowly closing her eyes.

"W-what? Show me the way!!" he said excited. "What happened to my little star-shine?!" he screamed.

Meanwhile Crystal had a dream of when she and Mike first met.
At the park, small black haired Mike was playing with his favorite toy, his little police car in the sandbox. It was always his dream to be a police officer. At 4 years old, he had already planned his dream ahead, he was going to marry the prettiest girl, live in a blue house and work together as law enforcers.

As he played a big 3rd grader and his friends came over and laughed at him. "Aw, look the baby is playing with his car." he mocked. He quickly grabbbed it and held it high in the air.

"Give it back!!" he sobbed.

"Aw....the baby wants it back!" he laughed as he pushed Mike to the ground. He lossed his balance and fell knee first on the concrete, skidding his knee.

A few feet away he heard a beautiful and sweet voice. "Hey you bastards! Give it back!!" she cried.

The bullies turned around to a blond girl. She was covered in bandaids and bruises.
"Why should we?" the punk asked annoyed.

"Cause it's not nice, and I'll kick your ass if you don't." she hissed.

The bullies just laughed and kicked Mike while he was down.
Crystal then charged at them, giving them a whooping of a lifetime.

When she was done the bullies ran off crying. Mike laid still, trembling and inching away from Crystal. "D-D-D-Don't hurt me!!" he sobbed.
Crystal looked at his knee. "Aw..... poor thing.....here..." she gave him a new bandaid she had in her pocket and placed it on his knee. Mike looked down at his knee and looked at Crystal. 'She didn't hurt me.' he thought. "Thank you." he said blushing.
"No problem." she smiled. "What's your name?" she asked.
"Mike, what's yours?" he blushed again.

"Crystal- Hey, why are you blushing?" she asked.

"Ah! Well.....u-uh. Y-y-y-y-y-you're r-r-really pretty" he said.

"O-oh!" she blushed and smiled. "Thanks....."

Mike scratched his chin for a second. "Oh! Right! I never think of the location, sir." he saluted, "I only think of it if Crystal's there, sir!" Mike said seriously. "I'm like a lost puppy, sir. Without Crystal I'm helpless!" he looked down depressed. Mike paused looking down at his feet. "I should go!" he suddenly left in a flash and ran to Aviv's office.
