Eventually Sylvester got bored of the rant in front of him. He danced upstairs and into his room, planning to get dressed. Then he heard the voicemail on his phone and laughed.
"Dammit, Migoto! You can't just say 'the credit card company'! Dead giveaway...they'd state the actual company name..."
The tall man decided to send her a voice message as he danced back downstairs á la Cabanela. The voice message happened to be a looped recording of Vile screaming at Enzo.

When Migoto got the phone and listened to it, she burst out laughing. "Poor Enzo..." She said, dialing Sylvester back. "That poor guy is always getting yelled at. Oh! Oh!" She cleared her throat and put on her nerd voice again. "Mr. Sylvester. This is your doctor calling. We have your test results back. They show that you need surgery to remove that piggy bank that somehow got placed into your gall bladder. This is extremely important, so please call me back right away."

Sylvester listened to Migoto.
"Of course I got the messages. By the way, you used the same voice twice."
Sylvester put the device on speakerphone and rested it in a charging cradle as he began to change into tuxedo number 4. He put on the green tie today, exchanging the old lavender with a dark blue flower similar in shape to the rose.

"I'm not sure. There's nothing in the schedule today." Then Sylvester chuckled as he recalled Vile's rant downstairs. "Ah! Haha, yeah. Apparently, Gary and Essa went out for a walk this morning and Rose saw Enzo trying to use Essa's straighteners for God-knows-what-reason and told Reed. Two minutes later, Reed finds Enzo trying to HIDE the straighteners under the bed because he's managed to break them. Cue Reed chasing Enzo and going ballistic - no, scratch that - intercontinental ballistic in the middle of the lounge. And me 'n' Rose are just sitting there, laughing our heads off and eating teacakes and crumpets. Now, she's making popcorn! God, I love that girl! Haha!"

That was so romantic~! Sorry, I was watching a romantic film yesterday. Still not myself." Sylvester cleared his throat and checked around to ensure nobody was around to hear him. No, Rose was in the kitchen, Reed was ranting at Enzo and the couple were out. "I'll be over soon, then. I need to buy new straighteners first, though. Speak to you later, yeah?"

Leaving his phone to re-lock itself, Sylvester popped downstairs, where Rose was observing the rant. He nodded and muttered to her, "Hold up the fort. I'm heading out to fix things."
Rose turned to him and smiled. "You want me to record this?"
Sylvester shrugged and laughed, picking an album up from the nearest shelf. It had Migoto's name plastered across the front. "Why not? Just...don't show Essa."
Rose laughed as well before Sylvester strolled out to the front of the mansion, exiting through the single front door. He got through the driver's door of his Alfa Romeo after passing into the garage and set off for the nearby mall.

Migoto changed her clothes, brushed her hair, brushed her teeth and put on her make-up. She took off the band-aid on her cheek, for the cut was not bleeding anymore. Unfortunately, there would probably be a scar and Chase would not be happy about that. She did what she could to cover it up.

Chase nodded. "Sweet. I hope we can do something fun today. Something that involves larceny or excitement." He hopped up and bounced around in place, now on edge. He went over to Migoto and hugged her from behind. "You look great," he said, pecking her cheek.

The heavy amount of make-up applied to her cheek to cover up the scar transferred onto Chase. "Ch-Chase... You um...." she grabbed a towel. "You have cover-up on your lips."

Chase put a hand to his lips slowly, then looked at his fingers, noticing the makeup. Before he took the towel, he asked, "Am I pretty now?" and batted his eyelashes imitating her.

Migoto gave him the look. "you better cut that out right now before you get smacked." she said, firmly. A little bit of that tomboy attitude remained in her; she hated when people mocked her girly-ness.

Meanwhile, Markus sat in his small, dingy apartment. He sat on the old couch that had molded to fit his body perfectly after all these years. On his old TV played a Tivoed (TiVo being the only really modern thing in this apartment) episode of CSI he had already seen.

This wasn't inconvenient, nor did he dislike it. He loved the oldness of the apartment. The dinginess was a manifestation of his soul.

It was here Markus sat, cleaning an old Colt revolver despite not using it today. It helped him think. He wondered what happened to his panzy of a boss. He wondered if and when his boss would call him for another job. And, most of all, he wondered if that little seed he planted in the girl's head, the one about the Sophisticates and the Thugs being the same, was starting to sprout.

Chase tried to protest, but Migoto had already stormed out. He scratched his head in utter confusion. "Why does she do this, man?" he asked himself, debating walking outside himself. He decided to just stay inside, however. Hopefully she would just come back inside.

Migoto sat on the tree branch, thinking. She thought about what Markus had said, but dismissed it as nonsense. The sophisticates never hurt anyone. The thugs hurt everyone. Besides, she wasn't a sophisticate anymore. What did she care? Then she thought about Yuui. Although he was evil and a jerk, he was still her brother and she still loved him. She just hoped that he could go back to the way he used to be...

Chase reflexively jumped out of the way, but looked up to see Migoto on a branch above him. Still playing with the knife, he passively shrugged. "Wanna talk now?" he asked nonchalantly.

Just then, an Alfa Romeo speeded through the sky, narrowly missing a tree and clipping a wing mirror on another. Sylvester practically smashed the brakes, screeching to a halt a metre from the treehouse. He got out, slamming the car door behind him and casually waved.
"Hi. How's it going?"
