Dragon-Wolf came trotting back in and dropped something at Skylar's feet with a clatter. He stuck his tongue out and panted while wagging his tail furiously.

"Whatcha get?" Skylar asked, looking down. "Holy crap - is that a sword!?"

She picked it up by the hilt and lightly ran a finger across the blade's edge for a second.

"Wow... it's a sword!" she breathed. "Um, can anyone teach me how to use it?"
