The architect fainted. Sylvester groaned inwardly as he walked into the main body of the downstairs floor. Why were all the big figures in this city insane?

Chase had slight difficulty breathing, but still refused to concede. He pretended like he was being crushed and strangled, making choking sounds and waving his arms like he was in peril.

"Uh huh~!" Migoto replied, "Oh! I actually have a picture of me when I was little in my wallet!" She wiggled her way out of Chase's grasp, grabbed her wallet and came back. The picture she pulled out was when she was about 7 years old. One arm was in a cast and the rest of her was covered with scrapes, scratches, and band-aids. "That's when I tried I built a ramp off of my roof and rode my bike on it. The ramp collapsed and I fell into a rose bush."

Chase couldn't resist bursting into hysterical laughter. After a good minute, he wiped a little tear from his eyes and sighed. "That was funny," he said. Things came naturally funny to him, and his natural happiness from being with Migoto magnified it.

Chase smiled and kissed her forehead, laying down on the bed with his hands folded behind his head, closing his eyes and letting sleep slowly fall over him. He thought of tomorrow, and how they needed to get in touch with Sylvester. Maybe he would call.

In her sleep, Migoto had rolled closer to Chase. Her head had somehow ended up resting on his chest and her arm somehow got wrapped around him. The best part was, she didn't even wake up a bit.

The next morning, Chase awoke in a daze. His eyes forced open at the bright sunlight and he blinked a few times, yawning loudly and trying to sit up without disturbing Migoto's sleep. He put his head in his hands and ran his hands through his messy black hair, wondering what the day would hold.
