However, the bottle of Coke still lay on the table, the top off. Traces of an odd-colored liquid could be found on the rim.

Suzumi staggered, dizzy from the high speed they had gone to get here. Her eyes zoomed from Meghan and to the bottle in the man's hand. She took it from him as Mrs Q rushed in.
"Poison...someone poisoned this. I think we can assume a certain redhead did this..." She put gave to the bottle back to the man.
"Take it to Pharmacology. Meghan, help me lift Chris into the limo. An ambulance will only waste what precious time we have left. Mrs Q, get the limo ready."
"Right away, Ma'am!" Mrs Q bowed and rushed out of the room.
"Causing pain...AGAIN, Dahlia? What I told Meghan was only half the truth...you will pay for this."

Dahlia was on Dusky Bridge, a spot she had long put in the back of her mind...she check the label of the bottle.
"Will cause severe headaches for up to six hours if taken."
"WHAT?!? Grr...I'll have to get rid of this, just in case, even if he doesn't die. Hopefully he'll take it as a warning." She dropped the bottle and it broke with a satisfying smash into the river below.

Doug shook his head. "Fortunately, he should live. All it would do is put him into a deep sleep. I'm sure a hospital could treat him so he doesn't die in his sleep, but I'm not sure how much time they could reduce from the sleep itself. One thing is for sure, however; he'll be pretty fragile when he wakes up. He won't be able to walk for a half-day once that happens. Make sure he eats and drinks something after he wakes up. When your immune system is shut down, it really damages your system. But he should be fine."

((LSH, if you see this, and Dahlia's not back, we can skip ahead to them actually being at the hospital. It'll be a while before he wakes up still anyway... but of course, Meghan can still 'talk' with Chris if you're on while I'm at lunch break. Whether they're in the limo or the hospital. He still has to tell her about his findings, after all... it'll still be shocking information to her... and maybe even to Ms. Suzumi.

"...I j-just hope..." Meghan replied softly to Felix, focusing on carrying Chris to the limo; she looked weak, especially at the moment, but she was physically strong enough.

"Suzumi, quickly! He...Felix says he's in a sleep, but I don't...believe him."

Meghan whispered the last two words to Suzumi so Felix couldn't hear. Some tears were still streaming down her face, but she pulled through, and carried the body all the way outside of campus to the limo.

"...Wh-what if he doesn't make it, Suzumi? I'm sc-scared..."

Phoenix might have been sick, but he wasn't an idiot. No matter what was actually happening here he couldn't just let her leave. Not when he had so many questions. And especially since Dhalia or not, this was the girl he loved.
"Wait!" He got to his feet a little too quickly and ended up stumbling towards the door. He had to close his eyes to not fall over, so he wasn't sure if she was still at the door when he got there. "What's your name?" He asked.
