But, the Skwires are trying to stop them, as they were the ones who turned the city into animals as a test. Eventually they mean to transform the Earth. Skwires are aliens who look pretty much like humans, apart from having jet black eyes with no whites and extremely long legs. They're stronger than humans, but some animals, like, say bears, could defeat them. They also move quite fast and don't sleep. Their aim is to kill rebel animals.

He was transformed into a centaur and has taken to wielding a large axe, which has various properties including an electrical charge if unknown fingerprints touch the handle. Despite this setback, he can perform task such as climbing stairs... although it does take a bit longer.

"What the-" Serge barely had time to think as a large ray of light came sweeping towards him. He threw his hands in front of his face in self defence, but the light quickly deformed them into large furry paws. His scream died in his throat and turned into a howl, which abruptly stopped due to Serge's surprise. He collapsed onto his front paws - hind legs were no good at standing upright. He was transformed. Serge swivelled his head round to look at himself and yelped in horror. He was a wolf, grey fur covering his entire body, apart from his whitened muzzle, and the tip of his tail, which was tinged a reddish-brown. He raised his head to the sky, and howled in despair...

In the night sky, a peculiar satellite floated over the city. It was shaped like a cylinder, but with four limbs, each of which ended in a fang-shaped needle, all four pointing down to the earth. In the centre of the cylinder, also pointing to the city, was a long cannon - aimed at the City. The ship was stationed in front of the moon, and blocked out it's reflected light. It was easily large enough to support over two hundred humans - and just as many Skwires.
((This is meant to establish the Space Station as one of the Skwire facilities and possibly a source of the light. We need somewhere for the Skwires to RP before they come down to the City, right?))

Serge began to prowl through the City. He could see other people who were transformed. A terrible thought struck him: If there were no humans, then the food would run out. And then... He shuddered. Serge was glad he was a wolf. "Hello?" he called, expecting to hear a growl, but he wasn't prepared for a human voice - his human voice. "Hello?" he called again with more confidence.

"...n-n-now... I know this box wasn't that big before...." He said, noting the box he was in moments before now dwarfed him in size.
"....what the hell happened?", he said to himself, as he walked out into the street.

The wolf prowled the side streets, calling out to anyone who would listen. He found the Skwire and the cat. He snarled, and knocked the gun out of Drayan's hand. He leapt on top of him, growling menaceingly.

Nat was suddenly confronted by an enormous man, carrying a small-compared-to-him-but-but-still-large-to-Nat gun, aimed straight at him. "Eee~!" Nat screeched, cowering in fear. '...oh, this is it....'
But then, there was nothing.
"....?" Nat looked up, suddenly seeing a wolf pounced on top of the intimidating Man, growling. "*Whew* .....!" Nat noticed the gun just a few feet away. He fumbled towards it, and pulled it out of reach of the man.
"Th-th-thank you...." He eventually breathed out.

Kira was, of course, sleeping when the light hit, but woke up with a start when the transformation was complete. "What the heck?" She turned around a few times, examining her new lioness form. "Hm, not bad." she said, trying to be positive. She headed out into the street next to her house to see a wolf on top of a man and a cat nearby. "Well, that was fast. A few minutes into this, and violence is already the answer."

Lily was in her peacful, immobilized state. One of the downsides of the transformation was that she needed the sun to function. On cloudy days, she was weaker than normal. Every night, she had to find a safe place to sleep, for she couldn't move at all when the sun was absent.
Lily felt the sun before she saw it coming. She automatically turned her face to the direction the warmth and light was oming from. She slowly opened her eyes and mouth, and drank in the precious sunlight. As she did so, her wings unfolded. They were bigger than she was, giving her an odd alien form. Coupled with her height, the two made her look almost fey-like. Her wings were a beautiful iridescent blue-green, the same color as the Caribbean ocean. She flapped them a few times, just to stretch out her muscles. Then she slowly rose off the ground.
Three months, and I still can't believe how amazing this is... she thought to herself. It had stunned her that she had known how to fly instantly. Must be the butterfly genes I got... She shrugged, and smiled to herself. Flying was definitely her favorite part of being a mutant.
Then Lily remembered whan had transpired the previous night. The Skwires had released the transformation upon the city. She remembered what it was like to be a new mutant: cold, dark, frightening. She decided to go look for new mutants, to see if she could help them get through the initial trauma. She took of, in search of someone, anyone.
Then, she saw them: a wolf, and a small cat, being confronted by a Skwire. She watched as the wolf knocked down the Skwire. She grimaced. Then she noticed a lioness, also observing the scene. Lily decided to make her presence known. She flew down to where the wolf, cat, and Skwire were standing. She hovered above them, slightly out of reach, in case one of them attacked her. "Hello! My name is Lily! Um, I guess you probably already know this, but....You've been transformed."

Dan stretched, then stared into the sun. Last Night.........That flash...... He looked around the streets, no one, not one animal he saw. He looked in dirty garbage cans, cars and even houses. He found no one, the town he was in was deserted. As he walked, he heard howls, he didn't see anything or anyone. What can that be? He thought as he ran and looked around the city, There's no one here! He then heard a conversation, he traced it with his newly evolved senses and he came to an alley. He looked in the alley, there was a inhuman thing holding an axe, in front of the unknown species, were two animals: A Rabbit and A Monkey. I gotta help them.... The dog made his presence unknown, as he approached with caution.
Dosu looked on a building top, searching for his next victim. "Hmmmm, what's that...?" He turned and put his eyes on his binoculars, he saw a wolf, cat and a butterfly. "Hehehhe, here we go..." He jumped off the building, falling at a fast pace. He then activated his gliders and flew to his victims' destination.

Lily hovered over the city. The sunrise was beautiful; she drank some more sunlight. This tasted clean and fresh, not at all like the artificial light from the night before. Then she remembered what she was looking for. A small animal. She dipped down and flew over the city, scanning the streets. Then, she saw them. A small white rabbit and a monkey. They were being confronted by an axe-bearing Skwire. Lily sighed. Why did the Skwires have to make everything so difficult? She also noticed a dog, watching them from the shadows. That might be Kira's sister! I gotta help her!
Lily dipped down, closer to the scene. She wanted to fight the Skwire, but butterflies aren't well-equipped for combat. She sighed, and landed on the ground, out of sight of the others. She picked up a small rock. That would have to do. She rose up off the ground and drifted over to the Skwire. Did, did he have....horse legs? This might be another experiment! Yes, he looks like a fusion between a Skwire and a horse....A centaur! But still, even though he is part horse, he's still a Skwire! And that means he's my enemy! Lily, in one quick motion, hurled the stone at the horse-Skwire. Without looking to see if she hit him, she grabbed up the rabbit and monkey, and quickly flew up into the sky.
Lily flew for a few minutes until she reached a skyscraper with a flat roof. She landed softly, and gently placed the two animals beside her. They were shaked, but unharmed. "Hello, I'm Lily...." she said in a soothing voice. "Don't worry, please! I'm not going to hurt you. What are your names?" Then she remembered Kira. "And, are you, by any chance, the sister of someone named Kira? She's looking for her little sister, and is very worried."

Other: Though he is very strong, he prefers not to fight when it is avoidable, but will if there's no other choice or when innocent people are in danger.
Jack stumbled through the streets, he hadn't slept at all within the past 24 hours. Late that night he had been in a park, enjoying the peaceful darkness until he saw a wall of light on the horizon that was swiftly closing in. He had braced for when it hit him, knowing full well that he couldn't block light. When he had opened his eyes, his head felt kind of funny, so he staggered over to the lake in the park and plunged his head in. When he pulled his head out and caught sight of his reflection, he ghasped in shock. A bison was looking back at him! Jack came to the conclusion that this was all just a wierd dream and decided to wander around until he woke up.
By the time the sun rose, the reality of the situation set in, so Jack began searching to look for anyone else that may have been changed. After a few hours, he ran out of energy, ducked into an empty alley, and lay down on the ground to rest.

Nat moved up to the Wolf, somewhat in awe. At his current size, everyone looked very impressive, but as he moved forward, he tripped and stumbled over the gun he had been fumbling with, tumbling headlong into the Wolf.
"Oof.. *thud* ....Oww... oh, I'm sorry.... *Blushing.. as cats so often do(XD)* ...Ummm... Th-thanks.... for all that..."
Nat had just noticed a large Lioness... though again, everything was large to him.... He decided he should probably introduce himself.

"Serge." the wolf growled. He started to pad away. It was daylight. He stretched, yawning slightly. "Breakfast." he said, breaking into a run, heading straight for the butchers. His wolf body had him craving wolf food and he jumped onto the counter, ripping apart a good sized steak.

Kira laid down on the ground. "I guess there's nothing to do except wait-" She heard a distant scream, high-pitched and young-sounding. "Beth? Beth!" She sprung up and ran to where she heard the scream from. She found the centaur and knocked him to the ground with a roar. "Where the hell is my sister? What have you done with her?"

He shook his head, and Ran after Kira, She seemed to be rather distressed. He arrived to her roaring in the face of another... thing. This one appeared to be a centaur. In his current state... fighting would be bad.. so he roamed around the two fighting. He was moving around when He heard a *DING* from behind him, and he saw... a Monkey and a Bunny getting into an elevator.....
'........okay...'He dashed after them, seeing if they were okay. 'I mean.... with all these dangerous guys around, it's just the right thing to do.'
