Layla stood, stretching her muscles out. She'd been on the roof a good few hours, thinking. Her appearance was very different from four years ago, and so was her demeanor. She now had long, straight blonde hair and wore make-up and perfume. She wore a flattering silver top with a japanese rabbit on it and skinny jeans with flats. Her eyes weren't very different though - very easy to trust. She'd taken to make-up for the attractiveness it gave her, and the way boys would stop to stare at the pretty american girl, but the perfume had been to addle those like Anthony who could smell things they shouldn't.
((In other words, Anthony, if we encounter, you WON'T recognise me. XD))
Layla concentrated and slid straight down through the roof, landing on the floor below with a soft thump. She repeated the process until she reached the ground, walking out through the door onto the beach which was looking particularly nice in a sunset. Layla sniffed the air.
I smell...burning.
