"Oh, wait! I forgot something! Gimme a sec, okay?" Elle rushed back inside. She went to her room, and opened her perfume drawer. She spritzed on some of her favorite scent, a light, fruity perfume. She grabbed a twenty-dollar bill and her iPod. You never know when your own personal mix might come in handy. Elle ran back outside and locked the door behind her. "Okay, now I'm ready. Let's go!" She grabbed his hand and pulled him to the car. "You're so lucky....You have your own car! I'm still not old enough to drive." She pouted. |

Alex caught a huge whiff of the perfume and smiled stupidly at the lovely smell. "...Huh? Oh, the car. It's pretty useful- wait. You're not old enough to drive? How old are you?" He asked, being pulled along by the energetic Elle. And speaking of which, his mind observed, why is she so pumped? They just met! His mind pondered this as he waited for an answer. |

"I'm fifteen. I'll be turning sixteen in November." She smiled ruefully. "Yeah, it sucks. But I can deal!" She laughed. "I've already started planning my Sweet Sixteen! It's gonna be awesome!" She smiled. "Okay, let's go!" Elle got into the passenger seat of the car and waited for Alex to start driving. |

Alex shrugged and started to drive off to the movie theater, driving carefully so as to not ruin the date. As he pulled into the parking lot he said another little prayer that everything would go well and got out, opening Elle's door for her. "W-We're here," he announced, feeling a little stupid in retrospect. |

"Awesome!" Elle squeaked. She got out of the car, and gave Alex a long hug, partly because he was so cute it made her want to melt, and partly because she liked giving hugs. It was in her genes. She hugged random people just for the fun of it. But at least this hug had a purpose... "Alex....You're one of the most awesome guys I've ever met," she murmured into his ear. |

Alex blushed more than red at the soft sound of her voice so close to him. He turned carefully so he was facing her, still flushed, and said, "You're the greatest person I've ever met, Elle," he whispered back. He had to wonder why he was changing from his reclusive self so much. Maybe it was just Elle, the way she brought out this amazing feeling in him every time she forced them both together. He really didn't mind, however. |

Elle hugged Alex for a second longer, then released him. "C'mon!" she said. "Let's go see what they have playing!" She grabbed his hand and dashed to the front of the theater. "Whoa...Looks like there's a lot playing tonight!" She scanned the list of shows. "What do you think, Alex? I'd be happy seeing any of these!" She pushed the list over to him. "You decide! I wanna be surprised!" |

Alex closed his eyes and pointed to a random movie, and his finger landed on: The Fruity Adventures of Peter Pan and The Mushroom Fairies. Oh, joy, he thought dryly. He pulled his wallet out and said to the clerk in a very small voice, "Two tickets for the Fruit movie..." He glanced at Elle, wondering how she could sit there and let him get a ticket to... THIS. |

More adrenaline pumped through him as she held his hand. When she asked him, he said, "N-Nothing, don't worry about me." Alex was skinny for a reason; he didn't eat much, but with the way Elle made his stomach flip around and dance, he was even less hungry. "What do you want, Elle? I'll pay for it." His wallet was already out. |

"Um, how about a large popcorn? We can share; you need some more meat on you!" She poked him playfully in the ribs. "And....I'll have a bottled water, too. I can't stand soda, it makes me sick!" She stuck out her tongue. "Oooh! I'll also have....some Starburst! And Junior Mints! My favorite candy! Oh, and M&M's! Can't forget those!" Elle loved chocolate. And mostly everything involving sugar. She ate a lot, she just had a really fast metabolism. |

Elle laughed. "Here. Lemme help you with that!" She grabbed the bucket of popcorn. "There. You really do need to eat more. You gotta build up some muscle!" She smiled. "C'mon, the movie's gonna start soon!" Elle led Alex into the theater. It was completely empty. "Wow...we're the only ones here..." She laughed. "Oh well. That's cool!" She sat down in the middle of the row that was halfway between the middle and the back of the theater. "Let's sit here, kay?" |

Alex dumped the candy into the seat next to Elle and sat down in the seat next to her. He thought he felt a trickle of sweat and felt his bicep. She's right. The only thing I work out is my legs, from running. He looked over at Elle, contemplating the risk of doing "The Move." But, he knew that was just degrading to his intelligence and sat back in his seat. |

Alex got out and closed his door. "Let's go inside, shall we?" He asked, and while he waited for an answer, his eyes weaved up and down her body, admiring her beauty. He'd never really gotten a good look at any of the girls he'd ever met, because he thought they would be afraid of him. But now, with Elle so comfortable around him, he got more courage. |

She grabbed his hand and led him into the building. The place was calm. Not empty, but not full enought so as to be crowded. It was pleasant. "Can we have a table for two, please?" She smiled at the waitress. |

Alex's heart was still racing, but he followed Elle into the burger place. The smell of the greasy food made Alex cough, and also wonder how Elle managed to stay so thin and eat all of this junk food. She somehow managed to eat ALL of the candy and popcorn, and still have room for more food! No matter how Alex sized it up, he couldn't see how it could all fit into that tiny, perfect body. |

The waitress led Elle and Alex to a small booth in the back of the restaurant. Elle sat down, and motioned for Alex to sit next to her. "Ma'am? I'm ready to order!" she said after quickly glancing at the menu. "I'd like a double cheeseburger, plain, a medium fries, and a large chocolate shake. Thanks!" She smiled at the waitress, then turned to Alex. "What do you want? Don't say nothing, you need to eat SOMETHING!" She laughed. |

"Haha, thanks!" Elle said as she, once again, wrapped her arms around Alex's body. He was so warm.... "I have a fast metabolism. Lucky for me. If I didn't, I would be fat." She stuck her tongue out. "And then it would be hard to find clothes....I have an obsession with shopping, you know. I love it almost as much asI love eating." And as much as I love you... "You come in a pretty close third, you know." OH. GOD. I did not just say that...... Elle blushed fiercely. |

"Y-You... [i]Love[/] me...?" Alex's head and heart spun, and his cheeks exploded with red. He didn't know what to say to that, except the only thing that was going through his mind at the time: "I...I love you too, Elle." For the first time, he hugged her back. |
