"Crydas." Sylux cut in. "Anyway, we'd best be going. The MHQ is fifteen miles away, and Starscream fried my team's teleporters before he left. We need to hurry, unless anyone else has any form of transport." Sylux looked at his watch. "It's not Crydas we need to worry about at the moment. We need to concentrate on killing Starscream." -------- Nicholas smiled from his position in the rocks not far away. "That's right, Enigma...scuttle away, like you always do." He muttered to himself. "Soon, it'll be all over, and I can have my friends back." |

"Other transport?" Nadine smiled, happy to be of use. "If you all hold onto me, I can teleport all of us, if you tell me exactly where we're going?" I hope Zalost's there... Nadine thought in desperation. |

Before the fall of earth, Espionage found an alien teleport. A team went off in it. nThey never came back. Espionage have nothing to do with us. They have their own troops, their own emblem, the works. Also-" Sylux was cut off as a shriek emitted out into the night. Head Crabs. "Guys, fire at will!" He turned to Flux and Nadine. "Whatever you plan to do, do it quick!" |

"R-right!" Nadine said, nerves taking over. She grabbed everyone she could, closed her eyes and fixed the co-ordinates in her mind, disappearing along with everyone she was holding on to. |

"Ditto!" Flux shouted, grabbing on to a group of people and focusing onto his target. "Agh! Teleport-firewalls!" he thought aloud before wasting 5 seconds breaching them. "Zip!" went the puff of energy that replaced Flux and everyone holding onto him. The lights in the room Flux was aiming to get into went off for a few seconds. When they came back on, Flux & Co. were in the area. |

Walt was just about to say, "I can warp us, too," when the head crabs came. Then, just as he was about to make a wall of fire between them and the group, he felt himself get grabbed and was suddenly somewhere else. It never ceases to amaze me how quickly things change around here, he thought as he looked around. |

Hubris had yet to even stand up properly when Flux grabbed him and teleported. The following ten minutes was of Hubris away from the rest of the team retching on the ground with a splitting headache, like somebody was ramming something into his head. He really hated-- REALLY, REALLY HATED-- teleportation. "*gag*... so, t-two questions... where are we, and can I get some water to wash this taste out..." He said weakly, too dizzy to stand up, but still trying with wobbly results. |

When the Head Crabs came, Sky started scrambling up and was then grabbed by Nadine and sucked somewhere else. When they arrived at wherever-it-is-they-are she was really dizzy from the trip and started walking around in circles and banging into things. |

Walt sighed. He conjured water for Hubris to drink and then went over to the spinning Sky. "It's okay, Sky. Please, quit moving for now," he said. "And drink some water." He conjured more for Sky. |

Hubris drank his water greedily, spitting a little out to clean his mouth. He saw spots, flashing purple/green blind spots in his vision, slowly fading away. "One hell of a migraine..." He muttered, rubbing his temples, trying to sooth out the pain. It was like last time, the ache in between his eyes, although it felt like the scar on the back of his head was hurting just as badly now. He laid himself down on the ground again, resting until he got over this pain. |

That's right. Hubris had a similar reaction when we warped to a different lab. When we still thought of Nicholas as our ally. It really wasn't that long ago, Walt thought. "Do you feel better, Hubris?" Walt asked. |

"Yeah." Hubris lied. The spots were gone, but the ache was still there. He hoped they would be safe for a while, cause there was no way he could concentrate on his mirrors with this headache. "So, I can't really tell, but where are we? I didn't even have time to see the Crabs before we got yanked away to who knows where..." |

Nadine was now teleporting haphazardly around the area that they had arrived in, but never leaving anyone's line of sight. She was searching the skies and land desperately. |

Zalost thought It best that he not be to far apart from the group. He flew to the cave and found it empty. Hearing movement from the area he first met the group, He decided to teleport back. As he appeared he lost the teleporting skill. And met the head crabs. ARRGmhh! Zalost howled as the hear crabs jumped on him and smothered him. |

Nadine suddenly felt a tug of unease at the back of her mind. An instinct pulled at her, and she found herself teleporting. What am I doing?! she thought in alarm, but then she reappeared, finding herself back where they had been before, seeing a mountain of head crabs. She looked on in horror, and saw a flash of a cloak. "ZALOST!" |

"N-Nadine!" Walt yelled. She teleported away. Dang it! Where did she go? I hope she doesn't hurt herself, but she can only warp that quickly to places she has been before. I can't explain it, but I think I know where she is, he thought. "I'm going after her," Walt announced before teleporting himself to where they were before. There were lots of head crabs, all piled up into one place. Walt figured they were on top of Nadine and cast fire at them. |

"NO!" Nadine screamed hysterically, moving out from behind the mountain of crabs. "Zalost is in there!" Nadine had her dagger out and was slicing through the head crabs in a killing frenzy. |

Zalost tried to get up and run away. He couldn move, The head crabs were too heavy. He closed his eyes and expected the worst. It was then that he heard Nadine scream his name. He then relized that the crabs would try to kill her next. And he stood up, defying the bugs weight. Before he could react he felt a hot flame hit his back and he fell back down again and stayed down. |

Walt was surprised to see Nadine so suddenly, but stopped immediately. Then, she went in and started killing those crabs, unknowingly limiting what Walt could do. He settled with creating b]magical blades that cut through the crabs like butter. He hoped to uncover Zalost so he could cast a shield around him. |

"Oh, no... if we are going back, you can leave me here to wait for you guys." Hubris said, sitting up. "Last thing I need is to become the unneeded cavalry with the splitting headache." He stood up completely, and took a look around. He still had no idea where he was in the world, but at least he was in a safer location. |

After slicing through a particularly big crab, Nadine spotted Zalost's cloak again. She grabbed it and felt along the cloak to Zalost's arm. She held onto it tightly and teleported to about 50m clear of the fighting. He wasn't moving. |

Nadine was panicking, her hands hovering over the still form of Zalost. Please don't die, don't die... She leant her head against his chest and heard a slow heartbeat. She looked up and saw Flux running towards them. "HELP!" She shouted in desperation. |

"WALT!" Flux shouted. He teleported, returning half a minute later with an energy pack. "Walt! Channel this energy into yourself and help me heal Zalost NOW!" Now he spoke to Nadine. "In a metacrisis, a T\SBender can channel their energy into living sparks to heal the body............................even one of an angel. But it will probably hurt. Me." *sigh* Flux shot golden beams of power as they became puple shining, dancing sparks (entering Zalost's body). "Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaalt!" |
