In a world seemingly normal, there lies a war waged within it. Those who wish to destroy it, those who wish to protect it.
Many have arisen to either side. People have fought for years attempting to win. But will these sides have to kill off one another? Or will we witness the coming of a new faction that wants both dead?
Either way, there'll be people making excuses to smack each other around or just to kill each other. So pick your side. Choose wisely, for the fate that is yours rests on it. (Sorta.)

----Story as it stands:----
Despite the recent events, neither side is relenting. A mysterious man in some sort of armor has appeared. Apparently, one in the side of evil knows him rather well, but who is he? We know of his name, but the man himself remains a mystery.
Speaking of mysterious meetings, apparently, the Blood Wolf and Darkness know each other. They strive to kill one another, but they still spare each other. What is their relation? Brothers, former friends.... their relation remains a secret to all but them. Because of this, they meet on occasion, to talk. Never to fight until the end is near for it.
What is the real motive to their final battle? Who is that which plans to revive the enemies that had once enslaved mankind? And who is this "Kurenai" Seigi has loved so much?

Heroes:
Residing in their headquarters known only as the Cocoa Building, these super powered youth and others alike have united as one under the blade of their leader only known to them as 'Blood Wolf' a man who intends to slay the Darkness by his own hand. They have fought numerous battles at his command... and have had their share of wins and losses. However, evil still stands strong and they know not of its source. And so they fight on.

Villians:
Enemies of those who oppose them, even each other. Numerous separate factions define the side that is the Villians. Although not united, they still stand strong, fighting anyone who comes across them. Despite their dysfunction, one entity still stands before them as commander. That entity is the Darkness. And until the darkness is slain, the war still goes on.

Powers: All Drain, Elemental Defense and Offense (All elements are at his command. However, once he releases each, he becomes significantly more dangerous.)

Story: Having ended a previous similar war by assassinating the heavens, he decided to take the Cocoa Building in order to secure a HQ for his fellow hero. To this day, he seeks to end another by destroying hell itself. His motives are unclear. Although one thing is for sure with him. He has killed thousands in his wake in the name of justice. No one has fought him and lived to tell the tale unless he wanted them to... or because he kicked them too hard in the face... he has bad habits that tend to go overboard with stupid kinds of cruelty.

Story: Sayoko Harukaze is a 7th generation Shinto priestess who was born with great spiritual power and abilities. One day, while venturing in her family shrine's well, she stumbled upon a magical magatama that amplified her special powers, as well as being able to transform her into a powerful miko. Deciding that she wanted to use her powers to save people, she vowed to become a superheroine. Shrinesmaid is a rookie, and thus does not have much experience under her belt. She is hoping she'll be able to gain more experience and knowledge and work with other heroes to protect those in need.

Story: Issa comes from a very ancient line of beings that were orignally persecuted in the middle ages. That's right, Witches and warlocks. His people were lucky enough to to not be found and continued to grow. Eventually some branched off to Japan and that is Issa's branch. When he learned a huge amounts of spells he said he wanted to be a super hero! His whole family of course said no but Issa qucikly teleported away and trained himself. He eventually reached Cocca Headquarters by do many odd jobs but that is a very different story.

Powers: Can control light energy, and is able to concentrate it into harmful beams. Can also fly.
Abilities: Is very agile and intelligent.
Story: Aria is a kind street-girl with no past. She never had a home, until an agent of Cocoa saw her fighting with her powers. Ever since then she has been extremely beneficial to Cocoa's aims.
Appearance: She has long, curly blonde hair and blue eyes. She has large, gold and white angel-like wings that grow from her back. Is tall and slender.

Name: Xero
Age: 21
Form: Armored robot. Is a normal human, but has to transform into the robotic armor to be able to use it.
Abilities: Expert use of his sabre and arm cannon. Resistance against most melee objects.
Weapons: One arm cannon, one sabre (normally sheathed)
Story: Xero used to work with a scientist, being an assistant. One day, however, evil had struck the land, and the scientist had come up with a robot. However, it turned evil, and had to be destroyed. What was left was the outer casing of it, and Xero asked if he could have it. The scientist gave him a device that allowed him to summon the armor to encase him when he needs protection. He now fights for the greater good, and works on his own, though he aims to help anyone that he can.
Appearance: Think Zero from Mega Man X, except short brown hair, orange armor, a larger arm cannon, and a sabre with multiple ends.

SUPER NAME: Jade Roach
Real Name: Roger Pryde
Age: 19

Affiliation: Heroes
Persona: Smartmouth, bigger ego. Tends to taunt opponents into making a mistake, then seizes the moment they do. Flirts with female villains in order to get them making mistakes.
Powers: Able to create balls of energy (his most basic attack, 'Jade Blaster' is an example of his power), and is also able to switch between two forms, or 'Modes:' normal and Burst. While in Burst Mode, his attacks are much more stronger, yet he has to conserve a lot of energy for his most powerful attack, 'Aeria Gloris.' (AE-ria GLOR-ees) Once he uses that move, he reverts to normal Mode and has to get more energy to change back to Burst Mode.
History: Roger was a science experiment to see if humans could manipulate energy. It worked, yet despite that, the scientists weren't convinced that the results were final.

He wears an emerald colored hoodie with a black ski mask, black sweatpants, black fingerless gloves, and green sneakers. He is 5' 6", and weighs in at 150 lbs. He has celery-colored eyes and black hair under the hood and mask.

Background: An extremely accomplished martial artist and weapons master, she was a professional assassin for the government. Considering her power, she was the government's top agent. But one target she was sent to kill had his children in the same room as himself. She couldn't commit the murder and the government fired her. She has dedicated the rest of her life to fighting for justice.
Appearance: Long black hair, dark blue eyes. Clothed completely in black, including the mask over her eyes.

Story: Formerly at war with the heavens for the death of his family at their hands (he was born to a clan of dark mages. Although Dark Magic is used commonly, his family used it for evil purposes and for money... the heavens didn't like that. Which is why he was cast into th inner depths of hell. Years later, he became its king through a constant rise in power.) he saw the opportunity to take the life of its leaders... before the Blood Wolf interfered and killed them personally for unknown motives. Because of his hatred of the Blood Wolf for taking what he believed was rightfully his, he wages war against him with the forces of hell at his beck and call. Although he would still rather just kill everyone else for sheer amusement.

When she discovered that their leaders had died, she was furious at not getting to defeat them herself. So she sought out the Darkness and joined him, becoming one of his most trusted allies, in an effort to destroy the Blood Wolf.

Story: Magamus is an unknown entity who's background is shrouded in mystery and speaks little of his origins. He is a dangerous supervillain, and is practically powerful enough to take down gods if he so wishes to. No one whatsoever knows that he hides this persona under the guise of Earl D. Greyson, a master businessman who also runs a secret organization... not a guy you want to make angry.

Appearance: As Greyson, he appears as a tall, well-built and friendly man with slick black hair and a red business suit. As Magamus, he is a muscular, red and black skinned creature with long orange hair and wears gold and black worn around various places of his body.

Name: Dr. Dream
Real Name: Alloysus Duran

Powers:
* "Dreamwashing" - An ability that allows him to take control of a person's mind while they are dreaming and thus alter it into a state of hypnosis in which they interact in real time while in a dream-like state.

Story: Alloysus Duran was a scientist studying on the altercation of dreams, though at one point the head of his project found it to be too dangerous and thus had the funding for it cut off after an "accident" that resulted in the death of 2 test subjects. Vowing revenge, he donned the identity of Dr. Dream, a madman who can brainwash others through their dreams to commit horrible, unspeakable crimes while in a state of ignorant bliss... while they are dreaming. He has developed a powerful psychic ability to brainwash people through this method, which he calls "Dreamwashing".

Story: Not much is known about the villain known as Boogeyman... he had come one day from out of nowhere, and struck from out of nowhere... making his first impact in a rather messy ordeal that left everyone wondering who the true perpetrator was... that crime remains unsolved even today. Boogeyman is said to be an otherworldly foe, and wants nothing more than to create chaos. The only other thing known about him is that he works for the faction called Evil Inc., and is among their best villains.

Story: Shino Mayuzumi was created from the tattered remains of a young girl that was brutally abused and then left for dead. Her old persona is still in her conscience, but "Darkness" saved her, you could say. The young girl was placed in the most grusome machine you could imagine and the darkness poured over her innocent soul. For saving "her" life, Shino swears loyalty to "Darkness".

Age: Unknown (Believed to be 20-22)
Powers: Flight, the ability to control smaller objects with telekinesis
Abilities: Energy blasts, using the objects with telekinesis as shields/projectiles
Story: Mephiles was born with dark powers in a dark world away from this one. He was banished here when he lost the war against the Angels which came down to purify it. It was on this planet that he honed his dark powers, gaining abilities such as telekinesis, the power to control small objects, or even objects his own size, but nothing bigger. His dark essence gives him the ability to control all dark power around him, except those controlled by higher beings (like The Darkness, etc.).
Appearance: Very few ever see his true form, most simply see a human form shrouded in dark mist. His eyes glow yellow, and his body and face look charred. It looked as if he had been burned with Light energy.

Name: None. (Literally. He doesn't have a name. Notice why in the bio.)
Age: N/A
Form: Shadow from the darkness.
Powers: Copying weaker powers from whomever his form copies. Looking like an almost exact replica of whomever he wishes. It is never obvious what tells him apart from whom he copies.
Bio: This creature was made from gathered darkness thanks to various fights around the city. He takes orders from no one except those he feels a connection to (like Mephiles, due to his pure hatred and rage), and causes havoc. Most havoc is caused by impersonating people and seeing what results come of it. He seems to be gathering information for some reason...
He barely talks. Most of his speech is unintelligible babble.

Neutral (or too lazy to choose a side in some cases.):
Name: Starlord
Age: 21
Powers: Flight. When harnessing the Light Orb, he gains teleportation and regenerates his wounds. When using the Star Orb, he becomes faster and stronger.
Abilities: He can manipulate the Light and Star Orbs to increase his powers. However, the Light Orb makes him lean towards the Darkness' side, while the Star Orb encourages him to fight for the Blood Wolf.
Story: Being from Britain, Starlord was visiting the city surrounding Cocoa when he noticed two small orbs in a shop. They were second-hand and he thought they looked rather pretty, so he bought both of them and carried them every where. Exposure to these Orbs gave him the power of flight and opened his eyes to the heroes and villains of the war for who they really were. He set of to fight in the coming war, but the Orbs clashed over who he would fight over. He soon became neutral, but still fought in the battles for whichever side the Orbs dictated him to fight for.
Appearance: He has shoulder-length brown hair a black eye-mask with a ruby set in between his eyes. This eye-mask hides his eyes, so the eye colour cannot be recognized. He is averagely tall and rather thin. Where he hides the Orbs while fighting his enemies is rather debatable and unknown.

Name: Maki Hayami

Wielder of powerful Dark Magic

Story: Very, Very, Very little is known about her. She seems to have orriganated from the same blood line of Witches from the middle ages. Besides this, her history is seems to have been erased by something or someone...She does seem to want to find others like her though for some reason.

Powers: Telepathy and telekinesis
Background: After discovering her and her powers, a research facility took her away from her parents when she was seven. A few years later, the government took her away to run their own tests. Now sixteen, she has escaped from the facility and is searching for COCOA.
Appearence: Looks like a normal sixteen-year-old girl, besides her white hair and mismatching blue and green eyes.

Aria was in the training room of Cocoa. She silently punched and kicked the punchbag, sweatdrops gleaming on her forehead. She paused for a moment to wipe it with her arm, and glanced at the door. She had gone over her scheduled time again, but no-one had come to reprimand her, or give her the 'Other People Need To Use This Room More Than You', lecture, or, perhaps, if they were feeling really sadistic, they'd pull out the 'I'm Concerned About Your Health, Have You Considered Therapy?' speech. Aria scowled and went back to training. She should make use of the extra time.

Xero got back to the lab, and without a word, took off his armor, showing he wore normal clothes underneath, and laid on his bed. A lot had happened today, he decided. He needed sleep; he didn't care about the war right now, he had other things on his mind...

He drifted off.

((Ignoring the post I made on the Invision boards... Also, the profile I submitted to Doken had labelled the Orbs wrong. The Light Orb is the one that increases strength, not the Star orb. And vice-versa. Sorry Dx))

The cover of night was a blessing to those who wished to skulk and creep. These were villains and they were thwarted by the heroes, typically. But there were some people who were villains one day and fighting by the side of the heroes the next. These people were fueled, not by justice or a want for peace, nor for money or personal vendetta, but for their own reasons. The person skulking in the back alley of a street at this very moment fell into the category of these people. He saw a criminal and a police officer just outside of the alley - fighting over something that he was unaware of. The battle between justice and personal want inspired his interest, so he slowly moved out of the alley, fulled by the Light Orb, and quickly beat the officer to death. The supposedly arrested criminal saw his chance and run, thanking the stranger for saving him. The criminal didn't run far before Starlord flew above him and finished him.

Yuki sank into a leather armchair. "Eddie...." She motioned for the man to come sit by her. "Can I have some company?" she said in a sweet voice.

Thanks to his machine-bed and his armor, Xero was able to rest in an hour rather than eight.

He got up, and walked outside. It being night, he had to watch where he was going - he might end up bumping into a villain. Watching his steps, he quickly zoomed back over to the plant where the criminals had stolen the chemicals. He kept watch around there, seeing if anyone would come around.

Starlord was prowling the streets, heading for the chemical plant that had been breached earlier that day - there was nothing that stopped the villains from returning and Starlord intended to stop them if they did. He neared the plant quickly, his flight powers speeding him along. As he quietly arrived at the Plant, he saw a sentry - or one of them fancy works of art that were actually just insane and made of rubbish. A slight turn of the head from the armour confirmed that it was a sentry, liking a superhuman. Was it a villain was the question.

Starlord came to a quick conclusion. He may be a hero or a villain to the public, but the chances are he is an enemy to me. He absorbed the power from his Light Orb and quietly tried to avoid the sentry's view. After a few minutes of skulking, the thought Bollocks to that! went into his mind and he bent his knees and sprang into the air, making sure that the sentry could see him. "Hello there!" called Starlord, throwing a rock at the suit of armour to make sure he was seen by Xero.

Xero turned, dodged the rock and aimed his arm cannon at the stranger. "I knew someone would come around here, and I was right - there's got to be something important in this plant." He then lowered his buster, seeing as the man was not actually attacking him. "Who are you?" He rose an eyebrow.

Shino, while Edward and Yuki were cuddling, began to over-look the city from above. She spread her oddly-crafted wings and silently flew threw the air with a sort of deepened grace. She turned her attention over to the the scene of the most recent break-in.

"..." She noticed to people. One she knew as an enemy, the other was an unknown. She neglected to notice this other person as launched a lightning bolt at Xero.

Xero heard a crackle, then turned and held up his arm - the lightning bolt hit the metal and the entirety of his armor electrified itself - it was noticeably hurting him, but he held out his buster, charged... and shot the lightning bolt, plus particle cannon shot, right back at her, taking all the electricity that came with it.

((Also, nobody really knows Xero except Yuki - how does Shino know he's an enemy?))

"I? I am neither here nor there, neither a prince on a white horse or the wicked witch. The blades I fight are the blades I choose to fight and the officers I fight under are also of my own choice. I live life free without constraints except the constraints life brings just by existing - your petty war does not bother me in the slightest. I am the free spirit among you caged animals, under the command of a harsh keeper who destroys you if he feels like it! I am Starlord, free spirit!" Starlord's peculiar manner of speech would keep Xero's brain going for a while. "And who may you be, nameless suit of armour?"

Starlord's attention was focused on Xero, the other person was ignored for the time being.

Xero turned to Starlord, ignoring whether his attack would hit Shino or not - she was not his concern. She would be next, however.

"I am Xero. I'm not a power-inherited person by any means; this suit is what gives me the right to protect this world. And by whatever means, I shall do so. I do not know why I am attacked from all sides all of a sudden, however; perhaps the villains consider me against them because I am not in their little group? Either way, what brings you here, Starlord?"

Yuki tilted her head to the left. Was that.....fighting? "Excuse me, Eddie...." She sprang out of the seat and jumped out the window. Flapping her small wings, she flew over to the chemical plant. To her surprise, she saw Xero, facing off against some odd-looking man. "Xero!" she squealed. She touched down on the ground a few feet away from Xero. "What are you doing here?"

Xero turned to Yuki. "I was investigating this plant when this man came down and talked to me. Of course..." He pointed upwards at Shino. "I think she's attempting to kill me. Why is that?" He tilted his head in confusion. "I would figure most people don't know what I do..."

As Xero spoke, a maniacal glint appeared in Starlord's eye. "Why I am here... is none of your concern. Whatever reason I have, I do not wish to be shot by someone with a cannon on their arm." Starlord's eyes remained fixed on Xero as he flew backwards, attempting to get away from the suit of armour. However, his body language suggested that he would enjoy nothing more then a fight with Xero at the present moment. It is better to remove the threat then hope it wasn't as threatening as it first appeared.

The arrival of the fallen angel caused Starlord to grab the short sword hidden on his back. Better to be prepared then to not be prepared.

Shino waved the lightning out of the way. She could tell those two were going to have a bit of a chat, so she went ahead and landed. She was somewhat curious about what they were doing. Out of the blue, however, came Yuki. Shino simply gave her a solem look. Then she said,

"You're very playfull with this one aren't you Yuki-san?"



(@ Xero: The reason is simple. It isn't really an ability, but since Shino was born from Edward's power, she shares a TINY amount of it. She cannot read minds, but she can Share thoughts with whoever she choses. In other words, if she does this with someone, she can read their mind and they can read hers.)

Seeing the sword come out from behind Starlord's back, he stepped in front of Yuki protectively. "So you say you don't want to fight... but you sure look like you do." He put up his arm cannon. "Well, what is it, then? Do you want to fight or not? I don't see any reason to fight if you are not against me, but if you so wish it...?"

"Hmm...." Yuki shrugged. "I don't know!" She turned to Shino. "Playful? Shino, Xero and I are old friends!" She shook her head in a teasing manner. Then she turned to Starlord, and her face hardened. "Don't you dare hurt Xero! I'm stronger than I look!"

Shino wasn't exactly shocked to hear this, but she did motion for Yuki to stand back. "If you're even bruised, Edward-sama will not be in a good mood." She stood next to the robotic man and softly said,

"Pardon my behavior. I knew of you through Yuki's memories, but I didn't know of your friendship." She then turned to Starlord. "But I'm curious. You're not part of any faction, whether it be good or evil. What is your purpose?"

The raised arm cannon meant business, it seemed. "As a free spirit, I am tied to nobody! But I sincerely wish to oppose whichever side you are on, Xero!" However, the threat from the angel caused him to pause. "I have no desire to fight more then I can handle. But I was thinking your dear Xero would know to duel me on equal footings, somewhat like honour in a duel. One person against one person." Starlord showed little signs of retreating, but he always had it as an option. There would be plenty of opportunities.

"A....duel?" Yuki frowned. "I'd happily duel you, but I could kill you easily. And I don't really want you to die, right?" She took a step back. "Xero, fight if you want. I'll make sure nothing happens."

Xero held his arm up to signal a moment's peace while he answered Shino. "My purpose is to protect this town and this world. I am not interested in this war, but I am interested in protecting Yuki if possible. I am not a villain, but I am not known by heroes either. I stand on my own, yet I am not neutral. I guess you could consider me a... partial-hero, hm? As such, I do not wish to pick a fight with you or The Darkness, as I did meet him earlier, and he did not attack me. As long as I keep my business out of the war, you do not oppose me. Does this sound fair?" He then smiled softly as he added, "I will protect Yuki, however... no matter what." he whispered this last part to Shino.

He then turned to Yuki. "Starlord speaks the truth... let me handle this, Yuki. I do not intend to allow you to get hurt. I've accepted his duel, and I must fight it on even ground - teaming up on him would be dishonorable." He then turned to Starlord. "I am almost as you are, but I aim to protect this world and this realm. If this puts you in a position to do the opposite, I guess that makes you my enemy!" He began charging his arm cannon. "Now's your time to choose whether you're seriously going to fight me or not!"

((You probably were asking Starlord the question and not Xero, Ayasato. XD If so, sorry.))

"I appear to be a tad busy, my dear. I will answer your question shortly." Starlord was reserving his energy for the soon-to-be fight.

"It seems you intend to attack me whether I answer you or not!" he called back, absorbing as much of the power from the Light Orb as he could. A swirling vapour of white and black swirled around his hand temporarily, signaling that the Orb had no more power left for him to take. The vapour faded as Starlord used flight to fly over Xero, then he doubled back in mid air and flew down, standing in mid-air over Xero,attempting to kick the back of the armour's head with his heel then flitting back up.

Yuki nodded, and hopped backwards, perching on a nearby ledge. "Hey Shino, get some popcorn!" she joked. "This'll be fun!" Giggling, Yuki settled down on the ledge, eager to watch the fight. Yet she was also extremely alert, ready to defend Xero in a heartbeat.

Xero saw Starlord fly and stop over his head. 'Fool,' he thought as he aimed up as soon as he tried flying off and let loose a large particle wave, which shot straight at Starlord, and stretching even further up - no stop in sight. As he did so, he said, "Don't underestimate me either, Starlord - it may be the last time you say anything!"

Starlord did not even attempt to begin a snappy retort as he moved further away from the particle with in a diagonal direction, guessing that the wave would get weaker. Once he got far away enough for his liking, he dived down, going straight through the wave without too many injuries. He shot back over to the fight like a dart, drawing his short sword as he moved. He noticed Xero's sabre, and so decided to keep his distance. He picked up some debris from the fight - another large rock - and threw that and Xero, aiming for the head.

Xero aimed his buster at the rock and fired a simple shot, breaking the rock with relative ease, before charging up again and firing a large wave at Starlord. If he moved, Xero would be sure to move his arm cannon to follow. Without flight, this battle wouldn't be as easy as he had hoped, but he wasn't going to give up yet.

Besides, he smirked to himself as he thought, Yuki did want to see the powers this armor gave him... and she was witnessing these first-hand as he fought.

Starlord threw a second rock at Xero, moving back as he did so to avoid the beam. Once again, the course was aimed at Xero's helmet and it looked to be accurate. He then dived down suddenly, then moving rapidly right. The rock would distract Xero for a moment, but he would then notice Starlord's movement direction easier. Starlord then stopped for a moment, darted up and continued right, varying his altitude as he did so.

Not noticing the rock as the particle beam was following Starlord, it hit Xero's helmet square in the forehead plate, knocking it clear off him. It took him by surprise; he staggered back and the beam went everywhere for a split second before stopping completely. He looked up at Starlord and narrowed his eyes. "If you want business, I'll give you business!" He then took out his sabre and inserted it into his arm cannon, charging it up. A few moments later, he aimed it straight for Starlord and released the blast - a thousand little sharp particle waves shot out of it at and around Starlord's position. "Try and dodge this, hotshot!" He was quite irate by now with the rock-throwing and the persistent fly-avoiding.

Starlord instantly threw his body backwards, moving away from the particles. They would eventually reach him, but... Starlord returned the Light Orbs power to it, and took the power of the Star Orb from the Orb. He used the power to teleport to appear straight behind Xero. He quickly drained himself of power and the power of the Light Orb was absorbed again. It was wearing him out, to be sure. He didn't want to have to make a sport of it - just something as deadly as that called for desperate measures. He didn't go for Xero's neck, but he attempted to kick the back of Xero's armour with his entire foot before trying to move back, away from the irritated Xero.

Xero watched Starlord disappear. "Damn teleporter..." He then felt a slight smack on the backplate of his armor. Confused, he turned around, and saw Starlord. "I don't know what you were trying to do, but a simple kick won't budge this armor. It's quite heavy..." He then rushed straight at Starlord with his sabre, seizing his chance to wound him.

Aria paused for a moment. "...Fighting?" With one final swipe at the bag, she leapt out the window before it had stopped swinging.

She flew, almost horizontally, towards the warehouse. She was flying so fast she had to run about 12 feet before it was safe to stop. "What's going on?" she said, folding her wings bend her back. This was quite an impressive feat, as Aria's wingspan was about 15 foot.

((Please, don't mess up the fight. XD I know she asked that question to herself, but I've already had two interruptions for this, and it's almost done.))

Starlord squawked at the sabre rush, so he start ascending, to get out of the sabre's radius of hit. He then suddenly darted up, aiming to get as high as possible. But seeing as this was the best opportunity for it... Starlord pulled something out of his pocket. It looked like an arrow that you would place into an archer's bow, but it was fairly useless for the purposes of archery - the reason was that the feathers were ignitable, and there were some low-level explosives inside the hollow shaft. Unless it got in his eye, it wouldn't kill Xero - he dropped it anyway, after setting fire to the feathers with a lighter he threw into the debris after dropping the arrow.

Xero looked up, and saw the fire-arrow - he dashed away as it hit the ground and exploded, then turned and fired a quick particle wave at Starlord. This had to end soon, he thought, because he was starting to run out of steam, and he knew Starlord was as well.

Starlord attempted to keep up the illusion that he was still full of energy, but underneath he was running out of energy and wouldn't be able to keep fighting for much longer. The constant flying was enough of an energy drain as it was. The next particles wave looked to be harder to avoid then the last one as, without energy, rapid flying wouldn't be quite as easy. Instead, he flew away from the beam, but also down. He picked up yet another rock, hurling it towards Xero, but it might not of been able to hit him, as that wasn't the intent. It still could, possibly. However, Starlord soon darted back far enough to give himself some breathing space. "This shall be enough for now! I have reached my conclusion, Xero!" Starlord replaced the power back into the Orb so he could focus entirely on flying. If Shino wanted to ask her question again, she would have to find him again first. He flew back into the shadows of the streets, exhausted from the fight.

Xero watched Starlord fly off, and did not answer his question. He did, however, turn to Yuki and Shino and gave them a thumbs up before wobbling a bit and falling into a sitting position. "Argh, that drained most of my energy... And I already slept a bit too! Well, doesn't this suck..." He shook his head, his vision getting a bit blurry as he concentrated his energy on his consciousness as his arm cannon cooled off, his sabre already re-sheathed.
