More gunners emerged and Soap turned around and sprinted to the edge of the roof. A grenade landed behind him and exploded as he jumped. He landed and ran madly. "This is Big Bird, we are landing in an abandoned carnival." Soap saw it in the distance.

Lisa turned to see the gunners. There were too many- there was no way the two could make it to the chopper on time! "Keep going!" she yelled to Soap before facing them. She only stayed long enough to throw the last of her knives, then turn again for a mad dash. Suddenly, she felt a sharp pain in her left leg. "F*CK!" she shouted. "I've been hit!"

Just when things were bad enough, a grenade rolled in front of them. "Bloody FUCK!" Soap kicked the grenade and ran insanely. "Five minutes. Where are you?!" The explosion interrupted Soap's response and he saw the carnival entrance.

Tennent stood at the firing range, aiming down the scope of his AUG assault rifle. He waited for the target to pop up, letting off a three-round burst between its eyes. "Very nice...." He examined the gun further, before remembering hearing word that Soap and Hawkeye would be back that day. Slinging the Austrian rifle over his shoulder, he made his way to the mess hall. He made a mental note to avoid the gray sludge. Finally walking in, he saw the two back from their mission. He clapped Soap on the back, sitting next to him. "Hey. How'd it go, mate?" he asked, grinning slightly.

Ruthe led them to the medical wing. The whole room seemed to be machines and wires.
"He's on life support. However, it would be a miracle if he lasted through the night. We don't know when his next heart attack will be, but..." Ruthe was hesitant about finishing that sentence. "He'll...die anyway. I think he..."
A couple loud coughs from Seth interrupted her.
"Be patient. He can't talk, but he'll write what he wants to say."
Seth held up the bard. It read, "Bye, Ruthe."
"Oh, of course he'd...Bye everybody." Ruthe left.
