This is one of the more advanced RP that I have been a part of in my time.
This is called VS battle.
You create a character, give him skills and weaknesses and descriptions and such.

Here are the rules


Definition: The start of the battle is when the topic for the battle is made.
1. No omnipotent characters
2. No instant-death moves; similarly
3. No "indestructable" warriors
4. If a particular warrior goes undefeated for three consecutive* battles, then that warrior cannot be used unless challenged.
5. You may challenge a specific person to a match before the next battle starts.
6. If an undefeated (via rule #4) warrior loses to a challenge, then they will be granted the right to battle until they win three consecutive* battles.
7. In battles with more than two contestants, contestants will not be permitted to join forces against another, unless specified before the battle. Any formal 'teaming up' will result in disqualificaton for all parties involved.
8. On that note, if two warriors *happen* to attack the same person, they will not be penalized. It is practically impossible to have a three-way battle where everyone attacks someone different.
9. If you use a warrior, you are not to do anything that the warrior wouldn't do or would be opposed to doing.
10. Always assume that the judge(s) do(es)n't know your character.
11. Limit teleportation and illusion; by discretion of the judge. Inform the judge when taking any illusory action.
12. (Once we get enough participants for this to apply) Multiple battles may go on at the same time; however, they must be in different arenas unless arranged so before either battles start. If that is the case, then I will merge the battles into one thread and combine post limits, to minimize confusion when the battles interact.
13. You may choose to have your battle include the wreckage and debris, etc. from a previous battle. Again, this must be decided prior to the start of the battle.
14. You may (before the start of the battle) choose to use the first few posts of a battle for an exchange of words and non-battle actions (taunts). You should set a limit so that it stays brief. These will not count towards the post limit for the fight, unless it passes the limit or happens mid-battle. Also, you may start the fighting before the limit has been reached, assuming you don't use it as an opportunity for a pre-emptive strike (i.e. if your opponent does a handstand for his taunt you cannot push him over instead of taunting. You can however push him over as your counter-taunt, assuming it has no effect on the rest of the battle).
15. You may not use a taunt as preparation for the battle (i.e. no charging up, using buffs, setting traps, etc.)
16. No retconning/time traveling. Temporal changes are too complicated for a Vs. Battle.
17. If your warrior does something that you do not want your opponent to know about right away, inform the judge when that action takes place. Otherwise it will be considered retconning.
18. Undefeated warriors get taken to the Cell. If multiple warriors are in the Cell, they are free to fight eachother there, regardless of win records. These are not counted as challenges and therefore are not applied to rule #6.
*Note that 'consecutive' does not count all battles, just ones involving that warrior.

For Judges.

1. The winner of a battle does not necessarily have to be the one who left the battle in better condition, but it is definitely a factor. You may use whatever criteria you want to declare the winner, assuming that it is a fair assessment, and follows any rules below. Remember: the point is to have fun, not win (winning is just a bonus).
2. You don't have to tell anyone why you chose who you did, except for your fellow judges (if there are any). You should, however, give some reason so people don't question your abilities as a judge. This allows you to play the "I'm judge. What I say is final" card if a player is being too whiny.
3. Out of the list below, you should consider as many of the criteria as you think applies. The only one you HAVE to consider is the first one (after all, it is a battle).
Some possibilities for judging criteria:
General condition (physical, mental, etc.) of warriors
Players' strategy
Players' creativity
Players' involvement (taking time to make the posts more interesting, etc.)
Characters' involvement (whether they spent most of the battle hiding, etc.)
Players' style
What players had to resort to
Staying in-character
4. When in an arena where random things happen, find a way to randomly generate results. This could be a die roll, a computer's random number generator, or asking someone nearby to pick a number between, say, 1 and 10 (eenie-meenie-miny-moe is not recommended, because it tends to have similar results). Please keep in mind the chances of anything happening, so you can maintain fairness and reasonability.

Spectators:
Anyone who is not a judge or player can be a spectator. You do not need to declare yourself as one.
Spectators may not interfere with the battle, but may still post in the thread.
Any actions taken by a warrior that effects the spectators specifically do not count as part of that warrior's turn.
If it starts to become a problem, I will limit the amount of spectator posts. I don't want pages of conversations in between warriors' posts.




Arenas,

Lets make some people!


Elements

Arenas that are strongly affected by an element gets special properties. Spells and energies that correspond to that element are empowered, while spells and energies of the opposing element are dampened.

Here’s a list of the current element pairs and their effects.

Fire
Fire-element arenas are generally very hot. Anyone without protection slowly dehydrates, and may eventually get heat stroke. Cold things don’t remain cold for long, and flammable things may catch fire. Water-attribute warriors take twice as much damage from fire effects, where fire-attribute warriors are not affected by the heat.
Opposing element: Water

Water
Water(or ice)-element arenas tend to be cold. Anyone without protection may eventually get frostbite or hypothermia. Warm things don’t remain warm for long, and water tends to freeze. Fire-attribute warriors take twice as much damage from fire effects, where water-attribute warriors are not affected by the chill. Cold-blooded creatures find themselves slowed down.
Opposing element: Fire

Wind
Wind-element arenas tend to be large and open. Winds may blow projectiles and–if strong enough–warriors around. Earth effects may be nullified if not enough stable ground is nearby.
Opposing element: Earth

Earth
Earth-element arenas tend to be dark and confined. Terrain plays a large role in how warriors maneuver around. Wind effects may be nullified if there isn’t enough air to manipulate.
Opposing element: Wind

Light
Light-element arenas are generally very well lit, and are often in a state of perpetual daylight. Divine/angelic warriors feel empowered, while demonic warriors slowly take damage from the arena. Dark-based creatures tend to feel very guilty in light-aligned arenas.
Opposing element: Darkness

Darkness
Dark-element arenas are generally dimly lit, and are often in a state of perpetual night. Demonic warriors feel most powerful in these arenas, where angelic warriors are slowly damaged from the dark energies. Light-based creatures tend to grow paranoid when in dark-aligned arenas.
Opposing element: Light

Technology
Technological arenas are futuristic. Machines are common, and computers may be available to those who can use them. Magic cast out is absorbed into nearby power cells, essentially nullifying it.
Opposing element: Magic

Magic
Magical arenas are fantastic. Mystical creatures may roam the area, and spellcasters feel empowered. However, magic interferes with most electronics, and jams complicated mechanical devices.
Opposing element: Technology.

Weapon: Echo Blade (shichishito)
Skills: The 7 echos of death.
Echo 1: Echo slash, A multiple of up to 36 slashes can be made at the same time, and launched as a projectial at a target. If the slash count is 8 or below they all launch at once. Above 8 they launch one by one.
Echo 2: Sword graveyard: Uses the special powers of 3 different people that have have been used on the caster. (think of it like the enemy skill from ff7.) only 20 specials can be stored in the blade and are gone when it is cast. (If you cast tsunami on me I get to use tsunami ONCE. (list of skills) Din's Fire.
Echo 3: Echo Phantasm : A Transforming skill. It changes the caster into the Echost Angel. A link of chains ties the target together. Each chain represents each sin a person has ever committed. A single slash for every chain is cut into the person, for each slash they are forgiven 1 sin. At the end of the phantasm, the person Is forgiven of every sin they have ever commited. Echo Phantasm cannot be cast on the same person twice, (edit) The skill can be cast on the same person again if they have commited enough sins. (list of the forgiven) None
Echo 4: Echose Requiem. The least used of the powers. A multiple of the caster Is created, Each can use Sword Graveyard But no other special. (Echose Spells cannot be cast unless the caster is in the Echost Angel form.)
Echo 5: Echose Forgiveness: It heals all people on the field to there fullest power (even the enemy) It doesn't work if the healer is in mid-air, BUT if the caster uses it while on any size of earth (even a single stone) The special is cast normaly. The only way another person can be healed is if they are on the same ground and level of earth.
Echo 6: Echos of happyness. This special can only be cast when the caster is part of a team. For each person who is on the team, the power is incresed by every second the person has ever been happy. (this is not an Echose spell)
Echo 7: Echose End. The caster, and anyone surrounding him, fades away. As if they never existed. This spell cannot be cast unless every other special has been used. The caster automatically loses the match. The range of the special is 2 miles of the casters position in a complete 360° angle. All teleportation is nullified in the casing of this spell.
Weakness: Being De-fused (Saile zalost is a fusion of two people) Light and dark powers.
Biography: Saile Zalost is a quiet person. He doesn't like to fight but will defend anyone he cares about. He will always exsist, So long as someone remembers him, He will Echo back to existence.


Name: Lucius Skye (friends call him Lou)
Age: 21
Species and Gender: Human, Male
Birthplace: Hidden location within the Dias Mountains
Affiliation and Rank: Self-serving, Mage (Light and Wind)
Weapon: Small Daggers (Three).

Skills:- Knife-fighting skills: Not really a special power, just close-combat prowess. Lou knows multiple styles of combat with his daggers, some rather unique.
- Element Wield: The general term for his natural ability to control and manipulate light and air.
- Holy Flare: Blinding flash that comes from the sun when used-- blinds everyone: enemies, the user, passers-by, with a light bright enough to blind somebody even with their eyes closed. (Temporary blindness.)
- Noah's Maelstrom: Deafening whirlwind that sucks up any debris and small objects to obscure vision. Winds will make it impossible for anybody to hear any sounds, cause slight disorientation, and occasionally decrease visibility (dependent upon area: sandy; moist; floral).
- Wind Travel: Summons winds to carry him. Increases in power in open areas, and becomes less focused the smaller the space.
- Bright-light Fight: Dubbed such when he was 12, he makes his daggers shine brightly by manipulating available light, making it slightly painful to stare at them directly. Can cause extra harm to 'Dark' elementals.
- Skyelarking Shenanigans: A true abuse of his powers, he simply gave a name to when he uses his control of air or manipulation of light to prank people (i.e. Tripping with wind, flashing light in one's eyes, etc.; child's play.)

Biography: Lou was born into a reclusive "Spiritualist Organization", one that was under the foundation of obtaining peace and harmony in the universe through various means, all a well kept secret. However, Lou himself wasn't exactly fond of their methods, especially after learning more about the Organization's bloody history. Out of the desire to no longer follow the laws, and to travel freely in the world, he ran away. All about being a free spirit and uncaring, he left his history in the dust. Has an issue against 'Mary-Sue' types, and alternatively those who complain about their lives while still BEING alive.
He was given his name after those of the Organization discovered the nature of his elemental affiliation: Lucius, for the Latin word for 'light'; Skye for his family-line's natural affiliation to wind. He was trained by the Organization to overcome the natural hindrances of his powers through the use and enhancement of the senses. Added his own style to his trainings after 'bolting for bluer skies,' so to speak.

Species and Gender: Robot, male
Birthplace: Monsteropolis
Affiliation and Rank: Dr. Light, Hero
Weapon: Mega Buster

Skills: Superhuman speed and strength, an arm cannon, which mainly shoots plasma projectiles, and a Weapon Copy skill. This ability allows him to gain a skill from the enemy he is fighting, but it dissappears after the match. He's also got a "Hyper Mega Man Adapter". Mega Man combines with Rush, Eddie, and Beat to become Hyper Mega Man, where he grows in size and extends wings and a rocket pack from his back. He will then fire his lazor and shoot rockets from his shoulders, boots, torso, and back.

Biography: He is Mega Man, he's blue and cyan. The creation of Dr. Light, or "Right" if you are from Japan, (also known as Rockman). His Mega Buster can cut the mustard, I'm a flustered amputee! POW POW! Eight robot bosses in eight levels dishevel and revel in devilry, he'll steal their weaponry. He is also known as the "Blue Bomber", he could shoot the legs off Jeffrey Dahmer. Kill a robot fish, kill a robot frog, and then he rides off on his robot dog. He is Mega Man, he's got a motherfuckin' gun for a hand! Put together by Dr. Right, or "Light" if you're American (I eat all my Mega Bran!). He lives in 2-D and it's his duty to destroy the master bots. POW POW! If you're aghast and you can't last there's a fast way to pass all those bastard bots: blue and red password dots! He is also known as the "Blue Bomber", he is voting for Ba-Rockman Obama! As for robot help, dogs are much preferred 'cause he can't do shit with a robot bird.

Ok, you guys have them set up correctly, Just one thing.

Gyakuten, Megaman can only get guns, he cant copy every special, (my character can copy any, But he cannot keep them)
Its ok if he has that effect, but kinda unfair if every skill can be copied.

Insho, your good to go.

I have one question for both of you, are these characters your avatars?
If they are, only YOU can use them. Any more characters you make can be used by anyone.

Lou would be my main character here, I suppose... I hardly ever make more than one character/player in RPs.

The weather was rather dark outside, stromclouds lazily refusing to pour their loads...

Wake up.
Get cleaned up.
Get dressed.
Eat breakfast.
Pay the Inn owner.

The morning routine for Lucias Skye. It didn't matter what city he was in, it was always the same. He was glad, though, that this was the only thing that was the same, and that he had at least one thing that repeated itself daily. Lucias was prone to spontaneity, his life no longer held by the binds of everyday limits. Still, he NEEDED money, and on the off-chance that he couldn't snatch some, he'd work odd jobs for the rental pay.
Not that stealing wasn't easy. Just, he always felt guilty about it, and returned it in full by the time he left. So he had another habit, which is why he tried to get paid rather than 'borrow without permission'.

Introspection, he had decided long ago, was one of his strong suits, like it or not. At least it had made him leave the Organization before he got too old and they brainwashed him with their talks of salvation like the rest.

Today was especially different from the rest, however, which was one of the reasons Lucias was practically giddy with excitement. For the sake of getting a huge sum of prize money, which'd allow him to be free of the binds of debt for a good while, he had signed up for a special tournament that was being held within this large city. He had heard of it a few towns ago, and had been traveling fervently to get there in time.
It was smooth sailing getting into the cityy, finding the right place, and getting registered... with the exception of the entry fee. He managed to "find" the cash needed from a few passers by.
Trying out a new tradition, he had made some rudimentary "I.O.U." notes, so that they would know that he was in the tournament, and would pay them back later. It also gave them a damn good reason to root for him.

Walking through the front doors, Lucias closed his eyes, adjusting to the light inside the building.

Well... it was an epic intro nonetheless.
I like my RP characters to have soul, ya know?

As for the judge, we only have Aya, and there is only you and GP to fight against, so whoever asks first, I'll take on.
