"I don't believe I've had to do this before..." Gun was in firm grip as the glove shone in the light, being the only thing not in the shadows.
"But you gotta die." Gun was then pointed at the head of a scared, crying woman. One could hear her sobs and mutterings. Then suddenly, she began to chuckle.
"What's wrong with you?" The assassin demanded, considering she was about to be killed.
"The wind's tickling me. I can't help it." She started giggling more. Footsteps started to near. They echoed through the alleyway, creating an aura of fear and surprise.
"What the hell? Who's there!?" The assassin demanded, gun now quivering in hand. He could feel pressure coming from the source of the footsteps. Then they stopped. A man clad in black leather, hair just as dark with glowing red eyes.
"Pickin' on a girl, have you no balls?" The voice was in a mocking tone for sure. The new person then laughed. "It's summer, and you're wearing who knows how much even at night. You're no real assassin, either. Haven't heard of you, so..." At roughly 30 miles an hour, a boot attached to the man who was talking hit the assassin in the face, knocking him into trashcans and unconsciousness.
"Lady, it's pretty crappy at night, go home." He put his hands in his pockets, removing his jacket. Under it was a sleveless shirt that had a barcode on the back. He walked away, leaving the memory of that barcode shirt in her mind.
"Sir, what's your name!?" She asked. "I owe you my life, and I want to at least know the man I'm repaying."
He just smirked,and turned around, generating a flame with his left hand.
"Lady, my name's of no concern to you. I'm a fighter. You'll soon know it." He just waved goodbye, walking away. It was late, and there was a tournament a month away, he was training against a bunch of people who had powers like his, and didn't want to get caught up with his pants down.

Pat lay motionless on his bed, staring at the ceiling. As he suspected, he couldn't sleep. He glanced at the alarm clock on his desk. Five in the morning, huh? Might as well get up... He sat up slowly, rubbing his head. Patrick needed to train for the upcoming tournament. He looked like a small, frail albino boy with a staff, but he had an advantage nobody else could see coming. Patrick could hear someone on a roof nearby. So, he headed to that roof.

Wasn't too long after he got out of his home and he saw a fight going on. Pulling out a cig, he lit it, taking a drag while watching them go at it. "I'll take the winner." he thought, smirking the way there, hoping to get to use a few techniques he never generally gets to. He was deeply amused. If anything came his way, he'd catch it. If a fist came his way, he'd smash it and so on. Regardless, he found that fight very amusing.

Pat saw this punch before it was thrown. He put his staff in the way, catching Aren's fist at just the right angle: Aren's arm wrapped itself around the staff. Pat held fast, then gave the staff a sharp tug, pulling Aren off his feet.
