I will copy the rules down (I will change a few, though, so look at them again!), and the character limitation is 15, not 12.
Basically, Fire Emblem is a game where you control a legion of people, each person having their own weapons, styles of battle, hit rates, critical hits, and classes. You use the customizing of your team to your advantage.
In this RP, however, only 15 'hero' characters will be accepted. Once that is over, the signups will be CLOSED. I will say when this happens.
We will also have Support Conversations. After a time, I will allow the participants to choose two chars (either a 'cute couple' or a 'best of friends' kind of SC) and we will hold a special SC for the two chars chosen. There will be many allowed; I will decide whether it should be two new chars or if the participants can choose two existing people in an SC already. There's only three allowed for two people, but they can have three with various others as well by the end of this RP.
Here's the rules I must ask everyone to follow:
1. We will be following the weakness list as governed by FE. Meaning, Sword>Axe>Lance>Sword, Anima>Light>Dark (I think, please correct me if I'm wrong, it's been far too long since I played to remember the entire list), Archers>Peg/Wyvern Knights.
2. If you start crazy shit in the RP for no reason or break any normal RPing rules (Godmodding, taking control of another character, for example "Uhai hits Jay. Jay falls," when Uhai is your char, will be breaking RP rules), the participants will have a vote whether you can stay or you leave. If it goes too far, however, you will be asked regardless to leave. If you do not, the others will simply ignore your presence.
3. Please, PLEASE type coherently. I can trust a lot of people for this, but there's some that still don't do that. This isn't really a rule, just a favor. Use good grammar and spelling, use quotation marks and the 3rd person, and please use good judgment in your words. If English is not your first language, we'll spare you some grief.
4. As for the Support Convos, I'm not going to do a "majority rules" thing, but I'll be deciding in the end who gets what in terms of SCs. I'm going to be very fair, I promise. The reason I wish to ask what you guys want in SCs is because I want your opinions.
5. EVERYONE gets to chip in. This RP can be what you make it, if we all help each other describe stuff, make plot twists, etc.

Well, I might as well go ahead and post my bio, so here we go!
(On a final note, only three Lords will be allowed. Remember that Lords cannot Class Up, so you won't get to change your fighting style if you choose one. Oh, and you cannot allow yourself to die, either.)
Name: Xero
Class: Myrmidon (Quick-footed swordsman, good with critical hits)
Weapon: Swords/Katanas
Starting Unique Weapon: Blade of Fury (Katana) - Very fast sword, Xero can use this to wipe out legions of enemies in a short time. However, this weakens him greatly after having done so. This weapon, like all others, WILL deteriorate after a certain amount of time.
Attitude: Serious and determined, but often naive. Xero rushes into battle without thinking often, but he looks out for his friends and defends them.
Appearance: Short blue hair, green shirt, blue jeans, sheath for Blade of Fury on his back. (Also for any other weapon once it runs out), blue eyes, serious demeanor.
Position: A knight of the Arsenian Legion.
Also, if you cannot RP well, I must ask that you do not join. I want this to be a SERIOUS RP! I do not want crazy shit happening. I'm VERY serious when I say this. If you start crazy shit in this RP, I will ask you to leave.
And, here are the five lands:
Verdia, the grasslands (Home to most Mages, some swordfighters)
Saskia, the sands of the world (Home to axe-wielders and some mages)
Arsenia, the Noble Threshold (Home to most Knights and Lords)
Larcenia, the Thieves' Den (Self-explanatory) (This is the EVIL land, the land that starts the war. :P)
Moltalir, the mountain kingdom (Home to peg. knights and wyvern knights)
WE WILL NOT START UNTIL SOME SIGNUPS ARE COMPLETED. I want a nice beginning to this one, as happened in the old RP. I know we can all make a good story happen, so let's get to it!

Starting Unique Weapon: Progenies - A tome of black magic that is supposedly a heirloom of Ledrith's family. The last person who wielded it was... touched in the head, to say in the least.
Attitude: He tends to be silent and not the friendliest type - to strangers at any rate. He sometimes nods off and begins to speak in weird languages that make very little sense. Once warmed up to, he becomes slightly more relaxed but sometimes places the pursuit of knowledge above general safety.
Appearance: Portrait
Position: Second-in-line to a powerful house within the regions of Saskia. He currently resides in Arsenia to further his studies.

Starting Unique Weapon: Cascus, a well-crafted spear made with an ashwood shaft. The spear was given to Alwin after his father’s retirement. Along the shaft is written several verses of prose glorifying the actions of the spear’s pervious owners, and now recently including his father’s.
Attitude: Alwin is often seen as a bit stuffy because of his normally strict adherence to the rules and regulations, but he can tell when it is absolutely necessary to bend them for the greater good. He takes his time when he makes choices and rarely does anything without thinking of, at least, the intermediate consequences so as to provide the best possible outcome for everyone.
Appearance: (21 years old) Alwin wears a light, emerald colored breastplate with his family crest, the footprint of a lion enclosed by a triangle of spears, engraved in gold in the center. Underneath his minimal armor he wears a simple, tan linen shirt and a pair of wool pants. He has short and well-trimmed, brown hair and light green eyes, and he stands at a slightly taller than average height.
Position: The son of a now retired officer of the Arsenian army, Alwin strives to live up to his father’s expectations of him becoming a great leader on the battlefield. Though he shows a large amount of potential for the position during drills, he is held back by a lack of experience.

Starting Unique Weapon: Aqua Star, a special water-element tome. It is not weak to any elements nor super-effective against any elements, however it is more powerful than the usual tomes. However, it takes a lot of her energy to use.
Attitude: She is typically cold and aloof -- this, however, is more of a front for her inner side that is caring and amiable, but only those close to her get to see this. She is always determined and will never back down from a fight, and does not like to lose. Hates to be alone and is scared of the dark, though she'd never admit it. She is a strong person and will place others above herself. Extremely prideful, and this often gets her into trouble. Intelligent and fairly clever.
Appearance: Fourteen years old with waist-length, very dark brown hair. Her eyes are emerald and her skin is fair. She is about 5'3" (about 162cm), weight 90lbs (about 40kg), and has a slender build. She wears brown, cloth boots that reach a little higher than her ankle, and wears dark blue thigh-high socks and a light blue skirt accompanied with a long-sleeve shirt of the same color. Finally, she wears a dark blue cloak over it all that reaches to a little below her knees and black, fingerless gloves. She rarely puts the hood up from her cloak.
Position: An orphan whose only living family is her older brother, who is twenty-three (he's a myrmidon). However, it works most of the day as a Verdian mercenary, and she more often than not helps him with jobs. They will only work for a good cause. She's been training in magic for almost three years now and is fairly skilled. A very quick learner.

Trees and grass sped by as a barely-visible shadow and form rushed towards what looked like a pretty big battle.
Stopping just short of the battle, he scanned for how many of the survivors were left. Not many, he thought. He had to act quickly; an old friend of his was stuck in that battle, and he couldn't let her die.
He rose his sword into the air, and disappeared temporarily. Within seconds, a line of enemy Larcenian soldiers fell over, blood coming out of their wounds, all having almost slashed them in half. He then turned around, and disappeared.
The other Larcenians, seeing this, decided to try and swing around to find him, but soon found themselves falling over and slowly dying.
Though there were only three survivors remaining, he had made it a point to save each and every one of them that he could.
Within moments, he reappeared in front of one of them, and sheathed his sword. "You're lucky I'm a Myrmidon, Grace. I wouldn't have reached here that fast if I wasn't."

Starting Unique Weapon: Rising Dawn: A spell only the royal family of Verdia can use. It will never break and is fairly quick. It does fair damage too.
Attitude: Kind, caring, a little scatterbrained. Loves treasure of any kind. Will put her country and people always first.
Appearance: Long silver hair, white dress down to above her knees. White gloves, wears a red broach with the royal family crest on it on her chest. Silver slash around her waist, silver cape around her neck and silver boots. Her eyes are light blue.

Verdia was just ahead. Xero nodded in response to Grace. "Well, war is almost unavoidable when we have five kingdoms. Though every kingdom but Larcenia understands how different we are and works together in that aspect, Larcenia themselves want to rule more than just one kingdom. And they intend to use force to do so, at least that's what I've been hearing."
After he said that, they found themselves in front of the castle. "Ah, here we are. We have to talk to Princess Saria and inform her of the possibly impending war, so they can begin defending themselves. I'm also here to help if necessary. I'm guessing you'll help as well?"

Suddenly, they both eyed two people approaching. A young man and a young woman. Pulling out their lances, they both made an X across the castle door.
"Hold! State your business at Verdia Castle!" The one on the right yelled.

Starting Unique Weapon: Thalion, a longbow left in his possession when his uncle died the previous year. Made of yew and handcrafted several years ago, the bow was given to David's uncle as a gift for helping a clumsy traveler out of a tight spot. Carved with a few small notches, presumably the number of battles that it has gone through, the bow has seen little use after it's previous owner.
Attitude: He is patient and tactful, preferring to use stealth attacks opposed to close range combat. He cares a lot about his friends, but hardly refuses to yield to those who stand in his way. His knowledge of wilderness survival is inseparable from his attitude in most cases, usually choosing the most logical thing to do.
Appearance: Sixteen years old with hazel-green eyes and mid-long brown hair. He's 5'9" and 115lbs. He wears a dark green tunic with a almost black cloak and dark brown slacks. His boots are sturdy and yet comfortable for running. He also wears tight, dark brown gloves and an arrow sheath over his right shoulder.
Position: A mercenary at the present time, seeks his uncle's killer in passive pursuit; he requires more information before he can proceed further and uses his position as a way to acquire that.

"Please. They speak the truth. Let them through."
A young woman suddenly came out of the castle doors, her red high heels rapping along the concrete. She was dressed in a priest outfit, but slightly more feminine. The skirt ended way before her knees. And there was a yellow slash around her waist. Not to mention she had a silk hood and had a curtain of black hair over one of her blue eyes. She even had a necklace made of red beads around her neck.
"A-a-a-ah! P-P-Priestess Rao! Forgive our insolence, miss! We were...just being cautious. You may proceed." The two put their lances aside as the priestess smiled.
"Welcome to Castle Verdia. My name is Rao. I am the head priestess of the church here, and personal retainer to and appointed by Princess Saria herself. She has been waiting for you." Rao then turned to Grace.
"Miss, I know you are merely here with your friend, but you are welcome to make hospitality of the castle as you wish. And her majesty would not think ill of you having an audience with her along with your friend. But, may I know your names?"

"I do wish to hold an audience with Princess Saria, as this is an important matter. Thank you for your kindness, Miss Rao." He followed her into the Castle.

"... Very well then." Ledrith pulled a dark book from within his robes. "What's that, something you stole?" the merchant was irritated enough by this insolent kid - of course, Ledrith had not been overly open about his royal heritage, seeing as he was talking to the commoners and had thus simply been taken for a student of magic. "Do you, common plebian, think I would stoop low enough to steal a tome of magic? At the very least, I would pay people the just amount for what they were offering to me." He placed the book on the table that separated the merchant for himself and he turned to a page. He spoke the symbols upon while the merchant laughed at him for speaking such utter gibberish. Then, in a moment, a sphere of darkness appeared above the merchant; a disk of darkness below his feet. Ledrith then spoke a single word of English as the symbols on the page faded into the ether. "...Flux." The sphere attempted to reach the disc, tearing at the unlucky merchant as it did so. By the time the sphere and the disc were united and then slipped back into the air, the man had fallen unconscious. And the merchant was missing his one of the kind tome.

Unique Weapon: Caledwch, a finely crafted, yet fairly plain, longsword who's maker no longer is alive. Was a gift from the previous leader of Tyr's Wolves, a highly skilled and famous group of mercenaries since disbanded. Has a slightly greenish tint to the steel.
Attitude: Sarcastic, blunt and laid-back, Duana works by a rather obscure code of ethics she inherited from her former company, but is willing to put up with a lot if it means getting paid. However, given her reputation as a former member of one of the most skilled mercenary groups in existence, she will fight back if needled. Quick and efficient in battle, Jenna does her job well and is proud of it.
Appearance: Tall, with dark black hair that reaches her waist and blue eyes. She wears a green headband, dark green long tunic shirt (torn and missing sleeves) , tan pants, calf high riding boots,ragged dusty blue cape, mismatched armor including two leather gauntlets and a shoulder guard (pauldron) on the right side. Calewch (or other sword) hangs on the right side. general appearance is one of wear and usage. Often seen with an impudent smile.
Position: Former second-in-command of Tyr's wolves, currently working as a lone merc and barely getting by.

Rao knocked on the door and then entered, approaching the throne where a silver maiden sat on the chair.
"Princess Saria." Rao bowed before her.
"I present Xero of Arsenia, messenger of the king." Rao then walked next to Saria and stood by her.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, I am Saria, princess of Verdia. Now, what message does his Majesty have for me?"

"Your Highness," Xero bowed and then continued, "his Majesty, King Raphael, sends warning. There's been some sightings of Larcenian attacks around Moltalir and around Verdia lately, and he wishes to offer help in case they come here." He looked towards Grace when he continued, "They already came near where Grace was when I came by. One of the scout groups spotted a large wave coming this way. Apparently, they will reach here tomorrow."

"Well, in truth, we were actually attacked yesterday. And I'm afraid my father, King Demetris, fell in the battle. But thanks to Rao here, who is well respected and loved by my citizens and also a superb sage, we were able to fight them off. And if they're coming tomorrow...it seems we must prepare for an invasion. But, I am grateful for King Raphael's support. We have long since treasured our alliance with Arsenia. And thank you as well for coming all this way."
"I must make a request, though...I wish that you will permit me entry on the battlefield." Saria finished, looking at Xero.

"Mister Xero!" A man ran into the castle, after having stated his business to the guards. "Larcenian guards have been seen heading--"
"They're already almost here!?" stated Xero.
"N-No... they're going towards Arsenia!"
Xero swore under his breath. "We must hurry back, then." He looked at Saria. "Your Highness, I'm afraid I must be heading back for right now. It seems that the Larcenians planned a surprise attack on my homeland. And I have a friend that I wish to help over there as well. We will return before the attack tomorrow." He bowed to her.

In Arsenia, the guards got up to the gate, hearing the coming of soldiers.
One such guard, one of the only ones without a helmet, with blue hair and a general's armor, frowned. "An invasion...? What is Larcenia thinking!?"

Name: Chris
Class: Lord
Weapons: Most blades will work with him.
Starting Special Weapon: Fury Blade - A one-handed sword that allows him to attack swiftly and mercilessly.
Appearance: Blue hair, usually wearing general's armor, but sometimes wears normal clothes.
Attitude: Chris is pretty naive for a general/Lord. He'll often rush into battle without thinking, unless he's battling with someone. He can let his anger get the best of him, but he's still a powerful warrior to be reckoned with.
When not in battle, he's pretty serious, and protective of his friends and his homeland.
Position: 2nd General of the Arsenian Army.
