The Demon stabs at the ground where Saile had been standing seconds before.

The Demon pulled his claws out of the ground.

The demon slashes down at Saile
Saile rolls away from the demon and picks himself up.

The person was running low on energy, too. He did his best not to show it, but the group can see his stance getting weaker, and fast.

Walt tried to grab his blade, but he couldn't even move for some reason. He was way closer to the ground than he should have been...His eyes darted around, trying to see what was wrong. The heck? He saw that he was now...liquid. He had melted thanks to the beam. Walt shut his eyes, and soon he was back to normal, but he was even more exhausted. He could barely stand. He picked up his blade and pointed it at the stranger.

Saile jumped into the air, preparing to do a down slash on Mark.

Nare was examining the whole "battle" closely, just watching, until the scream pierced his ears, and his concentration. He didn't fall down like that crazy guy, but he still covered his ears as much as he could

Nadine snapped back to reality, still holding Saile's ring. The revelation of her father had stunned her into a stupor but as she saw the threat to Saile, she raised a hand sharply out of instinct and sent a huge fireball whooshing towards Mark. She didn't see Saile slashing down towards him.

Mark blocked Saile with his claws, and then grabbed onto both of Saile's arms
I'm not here to fight you weakling!
He then threw Saile at the crowd of lepers.
The fireball then hit Mark in the back.
So she does have fire.
He turned around to see his daughter.

Hurling herself forwards to throw Saile clear of the lepers, Nadine landed and felt a wave of nausea as her father adressed her.
Mark, I doubt anyone could miss you, however much Mum said she did, she said coldly, standing between him and Saile.

Mark backhanded Nadine with the full force of his body, slashing into her face with the blades on his claws.

Saile had just finished fighting all the lepers and turned around to see Mark standing while everyone was on the ground.
"You bastard!"
Saile reached into his *cough*Godmod bag *cough* and pulled out a modified Mauser c 69 he had obtained before he met the party. On the way out his hand bumped into a small sphere, it started shaking as Saile closed the bag.
"I never thought I'd have to use this.."
Saile pointed the gun at Mark and pulled the trigger.
After a long silence and a strange look from Mark; Saile came to a realization.
"I don't have any bullets."

Saile ran to Nadine, He couldn't get inside the shield but he could stand guard over Nadine.
He looked at Nadine's face, bleeding from what Mark had done.

He looked at Mark, who was still fighting Walt.

Mark turned his head to look at Saile.

Before he could even react Saile was flat on the ground with a Mark pinning his hands down.

The sphere split in half as Saile let go of it, causing a beam of light to shoot towards the sky.

Nadine had cleared her vision just in time to see the blinding flash of light shoot into the sky. It seemed familiar somehow, but she couldn't quite place it in her pain filled state. She shook her head and concentrated, the last of the cuts disappearing to leave her with a blood soaked face.

"My tricks?" Walt asked, raising an eyebrow. "You really don't get it, do you?" He was about to try shooting lightning at Mark's wings in order to damage them, maybe keep him from flying for a while. Then, he got distracted by a beam shooting towards the sky. And on the battlefield, such a mistake would be fatal.

The stream of light, whatever it was, set off warnings for the 'observer' as the satellite continued its slow orbit over the area. The increase of unknown activity, coupled with this sudden phenomenon, spelled a possible (and large) threat for Eden.
